Whatever happened to this place. Look at the reviews it's clear there's a problem. Unwilling to take feedback or listen to a paying customer. I won't ever be using dominos again. Dry, burnt cardboard tasting pizza which arrives cold.

Ordered and waited, and waited and waited. Spoke to one of the managers. He told me it was a game of chance whether we would get our food hot or cold. Won't be ordering again. Awful.

Revolting, cold, expensive rubbish, more crust than topping, will never order again, someone really needs rolling down the hill for that UTFT

I called in to the shop this evening, not a big order. Waited and nobody took my order. I went to Pizza Hut.

The pizza was fine but disappointingly the order was wrong. The wedges were ok. Chicken side was good but there was no cookie dessert but a garlic bread that couldn’t be eaten and was not ordered. I contacted but not a great response for the cost.

I wouldn't have imagined Domino's branches to differ when it comes to recipes. However, as a St Helens local, I also own a caravan in Morcambe and tend to order pizza when I'm there. I have to say, the pizza from Morcambe is out of this world. The tomato based sauce they use is kind of zingy, really to die for. The toppings blend together and it all goes together to make the perfect pizza. The pizzas from the St Helens branch are entirely different - lifeless, dry, pale, not cooked as well and fairly tasteless. Don't quite understand the reasons fro this. Also, I've often gone in to collect pizza and been stood there for a while unacknowledged.

Pizza is disgusting tastes like cold cardboard I had to keep checking that I wasn't eating the box instead.They use halal meat for there chicken it says that on there website so won't be eating from Domino's anymore as I am completely against halal meat.

I rang dominios St. Helens as me and my partner have ordered quite a few times and asked for extra cheese and every time they haven’t put it on the pizza now tonight I’ve rang and asked again for a 6th time and the girl was very abrupt and put the phone down on me when I told her about us not receiving our extra cheese every other time? Not appreciated at all! Pay for something you don’t get with that at all!

Paid £17 for a small gluten free pizza which was not cut up when I got home, my friends ordered a large pizza for £10 half the price of my tiny pizza her was supposed to be the cheese burger pizza which came with no sauce and was cold! RIP off poor service!

Really surprised at the amount of 1 star reviews for this branch of Dominos. I've eaten from several branches up and down the country, and even abroad in Washington DC, and the St Helens branch is head and shoulders above the rest. We've never experienced a bad pizza from Duke Street, and if we collect instead of opt for delivery then we sometimes get extras when no-show customers fail to collect their orders. In my opinion they offer the best customer service and they have the best range of pizzas to choose from. Keep up the good work!

This pizza was like eating cheese on a hard, crispy cracker, and it was half cold by the time it arrived. Was hungry,so we are it anyway. Will probably go to Pizza Hut next time though.

My family have had food from this branch of Domino’s on about 10 occasions over the last few years. We have always ordered to pick it up ourselves, so I can’t comment on the delivery service. The food is almost always ready when expected and, if not, I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of minutes. We’ve never had a bad pizza from here and, as there are often special offers, they are very reasonably priced. I have always found the serving staff very helpful.

Regular visitor on my son Joshs request. Clean well staffed and friendly terrific takeaway pizza palace. Greeted with a smile by counter staff who always ask Hows your day providing a fast first class service. Loads of choice keeps us comimg back for more.

Spent £50 for a cold delivery Never again will I ever order from St. Helens dominos or any other dominos store absolutely disgraceful customer services

Received our order and wasn't impressed that the dough on our garlic bread wasn't cooked it was chewy, the dough on our pizzas weren't much better and we were left very disappointed again with this place.

Decided to order from here pizza i ordered was nice wedges werent nice its very pricey dont think the meal deals are all that either

Ordered pizzas for our son's school Prom. Wow. The guy that took our order really looked after us and we couldn't ask for better service. The school is for kids with special educational needs and we wanted to help make their prom as special as everyone else's. The pizzas arrived on time and went down so so well. Thank you all for helping make our kids extremely happy on their special day. You're all superstars xxx

Best take away pizza in St Helens, visit here quite often, although can be pricey there are some good deals and offers! Food is always great, love the desserts too!

