Very bad food I ordered chicken burger and the fillet was cold not proper cooked

Very bad experience. Asked for rice box all rice were like left over a day ago .they heat up rice all burn rice taste is very bad today I waste my money on this shop who serve me she was busy on phone call not even listening to customers and look like she was in very bad mood. Last time went to this shop.

Fresh food which is really testy as well as good customer service.. I will recommend Supreme chicken fillet burger with crispy fries.. 😋

The food was quite bland so if your after non spicy fry chicken and burgers this is the place! I have it 3 out of 5 for the food as the spicy burger wasn’t spicy.

Wish I I could give 0 stars. Prices are competitive with rivals but food is below a chippys standard. Could cook better at home. Prices are misleading menu has one price but the store says they updated prices. Peri peri chicken felt like it it was Pigeon food. Paid £8.00 for a small fillet dry no sauce . Knock off mcdonalds fries , rock solid as soon as I walk to car. No salt, no sauce?!! Got a multipack rubicon drink . The drink was the only thing that tasted worth paying for but it shouldn’t have been sold from a multi pack .

I am a regular customer at your Rusholme Caramel Road branch and have been visiting your restaurant approximately two times a day sometimes three. I appreciate the quality of food and service that Dixy has provided in the past. However, I feel compelled to bring to your attention a recurring issue I've encountered with the customer service, particularly regarding phone inquiries. I have attempted to contact the restaurant on numerous occasions, both day and night, without success. This has become a frustrating experience, as I often find myself in a rush and need to place an order promptly. I have also interacted with a specific staff member at the front desk, and I regret to say that the encounters have been less than satisfactory. The individual in question has displayed a level of rudeness and unprofessionalism that is not in line with the positive experiences I have come to expect from Dixy. I have raised my concerns with her about the unresponsiveness to phone calls, but unfortunately, my inquiries were met with dismissive gestures, particularly shrugging of the shoulders. As a loyal customer, these repeated instances have left me disappointed and embarrassed, especially when recommending Dixy to friends and family. I believe that prompt and courteous customer service is crucial for maintaining the reputation of a restaurant, and I sincerely hope that this matter can be addressed promptly. If I could give no star's I would, half the menu was unavailable, kids menu was literally the mini filet in a bun and spicy and only chips as a side. When I asked about it they refused to swap the spicy fillet. food was all brought out wrong and I had to wait 10 minutes for the gravy to come out to only get 1 tub instead of 2. It was filthy from shabby interior to generaly filthy we didn't eat the food in the end and left very disappointed. 4 years ago it was a really good chicken shop ,such a shame. To finish it of the staff couldn't have been less helpful 😕

Oh the corner of what used to be"curry Mile"( now more "sheesha & kobeda mile ") Plenty of space to sit. Very very busy Only one thing lady serving and cleans the tables- very hard work and rushed in her feet but does good job. 2 at the back very busy in the clean cooking area. Meals were surprisingly for dixy quite expensive ( 10% discount to students and key workers for meals only). I went for the 6 chicken pieces and 3 fries for£9.99. £1 for can. They take card, phone, watches payment. Wow...3 huge huge portions of chips. It was at least double to a more than reasonable and triple to an adequate portion. Not oily. Very nice taster and crisp that were amazing. I turned down to have salt. Can ask for sauce you get large tub of sauce. The chicken pieces were really i cannot fault. One was small but had no bone and dense like from a bodybuilder chicken. I usually when famished ( not eaten since 11pm to 1pm next day) early eat at any place 6 chicken pieces and 3 standard size fries. Here i just finished 3.5 pieces with just over 1 portion of chips! I was full. Amazing. Chicken was perfect. Not oily. Succulent. Juicy. Batter was not thick and sugar but thin and delicate with nice taste. Totally yummy For the chicken pieces with friesi totally recommend here. A*

Gave me the worst food poisoning of my life!

i ordered the half chicken and chips and the next day i had the worst food poisoning known to man i was in bed all day sleeping to keep me away from the pain never again

bread was kinda dry but the spicy sauce was immaculate. fries were good because of the seasoning but just tasted like some type of hard deep fried oil

Ordered a fillet burger meal and mix box meal. Food was tasty, very fresh for 11pm. Chips were fresh and crunchy, chicken was tasty. My only gripe was the burger, I asked the guy to add chilli sauce and he added it but no mayo, the chilli sauce was bland. Apart from the special night time passers by, it was good.

