I like the pizza, the service is brilliant and the staff are friendly. The half price offer at the moment means this is the only place I buy pizza from because it's cheaper than my local takeaway. Unfortunately, when the offer stops it'll be the takeaway again because I can't justify £25 for a pizza So make hay while the sun shines

Well it's Domino's! You know what you getting:) very nice and helpful staff and they have the most polite drivers. Never had a cold pizza and delivery is super fast.

Love the warning on the boxes, needs changing to warning flat cold expensive pizza!!!!! I'm getting fed up of spending between £40-£60 for cold pizza. I'll be ordering from a different pizza takeaway in future.

Had a large order delivered on Friday, food quality was horrendous. Pizzas was stale and flat cold, wedges wasn’t cooked on the inside and was also cold. Phoned up and spoke to store manager (Holly) - was rude and spoke over me on the phone. Continuously hung up the phone, and wasn’t able to rectify it. Do not recommend!

I’m a vegetarian, usually can’t grumble but today I had chicken on 1 piece of my pizza. Gross, won’t be ordering again.

Food was quick and hot however, me and partner have been very sick today after eating the meat pizzas last night, I don’t normally like to blame takeaways when it comes to sickness however this is the only thing we have both eaten in the last week that was the exact same thing, my daughter didn’t have any and she’s ok. Both being sick after around 10 hours eating the pizzas. Strange.

We ordered from here last night and it is fair to say it was absolutely dreadful. The pizzas were paper thin and burnt to a crisp and had no substance to them. We spent £37 on 3 pizzas and its fair to say i will never be ordering from here or any domino's again. It might not be the staff fault for the price but these prices are sickening. My MIL who kindly bought the pizzas as a gift for having her over was sadly disappointed when she got her gluten free cremated disappoint. When we received the pizzas i felt guilty because i wasn't aware of the price and when i heard how much it was i was appalled. We would have been better paying a bit more and eating out. Yes of course i did eat the pizza but if that's the first attempt then i'm not going to complain because i doubt it would have been much better. For such a big company it really was the final straw because they are clearly just trying to squeeze profit and cutting back on quality.

Ann the delivery driver at Dominoes is the BEST!!! She's not only polite and friendly she makes sure you get the order ASAP! I've had some drivers who won't come to the address..they'll call me and I have to go to them! Ann will stay on the phone with you until she finds you. The food is alright...gone downhill a little but we are all going through it right now and things aren't easy so I don't want to grumble too much. If you want a fast delivery....Ann's your girl! Enjoy! 🍕🍕edit: QUALITY CHECK..QUALITY CHECK..QUALITY CHECK. Surely this is important? Nooo not at Domino's/Pontefract. This is the FOURTH time one(sometimes more) of the pizzas haven't got the ingredients on that are supposed to be there. Appalled isn't the word. Its not bl**dy cheap either. If they can't understand what you've asked for get someone who can! Losing 4 ⭐️...not that they care or even read these! Spend your money elsewhere.

Took forever for our order to come for work and now my break has ended and I haven’t eaten.

Food was cold, we got a notification to say it’d been delivered 20 minutes before it was (probably to achieve their delivery timescales as promised) rung to find out where it was, they didn’t seem bothered, promised us a call back, which never happened. Driver was clearly underpaid, and overworked. The most expensive pizza and chicken wings around and it was cold, very late, rather dry and miserably delivered. Thank you domino’s pontefract, you are clearly overwhelmed, overworked, underpaid and absolutely not worth patronising again. Please can I have a refund as I work hard and deliver great service to my customers, in order to treat my family to your expensive consumption during these tough times? Thanks, Gary

supposed 50% off for December. 2 pizzas came and one tiny box of 'dough' balls should of had 2 lots of wedged, 2 lots of dough balls with it. One lil box of dough balls came 2 average pizzas came for £35+ with the discount... never again, can get better pizza in Iceland for less than a 5r!! ripped off

Ordered on the just eat and I received a message saying it had been delivered when it hadn't. I ha d to ring up for it to eventually turn up half an hour later. Note to self: never ordering again off the just eat for domino's. The guy who answered the phone though was really nice an d helpful.

