We hadn't been for a very long time. Came for the special menu on Sunday evening. They were kind enough to keep the window table for us as requested. The food was absolutely superb. I am one who cannot do spice, no problem the waiter said. The starter and main were both so mild and tasty at the same time. They even made nargis kebab for 2 of our party. Staff were very antentive and all 4 of us can't wait to return.

Ordered lamb chops with chips naan etc lamb was so over cooked I couldn't even chew it the chips were hard and cold won't make the mistake of ordering here again

The Bridgnorth area has ample options for Indian Cuisine, and over the last couple of years, we have in the main used another restaurant in the town for our meals out and take aways. We fancied a change and went to the Dilraz, and ordered the combination dishes, which is a fantastic addition to a menu and a real point of difference. The food was absolutely spot on, across the 4 curry options we ordered. This was up there with one of the best meals we've had in an Indian restaurant full stop, and the couple on the table next to us, were making exactly the same comments. Needless to say, they have won us over, and we'll be ordering our next take away with them. Keep smashing it!!

First time here and we were really impressed. Very friendly staff made us really welcome. Good choice of dishes at reasonable prices. The food was amazing and really nicely presented. A lovely evening and we will definitely be going there again soon.

We stumbled across Dilraz today, what an amazing experience! We ordered a garlic chilli chicken, chicken Achari, chicken biryani and all the meals were exceptional. On top of that the awareness of catering for allergies was phenomenal, it was normalised, reassuring and just a delightful experience. Please visit this wonderful business we are so impressed by the quality of food and passion for ingredients.

Without a doubt one of the best curries I've ever had similarly my wife's Try the chef's specials, they are brilliant and well worth trying

Really great food and I eat in several Indian restaurants around the country every month a day have done for 20 years with my job. This will take some beating.

Our meals were beautiful, the service is very attentive & the manager showed excellence & care in all he did. Wonderful tasty meal - will be back!

Instead of a takeaway, we decided on a very wet January night to dine in at the Dilraz. What a wonderful experience. We used to dine in here on a very regular basis, but haven’t been for a while., it has been very tastefully decorated, the service was second to none. The crockery was all matching. The food was beautifully presented with a few lovely touches and was excellent. Very enjoyable evening. We will be back.

I love Dilraz. The food is so tasty and the staff are so friendly too especially the delivery driver. Always delivers the food with a big smile on his face - it’s why I keep coming back.

Probably one of the last times we will use Dilraz, unfortunately. As with a previous order, it arrived late and when I called to ask where the order was, as it was showing as delivered, I was told it was outside. It wasn’t. I was called back and told the delivery driver was on the way. Food was lukewarm at best, and was obviously sat in a delivery vehicle for a while. Appreciate the contact from the restaurant but still will not use again.

Such a lovely experience. Food was delicious, but the service made it. Just visiting the area so may not be able to come back anytime soon, but 100% recommend this restaurant. Decor and cleanliness is spot on too.

Food ordered for 20:50 messaged 20mins before this to say the food was ready, but not in a position to collect, so rang to and told they would keep it hot when collected. The food was cold, which was disappointing.

Food was late and cold, the portions were meagre and for £10 i got 7 pieces of scampi with some cold chips. Unacceptable.

I paid what I brought for and I was only given my curry and starter my egg fried rice wasn’t given to me and they didn’t give me my kee manan so I just had curry on its own and so did my son.

The food was just awful! It arrived cold and was tasteless and the yoghurt sauce had gone off. Very disappointed. It was sent out and arrived in good time which was the only consolation.

Food was lovely. Very tasty. Could have been warmer but that might have been because it was late arriving. Definitely eat here again if we are back this way. Recommended.

Unfortunately the food really wasn’t nice. The tandoori mixed grill looked more like a starter, the meat was dry and not a lot in the container, for £11.95 it really wasn’t value for money.The chicken in the curry’s were dry. Chips tasted old and reheated. Naan breads burnt underneath. We ordered here on Tuesday and really enjoyed it but last nights meal wasn’t good. A shame as it was an early mother’s day treat.

