My partner and I were looking for a romantic spot for dinner and Divino exceeded our expectations. With its cozy ambiance and intimate, exquisite design, the restaurant transports you to Italy. The cuisine was excellent!

The flavors are amazing and the pasta is fresh. It's evident that they employ high-quality ingredients. Ideal for getting together with friends over a bottle of wine or on date nights!

Although Divino's food is fantastic, the ambiance is what really makes restaurant stand out. It's a perfect spot to unwind with friends because it's warm and inviting. The risotto I ordered was wonderful and creamy!

In Divino Enoteca, I had an amazing time! Particularly the wood-fired pizzas, the food was fantastic. It was the ideal setting for a casual dinner—warm yet energetic at the same time.

Our waiter was called cristofer. He was a lovely man. Who was polite and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our meal. Overall great experience.

My boyfriend and I came last night for a birthday dinner, the staff went above and beyond for us from start to finish, Harriot and Troy were both very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations! We were also given complementary limencello and Prosecco to celebrate!! Definitely the best restaurant we’ve been to in Edinburgh we will definitely be back!!

My friend and I had the BEST dinner at Divino! We ate from the al a carte menu and every single item we had was delectable! The atmosphere was cosy, romantic, clean, and relaxed. What made our evening absolutely stellar was our server, Harriot. She was so kind and incredibly knowledgeable. All of her recommendations were spot on and she went out of her way to make our experience even better than we could have imagined. I hope to have her serve me again when I inevitably return to Divino!

Great dinner great service harriot

Very nice place to have italian food

They accommodated our late booking without a problem. The restaurant was a little hard to find tucked away in a back street near the Grass Market, but it was definitely worth the effort. We were made very welcome and treated with great curtesy by all the staff. Our main waiter, Cristofer, was attentive but not at all intrusive. All the courses were good and the main course of their home made ravioli was exquisite. Food prices were reasonable, but the wine needed careful choices from the wine list to avoid some overly high priced bottles. We had a really pleasant evening and would certainly go back when next in Edinburgh.

We had a fantastic meal! Eristofer was a great waiter! He was very knowledgeable and kind. Also, the homemade chocolate at the end of the meal was to die for. Hoping to return someday!

Had no reservations but had an amazing early dinner at the back garden. Everything we ate was deliciously made/decorated (get the beef cheek!). Cristofer made everything more enjoyable, adding his own commentary to the food with the biggest smile. We had already been here and will definitely pop by more often.

I can honestly state that Divino Enoteca Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar is among the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to in Edinburgh, having recently had the pleasure of dining there! It's the ideal place for a romantic evening out because of the warm, intimate atmosphere. Every pasta dish was created by hand and had an amazing flavor.

Visited for a wine tasting evening. Very interesting wines, paired with a good selection of snacks.

Coming from an Italian, The BEST Italian place I’ve been in the whole of the UK. Cristofer was our waiter (10/10) and will lead you through a fantastic experience. 💜 incredible cocktails, delicious food and impeccable service. Will definitely be back.

10/10 will 100% be coming back! Celebrated 2nd anniversary on a busy Friday night and everything from start to finish was incredible. The staff (our server was Harriot), food, atmosphere, service made to feel like the only table in the place. Carbonara, Ragu & Tiramasu where fantastic Tried a lot of Italians in Edinburgh but this tops the pile.

Excellent service throughout. Cristofer helped us choose our wine, offering suggestions and tastes of some samples until we got our winner. Ate some of the biggest olives you’ve ever seen, tasty beef cheek that melts in the mouth and Tiramisu like Mamma used to make. Would recommend to anyone!

Very pleasant attentive staff. Lovely wine selection. Missed out on my chocolate as my coffee was cleared away before I noticed. Almost too efficient.

We had the tasting menu of food from North East Italy with paired wine. The risotto was exceptional and may have been the best I have tasted with its sprinkling of blue cheese an absolute master stroke. The Barbary duck leg was a little dry and we would have preferred the breast and the jus was oversalted, but everything else was superb. The wines matched perfectly but it would have been good to have had a written note of them to take away for future reference. We mentioned this to the manager as we were leaving and hopefully he's going to send a note of them. Overall it was a super evening and certainly highly recommended.

