Was in for dinner with my dad and brother in law for Christmas. Service was excellent. Food was really good too. Can’t fault it. Well priced. Wood return.

Steak pie and starters were lovely. Really nice food and great service. All cutlery nice and clean. A wee Gem found in Cowdenbeath will be back.

A small get-together for a birthday. Had three courses and all very tasty and a good selection as well. Table booked in advance and would advise this as it got busy on a Friday evening. Nice layout and the staff were very attentive and friendly.

Came here with the family, everyone had a lovely meal, served be friendly staff. Menu was excellent with a wide choice for all dietary needs. Children made very welcome . Will definitely be back again soon.

We ate here last week. And we ate here very regularly before covid with very little to complaint about. Last week we stayed safe and ordered pub food classics (steak pie and Balmoral Chicken). Great and no probs. But such dishes are simple to prepare and difficult to go wrong...... We also went back a couple of days later and the same. Basic food such as macaroni .....perfect. cajun chicken...just so bland. A pattern is emerging here. So today we had chicken fajitas that maybe requires a bit more culinary artistry. But frankly what we got was chicken fried with onions and peppers and not much else. Really disappointed with the food today. There was no fajita spice to our chicken fajitas. Bland and basic and little that challenged the palate. The kitchen just can't seem to do scything above and beyond basic pub food! Staff still great. Ambience and surroundings still great. But food disappointing tonight. The strength of this place that should put it above other eateries in Cowdenbeath should be to do the food above and beyond basic pub food. I'm not seeing that at the moment. So if you want steak pie....great! If you want Balmoral Chicken .. great! Macaroni chicken even....great. But anything more adventurous that requires real kitchen skill....then I fear you may be disappointed. Great potential. But some work to be done here!

We were visiting Lochore Meadows but it was rainy and my 2 young daughters were soggy and grumpy! Thought we'd come here to get them a hot chocolate, well what a find! We got lovely hot chocolates, 4 delicious homemade deserts and a really friendly service. Thank you for saving the day!

We visited as part of a friends weekend away to watch the football. The bar has a good and friendly atmosphere, is clean and well set out. We only stayed for a couple of drinks but will be back again.

The food is gorgeous. iv tried almost everything and love it all. They have the most amazing cocktails some i had never tried before and so tasty and cheap!!!. Great atmosphere and massive selection of alcoholic drinks

We visited for a family meal prior to Christmas and we all enjoyed the visit the standard of service was excellent the food itself was well cooked and presented well the service was quick and attentive the atmosphere within the restaurant is ambient and warming also all the staff were friendly there was no negative issues

I have been here a few times and it is the best VFM - public bar at front, cocktail bar in the middle and fabulous restaraunt at the back. You eat (really good menu and food delicious in large portions) and drink and cannot believe the bill at the end - it's magic. Well worth a visit.

Had lunch for my wife and myself yesterday (Satursay 30th) very decent meal and good freindly service. Only downside was the delapitated state of the toilet, surely something can be done to improve this, broken toilet seat, no lock on door, this can be an easy fix, c'mon Diamonds you can do better!!!!!!

Please note this is a review of the newly opened cocktail bar....I've lived in Cowdenbeath most of my adult life and this is one pub I've never ever been in however after a refurb and change of ownership my friend and I thought we would give it a go....keep it local and we love cocktails...anyway we were shown to the bar by the bouncer which was different. It's a small area situated off to the right of the main pub area...very blingy everything sparkled, the wall paper, the bar, the pictures, the mirrors...it began to give me a headache after a short while...the bartender was attentive and greeted us in the usual manner however when we ordered our drinks there were several ingredients he didn't have...for a Saturday night I thought that was quite poor...not to be discouraged we ordered alternatives...my friend was quite happy with hers but I left mine...it was just a salty warm mess and for nearly £12 for both it was a bit disappointing...perhaps just early teething problems? Undecided whether to return...

Another visit to diamonds for really good food and a good atmosphere. Great value for money and drink prices reasonable as well.

1st visit as recommended so thought I'd give it a go. 2 starters were ordered, garlic mushrooms and soup of the day which was lentil, lovely! Next chicken balmorals which were a hit too, others opted for chicken burgers and a burger with gluten free roll, my daughter said the burger had been a bit overcooked so wasnt very juicy, maybe burgers need to be cooked to preference like steaks are. Chicken burgers were good and the sweet potatoe fries were delish. Would definitely recommend and would go for another visit.

We go here regularly. The food is always top notch. Friendly staff, lovely booths to sit in. Good pricing. Steak pie is the best you'll find for miles. Cheese cakes also amazing

When i travel through cowdenbeath me and my wife pop in for lunch, the last few times has been awsome i always order the prawn cocktail to start then the steak pie for main, and liz has the black pudding starter and the curry special....