This is completely unacceptable  We have rang the business and tried to sort the problem however they constantly give us the same response of blaming it on us.  My little sister now feels sick and is on the verge of vomiting. I am completely sickened and I want to take further action  basically we found a whole bobble of hair inside the food and it was horrible. i highly highly highly recommend that no one ever goes here ever again.

Wouldn't recommend this Franchise. Horrible Franchise on the name of Dixy, charging more than other branches and pathetic services. Filthy, unhygienic way of serving food. Everyone in the staff touches the food inside and at the same time taking cash, serving on the till, touching inside the burger and expecting customers to eat that. Always out of stock on things and take payment and then force you to take alternate options that they are giving. I ordered Mexican burger and I was given quarter slice of onion, quarter slice of tomato inside the burger on the name of " Mexican ", when I questioned, the staff said this is how we serve Mexican. " We are different branch of Dixy" and charge £1 extra on it. Called a few times to Manager to complaint but no response. Wouldn't recommend anyone to waste their money and eat food like this.

Ordered a Mexicano or Mexican burger box meal. It's meant to have Doritoes inside they put a completely different type of crisp inside the burger and only 3 small pieces. Also they put a chunk of onion root in the burger which I already threw out the burger before taking the photo. I phone to complain, phone 3 times no answer. I don't ever give give bad reviews but thus deserves it. What a joke

the delivery was very delayed the food came cold drinks missing i called them to see how long the delivery will take they lied to me saying the driver on the way but it came 1hr 30 mins which was 1am my kids were tired and they fell asleep worst place ever time wasted money wasted 😭

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT EAT HERE...the heaters that they keep the chicken is is on its last legs so tge Chicken is cold . I told them and all they could say was its fraas its fresh...the chicken probably was fresh 3 hours previously.

Chicken was nice and tender. Juicy too. Unfortunately I just wish it was a bit crisper. Chips are amazing. They're actually crispy. My partner certainly liked her chicken sandwich! Decent price. Will come again.

This place has definitely seen better days, I didn't even realise Wilmslow Road had a Dixy's. The guy behind the counter seemed like he wanted to be anywhere but there. We got our food fairly fast but don't think we'd enjoy eating in. But I have to say the food was decent, though.

If it's not family run, I plead the owner to do a staff clear out. No one knows what they're doing. I see kids working at the back sometimes. The last time I went, I asked for a leg and thigh piece, I was given a thigh and breast. So I asked him to make it right, and he replaced the thigh with a leg! Then he tried to serve the thigh that I had just touched Infront of him with my dirty hands. When he replaced the piece for me by threat of speaking to the manager, he slyly tried to take my drink out the bag and not give it back to me. Outrageous. This is the short employee with a foreign accent from an Asian country, short hair, brown complexion, wore a blue t shirt. He's clueless

I am a massive fan of Dixy chicken however my last experience in Rusholme branch was a total disaster. Ordered Mexican burger meal with peri peri wings and gravy. I was really disappointed with the food quality this time. The burger had dry chicken, peri peri wings were swapped with regular soggy sizzler wings which were clearly refried. Fries were cold. Gravy was finished so was offered another soggy refried wing.

Loved dixy.but one less star because chicken was not perfectly fried

It is a small place, but I think I expected more considering Dixy's is a well known name within Manchester. I know it is up to the people managing each shop, but for a busy road, presentation is just as important as the food, which wasn't great.

We go here during our night shift, they are very quick and efficient.

Absolutely terrible service.. When your order is not understood the phone gets dropped on you & very rudely.. Then you call back & the next person does the same.. Complete shambles of customer service.. Will not be using this place again..

The young lady member staff said "your order is ready sir", she was incredibly well mannered and polite, expectational customer service, chicken burger was great.

If you order chicken strips, they will include a complimentary piece of chef’s hair fried within the strip. Disgusting! Owner should reevaluate hygiene standards! Will be reporting to relevant authorities.

Do not go anywhere near this place; got two burgers and chips for £2.50 and got severe food poisoning the day after. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy - protect yourself!

The fries for £1.50 are amazing!
