I would like to suggest that the person who is slagging off the Doddridge Centre actually visits the place as Carol hasn't been there for a number of months! The staff and volunteers who are there are doing the best that they can and need local support to keep it open.

I was served up some awful excuse of a meal, I don't believe they are using a Trained Cook. I tried to to put a complaint to the Manager Carol Bunyan, who on the phone was obnoxious to me, then put the phone down. According to a Volunteer there she stated Bunyan is the problem, and she is running the Charity into the ground.

Mi primera visita a "relajarse y descansar" fue una agradable sorpresa. Me hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos por el personal amable y disfrutamos de la casa - hornear pasta casera preparada por el Chef Andy encantador. Excelente relación calidad-precio en un ambiente alegre y acogedor.

Came here with a friend at the weekend food was lovely all staff were very welcoming and so nice!! Definitely would recommend and definitely will be returning again :)

8 Cherry Tree LaneMy hubby and I went to sample the new menu, we were not disappointed Hubby had game faggots - what a feast as a starter Mains I had the venison sausages, accompanied by mash kale & a delicious Rich blackberry gravy ‘ ‘stunning’ Hubby had the Game cassoulet - plentiful and tasty with fresh baked bread We were so full could not possibly have room for a pud this time The game and venison is locally sourced from a great supplier The Fat Pheasant Ecton The meal was cooked to perfection by Michelle and beautifully presented - well Done , will defo go back and try the rest on the menu
