Domino's Pizza in Wirral

Ordered several pizzas for a party on Saturday. Dan couldn't have been more helpful. We were understandably told that the pizzas would be ready within a 30 minute window but in fact they called me bang on the time we asked for. Piping hot and every last slice was eaten.

Loverly doughy pizzas , garlic cheesey bread and tasty barbecue Chicken wings ! The heswall Dominoes Staff are really friendly and very helpful , and that's why I go back there .

Received extremely poor customer service over the phone from two staff members at Heswall Dominoes on Wednesday night. We had a fault when ordering online and when expressing that over the phone were met with ‘I don’t believe that for a second’. When given to a second member of staff he responded with ‘I don’t know what you want me to do about that’. Needless to say we were very disappointed and shocked with the service we received and will not be ordering again from this branch.

We order a good few times weekly, our autistic son will only eat certain foods, He’s very picky. The pizza has to be cooked how he like's it, When I ring the shop to explain this the staff are brilliant, Many times a week, I ring the shop to say it’s me again after I order online and the service I receive is excellent. Easy to talk to. Lovely staff, and when we called in the shop they are so welcoming. I really can’t thank the Heswall staff enough, The food is beautiful. I’ve seen how clean it is in the shop and that’s very important to us. I fully recommend this domino’s.

Ordered pizza, got a call off them to say they could not find our house!! Been here 2 years never been a problem before with Domino's drivers. The delivery driver Lucy pulls up at our house 40 mins later, I go to the front door and she is driving off!! I call Domino's again and they said they will call her. She comes back, pizza is stone cold. Luckily I put the oven on as I just knew it would be cold. Called Dominos to let them know. They could not care less. Not good service at all.

Super quick service, even at weekends, staff always really friendly. The pizzas are better than Hoylake's too!

Paid £20.49 for pizza, 1.25l fanta and a side order. pizza + side turned up without the fanta. I told the driver I was missing the drink. He said he'd go back and get the fanta I ordered. Around 30 mins later he came back with a 500ml bottle. I told him "I'm sorry but I ordered a 1.25l bottle and you've came back with a 500ml...this isn't what I ordered" Then the driver had the audacity to say: "oh you said you didn't get a bottle. I can't get you the bigger one, the store is closed, bye". You didn't deliver the drink - then when you came back, you STILL didn't deliver the right drink and tried to blame me!! Why not check the order before you set off? Clearly that didn't happen. Twice in a row! Never again.

Turned up with the wrong order. Went back to store. Came back with wrong order. Never again.

I've never known any business of any kind the messes up as often as this one. On this occasion my honey and mustard dip was missing, my pizza base was just white and uncooked and the food was only luke warm probably due to the fact that the moronic driver (according to the tracking app) went about 5 miles in the wrong direction which meant it took forever to get here. This is actually a good day for them because it gets a lot worse believe me.

bro i didn't get my food and i haven't eaten all day man i just wanted my pizza where's my pizza i ordered it so long ago i bet my delivery driver doing wheelies and eating my pizza useless pizza driver

Gluten free pizza BEST I've tasted from any of the Dominoes I've tried in UK and Ireland!!!!

Always speedy, always hot. Friendly staff. Last order was a wrap which was spot on!

Total muck . It cannot be difficult for a specialist pizza company to produce an edible pizza but it was utter muck and went straight in the bin. I wish I had read the other reviews before ordering

I usually love heswall dominos and never had any issues but accidentally ordered from there tonight. As a Student I have two dominos stores saved on the app and I forgot to switch to my uni one. The staff, while I was on the phone to them to cancel my order, laughed at me, mocked me and said how stupid I was. Very disrespectful and down right rude. Sort your staff out.

this is always my go to food place. good price, amazing food absolutely amazing. and delivery is quick.

This place has really gone downhill. The last 3 orders have been incorrect. On 2 occasions the pizza was undercooked. Things have been missing too. I e ordered pizza from here for many years but I will not be using them again. Very difficult to get a refund too.

Hi im a Michelin star chef and I don't normally go for dominoes as I'm not a tramp but to my witty surprise the service was amazing especially Lucas mckendry I went in yhere and shook his hand great guu

Shocking experience Heswall Dominos ordered on line via app what a joke told 25 minutes arrived to collect at 35 minutes to be told another 20 minutes, returned to be told hadn't started. Other clients experiencing same problem. Asked for refund told would take 3 to 5 days. Manager had disappeared into the back left staff at front to deal with the complaints.

