Celino's Partick in Glasgow City

Authentic Italian restaurant with all the right combinations of lovely food, great service and great atmosphere. Been there 2-3 times and will go back for more.

Too much expensive not like a normal price

It’s always busy here. Just get take away the stuffs like ready meals on the entrance of restaurant. Pizza is good, tiramisu is my favorite one, pasta and the sauce to cook pasta is tasty and handy.

Enjoyable meals done in traditionally Italian style, but olives were not ripe enough.

Just ordered a home delivery, it arrived cold , chips were basically McCain's french fries that we had to heat up and the pizzas were bang average. Disappointing.

Been here many times over the years and have never been disapointed. Fantastic food, great atmosphere and really good service. Best Italian in the West End.

Food is stunning! Never a disappointment

We had dinner there today, the food was incredible, the service very m Well, very friendly but in my opinion they are very slow in serving, we asked for the dessert menu and more than 10 minutes passed and they didn't bring it until we called again and another 5 minutes. They also have a small Italian supermarket with a delicatessen. But the food is very good!

Lovely friendly restaurant food delicious

First time in Glasgow, we needed somewhere nice for a hearty lunch to give us the energy for a good walk. These lovely people had the pleasure of our company. Lovely location with lots of natural light, and whilst they'd got plenty of people in the restaurant, it didn't feel overly packed (good acoustic dampening, perhaps). Staff were very helpful and worked hard to make sure we had an appropriate level of attention without pestering. The menu strikes a good balance of choice for carnivores and veggies (and those in-between) without causing option paralysis. Food was lovely and tasty, with a generous portion size that probably satisfies most appetites. The only suggestion I could make is to give a couple more drinks menus as we caused a slight delay choosing. A very minor point, and one that didn't detract from the experience (I just feel guilty when I am keeping waiting staff waiting whilst I choose.) Thank you. If I am in the area in the future I'll be seriously considering another visit.

Top class food, service and atmosphere.

Fantastic deli, cheese counter had cheeses I have never seen before. Great coffee and pastries especially pain au chocolat

Fabulous service, attentive, helpful and amazing food which is piping hot. Throughout the years have been in Hospitality for 38 years and know all the venues I have dined in. The only venue I would choose now is West End Celino's it's fabulous. Keep up the great reputation you have, Well done!!! We will see you very soon. ALWAYS A GREAT EXPERIENCE... CANT FAULT IN ANY WAY... THING I LIKE MOST IS the chefs can adjust and mix what your requirements are... basically you can get what ever style you want wow... I usually ask for a bit spice though my rice... STAFF ARE HELPFUL ALWAYS.. YOU ARE ALWAYS WARMLEY WELCOMED...

Massively surprised with Celinos, everything about it was superb, I will 100% return

Disappointed. My husband ordered via UberEATS and we waited over an hour for delivery ( driver was showing as stationary for 20mins). My husband, a medic at The QUEH had to leave for his nightshift. When I called to see what was happening I was initially told it was Ubers problem and nothing to do with them. I was then passed on to a different member of staff who after some time told me that due to a system fault, our order had in fact not even been sent out for delivery or even cooked! So the first staff member was happy to lie and just wash his hands of the problem and offer no assistance whatsoever. Poor and non existent customer service. Was told I would receive a call from a manager today and so far (unsurprisingly) have not received that call. We will not be ordering from or visiting again in person. Really disappointing from a supposed Glasgow institution. Far better Italian restaurants around.

Is this an actual joke?! You make a lasagna with decent ingredients and then you CHOOSE to use genetically modified oil over non-genetically modified oil!? In this world full of ultra-processed foods and take-away options, people come to you looking for a non-ultra-processed Friday night treat, but this is extremely disappointing.

Celino's catered our wedding party yesterday. The meal was delivered on time, hot and delicious. Everyone had a great time and commented on how great the food was. Communications with the team were great - HIGHLY recommended

What a place! We were given a last minute recommendation and fortunately there was a wee table for two free when we arrived. The food was amazing. Best Italian food I've had in a while. Gorgeous bottle of Rosé. And just to top it off...a fantastic delicatessen is attached to the restaurant. Definitely top of my Glasgow restaurant list! And it's going to take something very special to knock it off that perch!

First time at Celinos, the starters were lovely. Although when biting into my main there was a floss like consistency stuck between my teeth which came from the chicken Milanese I ordered. Upon inspection it appeared there was a hair/ plastic like substance in the chicken. The staff were kind enough to take it back for the chefs to check and they assured that it was not plastic and mentioned it was probably some cheese or a "particle". I have never been able to floss with cheese before. I was given a new chicken Milanese which was fine however my appetite was gone. Best case scenario we can take from the chefs comments is there was some cross contamination with the chicken and cheese. Overall the staff were very nice but we will not be back.

Macaroni cheese was tasteless and watery 👎👎👎

As you walk in the first thing is the amazing smell of the dishes already served, you can also get pre cooked meals to take home and all the other ingredients for a great night in from the first part, walk on and you know you are on a winner as from the kick off staff were spot on, no delay is getting our table, drinks then order, all orders as requested, and great taste and potion was a meal, no looking for the chippy on the way home. For such a good night, did not burst the bank, Will be back next time in Glasgow 10 out of 10 all round

We love Cellino’s. Had a meal here on Sunday with my mum and dad. Loved every minute. Good, busy atmosphere in the restaurant. Service was pretty fast. Food was delicious. Great restaurant layout. Just an all round nice place to go. Pate was fantastic. Half and half pizza pasta was lovely. Burger was very tasty. Desserts! Omg out of this world. I never normally find Italians to be outstandingly good but Cellinos is up there as my favourite. We love the take out options as well go eat at home a few days later. Thank you for a great time.

