Domino's Pizza - Newton Abbot in Teignbridge

Dominoes newton abbot. Ordered a few pizzas for delivery along with some dips. As the delivery driver was taking the pizzas out the bag, he dropped the dips which fell inside our door way and split. Sauce over the carpets, slight splash up the wall and on the front door slabs. Driver said sorry about that as walked off to his car, called the shop. No help or anything. Offered to refund us £2.99. That was it. Will the manager was useless and no help at all. Would never employ him for a job. Due to this level of service will not use them again. Even head office were no help

Great timed online order to pick up on way home from a day out..all food scoffed by hungry bunch, no complaints!

Newton Abbot is getting worse, this the third time they've got our order with something wrong or missing, and their reply is "just bring it back" This also happened to my mates, 4 doors up

We get pizza from here all the time and the food and service has always been perfect. The staff are always very friendly, especially Sam (I think he’s a manager) who has always been super helpful.

Walked in to order there was a deal buy one get one free , they never offered if just charged me full price for 1 pizza when I should have another one free . Poor customer service.

The pizzas are really good and great value. The only issue is that sometimes they don't follow delivery instructions. I often order just before I have an evening of online meetings, meaning that I leave a delivery instruction to "please leave on the doorstep." Unfortunately, there's not enough space to also put "please don't knock on the door or phone me" also. Sometimes, they phone me or try to knock and assume that I'm not in, as I can't answer, so they leave without putting the pizza on the doorstep. I don't want to feel like I'm wasting the driver's time either. It would be great if there was an option to select "please leave on the doorstep", thank you.

Went in to obviously order food, the guy behind the counter took our order then we went to pay and they guy says its card only!! Why didn't you mention that first as we only had cash. Apparently since covid and lockdown all domino's stores are card only.

Ordered food for delivery App said 45 mins. 2 hrs later food arrived COLD and INCORRECT. Rang store and all I got was attitude This is not acceptable Dominoes!!! Sort out your staff and the customer experience Diabolical

What is quality check for? For the past three times, I’ve ordered extra toppings but always missing the Sriracha drizzle or cranberry drizzle, instead there was one piece of sausage on the most recent pizza, as well as it being burnt, so am very dissatisfied, especially since I pay extra, there is no point for the quality check if it’s going to be wrong anyways, the only positive I have is the delivery time.

Tell your wife they don't take phone/ internet orders and you can go for a cheeky pint down the road while you wait

Shocking soggy pizza with hardly any toppings, extremely over priced for what it was, Domino's have really gone down hill, I'm actually glad papa John's is in newton now, even one of Domino's staff refuses to have pizza from work and gets from papa John's as I was talking to them last time I was in Papas they had just finished work and gone in for a pizza and when I said why when you work at Domino's they said "have you eaten from there?" "I wouldn't give it my pet". That just confirmed my pizza nightmare, don't go Domino's if you want nice pizza

Ordered a collection last night, was quoted 12-17 minutes, it took 1.5 hours. Food was cold when we got home and one of the pizzas wasnt what we ordered. Very poor, wont be using again

Fantastic person who served us felt welcome and was super friendly though paid extra for a topping and never received it despite it saying on the label on the box, and when I mentioned it after realising at home and was told to bring back the whole pizza for it to be remade the next day! Didn't do that as it was my dinner and lived a fair way away

Ryan prepared our veggie pizzas and they were amazingly delicious ! Well done mate!Order was ready to collect when we arrived. The location is right next to a large car park so you can park there and collect your pizza. I would recommend a pizza here if you are nearby

Ordered a pizza online for collection, a few of the items were unavalible but a member of staff was able to quickly ring up and let me know, avoiding any disappointment when I came to collect as everything had been sorted beforehand.

Ordered online and came from Teignmouth for collection. Only to find that I haven't got the pizza I ordered at all now I'm back home!! What an absolute waste of time and money and now food!

Not had a Domino in absolute years. Yeh this can be pricey but plenty of offers available.

Always a good experience when collecting, sometimes the waits are long but Pizzas are always fresh and hot.

Going on my latest experience and the way I was treated, I will never buy anything from Domino's ever again.

Newton Abbot. What a joke, ordered 4 large pizza and sides for collection 40 minutes. Drove 44 minutes, 4 minutes late, and we're told there would be a 25 minutes wait. Waited 45 minutes before we got them. And in that time, 3 times i saw the girl who was making the bases and putting the cheese on pick up the handset to answer the phone and then go back to doing her job without washing her hands once. Buy the time we got home 25 minutes later the pizza was nearly cold. When I asked for any discount off our next visit he just laughed and said no.

They missed a pizza, rang to get it delivered and it never came. This was a treat for my family very expensive poor service do not get delivery from newton abbot extremely poor service.

