Domino's Pizza in Southampton

Ordered pizza for collection over the phone. When I reached they said its in the oven. After 10 mins they said, did you order here or somewhere else, I rang the last number and it was ringing there. Then the staff said his colleague didn't give the correct price so didn't put the order. Lies after lies. Very unprofessional management and staff. This shop and staff will need to get atleast a minimum training or they will bring the Dominos brand down. I would say any corner shop guys will behave much better than these Dominos staff at The Avenue Southampton. Avoid Avoid Avoid. These lot will spoil everything.

Always a nice pizza. They do good deals if you collect e.g. buy one get one free, but even if order by phone/online to collect, there is still often a wait (I think they prioritise deliveries first), but given the 50% discount and fact the pizzas are always nice it's okay.

No words needed really, but Tripsdvisor says I have to. Pizza was fabulous, not for my waste line, but it was good. The driver didn’t seem to understand much, but he delivered a hot pizza, to the right person, at the right time. I’m not sure I could do that in his country! In fact I couldn’t! All in all very good thanks.

Staying in the hotel opposite, so popped over to grab a pizza. Wasn't sure if they accepted walk ins because of COVID,but we were greeted with big smiles from the team and welconed in. The extremly helpful guy at the counter explained that they did not have a menu for us to look at, but he carefully went through our options once we gave him an idea of the toppings we like and guided us to our perfect choices. We came back in 20 minutes and our pizzas were waiting for us. The young man then politely asked me to go to the counter so he could pass the pizzas to me. Can't fault this place for its amazing staff, from the guy on the counter, smiling polite staff inside and happy drivers outside. Well done Dominos on your staff training, especially in these difficult times. By the way, the pizzas were delicous. Highly recommend Jane and Sue

I made a mistake with my order this evening, so I called the store and Sean was absolutely fantastic, he could not have been more helpful.

Could not get out of our (Travelodge) hotel due to a broken lift. Domino's was luckily across the road and since I could manage the stairs in the hotel we both tried their £5 meal deal. Personal pizza, drink and wedges for a fiver was a great deal. Many thanks

I think Dominos is a bit on the expensive side but that said, if they have an offer on it’s not too bad. Delicious pizza and really quick service when collecting or being delivered. I have always found staff in store and delivering to be friendly.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Customer service appalling ordered a delivery and went outside to collect it. On app it said pizza had been delivered so we called up saying we had not received our order. Dominos said that it had been delivered to two people (men) when in fact the order was under a girls name! I do not know who these people are that took our pizza and after claiming this dominos then went on to say they cannot do anything because they have made the pizza and its been delivered. Ok the pizza was delivered BUT NOT TO THE PEROSN WHO ORDERED BUT TO TWO RANDOM STRANGERS! what is the point of paying for a pizza when dominos are just GIVING YOUR ORDER TO ANYONE because they can't be bothered to check to see if its the correct person. Complete laziness. we did not get our order, we did not get our money back so if you want to receive a pizza you have PAID FOR don't go here!

I have got deliveries from here a few times, usually very efficient and quick. Had a recent encounter though where the delivery driver was quite rude. They were very annoyed with me as I did not answer the phone on their arrival, which was not my fault as for some reason the call never came through on my phone. I was probably only about 2 minutes late at most collecting it, but they firmly said something about leaving when no one answers the phone, despite me already having paid for the food. I could understand their annoyance but found this attitude very unprofessional. Despite this, good service and good food.

Across from our hotel, it was so busy. We walked over to pick up our order and they gave us a free pizza because they were so busy they didn't have a free deliveryman. Had Tandoori pizza and Arugula (rocket ) on an Italian pizza. Not the world's best pizza, but convenient and fresh and cheap.

