Well crummy place, the chicken seems dried up and left out for ages, the place looks dirty. Not going back here again.

Its 05/03/2024 1:15am and they close at 2am the man inside with glasses is lazy he dont wanna serve customer hope the manager sees this comment. I can see food ready in the machine to go but he dont wanna serve its a food go to waste poor review on this i will never recommend anyone here because of the service the man shouted its closed he did not bother coming onfront of me rubbish

Real hit and miss with this place

The most bland and unseasoned chicken I have ever tasted. Don't ever order from here

It was Christmas Eve and I’d gotten Covid so I was self isolating instead of visiting family. I checked the KFC website and it said that they close at midnight so I made a plan to finish the work I was doing and then end the day with a Japanese Christmas dinner. I finally have all my videos edited and rendering away and it’s just gone 10pm so I bundle up, mask up and go to find that both KFCs are closed. Christmas ruined Never to fear though, I’m sure there’s another chicken shop nearby, this is London after all. I check Google and see that my closest option, Dixy, has terrible reviews so I walk all the way down to Turnpike Lane looking for an alternative before walking back and resigning myself to my fate. I get in and they’re out of chicken. But if I’m willing to wait 8 minutes, they can whip some up. And so, 8 minutes later, I’m walking home with freshly cooked chicken and hot wings as well as a 7 up that actually has sugar in it. They even let me pay by card. I get home and it’s so greasy that the box has fallen apart and the breading can barely stay on. The chips were crunchy and plentiful, I actually wasn’t able to finish them because there were so many. It was everything I wanted and saved Christmas

Card machine wasn't working for numerous ppl the has the aldacity to go and get cash (verry odd). Won't be coming here again. rude and poor customer service

It is unnecessarily expensive and the employees are normal, there is no problem with that, but why are the prices so high? It is not this high anywhere else, it does not deserve the money paid and I will not lie, I bought from here a few times, there was no problem, but one evening I had a £20 meal for my family and myself. I bought it and the chicken and a few things we ate that evening upset our stomach and my family and I had a stomach ache and nausea that night, so I do not recommend it and homeless people always come in from outside or a man who has used any substance comes and asks for money and the employees do nothing and do not say anything by going here. Don't lose your life and money

Actually can’t believe how good this place is. Hot and fresh chicken at 2am, can’t complain. Veggie options too. Great prices, really quick service. I’ll be back!

The worst chicken shop ever. I bought three pieces of chicken four ribs. Was given only chicken. Was told no thigh chicken when there was that piece available in front of my eyes. Terrible never again

I bought chicken hashbrown fillet burger with chips and kept on biting into the burger I found a hair in my food I'm very disappointed not happy at all.

I was going to The Bob Marley concert Sunday night.got off 329 and thought I should eat something.The shop had prime location. I ordered chicken burger and chips Absolutely disgusting ate two mouthfuls of burger and few chips. I felt dreadful yesterday and think it was the food from there.Do not eat from this shop.Better go hungry.

It was a great place to go to a few years ago. Now quality has dropped and the wings got smaller, drier and harder.

The food gave me food poisoning and I can guarantee because the whole family got it and we went twice the chips are disgusting the chicken was old and dry please just don’t go

By far the most disgusting food I have ever eaten from a chicken shop. Long wait, bad attitude, had to throw away as it was not edible. Please go somewhere else. You will regret it. Absolutely horrible.

what a horrible place, they have the best location next door to Wood Greeen tube station hower food sucks. I ordered a chicken burger meal and 5x hot wings. Burger was like a rock so hard and tough to bite, should of thrown it back maybe not ,might have caused serious damage. chips were drier then the queens downstairs.

Loved the retro seating ! Like an American diner from the '50's, '60's or '70's ! Relaxed & informal, pleasant enough staff, easy going, good for late night munchies, we were on a night walk across part of London ! Next door to Wood Green tube station, on a main junction, which also looks very retro, contemporary curvy style again which I love !

They are serving without gloves, when giving change they just threw it on the counter like they are angry with you. I understand customer service is not easy but why the rudeness for no reason? Dont want to be going back Rubbish customer service

It was fine before but now the chicken tastes old and the chips too oily, just like they never change the oil to fry. The prices too went up. Such a pity.

I went to this pfc with a group of friends. The place was super dirty: the tables and chairs hadn't been cleaned in a while and there were wings and chips on the floor. When we asked for wipes to clean the tables, the cashier decided to get sassy and ask why we would need wipes coz we hadn't ordered yet. The prices seemed quite steep from the beginning however once we got our food we saw that the wings were super tiny. None of the staff were wearing masks or taking any precautions and honestly from how the place was ran, it looked like the staff would pick up the food from the floor and feed it to the next customers at the first chance they got.

We eaten wraps which were to dry, spicy chicken wings were overcooked and felt like cooked in very old oil. Probably never coming back

Place was nice and quiet was able to work there for an hour. Food wasn't bad and it was quick yet wasn't rushed.

Stale bun on the tower burger, chips undercooked and the wings are raw, put that together with the terrible service and theres your 1 star review

Very rude staff , after i pay for my meal of chicken burger and chips for 4 pound if been waiting like 7 to 10 min on not busy time than i say i want my money back please the guy there answer to me why i say cos u serve 4 people before me so please gimme money back. Than before i leave the place he just say IDIOT .... i went back ask him why he call me a idiot he come out ready for fight with one of his friend really dissapointed i will suit him for this :) mean the company

Very dirty people working there, last night I went there n saw 2 customers bought 2 pieces of chickens and some biryani to eat in after a while they came back saying they don't want these pieces of chicken. I saw them already touching these chickens now they are returning this was not a problem. The problem was the guy who was serving them he took these pieces of chickens and put them back instead of throwing them in the bin. Now someone else will buy them without knowing this.. this is a cheating...I will never ever go back there again...Also i saw him putting his hand inside his trouser to scratch then he didn't wash his hand before he serve someone. DISGUSTING SHAME ON THEM!!!!!

The staff there are lazy and rude, I hurt my finger on the bottom of one of the PC seats just as I was trying to adjust the seat level and the staff couldn't care enough to call me an ambulance.

He was very rude and telling off I spend 8 and he was kind of player after said 10 minite ohh really now you paid for it hhhh not nice to speak like that to costomers so I left the shop shaking he stress me no point eating it !! Extremely delicious and properly spicy peri peri chicken at very low prices; they often include extras for free too!

The best chicken wings you could find in London and as I saw a couple of reviews stating bad customer service I would say mate best customer service as I have worked in there all the staff is great and the owner is one gem of a person I have worked for so many years at many different places never met a owner like him Latif sir if you read my review trust me I honestly mean what I am saying you are a lovely person god bless you I will be coming someday to eat the spicy 🌶 wings as they are only available at your Dixy chicken friends do try the spicy 🌶 wings they are extra tasty 😋

Chicken is not expensive but tastes bad, It's probably the worst chicken I have ever taken away. The place is a mess, really dirty, good clean is definitely needed. There is also an internet cafe that can only be accessed through Dixy that probably no one in need in present time of life. The staff asked me 4 times over the counter what I wanted and still gave me something different. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

What can you say. Inexpensive fried chicken that tastes good. Love their hot wings. It's in a very convienent location as well. Never tried their pizza though
