If I could of given it 0 stars, I would. Food turned up over an hour late. My husband phoned them twice, only to be told it’ll be 10 minutes, both times! Bloke on the phone was rude & even put the phone down on us when we tried ringing a 3rd time, then proceeded to cut us off every time after!! Food wasn’t worth the wait either.

Very bad food quality. Order came on time but the food was so bad. My fries were so very oily and looked like they've been cooked a week ago and was afraid to even taste them. That's how bad they looked like!!! The bbq chicken wings were so dry. Same as the wedges. Never ever ordering again from this restaurant.

The chicken was a poor standards it was undercooked it was pink and so therefore I took it home and recooked it to the standards it should be. Their defiantly needs to me more kind of training in the kitchen on to impoveing cooking chicken. However the restaurant was nice and clean and nice and warm environment however the just eat prices our a little mid high and need to be a fair price in order to become profitable you need to fair price on the menu and and just eat prices and improve your standards of cooking chicken better.

I made a Tripadvisor account just to warn people away from this hole in the ground. I've had Dixy Chicken (I don't know if it's a chain) in Birmingham before, and it was really good,so when I saw one down here in Gillingham I got pretty excited. Imagine my surprise when: 1. The staff are rude as hell. I was told 'am I coming or not' (when the food was an hour late: an hour later than the maximum time I was told. Imagine waiting 1 hour and 20 mins for SOGGY FLAVOURLESS FRIED CHICKEN), and the food was shunted at me. 2. Whatever they say the time takes for food add 45 mins to an hour: it'll be late 3. The food itself - it's dreadful. Swimming in grease and water, flavourless. Strange somehow lumpy gravy, sauces (like the garlic one) which are thin and spill everywhere. Chips which are SOMEHOW both DRY and WET. And the Chicken which, I apparently naively assumed would be the highlight, was pink, each piece tasted differently (some sweet, some spicy, some garlicy... but none of them nice). Somehow they've made it onto Deliveroo. I have no idea how. You'd be better going anywhere else for chicken even your own kitchen. Please do not get food from here I'm begging you. Oh and if you care about that sort if thing, they don't wear masks.

Plenty of food which was all decent. There was nothing wrong with our order and the food was good standard. We had a variety of foods including chicken, pizza, wraps. I will use Dixie again.

Absolutely revolting. Staff are rude. Chicken was pink and raw and gave me nausea and vomiting, never order here they wont give refund and dont care what you say!!

Me and my boyfriend ordered from here and it took over two hours to come. My boyfriend had a bite of his chicken to find it was pink and chucked it. Then six hours later is throwing up constantly, I phoned the shop and his words where they can’t do anything about it !!

Joke of a food place. I will never be ordering from here again. I ordered through just eat the delivery driver turned up with my food and refused to hand it over until I had paid the £2 delivery charge witch I had already paid on just eat. Nowhere on just eat does it say that I would have to pay extra for delivery. So the driver left with my food and now the shop is refusing a refund for food that I never actually got I an calling the head office on Monday and reporting this branch for stealing my money. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR FOOD!!!!!!

Where do i begin! Had to explain order three times and asked for a box of donner meat whilst waiting for order to be prepared,after ten minutes and asked three different people for the box of meat i was presented with a doughnut,i can see the confusion they do sound similar !?so after arguing politely and getting a refund of a pound i cancelled the order for the meat obviously...in the order was also desert compromising of strawberry cheesecake and profritta balls after 20 minutes i get the order and check it, unbelivably i have that doughnut again and the profitta balls,back in and exchange for the cheese cake,got in the car and thought id better check its not a fishburger because that may also sound similar !! To my amazement it was a cheesecake but frozen ! As were the profritta balls,so back in the shop with the right royal hump(i am generally the most laid back person you would ever care to meet) so give them the desert back explained my argument that you cant serve frozen food and the cocky young person explained thats how it comes so i asked where on the menu does it say all deserts are frozen?The reply was astounding calm down its no big deal!!! At this point i have lost the argument as i started to swear(not like me at all) After doing a twelve hour shift just wanted something quick and easy,trust me people it was far from either,got re embersed and left,no it does get worse,the chicken was all under cooked and bloody,if anyone does read this please dont use this dixy chicken outlet in gillingham ! discussing food hairs and raw chicken...many of times I have been giving dixy the time money...not ever again...health and safety will be called...poor management aswell on the phone...airing me to music or beeps from a car...dont ever order from this so called...fancoollo restaurant...many of times gave the chance now enough is enough!!!!!

I placed my order 2.49am and was told that my food would be here at 3.45am. I called the restaurant at 3.55am and was told the driver was on the way. I called again 10 minutes and was told the driver was 2/3mins away. I then called again at 4.15am and was told the driver came and called me and I wasn't there when I was watching out my window the entire time waiting for the delivery. I did not receive one phone call and when I asked them to confirm the number the driver called they could not even tell me instead they made excuses and lied and said I did not answer. Why else would I be awake at this time calling a food company? The restaurant spoke to me like I was an incompetent fool and told me it's not their problem. They took the payment from my account and did not care that I have not even received my order. I will be reporting this to the police. This is theft and I have evidence of no phone call and the number I left for them to call. Do not order from here if you don't want to be cheated. I have never been so insulted. This is extremely bad service. Do not waste your money here, they do not understand the definition of customer satisfaction. They can all go to hell. I will never give my money to another Dixy Chicken again. I will certainly get my money back for this. No matter who I have to speak to. It's 4.47am now and I plant to pay them a personal visit in the morning.