Usually pretty good. But, ordered some food at 5.20pm, and still waiting at 7. 20pm! Now realised its not a good idea to get baked before ordering from here, the munchies are unbareable waitin this long. Also ad a hypo due to waiting so long. Thanks domino's!

Great place if you fancy a take out. Pizzas not as good as they used to be(pre covid) and unless you get a deal the prices are quite high. I've watched the Pizzas being made and no care is really taken they just throw it on!. Enjoy!

Slowest Domino's around. Do not order delivery or pickup from this location, you will be waiting over 2 hours for your pizza. I was waiting for 106 minutes in the store (i know this exactly due to the PCN i got from the Farmfoods car park), and while I was there, 17 other people came in looking for their deliveries that hadn't shown up. Don't waste your time or money, go somewhere else.

Usually the food we get from this domino's is great however this time the mozzarella pizza we ordered was more like a tomato bread and the cookies were burnt... not what you expect when paying £35 for a takeaway.

Don't ever collect from Domino's Pontefract as they will send you a 100 pound parking fine. Domino's is dead to me

RIDICULOUS! Ordered 2 pizzas from domino's received neither, I had to fill in the support form as they were not answering the shop phone and only received an automated response with no refund in site for at least 5 days. Disgracefull.

We have just had pizza from domino's pontefract our daughter has coeliac so ordered gluten free pepperoni pizza when it arrived she was looking forward to it as pizza is difficult to find, but it was awful burnt underneath and not even any taste from the pepperoni went in bin

Horrific service - I’d have rated 0 if I was allowed. The restaurant app changed my home address to 2 doors down, even though I’ve an account and ordered regularly. On delivery to the wrong address as confirmed by the home owner, the driver just said well it’s paid for you eat it, as I nipped round to see if they had my food. They were informed by the restaurant to just eat it and they’ll re make the order, which is a lie as they said tough luck - no re make or no refund. Rather than contacting me, which they do before every single delivery to say “if you don’t collect it, it will be an hour”, which is poor in itself, they just said you have it. They almost try to bully you to collect your pizza. They didn’t even try to ring to check. On contacting the restaurant they simply said bad luck, your fault. An absolute joke, I would well avoid this restaurant and order elsewhere, the service is terrible and you don’t get your food. Avoid at all costs.

Sent me the wrong order. With the delay food is cold. Sent the order back. Now waiting for them to send out a fresh order.

Only fault there pizzas don't come in a massive size

Ordered 2 pizzas tonight. On delivery one was very cold and the tomatoes felt icey cold. Not nice at all - tasteless. When contacted the establishment they were very defensive.

I called this branch to ask for a receipt to be emailed to me as it was not given to me upon delivery. A very rude man answered, when asking for a receipt he just grunted at me and hung up. I tried calling back but just rang out.

Every time we have ordered from here we get a phone call 5 minutes later saying “delivery will be longer than expected do you want to collect?” And then food arrives 20 minutes after ordering. When you pay extortionate prices for pizza with free delivery I do not expect to have to be called to collect my food because the owner doesn’t want to pay their delivery staff. The food is ok but toppings and cheese are limited compared to other dominos branches. Seems like the manager is trying to cut corners wherever possible.