Delicious food and excellent service! Took quite a while to arrive but that may be a reflection of the preparation that went into the meal. Only one minor criticism was that the pickle tray could have included more pickle and less chutney and raita. Overall, very good indeed!

The food was cold and the tandoori chicken was dry and tough, The papadums were burnt and the onion Bhaji was tasteless, overall it was very poor.

Written review previously for Dilraz, this is the only restaurant I use for either take away or eating in. Staff are fantastic and their delivery services is awesome. Can’t fault the food which is always high quality and reasonably priced

Ordered at 6.00 received at Just before 7.30 again late and Luke warm. Delivery driver said he had done 3 deliveries before he got to us. No apology. So no wonder it was nearer cold!!! Not sure I can be bothered again. Got to say that the taste chicken in low town have never let us down before so although not a curry a much more professional service and very good food.

We wanted to have a nice meal out on New Year's Eve and decided to visit our old favourite Dilraz that we had been unable to visit for a while. We couldn't have made a better choice. Staff are pleasant and attentive and the food simply divine. Everything from the poppadoms and dips to the mains and sides were superb quality and very tasty, The restaurant was busy with both people eating in and takeaways, obviously still incredibly popular.Fantastic - can't wait to visit again.

This restaurant goes out of its way to accommodate my food intolerances. The food always tastes amazing and I feel total trust in them to ensure my food is suitable for me.

Lovely food! One of the best we've had.

I always use here, but the last couple months it’s been getting longer to get delivered and foods arriving cold. Whether it’s been sitting waiting to leave or on multiple drops it’s not acceptable. I’d wait for good food, but if it’s not being cooked fresh for the delivery driver or being carted all the way round town before it arrives I simply won’t use anymore. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but now it’s happened every time I’ve ordered. Shame really. All the best for the business.

Food was very late, also swimming in grease and oil and everything tasted fishy. I want a refund

For the third time, in spite of pre- ordering in the morning, the delivery was over 30 minutes later than ordered and the food was cold and needed re- heating!!

We ordered a delivery online with a group of friends at 6:20pm with a confirmed delivery time of 7:30pm. We rang the Dilraz to chase the delivery at 8:00pm, which we were told it would be another fifteen minutes. With still no delivery we rang back again at 8:30pm, which we were then informed they were cooking it now! It was now well over two hours since we originally placed the order and we refused the offer of a free meal, as by then we had lost our appetites and it had ruined the evening. We will not be using their service again. Reading previous “Terrible” reviews, other people have experienced the same problem with ordering delivery of food.

Some of the Food was cold onion bhajis was burned and hard,, nan bread cold chips cold and greasy under cooked would not use just eat again for this restaurant/takeaway

We needed somewhere that offered vegan and vegetarian dishes - the menu was extensive and suitable for both of us. The dishes were hot, and well presented. The service was fantastic. Will be back, and as a bonus they are on Meerkat and tastercard.

Lovely, friendly, polite and great food

We only found this place by mistake but we were so glad we did. Even without a reservation we were welcomed in and after a deep clean of a table we were seated. The menu was quite good and I liked the concept of split curry’s (two different curries making up a decent sized main course) the food itself was very tasty and presented really well.

Takeaway ordered and delivered via Email. So easy to do. Unexpected popadums a bonus. A really tasty meal and decent portion size. One of the best we’ve had for a long time. Love that you can mix main courses. I’m sure we’ll become regulars.

Usually very good but tonight it was dreadful ! Tasteless Prawn Puri, the prawns were seriously overcooked and dried out, the sauce tasteless The korma had an odd taste too.

So it is great service And the stuff are amazing I just struggle with the food They put far too much sugar in their curry I have tried 4 so far and only madras doesn’t have a bag of sugar in there Other than that really good

We order from Dilraz quite often, the taste of the food is normally on point along with everything else, this time around was disappointing, the food was over 30 minutes late, two plain naans was sent rather than the naans we ordered, the food wasn't very warm... Considering we ordered on a Tuesday I'm surprised by this... Cheeky Tuesday lived up to its name with the 5 pounds we saved being used as an excuse to cut corners. Like I said we order from Dilraz quite often, let's hope it doesn't happen again.

