Dilnaz in South Ribble

Great food, although the Raita was a tad too spicy for me. Very friendly staff and well laid out tables. And the linen napkins were very welcome. I get soooo fed up of paper ones.

They were fantastic they accommodated a party of 12 people at very short notice, it was our first time there but it won’t be the last the food was very good indeed everyone enjoyed it.

Excellent food, the best I've had outside of my last visit to Goa .

Under new management since beginning of December! Organisation, service, approach all very chaotic . Quality of food and availability of drinks are not up to the standard of the former management viz Dil. Big improvements must be made before I return. Such a shame !

Dilnaz, now that is under a malayali management, gives us more excitement in exploring the indian cuisines, especially south indian which is not very common in the locality. Will update more after visiting them in few weeks from now. Wishing them all the very best to do a wonderful business.

(Delivery) The food had very little flavour and the rice was watery. Forgot the onion bhajis and said they would deliver them seperately but then never turned up! Much better Indian takeaways in the area

After going through an online order that amounted to best part of £20 for one person, they then required £2 delivery and then a 50p service charge? How to rip your customers off in one easy lesson . Cancelled order due to greed . They are not the only game in town .

Had a lovely birthday celebration at The Dilnaz tonight! 🎂 The food was just delicious (the chicken and lamb were melt-in-the-mouth, the curries we had were so tasty 👌) and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Glad we went, can't wait to go back!!! 😊

We walked here from the hotel as we didn’t want to eat there. We were not disappointed. Staff very helpful, however they did forget one of my food items but once I reminded them it was brought to the table promptly. We had no complaints. The portions were good and very filling

Amazing service,friendly lovely food relaxed atmosphere

Ordered food from here for the first time, really unimpressed. £40 order straight in the bin. Chicken hoppers, pakauras and bahjis greasy, soggy and inedible, the rice was dry didn’t seem fresh. Then to top it off the chicken tikka roll had the smallest amount of chicken/salad and part of some paper packaging mixed inside it, it wasn’t part of its packaging as it was wrapped in foil. Bad just Bad!!!

Just had a delivery from here. It was delicious. Cannot wait for you to open on Hough lane leyland.

A proper "curry night out" experience!!

Decent enough for an early Tuesday evening. Both Madras and Vindaloo slightly lacking in flavour, we thought, and the naans were doughy. Nice surroundings, though, and the staff were nice enough. Would go again, but can't see Dilnaz becoming my favourite curry house.

Food was delicious, service was excellent, lovely staff

Not often I post a bad review but this was awful in every aspect. Ordering was a shambles and had no logic to it, which ended up in us having missed dishes. Food was average at best, wife's samosa was still frozen in the middle creating yet another delay while it was redone. Drink service was slow. Food service was slow. The inlaws love it, but after this we will not be back in a hurry.

UPDATE: We have been waiting for 2 and a half hours now. We have had excuse after excuse. Dreadful.... As a loyal customer I am shocked by how far they have sunk... 😢 We have been going to this restaurant, under a variety of names and owners, for 20 years. In those years it's been mostly excellent, with a few periods where it's gone down hill. In its current incarnation as Dilnaz it is excellent! Friendly, delicious food, knowledgeable and helpful staff. They understood my wife's wheat allergy and were able to advise her thoroughly. Definitely highly recommended!

The food was great, the issue we had was that the place was freezing so you didn't feel you could stay, plus the guy who served us was lovely but to Keen, literally as we had finished our plates were taken, even reaching over people who were eating too take the plates from others acruss the table it's just not the right customer service, I appreciate afficency but really give us 5 mins between courses before you take the dishes. It's hard because he was lovely but really needs to leave people alone just for a few minutes now. 😁Get that right and the heating and we will return.

Went for the first time, last night and it was fantastic. Very tasty, great naan breads and the missus said that it was the best garlic chilli chicken she's ever had.

Ordered a takeaway this evening I have never had an Indian meal less like an Indian meal absolutely tasteless, no spice more like lamb hotpot. Never again

Visited yesterday early evening. Had the early bird choice of menu. Great food and good service. The lamb in the tikka massalla was really succulent - the best we have had in many meals elsewhere. Cannot recommend this restaurant more highly and always a pleasure to eat there.

We are regular customers here. We always enjoy the food, the service and the experience. The staff are so polite, friendly and efficient. But tonite they reached a new level... the food was exceptional.

1st time ordering after seeing so many delicious looking photos on their FB page and 10000% wasn't disappointed WOW that was the best tasting Lamb I've ever had, fell apart with a fork and the Jalfrezi was just perfect even got an extra poppadom than ordered and the chutneys OMG will deffo be ordering again Thank you Dilnaz for a taste experience 👍 5*****

Cancelled order 5 minutes before delivery. No explanation and couldn't get hold of them on the phone. Order at your own peril

Failed delivery!! Delivery due at 8.05pm message received at 8pm advising ‘problem with order’, unable to resolve problem as no one answering the phone. Left with no alternative but to request a refund & cook ourselves. Moral of the story give them a wide birth!

Delivery is really bad, we ordered at half 6 and it's 8:15 And it's only just arrived. What's made it even more disappointing is they've missed out on something from our order! We paid 43 pound for them not to get our order right. Late and the order was wrong. I rang to notify them that they had missed something from their order and said it would be 5 mins yet it never came. So they've initially robbed us of some money. We did used to visit this restaurant a lot but we have decided it is not worth ordering again

We ordered a delivery this evening. Their telephone manner and service was excellent. The food arrived on time and was all hot. Even added a personal touch by adding a note hope you enjoy your food. The food was exceptional and tasted delicious. We will definitely be ordering from you again.

Really lovely modern and clean place with a nice famy feel...we went with our 6 year old and 2 year old and they were both very well accommodated.

Went to have a quiet meal. Party of around 20 at a long table arrangement for a birthday party. They got quite rowdy which was fine it's a party. However.... as soon as they left at 9pm, all the waiters started dragging the numerous tables back to original places. They made a huge noise and made eating there quite uncomfortable. After 25 minutes they were done. I was ready to pay, and the man doing my transaction literally grabbed my debit card and turned away from me and did the contactless transaction which failed as he did it too quickly. As it failed he walked past me and stood blocking the door announcing loudly that it failed. I then took the device and put my card in the slot and the transaction went through. The food was mediocre and the service bland. I for one will never go back.