Ordered many times from here and never had any problems. Food is quick to arrive and piping hot too and they always get my order right.

Food took over an hour for delivery and was stone cold.. dry cold food that cost £48. Will never order again, and do not recommend..

Oh dear! What has happened to Domino's? The food took over an hour and a half to arrive which I'm fine with if prewarned, it was cold and to add insult to injury we didn't get what we ordered! Strangely enough we won't be ordering again!

Got a big order from domino's pizzas heswall .live in pensby ...it was fantastic .driver delivered it kept his distance I opened the front door he put it all on the step .it was on time. Realy enjoyed it ..the food was lovely & hot ..big thumbs up thank you very much ..

We have all had good pizzas from dominos but I have just had an awful one , truly truly bloody awful . Overall dominos deserve more than 1 star but they deserve less for the drivel they sent me.

Only option that I could have free next time or have them delivered but would be an hour; I said yes I’ll have them delivered as had paid for them already; then nothing turned up! The manager needs a class is customer service; no refunds for something that wasn’t delivered is not acceptable; wouldn’t even speak to me they relayed this through a member if staff; I know how important I am to you now; last time I go to dominos for overpriced pizza and bad service!

5 star food as it should be for the cost.

Wouldn’t let me use my student discount code because apparently it’s not valid but it’s the student discount code from unidays? The guy I spoke to was shockingly rude to me and insisted that Dominos has never accepted discount codes and if I was that worried about saving money then I shouldn’t be spending it on a takeaway.

Disappointing tonight, it’s very hit and miss. Our chicken strips were dry and the pizza was more dough than pizza. Some slices had more crust than cheese & toppings. I’m going to be driving to Neston now as unfortunately it’s worth going out the way driving to another branch. It’s also expensive considering the quality you usually get.

Other than the astronomical prices, the food and service from the Heswall branch has been great for the 20 years or so I have been a customer.

Ordered pizzas online They came out wrong and mostly crust not much topping. The quality of the food that comes out of this store really needs to be looked at. This has happened on more than one occasion.

Just called to order...”sorry were not taking any orders now” what kind of pizza place doesn’t take orders??!!!

So expensive for what is flour and tomato sauce, or bbq as they seem to choose for me. They are tasty, but they always get orders wrong and will often arrive cold if being delivered. They seem to have an obsession with making the pizzas with bbq sauce rather than tomato, no matter how many times I select the red veg.

We have been customers of the branch for many years. The odd hiccup along the way but generally reliable. But .... drastically gone down hill. Have waited for 3 hours for a delivery - 5 phone calls and just lies about whether the order is made/on its way etc. Gave up and asked for a refund in the end. Two very disappointed kids for a treat night. Sad to say that our experience Means we willnever order from here again.

The food at Dominos is great and I couldn't fault it. However, the value for money isn't fantastic which means you couldn't afford to eat like this regularly, but I suppose that's not the point. Still enjoyable for a once in a while treat all the same.

been to domino's a few times now and today i waited for a nearly 20 minutes for a pizza to arrive, it was Luke warm and the pizza was burnt and the potato wedges were cold and i think that the service was awful as the app to track orders is a waste of time and money 12.95 for a luke warm and stone cold food, i will not be ordering from again as the waiting time was a joke why does the app say that the order Is out for delivery when clearly it was just left in the shop to go cold, I think I will be going elsewhere from now on, plus domino's get some bags to keep the food warm and up your game on customer service as the customer is always right

Surprised at the reviews of this place however I always collect either having phoned first or order at the counter and wait. The pizzas are something else. Service is always fast and I can’t fault the place.