Chicken cold and tasteless, not impressed at all.

Ordered for 8pm with over an hours notice and it arrived at nearly 8.20 and was Luke warm. The nan was cold. And the korma very watery. Very disappointing unfortunately

We've been going here for years as the food was lovely and it was a bit cheaper than some of the other Indian restaurants in Bridgnorth. The sauces are always lovely but you get less and less protein over time I would imagine to keep the prices down.I ordered a King Prawn Ceylon with boiled rice and queried with the waiter regarding whether there was an error with my order as I only had three prawns. Chef advises he says the dish only comes with three king prawns.The lack of protein is really noticeable with a ceylon, literally I had only sauce (no onions, peppers or veggies) with three prawns sitting in it. So I basically had plain rice with three prawns in sauce for £14.50.My son had 3 pieces of chicken in his dish and was rather miffed when he realised my husband had 5 pieces of chicken in his.Sad to say, I think we'll be going to another restaurant from now on.

Tried Dilraz takeaway as we weren’t confident about eating out during the pandemic. The food was Good value and enabled us to try their ‘half and half’ dishes.

Food quality and taste was poor. Seafood did not taste fresh. There was a taste of Tin and a strong fish smell. Prawn puri was a bit stale

We eat regularly in Bridgnorth with friends and visited the Dilraz on spec. Owing to current restrictions we were looking for a quiet restaurant. On entering we were greeted in a very friendly and courteous manner, temperatures tested and asked for contact details. The decor and layout is very impressive with quality furnishings and fittings. Everywhere was clean with hand sanitisers near the washrooms. Even the kitchen door is see through. Service was swift and we were soon served our meals on hot quality dinner ware. The first mouthful proved the food to be excellent with all diners and this was the case until the meal was finished. Staff were very attentive and friendly throughout making us feel very comfortable. The bill was surprising competitive having paid more for inferior food in the past. One of the best Asian meals we have ever had. We shall return willingly. Soon.

Feel I must add this review even though it was a takeaway. Took 2 1/2 hours to arrive and I am 3 miles away, food was totally cold, onion bhaji was actually inedible, driver was rude......steer clear !!

We really enjoyed our meal here, during our weekend break in Bridgnorth. The food was superb: piping hot, accurate spice levels and good sized portions. We had 4 very different main dishes and all were very good. Also great service at well-spaced tables. The only negative was that we weren't staying long enough to go again!

The chicken was not cooked, the food arrived cold and there wasn’t even any cheese on my garlic naan bread. Disappointed.

food arrived cold, the chicken in the balti was very dry and hard like it was a few days old the chips were not fresh, look and tasted like reheated chips that were cold, the poppadom was bendy not crisp, the nan bread was burnt in the middle and around the edges and the onion salad was soggy, definitely a few days old. Very disappointed threw most of it away. I've eaten from there before and been happy but the last two times the quality has fallen worse with each occasion. I won't be using them again.

I literally ordered on Just Eat & I picked it up in 15 minutes when it said 30 minutes waiting time! The man on the desk was really helpful and cheery & the food was fantastic! Beautiful chips and the Keema rice that I had never tried before was beautiful! 100% recommend!

Enjoyed a lovely meal - all food from start to finish was exceptionally good. Can particularly recommend the sweet chilli king prawns as a starter! We both had combination dishes and all four dishes were of a very high quality with very tender lamb and moist chicken. Service was very good. Restaurant was busy but we were well away from the next table, hand sanitiser as you enter and temperature taken. Been going there for over five years and never had a bad meal. Highly recommended.

Fantastic meal out (banquet deal on a Sunday is great value for £11.95 each). All staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic. 5* doesn’t seem enough for such lovely staff!! Will visit again (like we don’t come every week!)
