Domino's Pizza in Brighton and Hove

Grate pizza 🍕 ok waiting time ordered in store. Staff are a little loud, but I guess they are just excited to make pizza.

Placed an order over the phone (the app wasn't working). The store took payment but nothing arrived. Called 50 mins later to be told they had made an error, cooked the wrong pizza but assured us it was now out for delivery. Another 30 mins pass, nothing. Called back. They have no record of the order and refused to deal with the issue. We called back and asked for the manager who kept us on hold indefinitely, refusingto speak to us. We hung up and kept calling back and for 20 minutes they avoided our call or hung up on us. Finally we spoke to the manager who, sounding irritated as if we were wasting his time and who shouted down the phone "YOU HAVE NO ORDER", despite us telling him we'd paid £35 for it and we had the bank transfer. Eventually he got someone to check receipts and found our payment but then refused to refund us and told us to call a hotline and that it would take 5 days!? 2 hours waiting for our order, took our money, refused to speak to us, no food, now 5 days waiting for a refund. Total nightmare place. Absolute joke of a manager needs some serious customer service training. Avoid this store.

Got dominoes as a treat for my boys and it was cold when we received it I thought it had been cooked pretty cook , woken up with stomach cramps and being sick will never order from here ever again , this is the last thing I ate 🤢🤢

I was genuinely excited to indulge in a cheesy pizza from Domino's Patcham, having heard so much about their supposedly flavorful offerings. However, my experience fell far short of my expectations. The pizza I received had a shockingly scant amount of cheese. It was so sparse that it barely covered the sauce underneath, making each bite feel incomplete and lacking in that comforting, cheesy goodness you anticipate with a Domino's pizza. The lack of cheese not only compromised the texture but also significantly impacted the overall taste. What should have been a delightful blend of flavors turned into an uninspiring, sauce-heavy ordeal. The cheese acts as a binding element that harmonizes all the ingredients, and its absence left the pizza tasting disjointed. It felt like a meal that was built but never fully realized. Considering that cheese is one of the cornerstone ingredients of any good pizza, it was really disappointing to see a brand like Domino's fail in this crucial aspect. I expected a much higher standard, especially from a well-known chain. Unfortunately, it’s a 2-star experience for me.

Never again. Absolute rip off! Itis a takeaway so the atmosphere is not expected. Service was OK, at best. The pizza was ridiculously expensive, in fact it was twice the advertised price. I will not go there again, ever. They had a chance to explain the price and fiddled with the till so a mistake was clearly made, but still overcharged and did not respond to my question properly. I was with an autistic boy who just wanted his pizza and was not capable of understanding why I was trying to delay him getting it so I left it this time, but, as I said, will never pay so much for a takeaway pizza again. I could have had a good sit in meal at an expensive Brighton restaurant for the same price, so Dominos, you have been kicked into touch as far as I am concerned.

Veggie Volcano pizza is actually looking and tasting like a plain cheese and tomato pizza. Nothing volcano about it! See the photo. Spot the toppings...... A few bits of tomato, one bit of jalapeño, a few bits of onion, a few bits of pepper. Tasteless. Nothing Volcano about it.... Won't buy again from here. Not what is described on the ingredients. Expected it to taste of more than cheese and tomato.

I really like this place but this manager harass employee which gets uncomfortable...

Very unprofessional staff. Waited to be served in store and was totally ignored (not even acknowledged as customers) for over 5 minutes so eventually left without ordering! I was with my small grandson and he was extremely disappointed. I intend to write to dominoes headquarters to complain. Dominoes need to train their staff better, or if they have, sack the ones they have got!!!!!

They're a great bunch down there. Sometimes it takes a minute to notice you're there, but I've always been greeted with a smile. The quality control is sometimes a bit off. I've had a pizza replaced because the stuffed crust wasn't up to standard and got the bad one for free! Was great! On the other side I have had the experience of wrong orders. Had half of a wrong delivery, which I went out to switch it myself, Luckily it was just up the road. Did a pick up yesterday and got a hawain pizza without the ham as it worked out cheaper. Got home and found out ham was still on it for what was meant to be a vegetarian pizza. I should check though half my bad. Overall its a dominos pizza but the staff is what makes this one the place I order and collect from.

