Bold Street Coffee in Liverpool

Segunda visita aquí. Gran café, ambiente relajado y buen servicio. El menú de comida es delicioso (en el lado caro). G tenía una boya de salchichas (huevos revueltos, queso y una empanada de salchichas en un rollo de brioche) - era muy delicioso.

Debe haberlos conseguido en un mal día - 5 de nosotros llamamos para hacer el brunch pidiendo 4 x BSC Frys y 1 huevo en tostadas, así que bastante sencillo. Después de bastante espera, nos sirvieron y para todos nosotros lo que recibimos fue en el mejor de los casos cálido. La persona que nos sirvió se disculpó y dijo que su plato más caliente o algo se rompió, pero no hizo ningún intento de rectificar la situación. Como era una mañana muy fría y teníamos que estar en algún lugar más tarde, comimos lo que obtuvimos, frijoles fríos, salchichas agradables pero frías, tocino frío, pero los huevos eran un no, no! Así como que los cafés recibidos también estaban tibios. . . Lamento mucho haber pagado algo (y no era barato! ) pero sin duda nunca volveré de nuevo

I went here first just for coffee but we came back the next day for food. The pancakes and bacon we're delicious and everyone was delighted with the service and atmosphere. Downstairs can be really quiet but upstairs is really nice.

Cosy place we stumbled upon during a morning stroll on boxing day. Food was delicious, particularly the bacon buoy! Gobbled it up before I could take a photo. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Thanks!

I served a filter coffee, very good, I couldn't find much around town. I liked it a lot, I couldn't really stay long in the cafe, but it looks nice.

Found Bold Street Coffee while here on my studies from America. I will say it did not disappoint. I came here pretty much everyday and always got the same thing which was the sausage buoy with a side of hashbrowns. The food never disappointed. Matt and the rest of the staff were always amazing and it really was a home away from home. Thank you for everything guys. Alexander

Went for brunch on Friday 6/12/24 this is another gem on Bold Street. Yes I had my pancakes and omg I was not disappointed at all, they were lovely and so filling, the staff were amazing as well. I will definitely be back

The cappuccino was nice but we also ordered pancakes with bacon and marple syrup, the portion was really tiny for the 13.65 pounds I paid. If the portions were bigger it would be really nice and I dont think it would cost anything to them!

Really pleasant visit to BSC, came over from Manchester to Liverpool to meet up with family, greeted by smiling,friendly staff. Very tasty coffee served promptly and again with a smile. Nice to see staff happy at work.

Visited this place after a great recommendation from a regular customer. Didn't disappoint. Although it was very busy we were greeted at the door by a friendly chap (nice touch) and quickly found a seat. Table emptied and cleaned as we sat down which we appreciated (I'm always unpleasantly surprised that so many places don't do this and you have to clear it yourself or sit with someone else's leftovers before any staff member attends). Great choice of coffees and quality was top draw (natch), food was fresh, tasty and quick to our table. All in all a very pleasant experience. Shout out to the staff (sorry, didn't get names) who, although run off their feet were smiley and engaging. Worthy of five stars!

Egg buoy - the eggs & broiche buns were great Cappuccino - was ok and portion slightly small Service- was pretty efficient considering we went in a busy morning & staff were friendly Atmosphere- the music was fun, but seating was slightly cramped & uncomfortable

It’s a good spot for breakfast, and I especially enjoyed my favorite Eggs Royale (I often skip making it at home because hollandaise sauce can be a bit of a hassle). The only thing I’d like to see added is a sweeter porridge option - perhaps offering honey so everyone can adjust the sweetness to their liking. I’m not a sweet tooth at all, but even for me, it was quite bland. But in general, it’s a good place. I spent two of my three breakfasts in Liverpool here, and it was nice!

Vaya, a la cafetería en Liverpool. Me gusta mucho el ambiente del lugar y el café es muy bueno. Un montón de diferentes mezclas y una increíble selección de comida. Todavía no he probado uno, pero los desayunos cocinados se ven increíbles. Muchas opciones vegetarianas también. Puede estar ocupado, pero vale la pena esperar. Muy recomendable.

Llegamos aproximadamente una hora antes de la hora de cierre, así que la única comida disponible era lo que había en las neveras, sin embargo, solo entramos por café. Mi pareja tenía un chocolate caliente que ella disfrutó mucho, y mi café era delicioso. También se nos acercó un miembro del personal con pasteles gratis, que claramente tenía que ir antes del final del día. Friendly service and delicious fresh fruit porridge, just what I needed on a cold morning when I was visiting Liverpool for a couple of days.

Visitamos como un grupo de 3 en un almuerzo ocupado, tuvimos la suerte de conseguir una mesa ya que estaba tan ocupado. Tenía un gran bullicio y el personal era muy amable y servicial. La comida era excepcional - porciones muy sabrosas y de tamaño encantador. Definitivamente me encantaría volver la próxima vez que esté en Liverpool.

I consistently enjoy coffee from Bold Street Coffee, and I firmly believe that it stands as one of the finest coffee shops in Liverpool.

Lovely place had a great vibe to it and the coffee was delicious definitely the best tasting around. The only let down was while waiting to be served,I was looking at what baked goodies to buy and noticed gnat like fly landing on the baked cakes.I made a member of staff awear. She informed me they know about the flies. I decided not to purchase a cake. 4/5

I was shocked at the £10 avocado toast which was just a very thin small slice of bread with a lot of flavorless mashed avocado on top. There were chili flakes but that was it. I had to add salt and pepper for taste. The coffee was ok but the benches were uncomfortable. I won’t be going back!