I ordered a mighty meaty pizza, it should have been renamed a slightly meaty pizza! Virtually no meat on it and uncooked. The chicken wings were falsely advertised, they should have been called chick wings they were that small. Turns out our niece doesn't like chicken with bones so we called back and asked for 14 chicken strippers. We recieved 6 chicken kickers and 8 more chick wings. So I called them back and they said they could some out then or in the future and didnt even mention a refund. Well I wont be taking them up on their offer as if their attention to detail is that poor I wouldn't trust their hygiene, unless it was when the inspectors are due. All in all I agree with most of the other reviews on here and think Domino's should look at removing this franchise from the current owners or shutting the shop entirely

9 out of 10 times this restaurant gets it spot on and the pizza arrives piping hot and fresh. When it does it's a delight - especially if a deal is on.Frank's Hot Wings are to die for.Delivery drivers are generally smart, professional and friendly.My house can be hard to find so I'm always chuffed when it's a driver we know has been before!

Pizza was cold an tasteless, hardly any topping. Staff have no customer service skills what so ever an the manager is even worse, scruffy, not interested, very rude and has no idea how to speak to people, I was embarrassed for him. blamed being busy an did not offer to remake or refund. disgusting service an I will not be returning.

I love Domino's the pizzas are so tastey and the selection is great. Its mine and my boyfriends naughty treat night. Ordered on line with a timed delivery booked two hours in advance. Food didnt turn up so called to query - a timed booking is not a guaranteed delivery time it seems which is fair enough except to be told that they are busy and deliveries are taking an hour despite our order exceeding this. I pointed out that we had received a confirmation e mail with a estimated delivery time which was obviously missed only to experience dreadful attitude from the operative. I asked to speak to a manager who was worse and said if i wanted to complain could i call another time he was to busy!!!

One order three visits, when you spend money on dominoes you'd expect the whole order delivered at once also to be of a high quality but this seemed to be unachieveable by the St. Helens franchise. First delivery one pizza missing contacted the store manager who seemed disinterested and put out by the complaint made abruptly advised that the pizza that was missing would follow shortly the pizza that was delivered was as dry as the gobie desert as a Texas bbq one you'd expect some bbq sauce on it.Informed the manager of the dryness of the pizza who'd seemed to disbelieve this was the case and said what do you want me to do about it, I asked for a replacement one with bbq sauce on it was told to return the complete pizza to the delivery driver the missing pizza arrived 15 mins later that driver asked for the dry pizza and took it away we also asked where the replacement was as we thought we'd get the replacement then and was told pizza had to go back to be checked. Waited a further 10-15 minutes then the third delivery arrived with replacement pizza. Totally underwhelmed also disgusted with the attitude of the store manager as they are a treat due to cost you'd think the response would be better especially from the manager who should lead by example, the delivery team were very good but feel in this case undervalued dissatisfied under whelmed and out of pocket.I assume Thursday tea times are generally quieter so would expect better, they have just let the brand down purely and simply won't be back

One evening I thought I would treat myself to a pizza from this takeaway rather than buy a frozen one from a supermarket. I watched as the pizza base was freshly prepared and waited approximately 15 minutes in total for the well topped pizza. Thank goodness I didn't choose the larger pizza because I very nearly had to take out a second mortgage for this pizza. It was quite tasty but so incredibly expensive that I am surprised in this recession how they stay in business. I have tasted cheaper and better pizzas.

not the cheapest of places but you cannot knock the quality of the food. Freshly made with good topping. Better to go when there is a deal on otherwise it can be dear.

You can eat a proper pizza, in a decent restaurant or go to dominos's.Crazy price. I won't be going back. Watch out for delivary charges.

Ordered pizza for delivery paying by cardDelivery man turns up hands the pizza over passes him card says he needs to get card machine asks for pizza back and goes to car and just drives off so we ring the shop speak to the manager she saod she would ring him to turn straight round ten mins later we ring back speak to manager again she tells us same thing that he has turned round and will leave pizza she has lied as he turns back up with card machine tells us he has been back to the shop in the town centre so he has not tuned round and been all the way back to the shop with the pizza never again will we use them dont expect managers to lie still charged us twenty pound for a cold pizza

will never eat at any of these again the pizza's tastes like plastic and cost more than other places, they are like the pizza's you buy for £1 in a supermarket