Food poisoning waiting to happen

Really poor food and service, I really dislike the excuses "the app is a problem" "the driver is 2 minutes away" Ordered at half 5 but order didn't go through, called them at half 6 and was told the app is having issues, I tried explaining I'd ordered online but it fell on deaf ears. I re-ordered at half 6 after I called and watched the order bot right up to getting a text at 2 minutes to 7 telling me it's on its way. At quarter to 8 we still had nothing. I called again to be told the app was having problems and the driver is 2 minutes away. I live at Ferrybridge so the travel time shouldn't be more than 20 minutes max. It arrived 5 minutes later and was cold. I didn't feel like there was any point in calling again for the order to be re-made and feel like requesting a part refund would be pointless. Definitely not using again 😞

Usually not bad. Not cheap but cheerful. Todays visit was rubbish. Got my usual 50% NHS discount which i can't complain about but they didn't add wedges to my order so had to order them there and pay full price because they couldn't add them to the same order? Ten minute wait. Asked for food already made to be kept under lights 3 times and ignored each time. Forgot my big dip so had to ask for that. Got home and surprise surprise it was flat cold

Terrible pizza, Terrible customer service. Wrong pizza delivered and dominos blamed it on the sytem. Full sugar coke delivered instead of sugar free. I will never use dominos again. Meal time has been ruined by dominos pontefract. Dominos made absolutely no effort to correct the mistake.

First time ordering in a long time and dont think I will be doing so again. Waited almost an hour and a half for delivery for the food to turn up flat cold. We rang up and asked for them to send out the order again which took another 30 minutes. When the food arrived the nachos were burnt and not really edible and the pizza wasnt stuffed crust even though I paid an extra £3 for it. Didnt ring up to complain again as I originally ordered at 10.30 and it's now nearly 1am and its just not worth it, really not happy with service, however the delivery drivers were great.

Ordered around 6:30pm and pizza arrived within half and hour and piping hot which was great. As per the pizza quality however this was not great, we ordered three pizzas with different bases and they were all the same. The toppings were minimal and each pizza had a two inch crust! Leaving very little actual pizza. Defo cutting some corners with their ingredients. This was our first dominos since before lockdown and it has defo gone down hill abit quality wise since last time we ordered.

I order from this place most weeks and today they got it wrong, 1 item wrong and 2 items missing. They apologised and 15-20 minutes later they delivered the missing items, hot and delicious!

Absolutely pathetic. 3 hours. Yep, really. 3 hours for a professional, nationwide, pizzeria to send 1 pizza 2 miles down the road. Granted, they took responsibility and sorted it, and gave us a free deal next time but come on. Really? It's not like they've just opened and don't know what they're doing. Or don't they? Maybe that's it.

Feeling a little lazy we ordered Dominos as we’ve not eaten it for a while. The link they send on the email showing the progress of your pizza was great. We we’re able to benefit from the pizza BOGOFF with buy one large and enjoy another free. 2 large pizzas ordered and delivered within 30 minutes was really impressive. As always the pizza was lovely with the leftovers just as nice the next day. Brilliant service and lovely food.

If you are struggling to meet the requirements of your customers just let them know when they order, doesn’t matter whether it’s online or not! Give them a call, tell them it’ll take longer! Order took over 1hr to get here, was cold when it arrived, but not as cold as the “computer says no” attitude of the incompetent, untrained poor souls that are working there. Learn how to deal with issues, manage customer expectations and apologise without being rude, Jesus Christ......... makes faulty towers look like Microsoft! What corporate brand would put up with having more 1 star reviews than 5????? Dominos need to get a grip on this site immediately

Worst service ever. Really rude staff, especially young girl who answers the phone, incompetent drivers who don't speak hardly any English and get lost every time without fail. Food, if you're lucky enough to get it, is usually burnt and tasteless. Will be avoiding this place in future 👎

EXCELLENT SERVICE EVERY TIME, PIZZAS ARE ALWAYS HOT AND ON TIME!

