Domino's Pizza in Dacorum

We have ordered from Domino’s pizza in Berkhamsted high street a few times now to be delivered to our house and the service has been good every time. The pizzas have been good (not THE BEST pizzas but reasonably good) and the delivery has been fast with very friendly courteous delivery staff so we continue to order from Domino’s in Berkhamsted. The reason i have given it 4 stars is because they need to have better value special offers and discount vouchers that work (the £10 voucher i tried to use had too many restrictions and I wasted so much time putting it through that i gave up in the end as nothing was accepted in the offer).

Ordered 2 pizzas and chicken strippers at 9.20pm, following a stressful and lengthy visit to A&E. The app stated delivery within 22-44 minutes. At 10.10pm I checked the app and it showed my food was in quality checking. I messaged the store and almost immediately the status changed to Out For Delivery. We live less than 2 miles and 7 minutes from the store. At 10.40pm I saw a car reverse onto our drive, wait for 20 seconds and then drive off. I called the store to ask where our order was and was informed the driver was outside our house. He wasn’t, and I was. The store called the driver, spoke to him in some unknown language and he was trying to deliver to a house 800 yards away in a completely different postcode. I had to give directions to the store who relayed these onto the driver, whilst standing outside my house with a torch in the pouring rain. I then witnessed him stop outside a house 8 doors away and try to deliver to a neighbour, even though I was shining a torch and waving at him. Eventually he pulled onto my drive at 11pm and it was the same car as 20 minutes earlier. The driver’s English was very limited but he blamed me for having the wrong address on the app despite the fact we must have had 30+ deliveries previously using the app. Of course by this time, 1 hour and 40 minutes after ordering and paying, the pizzas and strippers were cold. I made a complaint to Dominoes head office and also on the feedback request received a couple of days later. I have not heard anything regarding either. Never again.

Whenever we have a movie night we always get in a Dominios pizza. They have never cocked-up an order and its always ready when they say

Said it was delivered over an hour before it was actually delivered. Ended up waiting 2.5+ hours (Called and the lady said 5 minutes but it was 30+ mins) Was cold when it got here

I am filling the 2 hours waiting for my pizza my writing this review!! The app told me it was on its way after 30 minutes. It wasn’t! I rang after 45 minutes, was told it had left 5 minutes before. Almost two hours now, so rang again. Was told the bad weather was a problem! Asked how cold my pizza would be, only to be told it had only just been made, contradicting what I had been told 45 minutes earlier. All of us sat here, starving hungry, with no idea what to believe. NEVER EVER USE THIS PLACE!

Called dominos pizza berkhamsted tonight only to be told from a lady we couldn’t use the emergency services blue light card. Then we called back and spoke to laura who was amazing and told us of course we can use it. 1st class in every way from start to finish very professional in every way . 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Laura 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Late. Cold. Stodgy and bland. Absolute rubbish. Never again. Had to call them twice to chase. At these prices you would at least expect some kind of pretense at providing a decent service. Do not bother ordering anything from these people.

had to wait over an hour and a half for my pizza to be delivered and by the time it got here it was cold. staff on phone were very polite but not very helpful, kept being told 'twenty more minutes' whenever i called.

Genuinely, if you want a delivery from here then make sure you order it approximately 1-2hrs before you actually need it!! Should have learnt the first couple of times I ordered from there when it was between 30mins to an hour late on both occasions but thought I’d give them an opportunity to redeem themselves (the food was luke warm at best on both occasions just to rub salt into the wound)...........today I placed an order online a good 2hrs prior to the time it asked when I wanted it to be delivered and it’s now 45 mins late and still no food! No point in calling to complain because all you get is “we are really busy tonight, the driver is 5 mins away” and it’s highly likely the food hasn’t even left the store yet! Last time I use the Berkhamsted store and a compliant and refund (fingers crossed) will be following. You have been warned.