On 2 separate occasions now we have tried to order from Domino's Newton Abbot only to discover that they are not delivering to our area (3 miles away). OK, I get it, sometimes busy periods require limitations on driver delivery times, but when you then purchase through just eat and add the additional costs associated only to be met at the door by someone dressed in a Domino's uniform, it's a bit of a p**S take.

This place isn't very well run & not hygienic at all, the pizza has had hair's in it or they have rushed & thrown pizza in the box. They say they wear hair net's but everytime I pick up they don't they just wear cap's which could be a bit more hygienic. I would 100% avoid this place, as there are better pizza place's around newton abbot. The young boy is the manager & doesn't have a clue what he's doing & very rude at time's. He talks down to people

Stupidly long wait Cold food Very poor

We were missing 3 items, dough balls (because they had run out of dough?!) and a large pizza and chicken wings. The medium pizza was so bad we could only eat half of it. We rang to complain and the poor person who answered the phone had no authority to do anything. They have agreed a refund for the missing items (we wait to see if we get it and how much as we purchased using a deal) and they actually wasted time by sending a driver to collect a half eaten pizza! We don’t order from dominos very frequently and tonight’s experience certainly won’t encourage us to re-order again in a hurry!

Ordered paid, didn't arrive terrible company went to papa John's instead amazing food

After 30mins of wait wrong order was given and then told us to wait for 5mins for your new order it took extra 40mins very very very bad service

Ordered online today for my daughter's birthday. Fab, swift service. Driver Alex was lovely, nice, friendly & was so polite when I apologised for not having cash to give him a tip. It would be awesome if Domino's had an online tip service whereby customers could tip that driver after delivery had been made. Uber Eats do it, so it's possible.

1st time there only went in 4 a couple of drinks but stayed the night and got wrecked the only let down was the quality of the food, aparnatly they had a new chef but should b no excuse

Two and half hours and they still haven't delivered and we live in Newton Abbot. We rang after an hour and were promised it was on its way. If I could, it would get zero stars.

Veg pesto pizza was inconsistent with some of slices having too much pesto and some of them with negligible amount. Taste was good for the ones that had the right amount. Have this regularly in London and it’s tastes really good. Definitely recommend.

Apparently vegi supreme Ⓥ pizza containing chicken is acceptable to send to customers

We don't eat Domino's much but in the past my wife and I have always been happy with our pizzas that was until last night , meatballs have gone and been replaced with some not so nice sausage and the one pizza base that I like , the thin and crispy has now gone , so its the end of Domino's in our house and over to Papa Johns when they open .

Slow service, sauce unevenly spread over cooked crust ....disappointing. I would go somewhere else in future.

Ordered 2 pizzas one was correct but the second was a double decadence that had no sauce in the crusts so was very dry, phoned up to complain and they said they would remake it if I brought it back, so off I went to have the pizza remade and to their word they did remake it. On getting home to eat the second attempt I was greeted by a half cooked pizza where even the cheese hadn't even melted fully. Will not be going back and wouldn't recommend

The wrong order was delivered. My wife phoned up to complain. The manager(ess), who refused to give her name, threatened to put the phone down on my wife. As a consequence, my wife telephoned head office, it turns out that the franchisee has been complained about before, indeed, they only have a 2.5* rating. I am still waiting for my replacement pizza an hour after the promised delivery. Head office are looking into it. Dr.Philip Walters

The order was completely wrong, and missing some items. The pizza was undercooked and contained the wrong ingredients. A thoroughly horrible experience, which has probably put me off pizza for life. Dreadful.

So a neat thing happened tonight. We ordered two pizzas, one of which was fine, the other was over cooked and the pepperoni was practically black. So, my partner calls to ask for a replacement, to which they say they can have another one here in 10 minutes. More than 30 minutes later, the replacement comes and eureka, it looks just like the original one did. So, we call the store again and another “manager” says the pizza is fine and they aren’t willing to do anything for it. Here are pics of the original and the replacement. The original one is the one that has had a couple bites taken, and the replacement is untouched. And effectively, the store refuses to hear anything more about it and referred me to corporate. I promise I won’t be spending another dime at that store again.

Ordered pizza for my husband's birthday treat, what an absolute disaster. Had to wait over an hour for the pizzas to arrive and when they did they were stone cold, not even luke warm. Phoned to complain and was told that they normally have 9 drivers but tonight they were operating with only 3, they admitted that the pizzas had been sat in a "hot box" for a while. I asked for a refund as feel £24 for two pizzas is a little excessive even when they are delicious and hot but absolutely cannot justify paying that amount for stone cold food. To make matters worse we were asked how much we had eaten (one bite) and told that the food had to be returned in order to receive a refund, so we're made to feel as if we were pulling a fast one. Very poor customer service and generally a very negative experience. The family run local Chinese saved our night, just shows how little the corporate machine actually cares. Will not be using you again Domino's.

