Domino's Pizza - East Grinstead in Mid Sussex

Got food poisoning from a vegetarian pizza. I am pretty strong but if you have anyone vulnerable I strongly advise they don't eat from here.

4th time recieved a delivery with an item missing, not sure why they let this keep happening quite frustrating to then wait for the missing item to be delivered.

I’m surprised by all the negative reviews here as we always had a positive one with Dominos. We live close to the town centre and always order deliveries so we never had cold pizzas as the shop is close by. We ordered two vegan Margherita yesterday and they were delish. Dominos and Pizza Express are our go to’s for vegan pizza in town.

Well , how can I start? 2 slices of pizza were margaritas ( no topping on it) . On other slices was just jalapeños on it. Considering we ordered 2 different half, I ended up having 2 slices of the pizza I ordered. This is not nice at all!

Food was cold when it arrived and the delivery driver said if I order again he will not come cause he doesn’t get paid enough to come to the outskirts of your 5 mile radius (we live on the road opposite the boarder of the radius). We’ve been ordering from this branch for decades and have always had a pleasant experience with the delivery drivers whom have never displayed any issue with delivering to us, but this one clearly had an attitude problem for doing his job… really disappointed, maybe don’t have him delivering anymore unless it’s down the road for him.

Started only use dominoes recently again after years of not using them must say i,m happy with the level of quality food reasonable price and delivery well done east grinstead the team

Contacted Dominos in East Grinstead this evening as I have just moved to the area and sadly, the East Grinstead branch doesn't offer 'Double Decadence' As a result I have had to go go out of the town, which is a bit of an inconvenience to me but, the only reason me and my guests order this is for the double decadence. I am not too sure if this is a franchise and the owner cannot be bothered to offer this elite product or if they are uneducated in how to prepare the pizzas in Double Decadence, The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was kind enough, and courteous, it is a huge shame that my business now cannot proceed with this local business. *Advice to those looking to have the iconic 'Double Decadence' base* Answer: head into Pound Hill (12 min from East Grinstead) Answer 2: go to any other dominoes restaurant, I have been up the country and always used dominoes and this particular branch is the only one that doesn't offer their iconic product.

Set a different delivery address for an order, pre-ordered for 6pm. Opened front door at 6:30pm to find it sat in our driveway stone cold. Phoned the store, whoever I spoke to was rude and dismissive, started arguing with me that I was in the wrong despite an order confirmation email specifically saying I had put a different, correct delivery address. When I stood my ground they proceeded to laugh at me, ask me for the address of where the order should actually be delivered to, said a driver would go there and then hung up on me with no mention of collecting the order or delivering a new order. Waiting to see what happens and will be chasing a refund.

Love the pizza. But no cash accepted. That’s the last time I use them. I boycott any company that won’t accept cash. Say no to digital currency!

Warning do not use Domino's pizza East Grinstead as Domino's have been giving out card information to other Domino's and setting up iPhone payments which in the last three days three authorised payments have been made and the bank have confirmed it was done by Domino's East Grinstead so if your going to go there it's best to pay in cash as the fraud team are now investigating as this isn't the first time that it has happened as it's also happened to other HSBC customers so be careful so if you have used them within the last month it's best to check your bank statements and get in contact with HSBC or you bank.

Local business that ignore daily drunk asb outside. Don't care about community at all. Terrible. They stood there doing nothing as I was verbally abused & threatened, along with another woman. As long as they're making money they don't give a flip.

Absolutely shocking, food turned up cold and boxes squashed, sauce had run over sides of box and all over dips, bacon under cooked as well,seriously not impressed by this as we had spent a lot of money 🤬

Ordered pizza 2 hours ago said it was out for delivery and then said it had been delivered. After waiting for 2 hours and in the mean time actually going up the store to ask where it is I go back home and it turned up. Pizza, chicken wings and garlic dipper bread was all cold. Never had problem before but for some reason they have gone down hill and I wont be using them again. Staff where not that happy to help and didn't really seemed bothered about the service they have given

Ordered 2 pizzas. One for us one for grandchildren. Both pizzas were burnt to a crisp. They were smothered in bbq sauce. Wanted it as a dip not all over pizzas. No one could eat them total waste of money.

