Dixy Chicken in Birmingham

Paid £20 for a raw chicken burger, soggy and tasteless chicken tenders and some bang average chips. Even drunk as a skunk, this was horrifying. Get me back down south where they serve cooked chicken. Venue was big-ish. Not sure if the bright pink chicken comes across on camera. Please give me my £20 back:(

I only ever eat from here when I’m starving and haven’t had time to get any food shopping in my flat. I don’t know what it specifically about the chicken here but it makes me fart like a trooper. I don’t know what they do to the chicken.

Honestly, this is the best chicken I've ever had. It's sad that I live so far away or else I'd be constantly here. All I can do is just dream about it. 😭😭😭

Security guard on doors the best feature, chicken was dry and so small for legs I'm pretty sure I ate pigeon instead of actual chicken. Won't ever come back there

Very poor customer service. Food quality is very low. Very limited options. Complete waste of money. Has plenty of space to sit but nothing else.

These guys were supposed to close at 3:30, but they were so tired from work that at 12:30 they told me they only had spicy wings available, no access to the restroom, and no access to eating the menu in the restaurant, even though the closing time was 3:30.

First time visiting lovely staff. Meal was tasty. Chicken crispy, chips was as I like them. Overall 10/10

Worse experience, they take your money the delivery guy eats it and they turn round and say we can’t give you any details bcoz it’s just eats. Not my problem were their exact words.

I advise all people who go to this restaurant to be careful of some of the workers because they will cheat them with prices.I got £10 for the blogger which is worth £7.50..When a worker finds out you've been drinking too much, he tries to take advantage of you for a lot of money. I feel sorry for that.

I do not joke with anyone coming to this restaurant because the workers are trying to take advantage of you because you drank too much. The worst experience in my life. Beware, my friends. The workers there are not accepting. They try to take advantage of you.

Came in here with a few colleagues after a works do. Food was nice, however, this could of been because I had a few drinks. Atmosphere was very busy with some people messing about. Would go again.

Poor tasteless chicken. The thigh piece I was served had the Parsons Nose (backside) attached! The other pieces weren't much better. The taste left in my mouth from what ever stale oil they cooked it in stayed with me all night. I know it's a late night take away but you have to have standards and fell way below any standards. I guess if you've had a bit a drink, you may not notice this, however, if you want to order from here...DON'T

went there with a friend and literally the worst dixy i have ever been to. the staff was so rude and unfriendly on top of that the food was so dry and cold. everything tasted like it had been left there for days. me and my friend both fell sick after a few mins of having their food would not recommend all absolutely disgusting

I have not received this good and I’ve been waiting since forever , what kind of inefficient service is this . It’s taken over 1 hour already and I paid over 12£ and still not get the food till now and the delivery man have the audacity to say it’s delivered . This is a stain on Justeat integrity if you all let this slide

If you have food allergy they will refuse to serve you, don't seem to happy when asked for allergy list, became quite abusive.. reporting to council for lack of allergin list

Can't complain at the speed of this place. Food was delivered in an instant. Was a decent portion and price and was good tasty chicken. Apparently one of the better Dixy Chicken branches.

Food was good. But the Arabic employee seemed a bit racist. Wanted a burger but instead ordered me a meal. I asked him three times if the price was just for a burger and he has always replied with a yes. Pretended to not understand what I was saying with specific gestures and body language but instead got himself into trouble after a serious conversation.

The staff here certainly know how to cater for the masses. With ample staffing and efficiency the service is amazing. The food is fantastic, can't fault it.

The chicken meals here are more than adequate to provide my weekend catering needs.

Chicken was lovely and you definitely get your monies worth although the one downside is the queuing system leaves alot to be desired as you have people behind getting ushered in front of you as the forks out by the security. In my opinion it needs a rethink.

First time eating in here at dixy chicken was expecting much but the flavour mite and overall taste was really nice surprisingly, price for just the single chicken fillet burger was a bit expensive if you ask me, maybe because its city prices not sure. Seating areas were very messy and not clean & bins were filthy. Could do with some nice seating area and flooring as you walk in as make the place seem run down. The staff took ages to take my order which didn’t seem to bother them. Would return but not to this one !

Tried to report that someone had hacked our just eat and ordered from Dixy Chicken but when we rung the man was extremely rude and refused to help. He refused to stop the order being sent to them despite knowing that they were fraudulent transactions. Disgusting customer service. Don’t order from here.

Very cold. The drink was put in with the fries. And were soggy and wet. Delivery was late. Which made the food cold.