So i had my £22 pizza delivered and it turned up balder that Matt Lucas, half the toppings on the pizza were simply not there, im not sure what kind of incompetent chimp has managed to only top half a pizza and not notice. And i can only imagine that the 'quality check' was carried out by Ray Charles. Whenever you call up you just get attitude and not the level of service you would expect from the price you pay. They have had alot of business from me and more often than not there is something wrong but this is just stupid. I have been to pizza places at 2AM where the staff are more dunk than me and i have never had half my pizza toppings missing. I doubt dominos reads the reviews about their very poor performing pontefract franchise but i will be letting their head office know just how bad things are over there

Horrible customer service, order is nearly 1 hour late never order again

Food is nicely cooked just always get order wrong asked for half and half pizza with no jalapenos they put them on my daugther couldnt even eat any of it asked for stuff crust was just normal wanted bbq base just sent normal annoying when pay over 30 pound nd none of order right.

Ordered cheese and tomato amongst others she missed it off the order and charged me more then told me she was charging me 9.99 because it has no toppings so I can't have a 5.99 deal even though it has less toppings. Idiots!!!

This dominos used to be fantastic. Past few times Iv ordered there’s been nothing but problems. forgetting items, not having the items but still showing as available on the app. When you order something you expect to see the items you order. On the order Iv just received, I ordered cinnamon dippers. Which was delivered without the dip. I rang up to see if there’s any chance of having one delivered because without the dip it’s simply bread, cinnamon and sugar. However they were out of stock on the dip. usually you’d expect a phone call when an items out of stock. This was not the case and all I got offered in return was a code for next time I order for a free dip. The dip will be useless next time, just the same as the staff that work there! Employ some new staff, teach them how to deal with issues/complaints, show them how to pack a bag correctly for delivery. Most importantly upade the app! If there’s a specific product not in a store, make everyone aware of this before taking money for a product that’s not available! Grest customer service is key to running a business, something this store is lacking. Sort it out!!

Worst Domino's franchise I've ever ordered from. They consistently get our order wrong (forgetting drinks, putting wrong items in the order, forgetting the dip for cinni dippers) and the staff are rude and don't know what they're doing. Takes the biscuit when I've now been waiting 5 weeks for them to refund me a payment, and every time I ring they tell me it's sorted and will be in my account in 3-5 days. Still waiting! We've given up on this branch now; we do get pizza takeaway fairly regularly but we've given them too many chances and they consistently mess it up. Won't be ordering again!

Local Domino's for where I live. The staff are great and the food is mostly good, I have had one or two occasions where the order was wrong or the food was cold but overall they do quite well. Sometimes the pizzas are a mess, like they have literally just thrown them together.

Would be a zero... posted a flyer then when I ordered said they were too far away and wouldn't deliver again!!! So rude

Waited 2hrs for delivery, was told it was out for delivery, then 30mins later told it was 5 mins away. Then 20mins later received a call telling me they had just sent it out. Unacceptable. My food turned up 3hrs after the initial order, lukewarm and dry. Disgusted that they lied to me twice and said it was on its way. shocking service.

Absolutely ridiculous! Placed order at 7pm, app said it was delivered and didn't show up for another 20 minutes. Arrived at 8:15pm stone cold! Considering we paid over £31 for it to arrive stone cold is unacceptable. Potato wedges not cooked either. This is not the first time and we definitely won't be ordering any more.

Pizza was ok. I have taken stuffed edge, but it's not worth in my opinion. In general everything according to the time schedule.

Shite!! ordered over 2 hours later still not arrived . Promised a refund never happened! So no pizza and 12 quid for privilege (paid online). Ordered from here it took an hour and half to get to us. I rang them they told me it will be with us in a few minutes. 20 minuets later he arrived at our door with our food and it was flat cold. The delivery driver told us to ring the shop and complain. Not happy with the service at all.

Ordered twice with them, first time was good. Came early and was to a good standard Just ordered a second time and almost 3 hours later pizza isn't here. Called after 2 hours and she said 5 minutes. Called 30 minutes later and the guy said he would call me back when they get in touch with the drivers and I'm sat here waiting after another 30 minutes. Apparently they're swamped due to a rugby game but it doesn't take 3 hours to get this done.
