The service is very good. The coffee is very fragrant. I especially like his croissant. It’s delicious. Whether it’s pistachios or raspberries, the ingredients are solid.

Lovely place near the palace theatre. Lunchtime food if you're quick.

I work a few days a month in Manchester and I always make sure I drop in and pick up my oat latté. The coffee is a really nice rounded flavour, never burnt!

Heard the staff talking about reviews this morning so I thought I’d leave one. This is my go to coffee shop in Manchester, friendly staff, great atmosphere and of course a superb coffee. Highly recommended

I loved the place and the cafe so much, the flat white was good taste , bakewell tart was sooo delicious 😋😋 and service was so nice, the staff were very lovely and so kind. ☺️ This is my first time visiting the place and it won't be the last.

Ditto make a good oat milk latte, but don't have a big selection of food. Mostly prepackaged sandwiches and a small selection of muffins and croissants. I like the vibe and support of local musicians 🎶

So overpriced. Bought the tea and cake deal for £6 in total but even with the deal what I got was incredibly overpriced all things considered. Yorkshire tea bag that I can get from Lidl for £3, and a one layered very mid carrot cake for £3.40. I have never seen a cafe sell one layered carrot cake in my life!! In the busy hustle of Manchester and Oxford road, this is a lovely place to come for a flat white. Nice window seat for people watching and a great place to sit and do some work if desired. Not filled with too many working and a nice mix of social gatherings and workers alike. The staff are always friendly and the price isn't too bad either.

Ditto coffee launched in 2018. I came here for the brand new brunch menu and seasonal treats! Can’t believe they have Hong Kong style french toast with a twist! Needless to say, coffee as their specialty is divine, but the brunch options are also surprisingly delicious. The mushroom soup is particularly impressive. We love the Yorkshire pudding wrap with loads of slow-cooked beef brisket too! The team behind the coffee shop is the founder of Ditto Music! So they are huge supporters of independent music!

Excellent coffee in the centre of Manchester. The espresso was great, I would definitely come again next time I’m visiting the city. The staff were super friendly too and welcomed our dog with fuss and treats.

We had two Americanos. They were ok. I had the wild mushrooms, poached eggs on ciabatta. It was a very nice portion, perfectly cooked. Kept me filled up all afternoon. I would recommend as they had a few nice veg options. Staff were friendly enough. Nice cafe.

The staff are so lovely and adhere to any requests that you have! The coffee was amazing and the brownie was delicious. Good prices for the quality! Also dog friendly!

Very impressed with the service here. Both members of staff were very friendly and helpful. The coffee was very good, and it feels more comfortable than other local coffee shops.

I haven't visited for a while but I did this week and had the worst customer service ever. I went to work with my laptop and have a coffee. The reason for not having been for a while was that's it is too loud to work but the customer service was okay. This time there was a guy with blue hair taking my order and asked me where I am sitting. I told him I am not sure yet and he was telling me i cannot pay until I know. I had a look around and show him a table. Then he asked for the table number. I told him I don't know that, and pointed the table which to note it was across the counter. He was telling me with a BIG attitude that I cannot pay until I go and find out the table number! Not only he was rude, he was bored being there, he didn't even know the numbers and anyway I was the only customer ordering at that time, so obviously he could see where I was sitting. To make matters worse, when I asked him at a later point the wifi code, again very rudely and ironically told me to go check it myself. He - in purpose - didn't tell me that, but some other customers sitting next to me shared the password with me. When I left he was on his phone and didn't even say thank you or something. The rudest service EVER! I then went to work on 200 degrees and guess what I ordered and they brought the coffee without even asking for a table number or where to sit! I wouldn't bother visit this place - so many other coffee shops to work from with excellent customer service. And the coffee could be better!

Genuinely one of the best breakfast paninis I’ve ever had

I was hoping for better coffee than the usual chains, but as disappointed by the my Americano, which was very bland. It's good that the place opens early - I was there at 07:45, but the staff were obviously not morning people!

What a lovely spot for brunch! Stopped here for a quick bite and was give exceptional service. Loved the halloumi and poached eggs - topped it off with a chai latte. Scrumptious!

