Fantastic food great autmosfere

Heard a lot of good things about this pub, so as booking is advised we did ,easy to do and email confirmation. On arrival we were given the reserved table and ordered at bar. The meals arrived in good time and were reasonable quality and quantity for the cost of them. There is a pleasant choice of meals available with many offers for different days. The staff are pleasant and efficient but the actual pub seemed dark and in need of referbishment. Outside a considerable amount of the car parking area was taken up with electric car charging stations and tables and no disabled parking spaces could be found , a necessity for us. I know that this is a very popular pub and busy but sorry Dog and Partridge but something put us off returning, nothing to complain about sadly just one of those things.

The place was busy however service was spot on and all our food came hot and delicious! Staff were pleasant and working hard. The place was clean despite it being extremely busy. We will most certainly be back!

Food was brilliant! Fresh and tasty. Drinks very reasonably priced and service with a smile each time we went to the bar. Looking forward to trying more options from the menu when we return.

Lovely food, fairly cheap and friendly staff

Came here on my birthday last Tuesday with family. Food came on time and staff made us feel welcome especially when they made sure if we are enjoying our food

I had the hunters chicken roll and it was delicious. The whole family enjoyed their meals and the staff were welcoming and very friendly.

Thanks all at the Dog & Partridge yesterday,4th April, was with my elderly parents & family, lovely lunch had by all, only thing was I found myself clearing the table,after we’d finished lunch placing on an empty table behind,& had to go to the bar to request the deserts for the senior meal lunch.The staff were very friendly & the lady behind the bar was extremely busy.A lovely visit,food was great ,prices good too, just clearing the table was an issue,I’ll bring my family back again.

Had a great meal and lovely service. Sam couldn't have been more helpful polite and all together made our celebration all the better

Not the best it was a lot better when I was Assistant manager 25 years ago.

Returned to the dog & partridge due to consistently having wonderful service. Aimee service on the bar was friendly & very accommodating. Despite being busy the food was on the table within the advised time. Sam was very helpful & bubbly personality was infectious. All the staff appear to work very hard & give the dog such an inviting wondeful atmosphere. The food itself has always been amazing.

Lunch meet up, could not decied where to go, eventually deceded on D&P. The place is getting very tired and so in need of a re-vamp. The furnishings are so worn ansmd a bit scruffy. The food is brilliant and reasonable. We all 3 opted for the smaller plate which were 2 courses starter/main or main/sweet. I opted for starter/main the others main/sweet. 2 had the gammon with egg peas and chips. 1 had Sausage and mash. All agreed their meals were good value and tasty. Every table was taken with diners. Well worth a vist for the food. Dont dwell on the surroundings.

Went here to meet up with a work colleague and celebrate her birthday. She had Gammon and I had Sirloin Steak. Both meals were delicious and didn't take too long to arrive. This is one of the best steaks I've had and I am super fussy! I will definitely return here with my family, in the future.

This is the second time I have eaten here and for the past few weeks they are saying that they are having electrical problems and half the menu is not available and the only dessert you can have is ice cream. Cheap and cheerful but not appetizing, who has Chicken with Diane sauce, it strikes me as a weird combination doesn't taste that great! Will not be going again!

Table for four , very busy , visited between 1200 and 1330 Food was fantastic , we all had burgers which were good quality and a good choice of options, , which didn't disappoint , good quality food , staff were friendly and courteous, , we visited from bolton , greater manchester , and we will return again .

We’ve been here a few times but not had food before. It was my oldest brothers 65th birthday so my sister in law booked a large table for lunch. The staff are all brilliant and very welcoming. The table was ready on our slightly early arrival. Drinks are very reasonable and there is a wide variety of lagers and beers. The food was hot, very tasty and all plates were served at the same time so we could all eat together. The price was amazingly great value for money. We will definitely return due to not only the reasons above but it’s super dog friendly too

Breakfast with the Grinch was amazing. The food was lovely as were the staff and the kids loves seeing the Grinch. We can’t wait to come back for the event next year. We’ll also 100% be back for food through the year as we were really impressed with the food and service

we came for a pre booked themed 'breakfast with the grinch' today. the experience was fabulous, lots of fun and very well done! excellent value, £8 per child for a fukl English breakfast, time with the grinch, a gift each and a drink. colouring on the table also. £10 for adult breakfast and drink which we felt was slightly on the higher price for the quality of the food and normal menu pricing (i think it would have been priced better to have included the drink), but overall this had been a wonderful experience and very enjoyable! will defo come again - thank you.