Never had a problem with dominos! but the way I was spoken to on the phone after waiting 50 minutes for my pizza was absolutely disgusting. He interrupted me throughout the whole phone call! I understand you probably don’t want to be working there and whatever’s caused you to be in a foul mood then I’m sorry! But a little tip for customer service. Be nice it doesn’t take too much! I was just wondering where my pizza was. Note taken to not order from you again :)

Good food and fast service Open till late.staff is very friendly and helpful.very very clean place. Please bring waffles back and also mozzarella sticks

Hi My name is David Houston and my company is 'Drama Impact'. Okay so I really fancied a pizza take out Saturday eve and called in at Domino's Berkhamsted. I am a new potential repeat customer. The female assistant smiled was polite and courteous and efficient. The pizza was ready in ten mins and all was well. Just as I went to fetch it I noticed an advertisement on this inside of the shop door offering a free pizza with every pizza purchased in the shop. "Wow I thought what a great little offer." I mentioned to the same assistant that I had just noticed this offer. She told me it was too late that I should have ordered previously. "Hmm not so great I thought". As I explained I had just read this her expression now changed to one of a negative defensive stance and she told me that "It says it on the door". I didn't particularly want to waste energy and time complaining about this however was trying to make her see that it would have been a considerate gesture to inform me when I placed my order that the chain were offering this excellent offer of a free pizza. She didn't understand why that should be the case at all and so I was unable to make her aware. My point was a simple one. Domino's are offering a fantastic gift to their customers and potential future customers and hope I imagine that we the customer will pass on to our friends and associates this positive message. Like most businesses particularly retail, there is stiff competition. Please staff do not let personal ego get in the way of customer satisfaction. Domino's want to make this special offer just that, special. By being defensive and ego led you are damaging the business, your business. Make your customers want to come back!! It's so important! The pizza was great but this small difference made such a difference to my personal experience. The company invests a great deal of money to get me the customer in through your door, it is your obligation to try and keep me. For Domino's please contact me I can put a programme together to train your staff so you offer not only awesome pizzas but the best service as well. Reading the reviews below sounds like its time for a change!!

So so poor...over an hour late, Luke warm food, manager & staff useless! Collect from Prezzo or Pizza Express instead - it’s worth the effort!

The delivery is now 2 hours late and no indication of when it’s going to get here. The phone is never answered, the online tracker shows nothing, contacting head office says you’ll receive a response in 5 days. In this day and age you really need to go out of your way to communicate this badly with customers. Looking online shows that this is all too common for them. Given this level of service I’ve no idea how dominos is still in business.

yet again order was wrong, before there were minor issues, we are not people to complain, but this evening our order was wrong, and the garlic bread was so dry, we ordered a Pepperoni with extra Pepperoni and Chilli stuffed crust, ended up being as far as we could see just cheese and barbeque sauce, said pepperoni on box, no Chilli stuffed crust, quality checking should check correct pizza is sent out, rang to say order was wrong, said they would send another one out in 20/30 minutes, did not happen, we chased as was getting late, too late to eat, promised a refund, but I will check, then 10 minutes later Pizza arrived, was going to reject, but the delivery guy I???? has delivered before he said just take it, was so apologetic and would have a word, surprisingly it arrived so quickly, but that was not the point don't eat pizza that often was meant to be a treat, delivery staff were A1, the lady and man, but got attitude, from staff, we both made calls, I am more easy going, will try the other places at the moment, one friends say is better

Food turned up late no apology from the driver just attitude,the management have obviously not got a clue and I will never buy another pizza from dominos again, shocking no way to run a business

Horrible! He estado esperando durante una hora y media hasta ahora para mi pizza! He peldaño la tienda dominó hasta dos veces y han sido muy groseros! Al dominó es caro y no nunca me pide de este nuevo servicio porque ha sido horrible.

When i went to dominos the service there was great and the staff where friendly. But most of all the food was brilliant and i have been back time and time again because the food is amazing.

Expect to wait a good 45 minutes... they are never fast! But the pizzas are always good, always the same and always hot... Can't ask for more really.

Don't order from here. A group of us wanted to order pizza and we were declined as they believed it was "fake" and proceeded to swear at my friend down the phone. Unnecessary and rude customer service, we will spend our money elsewhere.

He tenido comida para llevar de este Domino's en varias ocasiones cuando anteriormente vivía en el berkhamsted.

Es un Domino's. Pizzas para llevar tienes decente a un precio decente a la orden con frecuencia entregan ofertas especiales. Pero en Berkhamsted que posiblemente conseguir una más lujosos de calidad esperada de personal. Hay mejores lugares para comer pizza en si tienes tiempo y...

Esperamos durante 1 horas y media para una entrega.!! Nos peldaño 3 veces.! No se disculpó, se quejó a la oficina central, gerente entonces mintió y dijo que lo llamó por teléfono para disculparse, para que él no!! No debe utilizar de nuevo!!

The service is generally reliable and food has arrived within a reasonable time. Pizzas are pretty good.
