Dixy Chicken in Northampton

Rude! If the guy behind the counter takes the earpod out of his ear, he will be able to hear customers the first time round instead of saying "what do you want!" I Should have walked out there and then. No please, no thank you, no manners or customer service skills. When asked for a napkin, he couldn't even find one! Chicken strips were mediocre, rubbery textured, and the batter was very bland. Despite a recent refit, the eat in area was dirty, with a weird vibe. Won't be visiting again.

Since moving to the area recently we decided to try Dixy Chicken, wow what amazing tasting food and portion sizes are more than enough, the price is spot on and the delivery service was great. Highly recommend trying the Chicken Loaded Fries, large portion and nice and spicy.

Love their affordable burgers. Atmosphere is good you see a lot of customers waiting their orders. But the service is same with the average. For the hygiene i think they need to hire someone to clean the desks coz no one does and other guys are too busy taking orders from offline and over the phone.

Tried donner couple times now! I can say its better than Spice Hut

Food was too oily and the price was high. I would recommend you to have a better option if you search other than this.

Fries was not good at all it was whole day fries and chicken cold and oily

food was all cold when it arrived then when I called they said it couldn't possibly be cold!!! had to really argue to get hot food sent back out and then they collected the cold food so I wouldn't be surprised if it was just re heated and sent out to some other customers. delivery driver called me and expected me to go to his car rather than comming to the door ... will never order again

My burger chips and chicken came in a pizza box and it was all messed up. I want a refund

Unfortunately with little Comms our small order of a couple of chicken wing meals took over 1.5 hours to arrive. Must do better!

was very nice food..but i ordered a drink…and it did not arrive

I scheduled the delivery 2 hours before I wanted it and it was still 45 minutes late. the food came with gravy spilled everywhere so couldn't use that. everything was literally thrown in to one box. it was cold and the chicken was the blandest chicken I have ever tasted.

I had a fantastic experience at this chicken shop! My order arrived earlier than expected, and everything was piping hot and incredibly fresh. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavour. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious chicken and great quality. I’ll definitely be back! Best chicken shop in Northampton!

The waffle was a joke come sort that out

the paper bag was not strong enough, the bag bottom was wet and some food fell down due to its weight, finished on the carpet. :(

I took a screenshot at 21:45 of when I checked the progress and saw that the order was out for the delivery with estimated delivery 22:15-22:45; it was delivered 22:20. Meaning they knew the delivery would take long than 30min. The food was cold and the fries were soft. Worst yet, the chicken had no flavour. Never again!

never arrived and when we rang restaurant they said it had been delievered and basically accused us of lying. will not use again.. I thought you had to give a code to the delievery driver, clearly didn't ask for it. Hope the house they delievered it too enjoyed there free meal

Food was well below par this time. Food wasn't hot poss due to driver not using a hot bag. Fries were overcooked, and chicken was dry. I have ordered from Dixy on many occasions and the food is usually good, but this time, it was awful.

Regular customers at Dixy. Good prices, good deals, and food is delicious. I always order Quarter Pounder Berger meal .

Love the piri piri chicken, “hot” option much better than medium. Good quantity and quality for the price.

Ringo burger with the loaded fries and a sprite is a must have. Also the sweet chilli box is top tier

The new loaded boxes are super good, HUGE portion for only 12.99. Crazy good deal.

Being stingy with the sauces and not putting sauce on the donner kebab, I expected them to call me if I diddnt pay the sauce they could call me to ask we can’t give pots but can give it on top of the box. I would of been an happy customer but….

Chicken and chips were soggy and tased like cardboard, and the mayonnaise in bag with the drinks had split and went all over our drinks. Not very pleasant

Delivery chap didn't have full address,he rang me though. So meal was a bit late,which in turn made meal warm rather than the usual very hot. It's not a big problem,it was as tasty as it always is. Everyone should try the banana waffle it's delicious

Cheeseburger - great Chips - good taste but barely warm and chocolate sundae (Belgian chocolate) was delicious

Sincere advice for you guys. Please stick to the southern fried chicken. Your chips were dry maybe reheated but the worst was the grilled chicken, it was dry and chewy. The supreme burger was as it should be, but again the chips were disgusting.

Fresh hot food,we love eating from here. Tonight im not so happy though ,because i left a note on the order message asking for mayo instead of special sauce.However they took no notice,so i couldnt eat much of mine. PLEASE READ THE NOTES, THANKS

Terrible service and food. Often order from here and usually no issues. This time was different. Food turned up cold with chips missing. When I rang them they didn’t care and put the phone down on me. Won’t be ordering again.

Driver mixed up the orders and gave me the wrong order. I managed to catch up to him and get the correct one but still it was very unprofessional of him.

apart from too much sirracha sauce food was, very nice 👍 will be ordering more but asking them go easy on the sirracha sauce

Not as good as it was before. I ordered two party buckets. The sizzler wings used to have a little spice. The chicken was bland and so were the ‘sizzler’ wings. Not happy but I hope this was a one off and be like before.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I thought I would try this place after the refurbishment and what a bad decision it was! The next day I vommitted everything out and had food poisoning illness all day today - definitely avoid!

Food was nice just could’ve of been a bit warmer, other than that very nice 👍🏼