Avoid like the plague your prob get a bad stomach if you go here . It’s been closed down a few times and only really survives from the nightclub next door

Boss man is bless usually but the food is not doing bits. There are some nice things on the menu but the kebab is not one of them.

I cannot quite believe how this establishment has the right to serve people food. Our food was delivered over an hour late, and despite the person at the end of the phone repeating our order of a cheese and tomato pizza with added pineapple (he repeated the word pineapple and nothing else) this shambles of a ‘food outlet’ delivered, belatedly, a Hawaiian pizza. Not ideal at all, but when I called to ask them to send the driver back they ignored my issue and hung up on me on two separate occasions, accusing me of making a mistake, despite five witnesses hearing the guy repeat our order on loud speaker. I am shocked and appalled that any sort of shambolic business can operate in this day and age with such reckless abandonment for the rights of the consumer. I urge all that read this and the other damming reviews to steer clear of this diabolically poor excuse of a business. You’re welcome

i had to wait for my food over hour and a half and called them they said 10mins and it took them another 30mins to deliver when the food arrived it was very cold and soggy not eatable and my food box was open and chips was scattered all over, i called back for a refund the guy goes he doesnt know how to do it to call my bank and get refund like that, its not about the money its all about presentation, i am a buisness owner myself and this is my worst experience ever,i would not even rate this place

Myself, partner and brother all order a meal few burgers and wraps with chips. They were two half hours late in getting to us then the manager said he would only give us £1.50 discount. HELL NO !! That is not a good business we still offered them £11 half of the original price !!

I think three is fair since the food is average, which isn’t necessarily bad. The thing I hated was the mayo, it’s tastes weird. Also, would recommend to stick to fried chicken, not kebabs

How this place is still open your be lucky if you can avoid stomach cramps for days on end or being stuck on the pan if u eat here

STAY AWAY DISGUSTING. The most disgusting experience I have ever had ordering takeaway it took them 2 hours to deliver cold soggy and disgusting the chicken was burned to black you can taste the charcoal chips drenched in oil see it in the photographs bellow no words to describe it called the restaurant after waiting more then an hour and 20 minutes they said it was on the way waited another 20 minutes finally arrived I would not feed this to my dog I felt sick eating it my family would not touch it 23.49 I should have gone for Domino's STAY AWAY STAY AWAY PLEASE STAY AWAY THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN FOR GOOD>

In Dixy Chicken the food is very tasty, and the people there are great. I am a regular customer and I love to go there all the time. The customer service is great, definitely try the juicy spicy wings.

Se merece 0 estrellas. Orden incompleta, cuando llamé me dijeron que era básicamente hacer. Persona en el teléfono dijo que poner todos los artículos de la bolsa, que me repetía varias veces después de que le había dicho que no estaba allí. Luego parece molesto cuando pedí que se re-entrega o para el dinero para el elemento. No me dieron una respuesta concreta, así que acabamos de llamado. A través de comer solo, así que pedimos pedimos dinero para artículos para reembolsará, punto en el cual me dieron una terrible actitud y dijeron que no podían darme un reembolso, ya que había pagado. My order came late 30 mins late then it came but it was wrong I ordered 8 pieces of chicken, 4 chips, 4 chicken wings and 2 chicken strippers and a bottle of coke. the first time delivery man brang me the wrong order it was a kebab and 2 chips no drink and salad, the second time he delivered it it was 2 burgers and chips with 6 pieces of chicken , I rang them and they told me my correct order would be there in half hour . it took 3 hours for my correct delivery to come all together and it was still wrong the chicken strippers and drink was missing,i rang them and told them the order was wrong again and they was really rude and told me there was nothing they could do

this place just cant get an order correct , 4 out of 4 orders have more than 2 items missing each time from 5 item orders . There is no checking or quality control and they dont read there comments, avoid

When my order arrived I noticed that the 6 hot wings were missing. I rang the company and complained and was told next time they would put 12 in for me for the inconvenience but the never asked for my name. Very disappointed as I had paid for these Hot wings to come along side the meal I had order. Very unhappy

Sadly the menu on this site is incorrect. So the exciting vegetarian pizzas we were anticipating were unavailable. We were telephoned one hour after ordering and told this, so as it had been so long we just accepted the vegetarian hot which you can order anywhere. The food was then delivered a further hour later. Two hours is too long to wait in our opinion. Especially when we had youngsters waiting to eat. The food was average and certainly not worth the wait. Sorry :(

Manager wasn't interested in my complaint I shall be taking matters further.

Food took over an hour to arrive. Cheap nasty chips and overcooked chicken doner which was dry and tasteless. Fried chicken average and ribs not too bad. Whole order arrived luke warm. Will not order from these again