First time of using here. 1st staff member was a little gruff, they don't take cash, need to order online for discounts ! 2nd staff member was more accommodating (probably got in trouble for it). Pizza's were quite good

Awful. App stated out for delivery for 40 mins. We only live 5 mins from store. Spoke to store and they claimed driver would be with me in 2 mins, which was nonsense. How could they know? We were then asked via email if we wanted to tip the driver - 10 mins before he arrived…. Predictably, pizzas were cold, soggy and inedible after being driven around EG for 30 mins. Hadn’t even been sliced. Avoid. Won’t be ordering again. Only awarding one star as unable to leave feedback if I don’t. Rip off.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!! They will take your money, not deliver the food, mark it as delivered and then not answer the phone. Then there is absolutely nothing you can do to get your food or money back. I wish I’d read the other reviews before I spent £50 I can’t get back tonight to order another dinner

If I could give 0 I would. I just had the phone put down on me for no good reason. They said it would be a 2 hour wait I said that was fine and he hung up on 2/10/2021 at 8.17pm. Will never use this store again absolutely disgraceful behaviour.

Got pepperoni and vegetable supreme delivered. Delivery guy, great, timing, fine. Pizzas tasted like 'the bins', no other way to describe it. We couldn't eat them. Slightly fishy, ashy, 'bin smell' taste.

Moved into a new estate in Lingfield where the postcode is new. Saw a neighbour two days ago receive a Dominos delivery from the East Grinstead Branch (3miles away). I phoned the branch, earlier on the in the day to confirm that they could deliver to our address & that they’re doing the 50% off deal if spending over £30 and they confirmed. I’ve called up an hour later to be told no they don’t deliver to our address and argued down the phone to then be hung up on. Our neighbour confirmed that the manager of the branch knew the address hence why they had a delivery. We even had a dominos leaflet through the door yesterday!!!

Delivery order was late, driver went back to dominos because he didn’t ring the bell and thought no one is home, came back and left the food on the ground and was arguing there isn’t a bell when my partner showed him the buzzer works. Quality of the food is good.

They have forgotten one of my toppings 3 times in a row :(

I received my order this evening really quick and everything was good apart from my pizza. I order the limited edition hot American hot dog. All I asked was for the red onions to be removed which they did but they also removed the mustard mayo. I've tried calling but I'm getting no answer.

Person on the phone didn’t know what they were doing. I was told the delivery would be 1hour and it was 30 mins so we weren’t home on time. We were told they deliver to my address and when I called again they said they didn’t.

I ordered a piza without cheese, but it was made with cheese.

Every time i order. Its wrong. Its only a small issue but every time! And then tonight the driver lied as to why the order was wrong and then short changed me.

Mucked up my order and gave it to someone else so I had to sit around to half an hour for them to sort it out. Not offered anything to say sorry.

I usually visit this Domino's for collection and use the offer in Three's Wuntu app. Too often I turn up to collect my order and find that there is no one in sight. I have to call out to get attention and hope that someone hears. The food is usually of a good quality and orders as expected.

They didn't get my order correct too busy nattering to each other. Had to wait for the correct order.

I went to collect last night and left my purse on the side no one stopped me they watch me leave my wallet and I purposely left £60 in there I bet that's gone , just going to collect it now o no I'm not I'll have to wait till 11 thanks Dick heads

Just trying to order some pizza but rude staff hung up a few times and we were genuinely trying to order. Btw her name was Shelly in East Grinstead.

Good pizza but the wait time is just too long, shortest its been was 45 minutes but usually takes about an 1hr to 1:30hrs to deliver, also on the expensive side.

Sent 1 out for delivery so had to remake. One pizza fresh the other kept warm and was soggy emailed but no reply.

Slow delivery, missing pizza and the store would not pick up the phone.

The only understanding is Erwan he is great and alsospeaks french he is easy to talk to and understandable pizza is average and pricey but the deals they do our good

Awful awful awful!!! Pizza turned up battered ... not like the fish and chips kind of battered (which is what I should of ordered instead of Dominos) cookies where burnt ! I called them up and was happy to resend me some new cookies which turned up uncooked, so uncooked I could of rolled them up and cooked them myself! One extreme to the other! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Changed my orders many times and always been helpful and fast to deliver.

Never had a problem before until now. I ordered a personal pizza a side and a big pot of dip with cookies to finish. When I got my food the side was very hot whilst the pizza was barely warm. The dip was not the dip I ordered and the cookies were a tad burnt. Was not impressed. To qualify for delivery you have to order over a certain amount hence why I ordered the side and dessert and for it to come the way it did I'm not happy

It seems the online ordering system adds 2 hours to your selected delivery window to "account for how busy they are". Ordered a pizza at 5:45pm (delivery for 7:30pm) called at 19:50pm, told it would be ready at 9:30pm!!! No mention of this online. This branch is utterly useless. Do yourself a favour - save the hassle and go to Pizza Hut on London Road. If I could do half a star I would.