We had mussels and bruschetta for primi, rigatoni alla ragu Toscana and spaghetti carbonara for mains and tiramisu and chocolate tortino for dessert. All very simple classics done amazingly. House chianti paired perfectly with the ragu and the prosecco was lovely too. The heated terrace was perfect for valentines day and service from Cristofer was exceptional. We really appreciated the complimentary limoncello and rose as well.

I had the most delicious meal at Divino Enoteca just now! The service was excellent and the spaghetti was flavorful and fresh. It was like if I was actually in Italy.

Cristofer was amazing cannot fault him at all, very attentive and polite. We booked for 5pm which was early and when we were shown to our table it was actually in their outdoor area which was covered and had heated lamps on.. it was absolutely freezing.. felt kind of ushered outside so never really got to experience the actual restaurant. You should make the customer aware that when they book they won’t be dining inside as if I knew I was would dining outside especially in this cold weather I wouldn’t have came. The food got cold extremely quickly aswell. Couldn’t really enjoy the experience as to how cold I was. Disappointing as I feel if we had dined inside it would have been 5/5 rating.

We returned to Divino’s for a second time for Valentine’s Day and we will definitely be returning. The atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing and all the staff worked like a family together making sure every customer was happy, our waiter David was amazing and very welcoming, he was so informative of the menu and the wine list, and the service was outstanding! Our food was amazing, some of the best Italian food we have had, would definitely recommend if in Edinburgh!

Dined here for my 60th birthday. A great ambience in the downstairs cellar where we were seated. Some of the best quality food I have experienced and fine selection of wines. Service was very attentive but not interruptive.

While the food is excellent, the warm, inviting ambiance is what truly sets this place apart. You can savor your dinner without feeling rushed, and the noise level is just right.

Friend booked a private dining room for 12 people for a 60th birthday celebration. It was perfect. The owner popped in to say hi and the service provided by Troy was second to none. Would definitely recommend and we will go back when we are next in Edinburgh.

Every time I visit Divino Edinburgh, I get amazed with the authentic Italian flavors! The friendly atmosphere and excellent wine selection make it my favorite spot for a special night out.

First time dining at DIVINO and it was excellent. We will definitely be back. Compliments to David who looked after us for the evening.

We squeezed in without reservation on a heaving Saturday night - you have to embrace the right Italian pace of life to allow the food to be ready when it is, because it's worth any little wait you might have. Next time will definitely reserve ;)

This was a great stop of dinner, we had a bad experience with the service and felt pushed to order quickly. The food was fairly good quality I preferred the pizza over the pasta. We had a half and half deal with us a great was of getting the best of both and cannot fault that deal! However when we arrived we was seated and within 1 minute they was back asking for drinks order which we had barely taken our coats off. We asked for a few minutes and literally 2 minutes later they was back again asking for order. They asked if we was ready to order food again asked for 5/10 mins. They was back again within 2 minutes. Asked again for a little time of which the server sighed under her breath and walked off. The 3rd time which again was only about 2/3 minutes we felt pressured to just order so we did but didn’t really get to look at the whole menu. The menu was big allowing lots of options however as diners you then need slightly more time to look. The food was good just a shame about the service as we felt pressured to order. It’s not like the restaurant was heaving and they needed the table.

My father and I went to this restaurant yesterday and were greeted in English and Italian, the service was very good, good atmosphere, the personnel very friendly and the food was on par with the restaurants I have been to in Italy, definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience. Loved the linguini with sundried tomatoes and the Roma salad with mustard dressing. My husband loved the chef special too. Definitely recommend! Came in 2018, back in 2025 and will return again next time we are in Edinburgh.

I had dinner at Divino Enoteca recently, and it was everything I had heard about! The spaghetti is made from scratch and tastes amazing.

The entire experience was a delight. From the host who seated us to our server, Harriot, the service was excellent. The food is outstanding as well. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Edinburgh.
