Disappointed & upset. Waited 2+ hours for delivery. Time kept changing. Called the restaurant who said they were still waiting for a driver (just eat driver) said they got a notification one was on the way but still hadn’t appeared, knew at this point they had already cooked the food as they were waiting. Food arrived cold & unedible. Driver didn’t even have it in a food transport/heat bag, was in an Iceland bag. Although not restaurants fault driver took ages it was a complete waste of money.

I won’t be back the service is awful the people are so unpleasant I can’t actually believe how bad. Go to Di Maggios Theatre Land wonderful experience.

I definitely recommend the 12" GF Suzannah pizza it was very tasty indeed and easy to pick up through Deliveroo..

Service really poor just before Christmas. Food came for 1 person after everyone else finished. Sweets took 45 mins ti come after ordering and advising staff they were still to come. Advised waiter of poor service who advised they were busy today. Finally even although service was poor service charge was not removed. Very disappointed.

Got poisoned by local lasagna. Got diarrhea and threw up three times already

Late lunch with beer, calamari, and minestrone. I ended up here because everywhere was full. The inside is also lively and full of customers. Is it because it's December 29th? There were crayons and drawing sets at the entrance for many families.

Placed an order at 6pm tonight and the food was not delivered at all called them and they couldn’t let me come collect the order that I had already paid for I had to wait on it being delivered it’s now 10pm will never be ordering from here again 👍

My food was 2.5 hours late I had to contact the restaurant my self and drive 20 minutes to go and collect and take home for 2.5 hours old cold food not happy 1 bit apparently there wasn’t a delivery driver in the centre of Glasgow in the last 2.5 hours I somewhat can’t believe it

Great festive dinner Excellent service for Festive Dinner. Very impressed. Food was very tasty, various dishes ordered for a large table and all arrived at same time for all 3 courses. Waiting staff were absolutely excellent. Good value for festive meal. Portions were generous and everyone in our group enjoyed all 3 courses. Thank you!

Good value food, very noisy good atmosphere. Staff are busy and efficient but the guy on the front computer needs to learn to crack a smile and acknowledge customers when standing at the counter. A wee 'will be with you in a minute' would be nice. Standing right next to him for 5 minutes while he looked at computers and spoke to staff.

My seabass was burnt to a crisp and dry, stiff to bite. Not the standard I'd expect eating there for 20yrs. Service was sloppy too.

Staff were very friendly and we were served by Seyhmus who made us feel very welcome, will definitely be back soon!

Noisy restaurant but offering a wide choice of dishes. My dish was also very good. The only (but big) downside.... the service! The waitress asked me what I wanted even though I had barely taken off my coat so she could read the menu. She stayed aside, pretending to be busy elsewhere. Not very pleasant.

Delivery man was at our building, didn’t ring the buzzer and left. I had to go out and down the street to get the food. He definitely had the right address including flat number.

I've dined in various incarnations of Di Maggio's since it opened just off Byres Road. It did not disappoint. Great service, quality food from a varied menu. If you're looking for a solid, reliable pizza / pasta place in Glasgow then look no further.

Ordered the cheese cubes, mozzarella bread, spaghetti bolognese, and lasagna. The only decent item was the lasagna famous. The spaghetti had zero flavor. It didn’t taste bad. It had no taste at all. Haven’t had a more underwhelming experience in a long time. Highly rated restaurant, maybe it’s a fluke. Now I’m out $40 and I’m just as hungry as when I was looking for food.

Focaccia is awesome with the dip to start with and their pizzas are just melt in the mouth definitely recommend, a great Glasgow restaurant

There was garlic everywhere. The amount of garlic in the pizza was overwhelming, you couldn't taste anything else. They even put garlic in the salad of the burger, that's insane.

Shopping in Glasgow and called in for dinner at this famous restaurant. Met Seamus who became our server. He was so friendly and attentive during our visit. He is a great ambassador for the company. Big shout to the kitchen brigade for the amazing food. Menu is varied and caters for all tastes. A must visit location when in the area. Will be back for sure.

