Sizzlers in West Dunbartonshire

Always order vegetarian curries, namely spinach and potato or bhuna and very tasty and decent portions. Curry comes with a lovely fried rice. My husband always has chicken korma which he thoroughly enjoys. Its our go to local Indian without hesitation.

This is my 3rd time to order curry’s takeaway here using the JE app click and collect . Over all the Food was great , well priced, fast service never waited more than 30 min , friendly staff .. 👍👍

Shocking, burnt my pizza and thought it was acceptable to leave the rest of my food until the new pizza was cooked. Thanks a lot for the horrible soggy food

Decent kebab, kids love their pizza. Bought on just eat and picked up as delivery can take a while.

We're on holiday in Scotland and spotted this place as we were driving around. We had a couple of curries which were tasty.... massive portions which put our London locals to shame. Fantastic staff. They were really busy when we went there, but were chatting away to us. Great little takeaway for the locals.

Waited 2 hours for 2 pizzas that were delivered one was cool and not very pleasant received a discount due to the wait but really disappointed after having to make 2 phone calls and receiving one back from the shop. Wouldn't recommend on this occasion.

All was going well with meal until my husband found a long hair in his burger which turned his stomach......if that wasn't gross enough.....I went on to find entwined hairs in my naan bread!!! 🤮This is so far from acceptable!!!!!! Do you actually wear hair nets???? I purchased through Lomond Eats app.....and usually use another establishment....so safe to safe I will be returning to them!!! I have a photo too.

Ordered a few times this month, and haven't been disappointed once. Delivery was quick and the food was excellent.

Ordered a couple of curries from here tonight, we normally order pizza, really good prompt service ready for collection in less than 20 mins, fresh naan and lovely chicken! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal (apart from we did order chips which weren't in the order, but quality of meal made up for it!)

After a long wait we received our food. Undercooked pizza with a few shaving of cheese, cold and stale garlic bread and a portion of underwhelming onion rings. The pizzeria next door is running out of sizzlers and expected the food to be of a reasonable quality given that it is suppose to specialise in pizza, however it was one of, if not the worst, takeaway I’ve ever had. Also it seems to be on the dearer end of a takeaway given the lack of quality.

Decided to go to Sizzlers tonight and wish I didn't bother. , Placed the order and waited in dingy surroundings, we noticed the man serving wasn't wearing a mask and allowing customers and delivery drivers to enter premises without masks also.He pretended not to know much english. There was a complaint from customer , regarding his payment been taken twice on his card .. On returning home, we discovered a box dry of dried out cold chips,pakora,and donor meat...extra nan was discusting .

Called here to place order and to pick it up as heard bad reviews about delivery waiting times. I ordered a Jalfrazei curry with rice garlic nan and mixed pakora. I turned up to the shop to collect my order paid and went home. When I opened my order it was a chicken korma they gave me and not a jalfrezi so I quickly jumped in my car as I stay local and returned to the shop and informed the boy with a beard and turban that my order was wrong, he took the Korma off me and went into the back shop,thinking he was going to come back with an apology and a Jalfrezi he returned with the Korma and said that a Korma and a Jalfrezi were the same!!! I said are you having a laugh?! A korma is a mild curry with a coconut and cream sauce and a jalfrezi is a medium spiced curry with onions and peppers! He continued to argue with me disputing it meanwhile lifting a take away menu to check the difference! By this time I was irate and asked for my money back for the curry alone and he proceeded to tell me that I forgot to take my boiled rice...I said I have my boiled rice at home it was just the curry that was wrong. Anyway he returned the money for the curry alone. I went along to the other indian shop spice for life to order a jalfrezi from there and asked then if they knew the difference and the experience i had with the other shop along the road to be told by the boy in the shop that the other guy working in spice for life owns sizzlers as well!! There was no apology from the owner meanwhile my dinner was sitting at home cold and inedible. Also to mention inordered a garlic nan and it was a pashwari nan. Totally incompetent staff who don't give a damn about customers, I even heard the boy working in the shop turn and say to the delivery driver have we had any complaints tonight?! Says it all!!! Stay away from this place that allow themselves to serve indian food as they dont have a clue!!

Has a good take out Fish & Chips from this place and is well located. Good choice of food and staff very friendly and efficient.

Ordered was placed at 9:20pm and did not arrive until 11:45. We tried to phone the restaurant 9 times and there was no answer. Food arrive and was obviously cold, the order was incorrect and after paying the sugar tax for Coca Cola, we received Pepsi max.. not even a like-for-like swap. Just eat we’re contacted but could not refund the order without confirmation from the restaurant but there was no answer from the restaurant even though the restaurant was supposed to be open until half 12am.

Ordered online on a Tuesday night. Waited 2h 10m for a stone cold pizza, chips and chicken pakora. Restaurant did not answer the numerous calls to see where our order was. Driver turned up and gave a half bothered late apology. Still couldn't get through to restaurant to complain. They also said it was delivered at 22:40 on app to avoid penalties by justeat. We ordered food at 9.30pm and it arrived in the state it was in at 23.40pm. Absolute jokers. I have ordered loads of times from numerous places in Dumbarton and never had such a bad meal.

