Dixy Chicken in Northampton

Always enjoyed dixy however recently they have been cheeping out massively and quality has dropped. I feel like after introducing their card machine they are really feeling the hit with the tax man. Ordered a mega mix burger meal and it was literally falling apart and the chips were over cooked. They have replaced plastic forks with cheap card 2 tong forks which doesn’t pick up the anything so essentially it’s pointless. They try to charge 50p for a few millilitres of sauce. Just not worth it anymore as the food quality is rubbish now compared to before.

The taste was not good.. I just tried only because I am hungry.. still it's not satisfying. They put sauce and mayonnaise in the same box of chicken and it was leaking everywhere on the table.

Realy nad quality, 45 minutes late, didn't answer the phone...

I bought their double decker burger and chicken wings. The chicken wings is so so tasty, amazing. Definitely going back The burger was nice too

I never have an issue with these lot but recently they’ve been messing up my orders and today was the worst, my chicken was raw and pink on the inside, it had a fishy taste to it so spat it right out and now I feel very weird. Their food usually isn’t bad for example the wings but whatever’s been going on in that shop lately has been putting their service and food quality down big time, I won’t be going there anymore unfortunately.

Rude af wouldn’t refund me for the food that I never got will never be ordering from here again!! Absolutely ridiculous customer service call yourself a restaurant

Went to this Dixy branch and found the chap serving very friendly. The food was ready quick time and it was very nice. I'd definitely go back again.

Ok, forget the 5 seconds rule. If it's on the floor, leave it to the gods of the underworld, but the food is pretty darn good. £7 gets you a double chicken burger + fries + a drink. Ask them for mayo & paprika, don't be shy :)

I wont recommend people to buy food from here I bought 8 chicken burger meals hardly any chips, chicken stinks & salads not fresh at all. When called them it was hard to make them understand rude customer service.

Excellent food with affordable prices. Personal favourite is the chicken burger meal and the piri piri. You can also choose different spices level to accomodate to your preferenc.

Best burger in town. No one can beat the taste of fries 🍟 and burgers 😋 here 😋.

If i can put one - beens was old - smell disgusting- fries no salt and sald so big pice cut I just put just in bin - and chicken could do more cook. I wood not recommend this place at all . And driver was rud and unpleasant

We purchased a meal online from this takeaway and as far as we we’re concerned we’d paid and all was well the food was delivered and very much enjoyed . What we didn’t expect was a knock on or door at 1.30 in the morning from the delivery driver because he’d had the price of our food deducted from his wages and had decided to come to us to get his money back. We had no idea that the online payment hadn’t gone through. Nobody had contacted us from Dixie chicken for payment. I’m disgusted that the delivery man thought it was ok to get me out of bed at 1.30 in the morning. But mostly I’m disgusted that the manager of Dixie chicken thought it was ok to deduct the price of the meal from the delivery man’s wages . Do these people live in the dark ages. Do they know nothing about employment law. I will not be eating from here again if that’s how they treat there staff.

do not enter .enter at own risk.this is the worst place in npton for food . the oil is 4 weeks old .hardly change the oil .chicken is processed .very poor hygiene. rude staff .don't take card only cash . horrible food .its so nasty that you wouldnt wish it to your worst enemies.if you want food poisoning and upset stomach then you should go to dixies

Is there an option to give zero stars, the customer service is so bad, one man who claimed to.l be the manager doesn't even know how to even deal with a complaint, we brought 8 meals and 3 of the meals.had hardly no chips one box had 7 chips in it rang to complain and the so called manager didn't do nothing and said this is how it's done. What rubbish won't be going there ever again. Avoid

We really enjoy the chicken BUT delivery is VERY SLOW. so the food is a little cold. Its a pity because the chicken is tasty especially the sizzler pieces

I ordered food 10:30pm, they said gonna deliver 45 mins they didn't turned up at all neither answered my calls. Very poor customer service. Wasn't able to taste their food would be bad as their customer service. Won't call them again

Overall nothing is good here from foods to customer service I went there with my scooter and they guy told me take out your scooter Bcz it’s my shop I said ok calm down I’m going to take it out and park it outside but his behavior and attitude was really really bad I wish I could’ve leave 0 star not 1 star so honestly I will not recommend it to anyone very very poor and won’t go back forever rude customer service😡

Receive my order half h ago...delivery was very fast and spot on.But sadly all my party bucket had pink raw ish chicken.Im very dissapointed because never had this problem with dixy and i order from them for ages:(sadly o had to bin all my bucket of chicken as im 8 months pregnant and can t eat almost raw chicken...money went to waste

I was trying to order a collection over the phone to save my time, but the guy told me on the phone come and order here. Very rude they will loose a lot of respect and customers in the future.