I never leave reviews. Ever. But to be honest the service received last night by Dominoes East Grinstead was totally unacceptable. Long story short, last night was the first takeout pizza I've had in a long time. We ordered our pizza, £27 worth, at 8:20pm. On a Friday night, I expect to wait a good hour or so for pizza, as it's a busy night, no issue at all. By an hour and a half we were starting to get a bit hungry so I decided to call, to check if it was out for delivery or if there was some sort of delay. I kid you not, I rang 39 times. No answer. Busy. Or would be answered and disconnected straight away. Eventually after almost 2 hours I was answered. Spoke to a polite dude who said they had been very busy but the pizza was due anytime. And if it wasn't we would get a refund. No problems I thought. Busy night. Short staffed. Fair play! 10 minutes...15 minutes...and the endless phone calls start again! By now, I'm fuming...."hangry" if you will! Our pizza eventually arrived.....stone cold. And I mean cold. Called again, asked for replacement food, and a refund. Well it's now 13.5 hours On...and I'm still waiting for the replacement food. The refund, I'm told will be there in a few days. I've always worked in customer service. I understand queues, agrieved customers, etc. But there was no communication, no apology, nothing. I won't be ordering from there again. It isn't cheap, and I expect a hot takeaway! Always enjoyed a pepperoni passion. What a shame

Absolutely useless delivered cold and with no drink. Delivery driver shrugged shoulders and walked off. Hsve been trying to call them for half an hour but no one answers the phone.

This is by far the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life, I am so happy to have found this little shop and hope it grows into something big in the future, 8/8 - IGN

Fast food what a joke ordered food said it had been delivered called the store to be fobbed off I have used Dominos for years and this store is by far the worse the attitude of the staff is your being a pest by chasing food you have paid for

I've ordered a few times online from this store and every time it has taken well over the norm for my order to arrive. I am typing this as I wait for my latest order (almost an hour). I've just phoned them. They won't be getting a tip and next time I'll use Pizza Hut. Not good.

This store has seriously gone down hill since Steve and becks left years ago. Ordered a pizza half was tuna and sweetcorn, there was literally a sprinkling of tuna, ordered double decadence Base (£2.50 extra) where's the liquid cheese??? Its just 2 thin crust bases glued together with a drop of cheese, then to top it off I get someone's eyelash on my pizza!! The price of dominos is extortionate for what you get. Didn't mind paying the price when the pizza was actually any good!

Pitiful. Wait for well over an hour for a cold pizza. No one even answered the phone when I called to complain. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely shocking! With the arrival of Pizza Hut into East Grinstead, I sincerely hope Dominos gets taken out of business. No communication, complete lack of responsibility and late every single time...even on a Monday evening!

Ordered a pizza online for collection waited 30 mins till we went in, got there... sorry don't seem to have you on our system, then blanks us and walks away. Then someone else asks us, finds us on the system. Says ten mins waiting 20 ask where it is ten more mins. We waited 5 then get told 15 mins, we got annoyed so asked to get it delivered got told we would get half price voucher etc pizza arrived... warmish.... then we got a 5 pound off apology voucher through the post a few weeks later. Terrible service. Average iq in this place makes the nursery kids look like Stephen hawkings. Don't recommend.

Appalling service I live local to this one within 5 minutes of walking and took over an hour to deliver 3 bottles of coke and 2 tubs of ice cream every time I have ordered they have either got something wrong forgot something or has taken ages to get delivered

very unhappy with the service this evening (i will point out i have ordered here many times and never had a problem) however this evening i ordered a pizza online asking for pineapple and it arrived with tomato. i am allergic to tomato so called and complained asking them to resend it. it is now an hour later, my family have all eaten their pizza and i am still waiting for it to arrive. very unhappy and evening has been ruined :(

We ordered 2 large pizza's on bank holiday Monday 26.5.14. I was disappointed with my Texan BBQ as it had very little topping and I actually counted 3 pieces which had no chicken on them at all. My husband said his mighty meaty was ok but there was a sour after taste from the dough at the end of eating a slice. Over all not what I remember ( have not had one in about 5 months) Domino's quality and flavour to be. Will probably be longer now before we decide to try again. Rebecca and Don Park.
