Diva Licensed Indian and Italian Restaurant in West Dunbartonshire

We came across Diva by chance and what a great find. The food was excellent and plentiful and the staff very friendly and couldn't do enough to assist. It is only a shame that we were visiting Glasgow for just one evening so won't be able to return but if we lived local we would most definitely be back.

Seems we were first customers of the night and so had to wait for starters therefore they were all nice and fresh and hot. Loads to choose from including the usual pakoras, curries etc plus Indian noodles, onion rings, garlic mushrooms, pizza and much more. Everything we ate was hot and tasty. We went for the buffet and 3 drinks for £25 each. Staff were friendly. I saw on their social media page that they have psychic nights sometimes and are trying out karaoke nights. Good luck to them. Hadn't been here for ages but will be back soon. 👍

food was rotten cold, juice was flat, staff were ignorent, will never return again do not waste your money in this restraunt

Went with family 22 in all,wasnt a problem for the staff (big crowd) seats was all laid out for us as we booked in advance all seated together.we went for a buffet meal plenty of it,which was great as my family can eat.staff very friendly,the only thing I say it's not coffee made from a coffee machine,as I like a lovely cup of coffee after meal.even the chef came out to talk to us,would go back there again..

Honestly I can’t put into words how amazing the food was tonight. It was our first time ordering for here and for sure it won’t help the last. The chicken pakora was without a doubt the best pakora we have ever had, the garlic naan was soft and full of flavour, the South Indian garlic chilli chicken was hot but not too hot and the chicken was very succulent.. the chips were cooked properly and crispy on arrival and the fried rice was really tasty. Ate buffet in Diva for 1st time tonight. 1st people in at 6pm asked to wait till starters were put out, curries already there. Starters fine, then went to get mains. Curries were all cold and when manager asked about meal, I told him the curries are cold which was a shame as flavours nice. He went to check bain marie with girl who was putting out food. We saw him telling her off and adjusting controls after tasting it himself. Returned to our table and told me to leave the curries 5 minutes. I didn't go up again. When my partner went to pay he said perhaps something should be taken off the bill as I didn't have a main course. He turned nasty, refused and called me a liar saying food wasn't cold and when I asked the girl to confirm he adjusted the controls, he told her to stop speaking to us. I'm not sure if he's the manager or the owner but his people skills are awful. The money wasn't important, an apology would've been acceptable but we won't be back after his abusive behaviour.

The food is very good, the environment is beautiful.It was very happy to eat with my family. Very sincere in the use of staff.

We as a Reunion group visit this restaurant every year and saw from a previous reviewer it did not appear to warrant its usual 5 Stars, however undeterred we carried on as Normal. The other reviews could not be more wrong. Our Entire Group were made most welcome and immediately observed the entire premises had been given a Total facelift, new lighting, seating etc. All very tasteful, next our usual Alcohol appreciation society bit, yes all still great and they still stock Cobra. Going onto the Meals first impressions were the Choice had virtually Doubled, everything I tried was Top Notch and not a single negative comment from any of the Group, and believe me they know their curries. Nice choice of Sweets and Coffee if required to finish. All in all great Value, We all purchased the £29.99 Big Ticket which gave us all we wanted to eat and all we wanted to drink. The Proprietor & Staff were always on hand to assist when required but never in your face like some Restaurants, I know most of you will understand that. will we Return, Most Definitely, quite a distance for some of us , but worth every penny.

Went for a buffet meal when staying at the nearby Golden Jubilee Hotel. Excellent value. Very well stocked buffet. Meal was extremely good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Diva has Always been a regular favourite of ours , but due to Covid we had not been in a Long time and were apprehensive as to whither it would still be as Good as it was . Being a Buffet Restaurant it has always suited. We had nothing to worry about, the food is still as delicious as it always was , freshened regular and plenty of choices. Salad , dips , starters , mains , desserts and tea n coffee. You can either choose from just the buffet or they have a deal where you can have a drinks package along with it , all very reasonable. We will certainly be back as often as we used to .

I asked about the dish I was looking for and was asked particulars about it. They would have made it special to my liking. Once I saw the buffet I knew I had to try it. Nice assortment and very tasty. I did have two servings! A beer on tap and some dessert and coffee after. Very nice meal for a couple that just stopped in for a bite while waiting for a train.

We regularly have Indian food delivered to our home from Diva. However, we have also eaten in the restaurant several times and usually go for one of the buffet deals. The food is always excellent and the staff are so warm and friendly.
