Was given a 45min window for delivery and it still arrived over 1hour late. Not the first time this has happened. The app said that it was 'out for delivery' for 45mins. When we called them, they said the driver had left 5mins ago. Another 30mins later it finally arrived (a 15min journey at most). Food was nice but not worth the hassle.

I feel like the sauce is over seasoned and more spicy than it should be.

I always get chicken hariyali and it is amazing as always, best takeaway in Hartlepool 👍

The food is one of the nicest Indian in the town so worth the wait but there is a wait. Always takes over and hour nearer and hour and half so order early. Worth the wait though. Delicious

Simple great food. Use Dine it Home for quite a few years. Staff great. Reading some reports food maybe cold. We always collect. Never a complaint. We had a non vegetable Thahli. Enough for 4 people

Placed an order at 6.30pm and received it at 8.55pm. The food was cold. I called them. They offered a replacement which will take another hour. Extremely disappointed as this was my first order. I appreciate you're busy but the order should have still arrived warm! Won't order again! Will try and get a refund through Hartlepool Eats!

Unacceptable wait time. Phoned restraint to be told it was five mins away after two hours and then waited a further half hour. Food was only just warm, and one of the curries was inedible because of the level of spice. We ended up eating some chips and rice with one korma to share between four people. Will not return.

The full Mint sauce tub had spilt all over the bag and soaked the naan bread and all containers covered in it. Food wasn’t very warm. Still ate it as we were so hungry. Ordered around 6.30 was just after 8 when delivered. Never had a bad experience before but tonight was a little disappointing as Dine at home is our favourite take away.

Ordered of just eat paid delivery fee then was told by driver I needed to pay extra for delivery in cash never again will I order from here also food was cold

We always use DAH. Best in the town in my opinion. We ordered on Saturday and the delivery attempt beat us home (was very quick). They tried to call but I have my old number on the app. Rang, and they happily redelivered well after closing time even though it was my error. Very grateful and one of the many reasons we'll continue to use DAH. Thank you for the great service 👌

Really disappointing! I ordered food with a special request (that I always make, and which I always add on the notes), and the wrong food arrived. When I called to speak to the takeaway, the professional and appropriate response, was to offer a refund or replacement order (of which I would have chosen the latter). Instead, I was advised I could have 20% off my next order. So a) I’m now left with food I didn’t order, and b) I have to spend more money to get any kind of compensation for their error. After much sighing, huffing and puffing, they finally agreed to replace my order. However, on reflection, I decided to leave it. If they aren’t willing to handle legitimate customer complaints appropriately, I’d rather withdraw my custom entirely. They’ve lost a loyal customer of many years.

The nicest indian I've had in years. They should open a restaurant. 10/10 quality, & collection time was accurate to the minute. Big thick piles of chicken tikka, loads of it. Loads of meaty bits in the starter as well, the good stuff. Something often missing from specials and set meals in town these days... you included the little bag of salad and the pot of whatever it is! Service from other takeaways and restaurants is so disappointing these things are a luxury now! An extra poppadom than expected topped it off. Never change Dine at Home, you've got a reputation to sustain.