As soon as we got in before we even got our coats off, x2 by 2 different waiters asked can I take a drinks order. Chilli nachos- oft should call it cold chilli lasagna, swimming in a cold cheese sauce which tasted like something out a Schwartz pack, non existent chilli, plate cold, this has never seen the inside of grill to make it hot and toasty. I Asked the waiter for another as was cold, another came exact same as last, he never returned to ask if this replacement was better. Question- What happened to using grated cheese on nachos??. Why use a like warm cheese sauce it makes the nacho chips go soggy. Anyway this was truly horrible starter and we hardly touched it, preying the mains were going to be better! My ying yang chicken was nice, but 3 of the chicken strips were just cooked and no more so left them, My sister had chicken Americana I think which came with a small sliver of blue plastic in the side accompaniment of pasta. So whilst finishing our wine, x3 times were asked by 3 different waiters if we wanted a dessert and did we want the bill! We were under the 1hrs 30 mins you are allowed to sit as they look for the table back. Went to use toilets after and no toilet paper in 2 stalls and the ladies toilet stank of blocked drains. The restaurant looks tired, and grubby, sticky tables, dirty carpet and to be honest the food is poor! It was packed, could hardly hear each other for conversation and felt we were harassed for start to finish! Not worth the money and will not recommend or return again!

Food Isnt great i make better myself . Not.big portions but enough .reasonable prices too although the drinks are way 2 expensive all spirits are abt £3.95 n mixers are abt the same So my advice is to drink tap water 2 meals will be abt £35 or more

Starters were a pòor choice so went without. Can only get spaghetti no tagliatelle. Don't know any other Italian restaurant that hasn't got tagliatelle. I had meatballs with spaghetti other half had carbonara. Was really poor. Definitely won't be back.

Second time we've visited, both times after participating in the Great Scottish Run so needing a quick carb fix! Service is very friendly and efficient. Food comes quickly and is delicious. Good kids menu and stuff to entertain them. Love the Suzannah pizza. Very reasonably priced too.

Pasta and pizza but limited menu beyond that. As a solo diner, on business, I always seem to get seated at the table right next to kitchen, even when the premises is almost empty. So the atmosphere is not relaxing or ambient in any way, and to then add a discretionary service charge when I was close enough to the kitchen to serve myself. Pasta dish was a bit tasteless and didn't get the offer of any parmesan. Would be nice if they could consider this treatment of people, especially when the place is empty.

Compulsory gratuity charge? who are you kidding!! Added to that, inflated prices after the pandemic, poorly cooked food (the calamari nearly choked me), pepper on everything to mask bland tomato sauces, AC blasting our table and making food go cold in seconds. This place used to be one of our faves, but it’s really gone downhill.

Gluten free is an absolute joke with this restaurant. They give you a massive book and you go through it to see if the dish you are ordering contains gluten. You don't do gf pasta or pizza. Kind of limits what you can get. Customer safety. Total cop out.

Great service, friendly staff. The food was good and served quickly. It does get very busy so it's probably best to book during peak times. Do some GF options. My daughter is coeliac and had a GF pizza which she said was nice and she didn't have any issues afterwards.

Lovely food and cocktails with a friendly greeting and attentive staff. We turned up just before closing, so can't comment on atmosphere as it was pretty empty. We would definitely eat here again.

This place has been recommended a few times while I have been working in Scotland, having now tried it the starter of wings was beautiful however the pizza was made with fresh tomatoes and therefore made the pizza base very wet and the topping fell off things the only thing that let it down

We had a suprise birthday meal for my friend. The staff were brilliant , our waiter was so good and patient with us and nothing was a bother. Food was amazing drinks were good too and will definitely be going back as we all (14) really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you 😊

You won't regret going, it's a delicious, clean and beautiful place.😊😊😊 There are Turkish waiters among the employees, thank you, they took good care of us. The location is also nice. The prices are affordable and the presentation is nice.

Nice experience Outdoor seating overlooking architectural buildings

Not too impressed with this DiMaggio's location, ordered calamari to start which on their allergy menu says it doesn't contain my allergen, waiter then tells me it does only to change his mind later, when it does arrive it's meant to come with lemon mayo but it had no sauce so I requested the sauce and the waiter gave me a pot of oil??? So they were not only dry and chewy with no sauce but if I tried to dip them in the oil they became dry and oily and chewy. Not impressed. My options for mains were limited because I can't have dairy which I totally understand but honestly the vegan pasta is the blandest pasta dish I've ever had. It didn't even have veg or anything in it just felt like they threw a tin of tomatoes on some pasta and decided that was good enough. Don't think I'll be back, the atmosphere was nice though as the place next door had live music and the servers were also nice.

