I was walking passed when we went in on a whim. Staff were friendly and I happen to mention it was my 3 year old birthday and we'd just been to the museum of science nearby. After a lovely lunch the waitress asked if r would mind them bringing us a birthday brownie and ice cream. They didn't need to do it but were all lovely and enjoyed the day. The restaurant decor is lovely

Very expensive for what you get.

Love the food here! Didn’t disappoint us at all, the sharing plater was really good especially the pork/ribs, meatballs was okay so would recommend order something else to try.

The food here is delicious, some of us had the tapas dishes and some of us had a main dish, either way you’re gonna be full and satisfied!

Best Greek food I have ever had!!! Me and my partner were visiting from Scotland and this just so happened to be close to our hotel. The staff were really nice, the restaurant had a really authentic cosy vibe and the food was outstanding. I typically hate lamb but my partner ordered it and I ended up being converted. Wish we had room for desserts but everything was amazing and the cocktails were soo reasonably priced! The mojito was very fresh and I could tell they hadn’t just used a mix. Will be back when we visit again :)

My girlfriend came here to enjoy a lovely Greek lunch with her father and instead of lunch they had a table full of bread!!! I mean, they ended up putting the leftover bread in 4 containers. Ridiculous. Yes, they ordered many dips and with every dip a plate of bread arrived!!! Then more on the side?? I'm simply saying, you could have said: "it comes with bread - do you want the bread"? It's common sense and this is NOT what a Greek table should look like! Even the table next to them was laughing. I have been in hospitality for 20 years and I'm very disappointed with this service.

We had really nice food and a lovely service from a few of the staff. The only minor issue was the alarm going off with no explanation. We highly recommend this restaurant for a good quality Greek meal and we'll surely be back.

Great place for food and a drink afterwards. Around 30 of us went on a works outing. Close to train and tram stations and no doubt bus route.

The best Greek meal we’ve had outside of Greek. We couldn’t stop eating and mopped up every last bit. Great staff and service. Can’t wait to go back. We had a selection of mezze dishes and each one was delicious. Especially the feta dip and calamari. The selection of Greek desserts and Greek coffee was the perfect combination me to the meal. Stuffed and very happy!

Absolutely love this place. One of our favourite places to eat in Manchester. Took some friends on Saturday night and they loved it too. Food is always good, staff lovely and a lovely ambience in the rear courtyard area. You feel like you're on holiday somewhere. They usually have a live music act on in the front bar too, so you could spend all night in here. Highly recommended 👌

They were fully booked, so we sat in the "bar" area. This place was not our first option, but all the other restaurants we went to were fully booked. Overall, the food was okay for being hungry and desperate for a place to sit down. If you want a better meal, reserve another restaurant ahead of time. I would recommend the pita and hummus because it was really good.

Great atmosphere had office dinner. Sone dishes were just ok like calamari, was bit disappointing. But other than that rest food was great.

Friendly service, great food (we had a selection of mezes) and good value. Very pleasant both inside the restaurant and in the arcade.

My husband was in the mood for Mediterranean food and we found Dimitri’s on Google Maps, which had an above average rating. We made a reservation but arrived early and they sat us immediately. The restaurant is cozy and the staff is very nice. The menus is tapas, so best for sharing. We ordered the veggie platter for 2, which was enough to feed 4 people. The Greek salad was excellent—very fresh and perfect proportions of tomato, pepper, onions and feta. The feta tasted amazing and the pita bread fresh. The olives were also good. The hummus was ok, but a little grainy. We also had beans in a sauce, falafels, couscous with veggies, fried cheese and potatoes. We had a nice white wine with the meal and finished the meal with Baklava and lemoncello. It’s not the best meal I’ve had in Manchester, but it was good.

A lovely afternoon with great food and friendly service.

Food was lovely (Traditional Pork Souvlaki with coleslaw, salad, and chips) and the atmosphere was nice. The staff were nice but we were sitting around for a while after we'd eaten and not been asked if we wanted anything else. And nobody was available to ask for the bill.

Visited the other night without a reservation, we were asked to wait for a short time until a table became available. We were seated not long after. Service was speedy and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The beef Stifado and ribs were delicious! I can't wait to come back again.

Food was lovely and big portions. However, we were only served with one drink and never got asked again. Ordered dessert and was going to order hot drinks but was told that needed the table.

Visited Fri 24/11/23 A really good authentic Greek menu. The food and service was a 5/5 star. We were a party of four and were seated in the lovely decorated outside courtyard area. I chose the mixed grill, £28.50....and it was brilliant. Definitely recommend, but I will need to visit again to try the menu.

Excellent service and excellent quality of food too!

Expensive for lunch. "Med Bread" was a few slices of a stale brown mini loaf. Calamari was just straight out the freezer bag and the batter was pale not golden. Pork ribs were tasteless chunks of overcooked pork. I suppose the portions were OK but at around £8 for each they would have to be. Some staff friendly, some quite unfriendly. Overall not a good meal.

For some reason the smell of the cooking, which used to be so amazing, was this time absent, really taking away from the once great and cosy atmosphere.

