Pub and bar hopping down Smithdown Road my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into Dirty Nellies Pub ,a fine pub I've never had the chance to visit and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, great decor and furnishings including vintage beer enamels adorning the walls,a pool table, tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport and beautifully decked out for the Euro's plus plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, all in all its a great pub to unwind in. We were here on a Thursday evening, we track and traced and sanitised our hands and we were allocated a table were we ordered a beer each, we chose Sharps Brewery " Atlantic pale ale " and these were served in pristine condition, we settled down and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. My pale ale was really good, a crisp, well balanced pale ale, a big hit of hops, hints of toffee and a delicious aroma, a classic British pale ale, so refreshing on a hot and clammy evening. These are my type of pubs, great staff, superb beverages, good atmosphere and drinking with my twinny, what more could I ask for. We really enjoyed our pale ale's in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and for a first time visit to Dirty Nellies Pub we had a wonderful time. Dirty Nellies Pub is an easy pub to locate down Smithdown Road, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 11am till 11pm. Friday & Saturday, 11am till Midnight. Sunday, 11am till 11pm. A great pub, if you're in the area most definitely well worth checking out especially if you enjoy a pub with a great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Durty Nellies on Smithdown road is a superb pub and was one of the liveliest pubs we visited while on a pub crawl around the Smithdown road area of Liverpool. A fairly large pub with a pool table and excellent seating options throughout the whole pub a nice bar and bar area and lot's of beer related item's adorning the walls. When we visited here this pub was very busy and after we gave our track and trace details we took a seat in the main bar area. The Euro's were being shown in here and this pub was very lively. As it's still table service only one of the staff took our order of a few glasses of Atlantic Pale Ale an excellent beer from Sharp's brewery which where well served and priced. Durty Nellies is a great pub in an excellent part of Liverpool and well worth visiting and is so easy to find from Greenbank road bus stop it's only a few minutes walk away.(This is my first review of Durty Nellies). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday -Don't Know. Nearest Bus Stop. Greenbank road bus stop.

We visited as a group of 3 on a busy lunchtime, we were lucky to get a table as it was so busy. It had a great buzz and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional- very tasty and lovely sized portions. I’d definitely love to come back next time I’m in Liverpool.

The one thing about Liverpool City Centre is there are many interesting old pub's and the Cornmarket is one of the oldest and it's one of the best.Located on Old Ropery'the Cornmarket has a fantastic interior with an old world look and feel. The pub dates from the 18th century and is full of character. The interior to this historic pub has many interesting fixture's and lot's of original feature's.There's wood panelling that was taken from a clipper ship that was called the Reina Del Pacifico and excellent seating options. If you enter from Moor street this pub looks completely different as up to the 1960s this was the Bulls Head pub. This pub was taken over by the Cornmarket and has thrived as a pub since then.We have been visiting this pub for many years and it's just as good as it's ever been. We went to here early in the afternoon and it was very busy which is how we like places as the atmosphere is better when pubs are busy. When we visited we had a few glasses of Carling brewery lagers which where first rate and were reasonably priced. Its an excellent old world pub in a fantastic area of the city centre and it's a pub that's well worth going to.(This is my fourth review of the Cornmarket). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-11.30-23.00. Public Transport. Bus Stop. James Street Train Station Bus Stop-10A-10Q-18-26-N1. Train Station. James Street Train Station.

Nice cup of coffee thanks! Greeted by Holly who was chatty and took my order with advice when asked for (type of milk used, how many shots). Not a regular at Starbucks but would return. Holly wished me a happy holiday too! This after the the smoothest transit trough the airport ever. Lots to like today at Liverpool JL airport.

Lovely surroundings, comfy sofas, very tasty local gins, and a tasting plate of 3 small beers. Perfect, couldn't wish for better.