Review based on years of ordering... Where do I start? I’m a regular customer at Domino’s and the pizza is probably the most expensive on the market, so I expect a bit of quality when I am ordering it. Starters: - Dough Balls: Often dry, cheeseless and overcooked. - Garlic Pizza Bread: Nearly always disproportioned cheese, mostly undercooked and like it has been slapped around. When complained I got “I made it myself, mate.” Pizza: - Margarita: Probably the only pizza they don’t mess up, although, have had several burnt pizzas followed up by a terrible manager attitude due to constant complaints. - Pepperoni Pizza: This pizza is always a hit and miss, sometimes it will be cooked perfectly and then other times it will be completely overcooked, dry and tasteless. Overall: Whoever is in charge of quality control shouldn’t be working at this place anymore, I honestly couldn’t get through to them after so many complaints. They just assume I am doing it for free pizza, which is wrong.

The driver couldn't find the house, even 'thou I order from this place frequently, but that's ok, it happens. I called the store, the guy told me my phone number was wrong and the driver couldn't contact me. Fact, my number is the same as it always been and I have spoken to drivers before, never an issue. I corrected him, he abruptly ended the conversation with "your number is wrong and that's it". I was comprehensive and it's a shame they don't record calls. Left a complaint with Domino's costumer service. While the pizza are good, great actually, whenever something goes wrong, don't expect to be greeted with a patience, even when the issue its not your fault.

My partner and I had 2 fantastic pizzas from here for our tea that we took back to the local travelodge we stayed in. Absolutely delicious and at a great price.

We found this on our way out of Southampton as needed food. Hubby went on to order & a male member of staff was really rude to a female member of staff as the order wasn't right (something to do with the till I think). The poor girl didn't look happy & not surprised as she was humiliated in front of customers,My hubby kept reassuring the girl that everything was ok & can be sorted.She obviously lacked good training & was by the sound of it quite new. In this case the staff member who was rude to her should be helping her not humiliating her in front of customers. Now to the food. The pizzas & chicken were very hot & were really good.we got a margarita & a veggie deluxe. Would I use here again if I lived there or ever visited again I'm not sure but only because of that member of staff.

Pedí de esta particular dominos no hace mucho tiempo con mi novio. Cuando ordene de dominos ver siempre en la primera porque puede ofertas normalmente para conseguir lo que desea y a veces mucho más barato con un par de extras.

Never answered the phone.....very very very disappointed! Do not rely on this venue for any late night grub!

We were planning on getting a late night take away. Drove to dominoes after work- they declined to let us order and told us they could not do it despite being open. Bad. We went else where for pizza - lost business !!

Si alguna vez tengo una pizza rápida de entrega, mi pensamiento se dirige al dominó. Yo siempre el orden en línea servicio y entrega siempre ha sido muy precisas y muy rápido. Pizzas de al dominó siempre sabor bastante bueno en comparación con algunos de sus rivales. Me parece que puede ser un poco caro para lo que es, pero si puedes aprovechar ofrece como dos por el precio de uno, o tener dinero en códigos, son asequibles como regalo ocasional.

I have ordered pizza for delivery twice and never arrived in both cases. Always the same excuse, they supposed to call me and I didn't pick up the phone. The call me for what????? They had my address and everything else. The worse bit, not even a word of apology. Outrageous! I know it is just a pizza shop but what a poor customer service.

I really enjoyed tjhis place , Pizza is good and I'm Italian and so I can say it ! The only smll issue is there is no bench or chair outside ..

The pizza delivery is always extremely prompt, and the pizzas themselves are spot on and taste fantastic every time - I've never tasted better pizza. The only thing that puts me off is the price, £19.99 for a large pizza with cheesy stuffed crust seems far too much. However, the bonus is that there are always offers on - tuesday's are usually the best days to order pizza, especially if there are a couple of people ordering as then the price is split.I'd definitely recommend stuffed crust although it's not for everyone, I just feel it gives more depth to the flavour and gives the pizza a lot more substance. I'd also recommend getting the half and half topping if you're torn between toppings - it doesn't cost any more and makes the pizza a lot more interesting!
