Di Carlo's Pizza & Pasta in City of London, Westminster

Wonderful service and delicious pasta. The new family who run this place are doing a great job. I’m addicted to the Di Carlos pasta and my daughter loves the Nutella pizza on sourdough. 100% recommend this local gem.

Amazing compared to american-style chain pizza (Domino's, Pizza Hut etc), but after a few slices it loses its appeal.

Placed an order via Uber eats & ordered a pizza with additional toppings. When it turned up I noticed the Parma ham I payed £1.50 was not on my pizza, trust me I checked! Called back up to inform them & was basically fobbed off with “no no it’s on there, it’s the first thing we put on when it comes out the oven” a blatant lie as like I said I checked, it was DEFIANTLY NOT on my pizza. I also noticed our pizzas were cut by a blind person, my 5 year old could do a better job at equal slicing. Not only was I spoken to like an idiot, he lied! To have such bad customer service has now put me off ever ordering from there again as one of my toppings that I payed extra for was NOT on my pizza & such bad customer service. Maybe next time apologies that you are at fault & offer a discount for a future order. Shame as the pizzas were really tasty but has still put me off ordering from there again due to bad customer service.

Amazing pizza and great service as well. Pizza is just like an authentic Italian one. Definitely recommend. It's our go to whenever we fancy an authentic Italian pizza!

Absolutely superb, authentic Italian wood fired pizzas which really does make such a difference. They are absolutely delicious and really good quality produce is used. It is not cheap at all, yet you get what you pay for, we order a pizza each and with extras can be as much as £15 a pizza. My son has the lasagna and its delicious yet more should be given for the portion as it's a mean size. Superb excellent for pizza night. Delivery time was good and the pizzas were hot and not soggy. Rating the service as on the delivery.

Probably the best pizza this side of Naples!! Family get together was made perfect with sharing Italian sausage with wild broccoli and extra buffalo mozzarella

Restaurant delivered my food despite me making error online by choosing collection,although was evident they weren't happy with my error due to the moans I heard in the background,just as well was in another language,but obviously not happy by my mistake,and made a point of the fact it was actually my error not choosing delivery which I never denied anyway . The pizzas I thought were a bit salty ,and unevenly distributed in terms of the cheese to the tomato sauce base,cheese was a bit sparing as was the salad. Salad arrived in a large container but with bitesize portion,was a bit disappointed as had expected a bit more for what I paid. Overall expected better,not the best pizza I've ever had ,but in fairness not the worst either.

The pizza was undercooked and soggy. Not worth the price. Also meatballs are strange? It's like shredded ham bits mushed together? Won't be returning.

First time I’ve tried Di Carlo’s I would recommend and will revisit

Ordered 2 Pizza and Garlic Bread for the first time as Di Carlos was recommended to us by friends. It arrived earlier than expected which was good. Garlic bread was as tough and rubber like we felt like it was yesterday's! Pizza was just okay. Had much better from other restaurants.

Delicious proper pizza. Really highly recommended. Cheaper than leading national brands and better quality! Will definitely order from here again and for a Saturday night order at peak time I was surprised we didn't have to wait longer.

•the pizzas I have ordered arrived about 50 minutes later than the estimated time for the delivery •the pizza was uncooked in the middle and very watery due to the ingredients that weren’t drained out •also one of the pizza was wrong, I have ordered a pizza that should’ve contained ham and got a pizza that had pepperoni and egg I’m very disappointed to write this review but this time, the order was a waste of money and time(as it took about 2H and 15 mins to get the pizza after placing the order)

worst ever just eat. don’t use these guys. they said 50 mins then took nearly 2 hours. also lied to us over the phone. DO NOT USE. I would leave less than 1 star if I could.

Unfortunately, I have to a agree with some of the other reviews on here. I ordered beef bolognese with two add-on portions of meatballs and two add-on portions of Mushrooms, whilst the food was perfectly palatable, the cost and portion size didn't add up. It didn't look like the dish had any extras added to it. I also ordered banoffee pie, and at £3.50 I was expecting a decent sized portion, unfortunately, this too was on small size and to be honest is was nothing special. defiantly not work £3.50. Ultimately, Di Carlo's needs to work on their portion control, presentation and selling price. The food however was quiet nice.

order on 15/3/2019 - accepted at 10pm and then never delivered just eat got hold of them at 11:30 and they still messing about. Used all the time and love the food but after dealing with this mess it does make you confidence waiver in this place. had to leave a comment on a previous order as my one that was never delivered won’t allow me too.

