The food was amazing staff really friendly the place itself has a really good feel to it my mum me and my sister really enjoyed our lunch. You get a lot of food for a really good price

Went for afternoon tea today for Mother’s Day. An absolutely amazing gluten free afternoon tea, Suzanne came and spoke to me about my meal so I was happy with my options. This filled me with confidence as all the waitresses showed an excellent understanding of cross contamination and my dietary needs. All tasted absolutely amazing. Thankyou dolly’s!

Big thanks to Dolly's for catering my Dad's 80th. Food was delivered to the venue right before it was needed, meaning it was fresh, with the pizza being still warm from the oven. Excellent service and great food. A menu to suit all tastes and a wide selection of drinks both alcohol and alcohol free. The Sunday Roast was fantastic, with a choice of a smaller portion for kids and smaller appetites. My dog was welcomed and offered water and a treat. Really lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming. Can’t praise highly enough ☺️

We had seen a few posts recently on social media so had to try it, We definitely wasn’t disappointed! We had starters, mains and dessert. Halloumi fries and Thai fish cake, both tasted yummy, (mains) as it was Sunday the roast it was. Beef brisket was highly recommended and the beef just fell apart in your mouth, Yorkshire pudding, mash and roasties freshly made and a wide selection on vegetables cooked and seasoned extremely well, to finish we both also had the sticky toffee pudding with custard and again superb. Great selection on the bar and to also add to the place all the staff are so lovely and make sure you have a great experience. This place is a real find that we stumbled across when visiting Darwen. Lovely staff and fabulous reasonably priced good. The cooked breakfast was all quality ingredients that were well prepared. The perfect roast dinner, chicken to die for, delicious gammon. Enjoyed all of the sides throughly. Lovely staff, efficient staff with great service. I have been to Dolly’s several times and whether you want to go with friends, or family this is the perfect spot for breakfast lunch or tea.

Excellent service and food at Dolly’s as always. Friendly staff who always make you feel welcome, especially after a long drive. Dogs made welcome and given treats.

I usually do a cons & pro’s list But no con’s really except perhaps portions too generous (though I now have a smaller appetite & they do offer small portions for a lot of dishes) So to the pros:- Friendly & accommodating staff who work very hard but still remember to check all is well The varied & well priced menu - from breakfast to evening meal (which we had on our first day in Darwen)! As neither of us were particularly hungry hubby opted for the small fish chips & mushy peas which he said was excellent! I asked could I just have a starter & I got - I selected the creamy garlic mushrooms on toast & then added a small portion of chips. Both were lovely. Both meals reasonably priced. We returned for Sunday lunch & opted for the roast pork dinner with seasonal vegetables etc. We also got a bottle of House Red as part of the deal. Overall everything was very nice though for me too much (hubby ate the lot) though I could have opted for the smaller plate. All the vegetables were lovely (though I left my peas & some of my parsnips). Stuffing didn’t look like I expected but pleasantly surprised, mash & roasties gorgeous. I also asked could I have my Yorkshire pudding on a side plate & was happily obliged by server. Again the serving staff & chef I think went above & beyond given that they had a large party of friends holding a baby shower too attend besides us & other diners. We were not forgotten & both server & chef checked we were enjoying. My final comment the house wine was very quaffable & the afternoon tea served too the baby shower party looked lovely. Would definitely visit again if in the area

Beautiful afternoon tea with mum and hubby. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea in the tea room which itself is super cute - ideal venue for a meal or a celebration. We were made to feel really welcome and the food was superb - I’ll deffo be back!

Great value £28 for three courses and entertainment. Could not fault the food, service or entertainment. If you haven’t booked your Christmas party yet check this place out. First Christmas party I’ve been to where we weren’t crammed in like sardines, lots of space to move about and to dance. Lovely hardworking staff too. Particular shout out to Suzanne who worked her socks off.