Absolutely terrible placed a order and spent just under £50 pound for the order to be wrong and to then we were hardly dealt with and very rudely spoken to, just one of the problems was they forgot our chicken strips and we had 2 boxes of wedges and in fact one of the boxes full of wedges was labels chicken strips and we explained this on the phone but they still did not care and for some reason was saying they watched the driver leave with the full order even though we could prove it was wrong, they then hung the phone up on us at 11:46 and didn’t answer again until after 12pm when they then told us there was nothing they could do as they were shut, they did this on purpose! Absolutely terrible service ordered Pizza Hut from Exeter a few days after and they were absolutely amazing great quality food and amazing customer service definitely recommend Pizza Hut DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON DOMINOS

I been ordering from this Domino's for the last 4 years since moving to Newton Abbot. Multiple times I have ordered as a little treat on a long week. Ordered via app, via phone and visited the branch on occasions. The app I find to be the weirdest method as.. The indicator would still be in preparation stage and we will get a knock at the door by the delivery driver. Never really pay attention to the app since. The phone manner of the staff I find to be very nice. Always had a very polite, helpful and welcoming staff member that has resolved issues, helped us along with deliveries going to wrong addresses or missing order. While I'm on the subject of wrong addresses... unfortunately 85% of the time our order always ends up in Kingsteignton. We get a call from the delivery driver saying they are outside.. In Kingsteignton. The staff are always very nice and apologetic about it, I can completely understand it. Two places in close proximity with the same street name. (Recently had a delivery driver knock on our door when we havent ordered so possibly the Kingsteignton received cold pizza). Unfortunately it means by the time it arrives with us it is cold, but not all bad, cold pizza is still good. Unfortunately we have had times when we haven't received items in our order, however they have always redelivered the missing items as well as giving us something extra, which is so lovely of them. The pizzas are always generously pack with ingredients! Never received a bad pizza from them at all. Defiantly put a lot of time and effort into their food! Sometimes Dominos is hit and miss for that, however Newton's always delivers on good pizza All be it to the wrong address at times haha. I would love to give this branch more stars as the staff has always been so lovely and really helpful, however, it just makes us more reluctant to order from Domino's when we want a nice warm pizza. As we know it has a high chance of going to the wrong address. Food is honestly 5 star Service and staff is 5 star

Absolutely shocking customer service. Ordered online for collection, upon arrival to collect they had forgotten a garlic pizza, had to wait another 10 minutes for this. When eventually given the food, not so much as a sorry for the inconvenience.

First time I had domino's it was lush and came quick so decided to have it tonight. Ordered the pizza and chicken with 2 other sides. When it was delivered we had 2 boxes of potato wedges and no chicken. Called domino's at 19.55 and they never came. Eating the pepperoni pizza and had a slice of onion in it. Good job I'm not allergic just really hate the taste of it! Won't be going again!

Bought an order last year, they immediately rang me and said they couldn't deliver it after I paid £20!! Rang them about 4 times and they kept asking for my details everytime, said they would ring me back and haven't. Absolutely abismal service. Never buy from them!!! Doesn't even deserve 1 star!!! Given up on my refund.

Shame there's not a NIL Star review on here. Worse experience we've had with a food outlet in a very long time. I understand these are troubling & different times, but key worker just wanted a decent meal and treat! After receiving a very disappointing pizza with very few toppings we spoke direct to the store and told to email photos of our pizza to customer services. Which we followed and received conflicting messages with what the store said. Bad customer service from store point with not much of an apology at all! DO NOT visit here!

The Market Gate pizzas are so much better! I love domino’s but you really need to train your staff!

Just ordered magarite pizza and garlic bread it arrived not very warm and not very fresh we only ate it because we were going out and hungry...not very impressed

An interesting quirk to have the chefs roll up the bases and create the pizzas behind a glass partition, before your eyes. Almost as if they're making the creation of a fast food delivery a performance art piece. It did elicit beard stroking intrigue from me. Can't say that about McDonalds.

terrible ordered online told me it would be ready. I live 10 miles away. arrived store was manic considering it wasnt busy staff didnt have a clue asked me 5 times what my name was then 45 mins later said they have to re cook mine even though my partners was cold sitting on the side absolute shambles

Pizza always tastes good, but they're so bloody slow, every time! Today I ordered online, and it's been half an hour and it's only just gone into the oven... and we're the only people in the shop waiting so it's not as if they are busy.

Worst dominos franchise I have ever used. Pizza was cut unevenly, toppings burnt and spread in a tiny section and the order was also wrong. Tried to get a different one sent out but they wanted me to drive back and drop it back to them. Spoke to senior management for the south west, they offered a free garlic bread with the next order if I dropped the pizza intact into the store. Absolute jokers with 0 customer service ability! DONT ORDER FROM THIS STORE.

Online wouldn't accept postcode for delivery, so had to opt for collection. Order completed late so taxi meter coast me lots. Then dips missing.

Why would anyone go anywhere else

Food took long time although ordered in advance, order wrong when got home and supposedly the manager had really bad attitude and no customer service whatsoever