Great pub, live entertainment, good grub, good atmosphere, good selection of beers on tap. Also serving hot mulled wine for the festive season.

The menu has some good offers and the service was exceptionally good.

Lovely meal good atmosphere brilliant service.

Sat at a dirty sticky table, placed order and waited 45 minutes, only to be met with a very inedible meal. My cheese pie was so dark and dry, looks like it was overcooked and either shoved back in the oven to heat up or possibly microwaved, it was vile. To say we were disgusted is an understatement. No cutlery or condiments, had to ask. Was given cutlery, no napkins and dirty condiment containers. We came the year before and was really nice, but has seriously gone downhill. The place was really run down, plaster and paint coming off walls, terrible service, floors filthy, we had a fork and several chips and other bits of food under the table. Will never go back again.

The best place, I’ve been coming here for about 5 years, can’t say a bad word! They done a brilliant event for the kids for Halloween and can’t wait for Christmas too.

Nice pub with good food which I thought was value for money and they have different deals on the menu. I only gave you 3 stars because I work in the industry and mistakes are made I didn't want to draw the attention to details of my glass had lipstick on some of the cutlery wasn't clean and the table wasn't cleaned properly I know when you are busy thing get missed.

Came here for the first time on monday and the service from the 2 brown hair girls working was exceptional. Food was piping hot and quick, very good value for money azwell. Will defo be returning and recommending here

Sports bar so football and sports played on TVs quite loudly (pro for some con for others). Food was "fine" but could tell most items were frozen. Microwave mash aunt bessies gravy but priced well

What a great pub went yesterday for the bare music festival it was busy busy great time was had by all. The staff worked really hard would be great if they had some more outside venues in the summer months what an afternoon.

Swift, friendly and efficient service. Good choice at the bar and extensive menu, had a kebab flatbread and friend corned beef hash pie, very fresh tasty and good value.

Heaving with good atmosphere.....

Good pub food. Very reasonably priced. Worth booking in advance at the weekend as it gets very busy. I have only rated the atmosphere 4 stars as we were seated behind a large group who were very loud and swearing. In our party, we had a gentleman with a hearing impairment who used a hearing aid. He was struggling to hear us due to the noise from the large group. I asked the staff if we could move tables. They did allow us to swap although it did take quite a lot of persuading and we had to vacate the table half an hour before the next party were booked in. (Which we did.)

We are regular visitors to Morecambe and have eaten at the Dog and Partridge many times over the years. The pub is very well used and obviously popular. Unfortunately, this means it does look a bit "rough around the edges" and is probably due a tidy up here and there. There was an hour long wait for the food, which we were warned about. I found the menu a bit tricky to navigate, but that is just me. For basic pub grub, I just want to choose, point and order. The burgers, for example, we're "2 items from this" and "choose any 3 items from this". I went for the scampi and chips which were only "alright". The staff were all friendly and service was swift. I think next time we visit Morecambe, we'll try somewhere else. The car park is small and fills up quickly. There is a ramp at the side door for wheelchairs although the interior is cramped, so booking ahead would be essential. The pub ground floor has a step down to the dining room, although there are plenty of tables in the main part of the pub.

Over an hour wait for food on a week day afternoon, long wait at bar to be served. Thanks but no thanks.

Always love visiting the D&P. I had the curry from the two for £11.49 menu which was ok. My friend had gammon & eggs which was the better choice

We are staying virtually 5mins away from this pub. It is really busy all afternoon serving meal's until 9pm. Great menu and good cask ales. We actually had the seniors 2 course meal for £5.95 and it was really good. Plenty of seating inside and out, we just eat there although we're self catering to it's that good 😊

Went in for some food after going to Heysham, staff were very friendly and my food came to the table really quickly, despite it being quite busy.

My friend and I popped in for lunch,served quickly despite it being busy,food very tasty and reasonable.

Love going to the dog and partridge, always a warm welcome, friendly staff, and good food. Plenty of outside space,all areas are kept clean.

Had a long wait for our meal as it was extremely busy, but well worth waiting for. The staff were very pleasant and helpful also good atmosphere!