I had the chicken in peppercorn sauce with roasted potatoes. The sauce was beautiful but unfortunately the chicken was a little rubbery in one part on the outside and a little bit pink in the middle and two potatoes were very hard which was a shame. The carrots were extremely tasty and sweet. If this hadn’t been the case it would be full marks. Staff were polite, efficient and very friendly. Will go back but just have a different main.

I was with my Granddaughter celebrating her 11th birthday , we had such a special time until we arrived for our meal. Service was poor, had to wait for 10 minutes after being seated for menus and a further 10-15 for drinks. The mock tails were a disgrace, served warm , no candy floss (despite it being a floss cocktail) not even a straw!!!! No one came to check back to ask if everything was ok. When asked what the drink was the female member of staff was actually quite rude and said there’s no candy floss or fruit Ava…. So your not providing what’s on the menu. The chicken meal was inedible. I have taken my Granddaughters for their birthday meals for the past 7 years . I will never come back the whole experience was awful and my Granddaughter was left totally disappointed. To add insult to our experience you have the audacity to add a service charge!!!

Avoid Di Maggie’s! Our son has a dairy allergy and before getting a table we checked with the staff and manager if they would be able to accommodate his allergy. We suggested a pizza with goats cheese. We were told - yes, that is no problem. We got our table, drinks order taken and the waiter arrived to take our food order. We ordered our son’s pizza and were advised that we would have to be charged considerably more due to the cost of the goat cheese. He could not tell us how much more the pizza would cost. We were surprised by this attitude. It felt our son was almost being penalised for having a food allergy despite the manager confirming our order was very easily accommodated. Needless to say we did not stay for lunch!

Here you will find a great atmosphere outside, especially in summer. However, the service seems quite short and hectic. The menu mainly contains pizza and pasta in different variations, so you should always find something. However, we didn't really like it, which is why we primarily remember the location.

Used an ITISON voucher for dinner and cocktails. Limited menu, Horrible inedible food. Lasagne was the worst I have ever eaten. Starter arrived within minutes of ordering. I expect the main would have arrived straight after if we did not request a delay between courses. Not a dining experience more like a fast food restaurant. No one even asked if we were happy with our food we weren’t! Never again

Great variety of food to suit all tastes, and always efficient service. Particularly enjoyed the Fusilli el Greco.

Very good Italian restaurant with variety of menu dishes. The pasta and pizza orders were excellent.

I really enjoyed my food as did the others with me - the thing that was disappointing is that they automatically put on a 10% service charge onto my bill which really annoyed me and soured my dinning experience. The funny thing is they would have got a tip through CHOICE not when it’s forced upon you. Will not be back and will also tell my friends family and colleagues about my experience

Was super hungry after our visit to Gallery of Modern Art nearby and found this gem. Their minestrone is super yummy and Michael is very helpful 👍

The Cajun pizza was the star of the meal for my friends and I. The service was really great too!

Food was nice, but waited a tad too long to be served. Seating area outside which would be good in nice weather. Very big restaurant.

Lovely place, nice and clean friendly helpful staff

There is a reception in the restaurant and they didn't let us in, probably they didn't like our clothes and backpacks on our backs. They sent us to the garden and we enjoyed it there too.

Very good place, everything very rich. In Glasgow you have dinner early, so keep that in mind as they close and at 9pm there is no longer a place to dine. A very nice restaurant

Service was friendly if slightly chaotic at times. Food was ok and as expected for the pretty reasonable prices charged. They screwed up one part of our order pretty badly due to miscommunication among staff, but hands up anyone who's never had a communication issue at work. Double check you've properly explained any dietary requirements you might have and that staff understand.

The Goats cheese starter was delicious, as was the Gluten Free Carbonara! Good atmosphere and prompt, friendly service. I didn't realise the tip was already charged at 10% on my bill - I wouldn't have left a cash tip if I'd known this.

We bumped into this cute Italian place while trying to grab dinner. The meals came early and the service was okay. We went for the chicken as starters and it was good. Also had the fettuccine which was good as well. My friends has the chefs choice for the day which was a chicken burger. They raved about it and it seemed to have satisfied them. Portion sizes was adequate. I do think my pina colada was ridiculously priced at almost 10pounds. No colada is worth that much especially for the size.

Our 1st visit to Di Maggie's and it was a wonderful meal, so enjoyed it we went back the next evening.. Brilliant food and staff.

Driver did well to find newbuild house.