The woman wouldn't let my son have his name in the board. That's part of the reason I let him go there because the prices are extortionate

Don't get me wrong I love a good dominoes but I do not care much for this heswall branch. I ordered from here for my order to be wrong when it was delivered and I was unable to eat it that I don't mind every 1 makes mistakes from time to time. When I phoned I was told if I wanted it to be looked at I had to bring it back my self when I explained that I could not as I had a child in bed being the reason I had it delivered in the 1st place I was told that there was no more they could do for me and I would have to keep it then the phone was put down. My point being if you want a dominoes go to the Upton shop. Much better

It's expensive and the taste is like any other, I don't recommend it or advise against it, but I think it should be wow for such prices

We went in and ordered a pizza a have asked for spicy green chillies so they have put so much i could barely eat it! Other than that pizza was nice and crispy. We will go again though

Inicialmente me complace ver el menú extendido de albóndigas y ensalada de mozzarella, sin embargo cuando llegó estaba tan lejos de las imágenes que era cierto. Las albóndigas son demasiado seco para comer (más superficial). La ensalada tenía tres bolas pequeñas de mozzarella y el pan de ajo pizza era más pequeño que mi puño. Para empeorar las cosas, el hombre entrega me la entregaron diciendo "que no venga demasiado cerca tengo gripe" - mientras que entregue mi comida! No higiénica, muy desagradable. A cargo de £12 para esto es una absoluta vergüenza!

Encantadora comida cada vez que orden y los chicos de entrega son amables también. En la casa vivo pasamos 50 libras cada orden y pedimos unos 2 veces por mes y la casa de mi familia también mucho. Una cosa que nos ha decepcionado es que hemos dejado de hacer chorizo. Entiendo que puede no ser tan popular como otros ingredientes, pero esto hizo que nuestra pizza! Sólo deberían reducir lo mucho que pedir si no ir tan rápido como los otros. No tomar en su totalidad.

One star for delivery....food awful worst Pizza ever

Difficult to speak on the phone at times...we have even given up before as the person on the phone either doesn't understand you or asks you to repeat everything 3 times! Quick delivery and good hangover food

Last time I ordered from Domino's in Heswall only half of my order arrived and when I complained, I was told that they wouldn't be delivering the missing food (there was no question it wasn't delivered) and that if I wanted a refund (for the missing food) I would have to go to their shop, despite ordering and paying online

've never had any problems with this Domino's. I've used them fairly regularly over the past 8 years or so. The pizzas are exactly what you'd expect from such an establishment. Whether I've collected or used the app and had delivery, I've not had any issues and the delivery staff are always prompt and pleasant.

A £30 order placed for delivery.An hour later a driver drives past mine so I pop out to find him delivering to the next house."I saw 73A and thought the house next door would be 73B!""No mate "A" and "B" mean flats in the same property...."As I was walking back to mine he shouted "Just be grateful I brought you your food!" Terrible Customer Service!

Sadly, this place does not live up to its other stores. I have been in both for collection and for delivery and on all occasions have been disappointed....to the point of never returning. The dough balls are nice (hence the two stars), but the pizzas are no better than shop bought ones, except being three times the price. Anyone who lives or drinks in Heswall, must have at some point nearly been run over by one of their drivers and the area outside is always a mess. With so much choice in pizza places in Heswall, this is right at the bottom of the list!

We ordered our food through the webpage,pretty straight forward!However...when the food arrived it was the wrong food and it was warm,not red hot as advertised on the TV! Rather than ring the local shop,I sent a detailed email to customer careI still await a reply/apology

Have ordered home delivery on numerous occasions and always had a fantastic meal, whether it just be a pizza or a number of sides. Ordering online is very easy and there's even a pizza tracker....it can sometimes say it's been delivered when it hasn't! The drivers are always friendly and polite. So when getting off the couch doesn't sound good...order a dominos, you won't be disappointed!

As a treat, once a month, my son and I use Dominos in Heswall. I have found the food faultless and the order is always correct and delivered on time. I have found the staff (whether calling in person or by phone) are polite, courteous, friendly, helpful and a delight to deal with.

We where hosting a party and did a £47 order of four large pizzas to get delivered. I understand staff leave and messages get lost but anyway, the order did not arrive. When ringing back we where quoted £59 with a 30% discount (makes no sense).. but again mistakes happen. This was obviously incorrect and we where not happy however it was not our main issue, our issue was with the customer service we recieved . The store manger "Gary" was the rudest, inconsiderate, patronising person i have ever spoken too. I literally could not explain to you how rude this man was to both myself and other members of family. I do no normally write reviews however i have never been as disatisfied of a service than this. Something needs to be adressed about this man answering telephones and being as offensive as he was. Absolute disgrace.

Family visit and we needed to feed a large group so we tried dominos. Good choice, very easy yo book online and then we had an online progress report. Great value for money.
