Dirty floors, disgusting toilets, tables full of dirty plates and food. Lack of choice and expensive. No staff to help, took 10 minutes to get served a cup of coffee. Avoid ☹️

On arriving for a coffee and chill, every free table was covered in dirty cups and plates that hadn't been cleared away. This amounted to at least 20 tables. No sign of staff to clear away and maintain cleanliness. Avoid this place

We have just got back from breakfast with Santa and we had so much fun I wanted to do this straight away as I think we found something rare. We have three children under 5 and what most places seem to have forgotten Dobbies had spot on. What children need and want is time. We got there and they had a relatively small sized group which was perfect as the children all felt special. Breakfast came out very quickly tasted good and could be eaten straight away all very important when you have very little ones. Santa came out and said hello to each child straight away which meant there was no long wait or tears they all got attention quickly and immediately. They had set up a crafting table which was great as all the kids loved making elf masks and Santa came round and spoke to each child several times. He then played games like 'Santa says' and then each child got to go up individually for a present and a photo then they gave plenty of time for family photos. Photos were taken by us and the elves but no 'professional' photo which was great as it was just so inclusive and didn't feel like a money making exercise. Thank you for a very magical morning making memories which is what Christmas is all about.

I would avoid the resturant, last time we went in the summer all of the tables where dirty and had dirty plates on ect, called again at 1.55 after waiting for 10mins in a never ending line ended up with 2 coffees 1 peice of cake which came to 10.89 coffee was cold and undrinkable, and the cake was cheap the worst I have ever tasted it was lotus biscoff, had no flavour what so ever. The table again was dirty and so was the carpet .There is never enough staff 2 people left the line before being served, go to the pub next door or the garden centre down the road I think it's called Pipers much better customer service and a cleaner environment.

Needed to visit Dobbies to make a purchase so thought we would stay for Sunday lunch Very expensive at £12.99 for a cafeteria style roast beef dinner, made up of several items from the freezer and packet gravy. The staff were friendly and kind but service was a bit chaotic with different staff serving hot and cold options. The deli section looked very nice and probably would have been a better option with items being freshly prepared for you. The seating area is in need of a revamp.

Had some toasties. The food was fine. But the cafe was uncomfortably warm with no air movement. I had to buy some fans from The Works. It was almost like we were sat in a giant greenhouse.

Seriously underwhelming! I had a toastie which was underdone, the bread seemed cheap and the ham and cheese tasteless. However at £7.95 not a pricetag that reflected the offering!! The mocha again was lacking in any flavour and very bland. The only saving grace was the raspberry ripple cake. My husband did enjoy the carrot and coriander soup. Although the staff were pleasant and seemed hard working, the floor was full of crumbs and food debris and needed sweeping.

Passing through and stopped for lunch. Chaos and pandemonium at the counter. Some chap who seemed to be in charge has the rest of the staff tripping over each other. The food, well that was a disaster too. I ordered the Steak Pie, was asked if I wanted chips or mash, I asked for mash. My partner ordered the Hunters Chicken. We were given a buzzer and told to sit down. The buzzer buzzed. My Steak Pie arrived upside down (maybe it was antipodean) and I had both chips and mash on the plate. My partner’s Hunters Chicken was bone dry and needed a saw to get through, and, the broccoli was stone cold. We’ve previously used the place for tea/coffee and cakes and all was fine. In future we’ll stick to the tea and cakes.

The centre is a nice place to visit. Expensive. Staff need training to smile and be more friendly with customers. The garden centre is clean apart from caffe. Well laid out. If I had to say anything, it would be expensive, caffe unclean need staffing with friendly staff,

I wanted a cooked breakfast and knew they stopped serving at 11.30. I got there for 11.20 and there was a couple in front of me. They had to have eggs fried for them as they had run out. When they were served I waited my turn only to be left there. The one lady was busy with an order and the other lady (Natasha) walked in and out of the kitchen a few times and filled up a machine with a jug of water. She knew I was waiting as she looked at me. When the other lady eventually came over she said to me this is all we have left, we finish serving at 11.30. I said I’ve been here for almost 10 minutes can’t you get an egg fried? I got my breakfast albeit 1 item short as I didn’t have tomato, mushroom. I had an extra rasher of bacon. My point is breakfast is served until 11.30 everything should be available up until then even if you have to order it and wait for whatever is needed to be cooked. Go early to avoid this disappointing service

The service and was good but a bit pricey for what you get, Doubt if we will return for a meal there for a meal

Took my partner here as part of a celebration and was hoping for a little more than we received. There was very little effort put into the presentation and the sandwiches were just the basics, would have been nice to have had a little luxury for the price but alas not. The scones did actually taste a lot better than they looked and the little chocolate cake pieces were very rich indeed. I did order decaf coffee and vegetarian but my booking was never referenced. Overall, would we do it again, nope and a little overpriced for what it was.

Went to Dobbies for what turned out to be a successful shopping trip, and wanted something to eat and drink. Went to the cafe upstairs and left thinking it was nice. We had a ham and mustard baguette and bacon, cranberry and cheese toastie. Both were full of flavour with ham and bacon that tasted really good. My flat white coffee was one of the best I have had. Well worth a visit if you are in the area and wanting a snack. They also do a small selection of hot foods such as pie and chips or lasagna and have a separate selection of food for the little ones. They are also dog friendly.

I'm choosy about my take-aways, so when I find one that I like I stick to it... and Papa Johns in Codsall does excellent pizzas. I usually collect within 10 minutes of ordering online (via the website because the app is awful) and at most I only have to wait a minute or two for them to come out of the oven. The staff are pleasant and efficient (especially Baaz) and the establishment seems clean and tidy. If I was to offer one minor gripe it's that occasionally the slices aren't cut right through, which is niggling but not a deal-breaker.
