Delicious, high quality and very cheap breakfast and friendly service. Scrambled egg roll had good quality bread and plenty of egg.

Popped in on the way back to station, after a lovely break in Edinburgh. Clean, cosey little cafe, friendly staff, very reasonably priced and best of all - food was great! Proper Scottish food (haggis, lorne sausage etc). Well worth a visit before you jump on train.

We stopped in here for a breakfast before heading home on the train from Haymarket Station. We ordered bacon rolls, haggis rolls and the breakfast special roll which came with tea. Great tasting non greasy food at a great price. We were able to sit at the table and chairs set in the window, great for people watching. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented.

We recently stayed in Edinburgh for a couple of nights (myself, husband and 2 children) After originally planning on having breakfast at a restaurant around the corner from Dimitris we changed our mind when we walked in and were greeted with terrible customer service, their breakfast was £9.99, which we were aware of, however, when we asked about a kids menu/portion the waitress was really unhelpful and rude so we left. As we wondered around the corner my husband spotted Dimitris so we popped in. I don’t usually do reviews but it is quite small and could be missed! My husband and I paid £4.99 each for bacon, egg, beans, sausage and toast. It was really tasty, not greasy or thrown together and the service was great. The kids had toast with jam. It’s obviously a hit with the locals on their way to work etc. as there were lots of orders to take out but even though it was busy, we continued to receive friendly service throughout.

Used to occasionally grab a breakfast roll if I was in town and passing. Now I'm working in the West End so today thought I'd reacquaint myself. Great selection of fillings, at a fairly reasonable cost, all made to order and your choice of bread/rolls. Also tray bakes various (at a very reasonable price). Also do soup and baked potatoes. Some space to sit in, but predominantly a take away. There is a national chain next door now, but you'll not go wrong going to Dimitri's. Will be back.

It is a simple, little place with fresh sandwich and coffee. We had a lovely lunch here. Freshly done sandwiches on a choice of bread.

Found in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh Dimitris offers nice food and drinks at reasonable prices. You can eat in but most people seem to buy on the go which is fine as service is quick. Nice selection of toasted subs available, baked tatties, delicious baked cake treats. Loads of places to get food in a big place like Edinburgh, lots of them will be over priced or horrible or both. Dimitris is worth a stop off so give them a chance.

Looking for a quick and good value coffee and breakfast roll, then this place is fine, friendly service and close to Haymarket station and trams. Enjoyed our bacon rolls and drinks while staying at the nearby hub hotel. Not a restaurant though just a coffee and sandwich bar.

I have popped in for lunch to this lovely little sandwich place. It is not fancy or elegant, but they do fresh, sandwiches from scratch on your choice of baguette, focaccia etc. I had a brie salad sandwich on a malted, seeded bun. It was rather substantial. Plus a lovely lentil soup for £3.90 in total. It was a bargain. Very nice!

I often come here when I am hungry or just need some cheering up. The staff are absolutely fantastic and I can always rely on them for my turkey and egg mayo roll and lentil soup. Thanks guys.

As I go wandering about, I do try to keep an eye open for different places to take my breaks. And, yesterday, I popped into this cheerful little cafe, with three tables and copies of The Metro. The coffee was good and the bacon filled generously into a very tasty and very fresh bread roll. Nice and cheerful staff, and a window big enough to watch the World go by! I recommend it!

Stopped here for two takeaway paninis. Had the Aphrodite and the Artemis. Aphrodite is mozzarella and tomato with aioli, Artemis was cheddar and bacon with aioli. £5,30 total. Made with love, and loved them back. Coffee and baked potatoes available, too. Open for breakfast and lunch only.

Great fresh food with friendly quick service and at a good price too. Always like to use small independent shops instead of a big chains (horrible Greggs next door) as I feel like my custom is appreciated. Will definitely be back 👍

Popped in here this morning for a roll'n'square sausage. Roll was stale and sausage was the cardboard freezer centre type. Wait for it £3.65 for the pleasure !!!! (note this is next door to Greggs , £2 for the same order). Had the pleasure of sitting in ; place was freezing cold and had to listen to the staff discussing with an obvious regular about her cat rolling in fox excrement. Delightful!

Gracias Dimitris!

We were staying round the corner in the Tune hotel for a couple of nights and found this place when looking for somewhere for breakfast.Really good cooked breakfast - fried egg, bacon, sausages, black pudding, haggis, beans, toast - they were happy to substitute more sausage instead of the fried egg - friendly staff and great value.(Yes I sound like a shill but honestly we were up doing the uni tour with our son and this was a great place to line the stomach for the day ahead!)

I won't lie, I went in because of the pub name (it has an interesting historical background) but the food was absolutely first class. Bangers and mash were on point and the servers were absolutely fantastic. The prices were good, too. 10/10 recomendation.

The selection of whisky is great and the food was alright but felt it was way overpriced for the quality we received. We were also charged £8 twice for one portion of the haggis bon bons (apparently this is some kind of a service charge, ridiculous we had to pay double for one small dish) Seems like a tourist trap to be honest and I don't think we will be back. There are so many better bars with more reasonable prices and better service.

We was on a short trip in Edinburgh and this place was the best to breakfast! So tasty and handmade food and drink.