Visited on a Sunday morning for brunch whilst visiting Liverpool for the weekend. It was packed, clearly very popular, but the wait was short and we soon had a table. Food & coffee were excellent (pancakes with maple syrup & bacon, and eggs benedict). Friendly staff. Would recommend and return. Happy to frequent a an independent business over a corporate.

Nice coffee but it takes itself too seriously. It's almost as if they only want a certain type of person to frequent; i.e arty farty students who will pay 2.75 for a can of water. The female staff in there also struggle to smile and are often a bit rude either knowingly or otherwise. I'd suggest Costa going forward. Or 200 degrees down the road.

I visited here recently for breakfast and both my partner and I ordered a sausage and a bacon buoy, their signature breakfast sandwiches, which had come highly recommended to us. The food was served quickly. The breakfast was lovely, it came as a sausage patty and not the traditional type of sausage. This was served with scrambled eggs and cheese. Although nice and of a decent size, at £12 it was very pricey for what you got.

Saw this place several times walking by and kept meaning to try it. Finally had some time to drop by today and loved both the coffee and the environment. I normally need to add a good amount of sweetener to coffee to like it, but I tried theirs without anything added and just kept sipping away as-is because it was quite good. Love the vibe in here too. The food at the next few tables over looks quite delish, so I think I'll need to return to try that too. I'm loving the music here too. All around, a great place.

The batch brew is probably the best ever. Actually it's just all great coffee there, and the food is impressive. Love it.

It was pretty busy on the main floor when we arrived, so we were told we could sit downstairs, which was blissfully empty at first but started to fill up soon after our drinks were brought down. My friend was very impressed with the matcha. I had the Arnold Palmer (fruit tea topped with lemonade), which was lovely and refreshing on a hot, sunny day. I'll be sure to check out the Manchester branches soon. 🍵

Came here a few times with my partner. Staff are always friendly, coffee is great and the breakfast menu is amazing and really good value for money. Best breakfast on Bold street and I’d go as far to say it’s quite possibly the best breakfast in Liverpool. Highly recommend!!!

No doubt the food here is good, as is the coffee. However, I take issue with charging £2.75 for a can of still water. I do not think that this is justifiable. I know it is not cheap to run a city centre hospitality business in Liverpool, but I just think the prices here would put me off coming again. Sorry guys.

Absolutely superb coffee. As good as it gets!! A coffee full of aroma, flavour and trully velvety. Sandwiches are also superb. The staff are great fun a very upbeat atmosphere.

Absolutely loved this cafe! I had wanted to try bold street coffee since long and I finally visited this morning! Me n my boyfriend got iced latte and iced mocha along with the dark chocolate almond cookie. The cookie stole the show because it was simply delicious! The iced latte was okayish. I asked for hazelnut syrup but idts they put hazelnut syrup in it. The iced mocha was really good tho. We also loved the atmosphere and chill vibes. I’m definitely visiting again!

Food was delicious, and great choice of drinks. We had a little wait on a Saturday morning, but our expectations were managed regularly and appreciated the honesty from the staff of wait times. Would definitely visit again :)

Despite not being too busy on a weekend morning, Nothing moves in this place, including staff. Slowest service for the most mediocre coffee ever. Also didn't have almond milk or GF bread despite being on the menu. Over hyped. Avoid.

Popped in here for a quick coffee while I read some of my book, The Americano was delicious, the staff very friendly and helped me land on choosing a baked good, a lemon meringue cookie. Which was also delish and captured the essence of a lemon meringue pie with surprising fidelity, the taste of lemon meringue paired with the crisp/chew of a cookie? Don’t mind if I diddly-do! Overall had a nice relaxing coffee although the bloke who brought me my coffee didn’t say a word to me when he brought it, I was all like ‘cheers mate’ and he didn’t respond at all but hey ho, he was probably busy and stuff!

The best breakfast! We visited Liverpool for the weekend and came for coffee and breakfast this morning. Super impressive stuff from bold coffee. The food was excellent, fresh and quick. Coffee is also fantastic, a few different selections of espresso and the perfect temperature. Really great baristas. We've all had a lovely morning here :)

Went on a super busy day, so there was a wait, which is expected. Staff were very obviously under pressure, which showed when they interacted with you. Was asked to move multiple times when waiting for my coffee but was difficult to not be in the way with the amount of people waiting/ limited bench space left to sit on.Got an iced dirty chai, I enjoyed this but have had nicer. Breakfasts look lovely, would come back to try these.

The woman with the red hair was extremely rude! As we went to sit down, she told us we needed to go and sit on the bench and wait for the table (even though it was free). We sat on the bench for about five minutes before the table was given to two people who had literally just walked in! We left after this. I will not be returning.

Great coffee and food, but the service can be slow due to it being super busy, especially on weekends. The atmosphere is a bit chaotic for me personally, so if you don't like loud, fast-paced cafés, I would recommend getting takeout.

Visited recently for breakfast while having to kill a couple of hours in town. The food was great, the iced tea and coffee were excellent and the atmosphere was pleasantly chaotic on a sunny weekend late-morning. As they accept take-out and sit-in orders at the same time it can make the venue seem much busier than it actually is upstairs, they also have a downstairs seating space too so things aren't always as they seem - well worth another visit.