Good food, good staff, ordered the 12" pizza meal deal with chips and pakora. Order came thought there was a mistake as only 1 container in bag only to find chips n pakora in 1 small container (snack size) for £12 not too impressed

Food hasn't been delivered. Phoned and told he tried the door. I'm sitting out at the steps of my back garden where I can see my front gate. No one has come. Disgusting service.

My onion rings had no onion in them, we ordered a variety of curries they all looked the same. Portion sizes are huge, the vegetarian dish had chicken in it. Missed some items from the order. The pictures says it all!

Asked for a deep pan pizza and got a thin crust. Ham on the pizza didn’t look cooked and cheese was chewy. I got chips and chasni sauce and there was very little sauce and chips were soggy. Ate one slice of pizza and one chip. Won’t order again.

Order burger and nan bread, burger was okay but chips were far too salty and nan bread was just dough and not edible. Disappointed wont order again

Have to say, food was quick and that was good. But apart from that the food tasted disgusting, kebab meat tastes like it’s been on the stick for a few days, also solid some of it. The curry sauce is horrible and lastly the naan bread is bland. Very disappointed £21 down the drain.

Good was lovely and service was great. Would definitely buy from here again, however, I would telephone order in as just eat charge a ‘service’ fee on top of the take away price.

Got a pepperoni pizza 2 days ago and it was full of Grease and was not nice at all won’t be ordering again, also heard they are opening a pizza place next door won’t be trying there if that’s how there pizza is.

Ordered a meal for one of a chapati, chicken korma and chicken pakora. Delivery time was amazing, came much earlier than it said! The pakora was the best pakora I've had, however the Chapati tasted of flour and the korma was extremely sweet. Overall not a bad place!

It’s up there in terms of one of the worst Indians I’ve ever had - my two boys agreed. Classic was the veggie samosas - 2 round doughy lumps in a terrifying red sweet sauce. I’m assuming no actual people from the Indian subcontinent have anything to do with this place.

Do not bother going anywhere else, the food here is Brilliant and so tasty, no I dont work for them I am Just a very satisfied customer!!

So disappointed!! Asked for extra cheese on my chips and they charged £3 extra and was barely any cheese. £3 fkn pound extra for cheese???? Cheese was also hard and stringy. Disgusting won’t be back again. Miss the old owners!! Not the same and won’t be back.

Food was cold on arrival and the kebab meat was very very minimal and slightly stale! Pizza felt like it had been left for hours.

Text message at 21:13 saying food on route at 21:55 food still not arrived, restaurant is about 5 minute drive from my house.

Food just wasn't to my taste this time, but the quality was still really good.

Always happy with Sizzler, just upset they changed their menu. I miss my veggie madras!

We’ve used Sizzlers for a few years now and it appears to have recently change hands and so they have bumped their prices up to a point where we will be looking elsewhere for our food. Around 15% has been added which is simply too much of a jump in our eyes, even though the food is still decent enough. It means our normally £30 meal has inflated to £40!

The curry we ordered was the best we have eaten for 15 years, we will definately be ordering again, its delicious!!

Fast service, tasty pizza, delivered 20 minutes early by friendly people that knew exactly where we were and we were in a holiday lodge. Great service.

Got the Chicken Korma it was really good and piping hot, rice and chips were also hot which doesn't happen to often when getting a delivery. Only complaint i had was the samosa's were over cooked and were solid on the bottom plus the sauce they were in was not needed ruined the samosa. Over all happy with everything else

Brilliant takeaway. Good is reasonably priced and very tasty. Haven't tried the restaurant yet but my kids love the takeaway.

Great place for kebab, pizza and curry. Never had any issues before. If poison pixie remembered where she stayed 2 times in the first place then maybe you wouldn't of got some cheek from the owner. So everyone discard her review.

Ordered a large chicken kebab which arrived with 7 pieces, phoned the restaurant who asked if I had received 10 bits, after telling them I received 7, they then proceeded to say that 7 small bits of chicken sounded normal for a large kebab. So why ask about 10 in the first place?

Excellent takeaway food, lots of choice and the specials and set menu's are great value. Nice wee intimate restaurant next door too...Wheelchair friendly.

Food was to arrive at 8.30. Got a text just before 8.30 to advise it would be 10 mins late and would be with us by 8.40 which was fine. 9pm came still no food, called and was told it would be with us in a minute (no apology). turned up at 9.10 and it was cold. The driver apologised for it being late but no apology from the shop

No raita sauce which is usually free. Lorna did not lit have a lot of chicken. Tasty but not enough. Rice ok. Poppadoms not crispy a bit soggy.

The time we waited for the food to be delivered was rediculous over an hour I had to call to see how much longer my delivery would take to arrive supposedly ours was on its way so waiting abit linger to receive food that had obviously been sitting for a while chips were rotten dinner meat was not fresh also didn’t receive tub of sauce....food isn’t fresh and delivery service not good
