Dodam Korea in Islington

It was a pleasure enjoying this new cuisine, I am not a big fun of spicy food but the staff recommended me the best alternatives - The only bad thing was the cleanliness of the toilet

We did a dine-in option. The rice was really very stodgy not sure if it was meant to be like this. The main chef did a good job of the crispy chicken wings. Very professional. I have msg allergies so i would not be eating here again . All the time we were there, the takeaway never sopped and it was annoying to be interrupted. The actual place us tiny. I strongly recommend takeaway. The dine in for the price was not justified.

After seeing quite a few deliveroo guys outside this restaurant my wife & I decided to try it. We looked at the menu and thought blimey its s bit pricey £40 dumplings & 2 main meals ! But we thought why not try it. The dumplings where good but £6 ? My sliced rib of beef again quite good but NOT special enough for £14 The wife's seafood broth simply NOT worth the £15 & these "meals" did not include rice so another £6 ? All in all overpriced & HIGHLY disappointed

Really fantastic food. Definitely recommend. Would (strongly) suggest ordering the Korean Pancakes which were delicious. Fast service.

Went for a late dinner last night, service was good, polite and understated. Very broad menu and a number of vegetarian dishes (one of party veggie). The waitress made a recommendation and the food was tasty and nicely seasoned. I had a stew dish with noodles, ham, sausage, cheese and beans, sounds weird but was so lovely and the sauce was delicious. Also a vegetarian dish of noodles with soy and vegetables was very tasty. Portions large too. We also shared a portion of seaweed rolls which were good. Excellent range of Korean beers and drinks. Overall lovely little restaurant

I was staying at the thistle for work and I could smell some amazing smells...eventually I figured they were coming from Dodam and I’m so pleased I found it! It was my first ever experience of Korean food and I have to say it was one of the nicest and freshest Things I’ve ever tasted!! Absolutely beautiful. I travel quite a bit to London for work and not always keen on eating alone, so it was nice to find somewhere quiet! As I’d never had Korean food before I asked for a recommendation from the server! And I also got some seaweed rolls....these were unreal!! I will definitely be returning on my next trip!!

stopped here on the off chance and i must say it was wonderful my neice who has been to korea many times said that is one of the best meals she has had and she is going back on the 28th of september for some more

I don’t know how to describe it if not with the word dream. The food is fantastic, portions are generous and the price is very competitive without impacting the quality. Service is always kind, calm and smiling and not continuously annoying and demanding. We have eaten there many times and have all the intention of continuing. Thanks for everything.