Soon I enter in shop the guy went back got busy with his phone so was waiting if someone could take my order ..After 5 minute waiting a guy come and toke my order so I ordered peri peri wings portion chips and a drink the fries they serve are awful so I said I can I have pita instead the guy said sorry we can’t change it it was cold and tough fries the wings when they were hot they were good soon they got cold turned in to stones😡😡 I’m very angry I will never ever go to this Dixy again and I will not recommend to anyone. Guys speak to loud in the back so people can’t enjoy their meals.

The best fast food place where you can eat. Staff is very friendly, always they are giving more fries and the burgers are very delicious. I highly recommend 'Double- Decker'. They also have good offer, so don't hesitate to go there.

The food quality was horrible. The chicken smelled do bad and nasty and it wasn’t fresh at all. When it was delivered to me I just opened the box with chicken and because of that stinking meat I didn’t even try and put straight in the bin. The fries had no taste, too oily and cold. Will never order again from Dixy! Doesn’t deserve even 1 star. I would put -1

Food is good but ruined by the fact that I ordered 12 dip tubs with my order but these were not received after waiting an hour more than told the delivery would be, not the first time with Dixy Chicken either, it is a shame though.

My favourite fried chicken place in Northampton. Can be a bit more spicy n hot than KFC but works great for North Indian palate.

The food has been really great , have been eating there for years, unfortunately the food took over an hour and half to be delivered, again, finally got it and was cold, phoned up to say it was cold and then told refund money, but do not phone up anymore as I'm banned, I really don't mind but I have not been rude or abnoxious, but if this is there customer service, they Will loose a lot of respect and customers in the future, a big shame food is awesome

Got my order from Dixy Chicken and pulled nothing but hairs out the chicken phoned up to complain all this said is will sort you out next time didn't offer refund or Nothing bad customer service I would not order from them again

Great fried chicken and chips, however for the value meal and combo box Freddys seems to have cheaper prices for the same quality. In addition, I have experienced problems with the quality of the chips (soggy) when ordering, best to eat in. Perhaps the greatest Peri salt I've tasted though!

This place is terrible. I asked for a meal they gave me a stone cold burger. I asked for them to replace the burger. They but the same cold burger in the microwave for two mins and gave it bk to me. I think the food they have me was someone elses meal that they didnt eat, they resold it on and gave it to me. I will never eat from there again. The coucil is aware of there concuct.

45 minutes late, cold, wasn’t in an insulated bag and was just sitting on back seat of delivery drivers car. I’d have been better off just going hungry than trying to eat the stuff they tried to pass off as food fit for a human. Go somewhere else or just don’t bother at all.

Food arrived 1 hour and 15 minutes late after ringing up twice to see where it was. It was cold when it arrived, needless to say it didn't taste great. No apology given. Was offered some money off for next time. There won't be one.

Ordered from there to be delivered to work. The driver had to ring me to ask where to go. Ordered the classic recipe chicken and threw up. It’s absolutely revolting. The fries were brilliant. They also got my drinks order wrong. Really disappointed.

Value indeed No 9 Slizzer box with 5 chicken wings coated Slizzer sause and chips and can drink all for £3-49 and highly recommend if your in Welly Road and be your first of many!

For the last 2 years We ( me and my husband) have on numerous occasions ordered food with Dixy Chicken. What I can say, it's a inexpensive takeaway and you get what you pay for. The peri peri Chicken is good value for money and very tasty also.

Not sure how they made chicken and onion rings so soggy and tasteless. Dont bother ordering cheesy chips as they just melt a plastic cheese slice on top not proper cheddar as you would expect. Bought me the wrong drink and the chocolate donut was rock hard clearly stale. Overall awful.

Had a mix up with the delivery, but as soon as the problem was noticed they sorted it out really quickly, I'm pretty sure they even buffed up the portion size a bit. Well impressed, will be using again.