Lovely meal, great service had a lovely time

I've eaten in Celinos at Alexandra parade numerous times and now a couple of times at the Partick restaurant. I've not had a bad experience on any of my visits. Service has been fine and food good.

Great atmosphere, food & drink. Alex our waiter was very good and jovial. Will certainly return again soon. Been here with my mates as well as the Wife.

I rarely leave poor reviews but unfortunately this experience has to be shared Dinner for two ordered quite simple dishes one risotto one carbonara Both arrived the carbonara thick stodgy lump of pasta on a plate ,the risotto undercooked rice and long grain at that . When pointed out to the server the risotto was quickly taken away tobe replaced. The second risotto arrived again under cooked long grain which was so salty it was just unedable . Again pointed this out it was explained that it was because it was requested with no cream . I explained that most risotto would normally be aborio rice cooked within a stock and not cream and in fact the cream should make no difference to the cooking . This seemed lost I don't expect much from a local Italian restaurant with food you can simply cook at home but this was possibly the worst Italian food I've had in a long long time ....Style over substance here iam afraid. I'd not recommend unfortunately as this is basic cookery

Only in for a quick coffee and cake. Disappointed. La Vita serves a better Tiramisu by far and the customer service in response to a small complaint was doubly poor. However, our local branch of Celino's, where I've been a customer for many years, definitely treats it's customers like they want them to return.

Lovely place, great food, great atmosphere, staff very professional, Felipe is the best in the restaurant side, Laura is great in the deli side, best espresso coffee in Glasgow.

Went for Dinner, had the Spaghetti carbona original and my partner had penne arrabbiata. The pasta in both dishes wasn't seasoned, the carbonara sauce had split and was under seasoned. Positively the focaccia was very nice. Personally the quality was far below what I was expecting based on reputation and price.

Me and my gorgeous girlfriend came to celinos for our annual date night to celebrate our honeymoon , we got served by the marvellous jamal and the phenomenal claudio. the food was spectacular and left my taste buds tingling and itching for more. i recommend celinos to everyone , the deli is good anaw ;) x

I love this restaurant. The staff are amazing, the chefs are tremendous, hence delicious food. Drinks are reasonably priced. You can visit solo, friends, couple, groups, FAMILY! Very family friendly without it being a crèche. Recommend the chicken & broccoli risotto. SO FULL of flavour. Bruschetta was lovely & again, staff were always on hand without feeling hovered by. I really do love this place. Wine was lush, too & not remotely overpriced. FIVE STARS minimum. ☆☆☆☆☆

I won’t speak of the restaurant to much because I want to focus on their wonderful salumi bar. They have a wonderful selection of salumi and other delicious Italian dishes. Their deli is definitely one of a kind and as an Italian living in Glasgow it’s a place I visit often to get the taste of home. My only complaint is that the prices can be quite steep compared to what it’d be in Italy though I understand that’s not their fault, with import tax and shipping being expensive.

The whole customer service was absolutely shocking. We went for lunch on Saturday with two toddlers and a newborn. The table was only booked for us for 1 hour 30 minutes. We felt very rushed towards the end and the manager did not hesitate to...

We booked for a joint birthday dinner and being in an Italian family, finding an Italian restaurant can often be tricky. Celino's does not disappoint. The food was on point with the flavours and didn't take too long considering the size of our table with various orders. What's great is that you can even take a taste of Italy home with you from their deli section!! And the tiramisu 😁 ... 10/10

Tonight we passed from celino's deli for some Italian delicacies and we placed a £110 order and apparently not all the cheese and products were fresh. We found mold on some cheese and balsamic onions. I would be more than happy to pay £110 for GOOD quality of products but tonight I've been very disappointed. At least they could avoid to sell us the first few old slices of cheese from the block.

Dined here (Partick) last night, party of 2- we didn't have a reservation, and the member of staff hosting seemed to be inconvenienced by the fact. Thought the guy had just had a bad day, so didn't think much else of it. Colleague taking drinks orders was pleasant enough, second colleague taking food orders was quite abrupt- venue was pretty busy, so we struggled to hear him, and had to ask him to repeat himself a couple of times , to which he sighed at- It's not all bad though- the food was fresh and of high quality, but to treat customers like an inconvenience would stop us returning im afraid.

Friends have been recommending Celino's for years and have only recently visited. I can see why it's so popular!! Amazing staff, great atmosphere and incredible food. Great value for money, especially during the week with their set menu. Will definitely be returning!!

Had dinner here yesterday last night, it was amazing we got a space close by to park as we chosen a later reservation. We enjoyed our meal and had a great time. I think because we chose a pizza with more meat the oils made the pizza slightly wet in the middle but the taste was amazing, the pasta and the starters where amazing and the carrot cake is 10/10. The food was very good, our party had pizza, meatballs, oven baked aubergines and pasta with prawns - all were tasty. Our waiter (Alex) was lovely - full of personality and made us feel very welcome. It was my wife's 'big' birthday on our visit and this was a really nice restaurant to mark the occasion.

Really excellent breakfast/brunch at Celino's Dumbarton Rd. We were really well looked after by the friendly staff - Lauren and Lisa (our servers) were very attentive and helpful! Always a friendly atmosphere and love visiting here (the Scoobie Snack is delicious)!