I got ham in a chicken feast pizza, they said they will re deliver didn't not happen

Awful experience ; never got my food, the driver delivered it to the wrong address, i waited over an hour for my order which I never received. Wasn't offered a refund or replacement order until I asked what was going to be done about the situation in which I was told I'd get a refund and was then hung up on again. This is all after I waited over three hours for an order the other week. Rather appalling I think. Think I'll be using Pappa John's from now on thanks

If you order online and collect can you get pizza for less than half the delivery price. Eg two topping media pizza £6. Delivery double that plus extra £2,delivery charge. If you collect the Pizza is piping hot and scrummy. The service is efficient and ready when they say it will be.

Had quite an unprofessional phone call when I enquired about my delivery (which said it was delivered on the app but hadn't been yet) in which the person on the phone interrupted us and sarcastically said "oh that's so terrible I'm sorry" when we told them that our order hadn't arrived yet. then, one of our sides was undelivered and although they did bring them back and gave us a free drink, they had given us pepperoni twisted dough balls instead of just cheese (which my vegetarian friend ate thinking it was cheese twisted dough balls). i double checked on the app and i had definitely ordered the regular twisted cheese dough balls and not pepperoni. overall, unprofessional and not the best service.

I have not had a dominos for as long as I can remember but decided to have one tonight. I phoned the patcham branch and had the pleasure of talking to to Maud (hope that's the right spelling) And what a delight to talk to someone that is truly passionate about the job that she does. On the phone Maud was polite and courteous but not only that made me laugh ordering coke cola sugar free lol (noone calls it that 🤣) On collection Maud made sure that when she heard I had arrived she came and served me personally even opening the door when I left with my order. Maud made my day today Thank you for making me laugh I really enjoyed meeting you 👍

Frequently botched orders by junior staff. And ohh the spam. Dominos doesn't care about GDPR, it will enlist you without asking and spam ad campaigns from a different number every time so that you can't block it. Never again.

I'm gf and vegan and was told by the lady who served me that I was a bloody nightmare! Not a great pizza offering and the staff weren't exactly helpful!

Ordered online, when it said ready I went to collect it they said it wasn't ready. However their system had told me it was. Bloke suggests I haven't ordered there and that perhaps it's a different store. They are clearly overworked and unable to sustain the pace of orders. Their systems shouldn't put people under this kind of pressure as the failure of the operation throughout was evident. You have a tiny space brimming with stressed out staff. After 10 mins someone finally gave me the Pizza that was right there in front of them the whole time. Unfortunately this is just another example of how modern technology is often a complete let down. Pizza was OK but of course cold. Turns out the reason behind this, after looking at the label on the pizza, was I gave my second name and on the pizza this is replaced by an asterix. Perhaps the staff should be trained to ask what is your first name? Or perhaps just put the full name on the Pizza? Or is GDPR now preventing smooth operation of a Take Away?

Spoke to the manager about an issue regarding one of the delivery drivers, not given one apology, his tone of voice and wording showed non existent care of sympathy. The issue could have been cleared up very quickly by himself had he basically apologised and said he would look into the matter and taken some details to get back to us . The very least this manager should be booked on the next course in customer service don’t have a problem with dominoes food just a couple of staff members really

Didn't take long for the food to be ready there was plenty of choice and was affordable when booked online in advance

I am going to update this review for every useless pizza I get from this place. Its hilariously poor sometimes.

The food is always high quality. I loved Mina’s (the driver’s) service, quick, professional and left a superb impression on me.

Considering the price for these over priced pizzas. You think they would not be shy with the cheese. Plenty of times we only get a sprinkle of cheese. I know we are under a Torie government but this just takes the piss.

