Arrived, for a coffee stop and browse, changed our mind when we seen the cafe, carpet was very dirty and stained, tables not clean, uninviting! Outside plant area, rundown to be honest, no sign of any staff, disappointing visit, such a shame.

We arrived at 1.30pm and the cakes on display all looked shop bought and the price they are charging is shocking! You need to queue in 3 different queues and the service is so slow as not enough staff . Food and hot drinks cold by the time you pay. Seating areas look so run down and not clean!!! The prices they are charging is not on level at all with the quality and service delivered. We will not return and will be cancelling our Dobbies reward card.

On holiday in Scotland and visited Dobbies Stirling for afternoon tea. Living near to London and having had afternoon in various hotels and country houses l can honestly say this is one of the best l have had. The sandwiches were delicious and tasted freshly made, the little dessert and cakes were delicious. Couldn’t manage the scones but the staff offered us a box to take them home. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do more for us. Excellent value too.

The Garden Centre is lovely, the restaurant terrible. I actually made a complaint to head office, this led to a phone call with the restaurant manager. She was somewhat polite but refused to accept anything was wrong with the restaurant and told me lies about what I had observed over many visits. When I said it wasn’t just my opinion, but the consensus of Dobbies reviews, she then said it was the customers fault because they have “unrealistic expectations” of a restaurant like this. It became abundantly clear that she was the cause of the restaurant’s failings. As no good manager would respond like that. I asked to speak to the store manager, as I felt as though the overall store deserves better. She told me they were busy. As asked for a callback, which she agreed to, but it never happened. I suspect the referral was never made. I hope that Dobbies address the issue of the Stirling Restaurant decline. As it is a significant blight on their reputation.

Filthy restaurant, food unpleasant, coffee disgusting undrinkable, have a Dobbies card which is coming up for renewal, I have cancelled the direct debit. Won’t be back.

The food is pretty good but I object to sitting in an establishment and have to talk over barking dogs. I suppose it’s quite nice to take your dog in and the sitting area is separate but if the dog is barking the owners need to leave. It spoiled our lunch.

The food and drink is way over priced and to give you a rough idea a can of juice is £1.75 and a small bottle was £2,20 +. And the food at the very best I could say is average at best and they charge a fortune for it. The only reason I use this resturaunt sometimes is for somewhere to sit while I get my car a valet just outside. I once had a full breakfast here and I couldn't eat half of it as the qaulity was that bad. The shops has all sorts of good stuff in it but again unless you are swimming in cash then you can get the same thing online cheaper

Great stop for a drink and lunch after climbing Ben Lomond. The beer garden view topped it all off. Cheese toastie was nice and the chips too were tasty.

It is with my upmost disappointment that if it weren’t for the price point of the items I would have thought I was in a Tesco cafe.