I would rank the response time here in terms of getting your orders really really high. They were really fast.

Since moving to Manchester, this has quickly become our go to restaurant! The food is amazing and the restaurant itself has a lovely setting. We'd go every day if we could, even with my boyfriend being gluten free.

Visited here as a couple. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, it was also a bit different to other 'standard' restaurants. I look forward to visiting again - thanks!

The premises are nice and pleasant, with the enclosed tunnel seating area warmed to a hospitable temperature with the patio heaters. The cuisine is definitely Greek and the menu is extensive, however the food was definitely overly salty and despite expecting there to be a lot of oil used the sheer amount was more than I'd expect (even my greek friend was surprised).

This is a great restaurant....varied menu, delicious food, friendly and efficient service and good value BUT the ladies toilets are dreadful. The fittings have been broken for years , the door locks don't work and although there is a sign warning you about the hot water, it is always COLD! Why do they not sort this out? I love the place but I'm not going anymore unless they improve these facilities.

Royally lo arruinó y reservó una mesa para Randall y Aubin a las 9 pm, en Soho. Duh. En cambio, apareció aquí en una oportunidad remota, y fue sentado por el amistoso equipo del frente de la casa. Nos sirvieron una comida fantástica, acabamos de regresar de Creta y lo que tuvimos fue perfecto, desde el tzatziki hasta el calamar fresco, el sabroso kebab de sheek, las gambas picantes, el halloumi a la parrilla, la suculenta panceta de cerdo y las aceitunas marinadas en casa. Simplemente genial.

Supongo que el cocinero definitivamente no es griego ni ha estado nunca en Grecia y tampoco conoce a ningún griego.La comida tenía un sabor neutro. No hay especias reales en la comida, excepto un poco de orégano y tym que ponen encima de todo.Realmente la ensalada era la mejor de la comida.Lamento decirlo, pero hay margen de mejora.

He visitado Dimitris muchas veces y siempre cumple. Visitamos un miércoles que actualmente no abre hasta las 5 pm, así que fuimos los primeros en cruzar la puerta. Sentado en el patio que me encanta, ya que tiene un verdadero ambiente de vacaciones. Sabrosa sangría blanca y el vino es realmente razonable. Pedimos demasiado, como de costumbre, pero los champiñones azules y el hummus son uno de mis favoritos. Las patatas de espinaca y la ensalada griega estaban bien, las picaduras de pescado carecían de sabor y los paquetes de queso feta estaban bien. El servicio fue excelente, una joven charló sobre planes de vacaciones y el joven caballero me animó a hablar griego con él. Una buena visita aquí es siempre una garantía para mí.

Normalmente vamos a don Marcos al lado, pero pensamos en probar este lugar. Reservamos para un domingo 17:30 para nuestro aniversario de boda y al llegar, el restaurante estaba muy tranquilo. Pedimos nuestra comida y bebidas que eran normales en el mejor de los casos y luego esperamos para hacer nuestro pedido de postre y café. Debe haber estado sentado allí durante más de media hora con vasos vacíos cuando finalmente nos dimos por vencidos y gritamos pidiendo la cuenta. Expresé cómo nos habían ignorado y no hubo absolutamente ningún reconocimiento. No volveremos, no se lo recomendaremos a familiares y amigos y cenaremos al lado en el futuro

Visitamos aquí con un amigo que nos visitaba desde Midlands. El personal era amable y todos llevaban máscaras. Nos sentamos en el patio, que era bastante lindo. Sin embargo, el ambiente era muy plano ya que no había música, así que lo hizo un poco incómodo si es honesto.La comida era muy buena, con porciones abundantes, quizás pedimos demasiado, pero nos abrimos camino a través de todo, siendo los cerditos codiciosos que somos; )Después de nuestra comida, decidimos sentarnos en la zona del bar para tomar algo. Esta fue una mala decisión. Había un hombre rudo y escabroso que entró, que claramente estaba cocido en la cara se puso de pie caminando hablando en voz alta con una pinta, no creo que ninguno de los miembros del personal realmente supiera qué hacer, lo cual es bastante justo si no tienen se entrenó en qué hacer. Luego entró otro hombre y tuvieron una discusión y luego ambos fueron al baño - ¿Trato de drogas? Cuando regresaron al bar, el scally procedió a frotar cocaína en sus encías unas 3 veces.Tal vez un código de vestimenta, o incluso el personal de la puerta podría evitar que sucedan cosas como esta, nos sentimos muy incómodos y decidimos irnos después de nuestras bebidas. No fue la mejor impresión de Manchester para nuestro amigo.

Fui a comer con mi esposa a Dimitri's. Estaba muy tranquilo ya que acababa de abrir. He estado aquí antes y sabía qué esperar. La comida era fantástica como siempre. Probé muchos platos diferentes y todos fueron muy buenos. Ojalá haya más gente ya que es un gran lugar para comer.