The bad reviews really surprised me because If there was a Dixy awards this place would be #1 winner every time. Always great quality food, quick service and the ladies working here are always friendly and generous with the sauces (which is rare for a dixy!) (Review based on a weekday lunchtime visits.. could be different in evenings as most reviews seem to be)

Worst dixy I have ever seen it was worse sometimes before but today the standard’s was beyond and it wasn’t even 1 in morning it was 7 pm!!!! The cashier was very rude he always been for someone around his age I am surprised! just because I asked him if the wings are freshly made. Because I used to work in dixy! However I ended up ordering a wrap it smells so bad I don’t think they changed the oil for a while! I went back to him and he got the nerve to say it’s fresh! didn’t bother to ask his colleague to make another one neither apologised. Unfortunately had to bin it Never again.

I’m new and a regular to this place . Sometimes I’ve noticed that their chicken is not that warm when I buy on quiet times. Also my child is still hungry after this meal because really the meal deal is very small portion for £5.99 and I think in future I will just try the shops next door or McDonald’s. For that price they should really improve on the portion amount of chicken or add in a burger in the meal. The chicken is good usually though sometimes each piece seems smaller and definitely not filling .

I don’t see any issues with this place. People are so bored with their lives they have to rant about some petty issue with their food. It’s Dixie chicken, not a steak house that sells wagu beef. Honestly, what did you expect? The chicken was tasty. Better than KFC, and cheaper by far.

They are scammers. Don't pay by card. I bought 1 meal for £7.99. And was charged £7.99 for my meal and additional £6 for something I didn't buy.. Be careful ! Will never come back

Order took 25 minutes, when asked where my order was the staff was confused and hadn’t started my order yet, they agreed to add a patty but I requested for it to be placed in another burger and it was agreed by both. When the order arrived 40 minutes later, the staff put the party in the same burger and started raising his voice and arguing I should pay more. Not advisable, very rude and incompetent. Don’t work with costumers if you can’t be patient with people.

I am disgusted by the service of this branch by how I was treated by them but what made it worse is how the beans came spoiled and expired which changed my thoughts completely about this food brand.

Lots of seating here if you want to eat in. I went when there was about two others seated, so definitely not busy. Order took way too long to get ready even though it was a small one. Ordered the sizzler wings and fries. There was nothing sizzling about the wings tbh, but their spicy sauce which is great adds a nice kick. Otherwise, in general, the wings tasted fine. The fries were extremely disappointing though. They were almost raw, as if they had been cooked on a heater.

It was our first time going here and overall it was an okay experience. The customer service and food was good, however we couldn't have the chicken burger we wanted as it wasn't available, we wanted the classic and all they had was the mild spicy one. It was okay but I would have preferred the classic, but the fries were really nice which made up for that. The atmosphere was good with the Christmas decorations and the seating was comfy. Sadly though a homeless person came in harassing us for change that we didn't have, so that wasn't pleasant. I would come back here if they had the classic burger available and something gets done regarding homeless people coming in asking for change.

Their panini is just best. We go there so many times!

Worst Dixy ever hard, wings and burger was frozen cold

After a night out at a concert, went to Dixy Chicken on the way back to the hotel, ordered Sizzling strips, chips and a bottle of water, the guys were efficient and my order was with me in a matter of minutes. I took it to the hotel as I was staying just across the the street. On opening the meal I noticed portion size was pretty good lots of chips and the chicken was a decent size. Chips: most places that you buy these they are pretty greasy or soft and difficult to digest, these where not greasy or soft but were dryer than the Atacama desert had they had some salt on them they may have been less like eating Kindling. Chicken: Much like the chips the moistness of the chicken was non existent as if they had been cooked in a Kiln not a commercial oven I took one bite and then needed a litre of water to revive my esophagus before it closed up forever.

Ordered at 22.39 didn’t receive food till 00.34, the quality was disappointing, chips were hard and cold! No phone call from restaurant explaining lateness and I tried calling them over 10 times and had nothing!! Will not return here again!! Ridiculous

Me and my partner ordered 3 meals and sides we only got one meal 3 fries and 3 cans there was a black curly hair in my chips that put me of the food my partner tried to ring the restaurant and they kept putting the phone down and the chicken was cold and the chips

Ordered Saturday night after a gig with my partner around 11.30-12, waited 15 minutes for the order which was wrong, took it back and was changed. Both of us have had horrendous food poisoning the next day from it, partner is that bad she cant go to work monday (we werent drunk or drinking heavy at all)