My daughter and I called in at 3.30 on a Saturday afternoon. We stood at the counter for a minute or so whilst three members of staff ignored us, until an unsmiling woman with red hair eventually told us to ‘order at the till’ (basically two feet further along). One of her colleagues appeared at this point of the counter and told us they’d be closing at 4. We only wanted two teas, so said this would be fine and she said she’d bring them over. Five minutes later, we were presented with two paper cups each containing a tea bag and boiling water. My daughter had to go and ask if we could please have some milk. A sparing amount was added into the cups and they were brought back to us. My daughter went again and asked if we could please have some more milk which we could add ourselves, to taste, and pointed out that we were not expecting take away cups. The sullen, red-haired woman was rude and dismissive - we’d been told they were closing soon, hadn’t we? There are so many excellent tea and coffee shops in Manchester, with lovely, welcoming staff, we will definitely not be wasting our time and money at this one again. At 3.50, another member of staff came round to every table to let people know they were closing in ten minutes (like we hadn’t already got the message). Basically, I can’t believe we were charged £6.20 for two tea bags and two disposable cups, and not even asked if we wanted milk. A warm welcome, an apology, or even a smile, would have softened the blow.

Nice aesthetic to the cafe. 1 out of 3 workers was lovely. She was the one with glasses and red hair I forgot her name but she was lovely. Another girl was shorter with red curly hair was rude and it felt like microagressive. I ordered a sandwich and she just snatched and had a face and then the lovely girl said is this for toasting and the rude girl didn't even ask then looked at me rudely and said you want it toasted right? And I said yes, I would have left if the other girl wasn't nice. The man was okay but slight sass to him. I would be wary going there as a person of colour. It's not very welcoming.

I was out with a friend and we were looking for a coffee shop that still had an available table. We walked past this place and there was one table to spare so we went in. The atmosphere was nice as soon as we walked in. Coffee was great. Staff were friendly. I don’t like big chain type places, so this was perfect.

Awesome coffee. Told the chap behind the counter there was an unattended package underneath one of the desks. Gave me a blank stare and carried on looking through his phone. I’m Manchester if all places.. Stink attitude.

Ditto coffee is a perfect place for coffee break at anytime. You can meet up your colleagues and discuss work as well. Just go with your date at this perfect place and enjoy the coffee with romantic as well as workaholic people around :)

Very good coffee and friendly staff. The products are very good quality and there is plug at each table which make it the perfect place if you need to recharge your phone while you are recharging yourself with coffee and a sandwich.

Hit and miss service, great coffee. The person at the till told me they don't do machiato in a very assertive voice when I got one only days before. Very seriously turned back to their phone to resume what looked like a super Mario game. The person making the coffee (had to ask for double espresso with a bit of milk) was really pleasant and obviously embarrassed with their colleague's attitude. All other times I've visited, around five or six, have been delightful.

Absolutely disgusting and over priced. Had the Buddha bowl and was presented with an unpleasant grey mush, undressed leaves and an unripe avocado. No apology - “oh that’s just how we do it”. All that for £8 ! I’d rather have a Greggs sausage roll

We always call here on our way to Manchester Eye Hospital, it's a lovely little place but we were so disappointed when we visited last visit Friday 22nd April..Our coffee was lukewarm.

Located right opposite the Macdonalds, Ditto coffee is a cute little coffee shop with different sandwiches and cakes like rollo blondie, Nutella bakewell and millionaires shortbreads and of course... Coffee. I had an oat cappuccino which was really good. I think they were using Oatly Barista. It definitely wasn't Alpro which is my least favourite so I will be going back :)

I dropped in to have my flat white. It was not that good, but not bad though (it was so milky). They should work on it. They also have some desserts and sandwiches 🥪 but I haven’t tried them. Anyway, the staff was nice and friendly.

I'm afraid to say that I did not enjoy my experience here. Shortly after arriving and sitting down I was questioned and pressured to order a drink. I understand that some people may freeload on their stay, but I was in the middle of important work on my laptop, and I had all intention to purchase a coffee. I decided I wouldn't be pressured into buying one before I would like to, and feared that they would kick me out when I finished my coffee anyway, and went elsewhere. Such as shame as I had heard good things about this place. But my idea of a coffee shop is one in which I can stay for as long as I like, whilst also ordering when I please. A pleasure which I have had at other coffee shops. If you want to feel pressured and rushed, then go to this place. Otherwise, there are much kinder places, who have offered me water when I sit down.

I much prefer independent coffee houses to the big chains and Ditto is a really nice coffee shop. I came here after having my hair done on the same street, and found that they serve really good strong coffee. There is nice seating although only indoors, offer various non-dairy milk which was great, and the the staff are very friendly. The size of the regular Americano is also very generous, overall great!

Love a good little independent coffee shop. Beat the big chains hands down. The coffee is delicious, the staff are lovely, and the decor is nice.

Everything about DITTO rocks! The takeaway coffee cups are the best ever invented and the coffee divine. Loved the chaps, the conversation and the ambience and I will be back (because the cakes were way too tempting). I will be recommending this little jewel to the world! xx