Gran servicio, no me malinterpretes. Se detiene ahí. Comida fría, insípida y recocida. Como un griego, pensé que debería presentarles mi comida a mis amigos. Vergonzoso honestamente. Teníamos el meze de carne kalamata y el de pescado. Pescado 100% mejor que la carne. Pollo seco recocido, panceta fría condimentada y recocida, albóndigas y algunas salchichas quemadas y todo estaba extremadamente frío. Me preguntaron cómo estaba todo y fui honesto. Pero nadie pareció molestarse, lo cual no me importa, pero trabajo en hostelería y creo que la retroalimentación es la herramienta más valiosa para mejorar. Entonces, como griego de Kalamata, recomendaría algunos cambios importantes en este plato. Volvería solo por bebidas.

Nada que destacar por la comida. Tuvimos una selección de salsas, carnes y platos de pescado, de los que destacaría las salsas sobre todo. Los platos de carne son, con mucho, los peores de la mesa. El pez aguantaba, pero nada mejor que otros competidores. Dimitri's es un aspirante a la gastronomía mediterránea. Podría funcionar con comedores no familiares, pero nunca engañaría a los nativos de la zona. Personal atento.

We visited dimitris on Saturday night as lockdown was opening up. Social distancing was in place all tables apart. The food is just so delicious and so fresh , we got a mixture of dishes all great portion sizes and each is absolutely gorgeous! Also very reasonably priced a table full of food two rounds of alcoholic drinks for 4 people at £80 we absolutely love it here and cant wait to come back !

We visited today . We stumbled across this restaurant because I am type 1 diabetic and was at 2.2 sugar . The waiter promptly took me to a table and I requested a glass of coke urgently . This waiter went over and beyond his job . I wanted to say Thankyou . I will be returning for food very soon . And after reading reviews on here I cannot wait .

I love Dimitri's - whether for a meal or even just a drink, the place is full of atmosphere. The food is delicious - the fish kebab is incredible! I would definitely recommend to groups looking for a place to share a meal.

Hicimos una reserva hace un par de semanas para 8 personas a las 7 pm, llegamos temprano, lo cual no fue un problema ya que tomamos una copa en la zona del bar. A las 6 . 45 nos llevaron a nuestra mesa que estaba abajo lejos de todo el ambiente y frío. La mesa en la que estábamos sentados era pequeña, después de mencionarle a la camarera que podíamos llevarnos arriba, ella se fue y nos dijo que no había nada disponible hasta las 9 pm, tomamos la decisión conjunta de irnos, no nos preguntaron por qué, terminamos nuestras bebidas arriba y se fue, el servicio era inexistente, no puedo comentar sobre la comida, pero dudo que volvamos, esto no estropeó nuestra noche de celebraciones ya que encontramos un pequeño restaurante español a un par de minutos a pie, que era encantador. He tenido que calificar 1 ya que 0 no estaba disponible.

Buen lugar. Mucho personal y no demasiado atento. Elegimos 5 de una amplia selección de mezzes y tapas. Recomendaría las albóndigas de ternera, champiñones al ajillo y gambas saganaki. La ensalada tabouleh fue un poco decepcionante ya que no había aderezo, así que fue muy sencillo! . La sangría fue excelente. En general, tuvimos una tarde encantadora y probaremos otras opciones de comida la próxima vez que vayamos.

All perfect, the dips, the salads, fish on stick, soft fried calamari, spanakopita, keftedes but in essence they were soutzoukakia, all delicious and well served and presented. Not to be missed if you are visiting Manchester!

Came as walk ins around 7pm. Seated straight away but in the downstairs area. The atmosphere was a little odd, very bright too. We ordered drinks which took around 15/20 minutes. The food was good but not really anything to write home about.

Called without booking for lunch today and as before, was not disappointed! Food excellent as was the service. Absolutely delicious feta cheese parcels with tatziki along with fried hallumi chilli sauce followed by chicken stuffed with feta and spinach on a bed a crushed potatoes - wow! Sadly, too much for us both but we’ll be back to try again!

Gave the place a second chance after coming here a couple of years agoThis is not very Greek, think the staff were polish ? The food was cold and covered in grease , it was expensive and still as bad as a few years ago.Save your money and go elsewhere !

Fuimos aquí para una comida previa al concierto con amigos. Gran variedad de tapas y Meze. Me gusta mucho el ambiente en el restaurante, en parte en una calle cubierta, muchos calentadores para mantenerte caliente.Gran menú, precios razonables y tamaños de porción. 4 Meze fue suficiente para mi esposa y para mí.el bar en el frente usa barriles como mesa, de nuevo, es un lugar muy agradable para tomar una copa, una buena variedad de cervezas y cervezas.

Visited with colleagues on a Monday night. Menu is a strange mix of Greek and Spanish food but then that gives you plenty options for people in a group including vegetarians.

I Love this restaurant,its so full of relaxed atmosphere,the staff are very attentive and relaxed with their approach,but the food is amazing,true authentic Greek food,its one of Manchesters solid restaurant been around for years and long may it continue.I love to see people and places doing well when they put so much onto what they do,actually take pride in it.Will be back again without a doubt.

The food was disappointing. The paella tasted awful, and the food was really overpriced (7/8 pounds for one chicken skewer, etc.) The atmosphere was non existent. Some staff were questionable which set a bad tone at the outset. There were better options for us locally.
