Dilnaz Leyland in South Ribble

One of many takeaways from here ... and we are all quick to critisise less than perfect... but, as an Indian food lover, tonight's offering was the pinnacle of recent takeaways. Clearly, whoever is putting this together, really knows what they are doing! (Especially the mixed tilla Bhuna) ...Fabulous food, well cooked and sublime spice blend. Best I've had for some years.. really. Thanks Dilnaz Leyland ! (Not sure if same as the previous BBridge?) .. would definitely recommend, Chris... 05.10.24.... yet another 5* provision... great food, perfectly cooked and great value... thanks Dilnaz 👍

The food here is fabulous, the service good and you can take your own drinks. It is a small venue that is a bit tired but flavours are fantastic.

Absolute gem of a place. Visited several times now and had a couple of takeaways and I can’t fault it. Very reasonable and taking your own bottle is ideal. The naans are like pillows. I keep forgetting to take photos but will remember next time. This is now our go to place for eating out and takeaways.

The best Indian in Leyland! We go all the time and the food is always amazing. The staff go above and beyond and very reasonably priced.

Shame you cant have a beer with your curry

Not a bad Curry. However had better. The chicken nuggets for my daughter were lime bullets. Appalling! Had to put some chicken nuggets in the air fryer for her. Will not order from here again. Back to the old faithful for us !

Food was good but delivery POOR, delivery driver went to wrong house, he didn't get an answer so he left it on the door step and was going back to his car, I only caught him because our ring doorbell picked him up, I asked where my delivery was and he said I've left it on the doorstep of that house, I said that's not where I live. If I hadn't called him back I would not have received my food but had paid for it. SORT YOUR DRIVERS OUT.

Tried to order numerous times online and I think once out of 5 or 6 times have I actually received food..my order is always accepted and then cancelled 20-30 mins before it's due to be delivered. Ve even messaged them numerous times and was told this wouldnt happen again .Wouldn't recommend

Went for a meal last night with friends and partner they ordered early bird meals whilst I ordered chicken tikka vindaloo. My partner ordered stuffed mushrooms being vegetarian the stuffed mushrooms came out with meat in them advised the staff and they said they've always had meat asked them to check their menu as it says it's just spiced veg, staff didn't seem interested in the slightest brought out some garlic mushrooms instead which weren't great. BYOB but it was like pulling teeth to get glasses staff didn't seem interested at all. Felt like at times it was inconvenience that's we were there, strange for such a small restaurant. Mains arrived and all the curries were pretty tasteless one of our party only had a few bites of their chicken tikka masala and left. Overall would give this place a miss, nowhere near as good as the place they had in bamber bridge. Won't be coming back...

The place and people are very nice have excellent service and food

The food was good although I ordered boiled rice with my meal and got basmati. The guy that served us was polite and run off his feet.

Absolutely awful, up there with the worst Indian restaurant experiences i have ever had. Poor service, bland overpriced curry. Not much different than a microwave curry.

Lovely food and reasonably priced. Very nice staff. One thing that could be improved is the lock on the toilet door - didn't lock properly. Also only one person toilet, as quite a small place. Apart from that, I would give 5 stars for everything else.

Ordered on just eat and paid just short of £40 for 2 curry’s with pilau rice and lamb chop starter. Lamb chops were cremated and went in the bin. 8 dry pieces of chicken in the madras and 6 king prawns in the masala which was tasteless. No popodoms but sent onion an chutney. Phoned and spoke to manager who apologised and said would resend order but 3 hrs later nothing. Won’t order again ever!!

Ordered a delivery for 7.30 which arrived on the dot. Food was still hot and there was loads of it. 2 x onion bhajis( 1 portion is 3 bhajis) 2 x tandori chicken and salad, dips, poppadoms, peshawari naan and a chefs recommended curry with boiled rice £26.70. This,was the best Indian I've ever had, highly recommend

Place order for 7am food never turned up rang them at 8.15 said ring delivery guy and ting back never did . Please avoid if want food

The food is great, you bring your own alcohol

We only picked up a takeaway here and previously we have eaten in. If you are able to eat in I would recommend that. The service is great, you take your own alcohol but staff supply the glasses and the food is tasty. We waited a while for our takeaway as we miscalculated the pick up time but we were able to sit at a table and watch the comings and goings of the takeaway delivery drivers. Definitely worth a visit, tasty food and very friendly staff.

On the website it states dilnaz opens at 4.30, we were going out so needed our takeaway to arrive at 5.30 and ordered at 4.30. We were not sure that the order had gone through so my husband rang to check, trying for 20 minutes before anyone answered, it had been. Later we got an email saying it would be delivered 5.55-6.10, not ideal but just about doable. At 6.10 I rang and was told it was coming out now. I explained we had to go out and needed it. My husband rang again at 6.25 and said we had to cancel it. The person on the phone hung up on him. It arrived at 6.35 just as we were leaving (already 20 minutes later than planned). As we were going to a gin tasting and had had no food we paid and took it, wolfed half down and ended up late. My understanding is a driver didn’t turn up. At no point did we get an apology or an opportunity to cancel our order or the alternative of picking the food up. The food was lovely but we were too rushed and stressed to enjoy it. Terrible customer service and I won’t be ordering food from them again.

I don’t often post things but I really have to say that after lots of recommendations about Dilnaz Leyland we decided to try them. I have to say it is literally one of the best curry’s I’ve had in a long time. From ordering, the chap was really pleasant and inviting on the phone, the order arrived in great time, piping hot and every part of it was excellent, and extremely good value. I have to say we will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them to everyone, what a great business, friendly staff and good food ticks every box! Thanks again Dilnaz, keep up the great work 🍛👌

Marked high on our favourite restaurants. Excellent food and friendly staff make a visit to this restaurant a memorable experience. No licence so remember to bring your own booze.

Takeaway.. delivery. Spot on.. could still taste the cauliflower in the bhaji. Very very gud . The lamb was super tender. If I'm honest the rice to me tasted slightly burned bit was still most excellent. Will defo be ordering again. Thank u. My first time there and didn't disappoint.

Had the early bird menu £14.95 starter main course poppadoms chuckney two sides.didnt skimp on the portions .great value for money. They are not licensed so take your own drinks which I suppose this is a good thing your not paying over the odds for drinks. Staff were lovely. Only downfall I asked for a coffee but they said we don't do hot drinks. Will definitely return the early bird menu is good value.

I have tried the top 5 rated curry restaurants in Leyland/Preston and none of them compare to the food here.

Do not order sauces you only get half a tub totally ripped off. Spent 17 pound and still hungary. Sorry Dilnaz you have lost my custom.

Restaurant has reasonable choices. I ordered fish curry (salmon & prawns with peppers) but it wasn't salmon most likely cod, very few peppers but lots of prawns. I did comment on the lack of salmon but nothing came of it. However, it was delicious. No licence, so TYOB .

Hi there 2 ladies here. Decided to order from Dilnaz Leyland tonight. Chicken Dansak and Pilau rice. You know us we are not big eaters and what we got was sufficient. The food was excellent as always but we will be visiting Bamber Bridge shortly

First time we’ve ordered food with Dilnaz. Service was excellent; good portions, fresh, on time and delivered piping hot. I requested a dish not on the menu (paneer main) and this was happily accommodated. Very happy that they deliver to Croston too ☺️

Honestly the best food i’ve had in a very long time, 10/10 service. Best curry i’ve had in Leyland by far.