Not had a dominoes in ages, always thought it was expensive but you got quality.... walked in, the guy had flu/was ill...sniffing constantly, there were toppings, cheese etc, all over the floor...everywhere, Didn't feel clean at all. Went and brought frozen instead after seeing that...there are better independents about. Dust pan/brush don't go a miss.

Went in to order pizza and was told they were only taking orders for delivery online. They actually refused to take an order from the shop. Staff obviously have issues with wanting to work.

Asda pizza only £3.75 with 4 toppings made to order and 18 mins in the oven.

Ded ting, stood in waiting to order for 10 mins without being served so just called them to order to collect from within their own store to get served. Standard if not better than average food apart from that.

Out of the way of central Brighton, so much easier to get to. Good pizza everytime.

I’m an english student and obviously my english is not perfect, but I’m still able to talk fluently and understand perfectly. Then, I called this domino’s and a girl answered me talking too low, i couldn’t hear her. She started asking my direction and stuff and I asked her to speak louder. Then, all she did was be rude and end the call. And forget about the pizza. Horrible service from this girl. The other staff members i talked to were so nice and I could talk to them perfectly!

So me and my visiting friend ordered a delivery through their website at 2:30 Pm for an arrival time of 6PM. At 6PM the order did not arrive. We decided to call the store and the manager of the store answered. She insulted us down the phone tutting and sighing at us saying that the online system doesn't work that way and the order had just gone into the oven, despite an email receipt informing us otherwise. She then accused us of shouting her and hung up. We then recalled the store where a regular worker picked up as the manager was 'busy' who immediately and effectively addressed the issue and even offered a coupon (discount) for our next purchase, confirming it had just left the store. I have used domino's online multiple times from different stores without any issues. A late order I could forgive, but to be insulted down the phone, falsely accused of harassment and then hung up on by the store manager is not how a professional franchise should manage their customer inquires. I feel deeply sorry for the general employees at this store.

Always a problem with this dominos. Ordered a completely different pizza to whats been delivered with an excuse of ''this is whats come through on the system'' I ordered a standard pizza and recieved a gluten free. Wont bother eating a pizza which will taste like rubber. Someone laughing in the background as attempting to confirm order, and no manager to resolve this in store? Call back in a few days? Wont be ordering again.

Ordered a pick up deal by accident. Tried to ring up and change to delivery. Guy on phone told me I had to collect and even had the cheek to ask why I couldn't. I said I'd pay the extra over the phone. Was told I had to reorder even though food was in the oven..... the most stupid business sense I've ever herd as they have now wasted the whole pizza. 👍 you rolled a 1 on this one dominos.

Don’t order from here if you are hungry... Terrible customer service and unreliable when you order. I have used this dominos multiple times as it’s round the corner. Always seems to be problems and delays with the orders. To give an example, I ordered a pizza at 6pm for delivery at 7.15. When I called at 8.30 they said it would be another 40 minutes... I ended up getting a refund because I’m so hangry now. You wouldn’t think there could be that much you could get wrong cooking a pizza and dropping it off. Apparently in this place there is however. :(

Good Domino's pizza marred by poor service. The delivery driver was unable to find the location (despite us leaving accurate driver instructions and markers clear from the street) I missed his call, the pizza's need redelivering, fair enough. Sadly the attitude of the controller was poor, making demands instead of asking for assistance in completing the task. After standing in the street in the cold, the deliver driver was unapologetic, shrugging that he 'would never have found the place' (NO other courier has had issues). I guess next time i'll have to supply long/lat co-ordinates. . . .

If you want your pizza quick, they're very quick. Everytime I ask for it to be delivered at a certain time however, they always turn up early. This results in the pizza being cold before everyone gets home.

Pretty good, and staff are nice and friendly. My only complaint is they often take ages to deliver. I once had to wait 2 and a half hrs for my food, and I never got an explanation or an apology!

Pizzas are always good. Look out for a deal as they always have a money off deal somewhere

This is just a takeaway location so no eating in at all. Friendly staff and pizza tastes like Domino's should.