Maria Pizzas really good unfortunately can't say the same for my pasta, really really bland the pasta dry looked stale, it takes minutes to boil pasta just keep a pan of salted boiling on the stove, the chicken in my pasta was not fresh chicken it was very much pre-cooked and frozen bought from JJ's, bidvest or brakes, why not just boil or poach from chicken breasts and slice them for your dishes

Usually they are great but today not maximum of stars becouse it was a different pizza! Half was great but tje other half a bit empty...and they forgot to slice the pizza(nevsr happened that and i order at leats twice a month)

Ordered margherita and spaghetti meatballs. Order was initially delivered on time. Pizza base was thick and slightly undercooked. Meatballs came with penne instead of spaghetti. I called for a replacement which was sent, but they asked for the penne back as if I was lying! The new dish had only a few meatballs, pasta was under done and there was barely any sauce. We are both left hungry after sharing the pizza waiting for the pasta to come but that was too ál dente to eat 😔 I don't think I could order from here again unfortunately as I can't afford to pay £20 for dinner and not eat it!

Pizzas were tasty although a touch doughy tbh and the Quatro stagioni was missing it’s artichokes. But like I said they were definitely tasty. Usually no problems ordering from them.

The food was very average but the meatballs I ordered were tiny like the size of a 2p coin and there were only 5 of them. Pesto pasta was ok, garlic bread was probably the best out of the meal. Maybe if we ordered a pizza it would have been more enjoyable

I ordered a Calzone Classico and ended up with something entirely different. Didn’t phone because the time i would have got my dinner would have been too late. Ended up sharing with the hubby. We have ordered before without a problem but diont think i will again.

Pizza was awful cold so much cheese I couldn't taste anything else sauce didn't reach edges so just tasteless cheese processed mushrooms tasteless olives only a few slices pepperoni Feta Salad was a joke a few bits of Feta must have been a whole mozzarella a few processed mushrooms and a few sliced onions No mixed peppers Yuk! Chips were stone cold soggy and Very small portion way over priced as was the so called salad

Had three good pizzas delivered beforehand and felt happy to order another nice pizza. Had rang for less cheese before but added notes on order for “not too much cheese and browned as much as poss”. After a 45 min delay and two phone calls to chase my pizza turned up nicely browned but without any cheese. None at all!! My written English clearly stated not “too” much cheese and both phone calls I made I found a struggle due to communicating with somebody who’s still learning the language. Not happy. Pizzas aren’t complicated and found this order an ordeal rather than convenient.

First and last Time ordered from there. Pizza was cold and taste really Bad. After 2 bites I throw it to bin.

2 large pizzas and 2 different salads, order was correct, on time, hot and very good. Will use them again.

This little place is so popular and no surprise why. Delicious pizza dough and toppings. Due to its popularity during peak times the delivery was over 1 hour (understandable for the size of the pizza oven/restaurant). We opted to collect instead which saved some time. Yum yum yum. No need for mediocre pizza dough or toppings in Enfield order with Di Carlo's.

The olives on the pizza were not pitted so I nearly broke a tooth and the spaghetti bolognese had very little meat and tasted odd/stale.

Can’t understand the last few reviews. Must of had a bad day I ordered 6 pizzas on a Saturday night and everyone of them was cooked to perfection had the right toppings and were hot. They arrived dead on time which was only 45 minutes by a friendly driver Can’t wait to order again 👍👍

Although the food has been delivered early, i can say that the quality of the Carbonara was very poor. Instead of being made with pancetta( paid as well for extra pancetta), it was made with ham, no sauce at all.. never had such a dry tasteless carbonara. The meatballs with sauce and spaghetti was absolutly disgusting: sour meatballs, no sauce, tasteless!!! I will never order pasta from here again. Very dissapointed

It was dry pasta with tinned chop tomatoes and tinned meatballs, an absolute joke for the price!

Pepperoni tasted bad - fatty, flavourless - and there wasn't enough tomato sauce or cheese. Pity; it's usually a perfect pizza from Di Carlo's. We ordered garlic bread, but it didn't taste of garlic (at least not any garlic we've ever tasted before). Seemed like a halfhearted attempt to make a pizza? We don't usually order garlic bread, but there was a discount for orders over £30 and thought we'd give it a go. All in all, regretted not ordering something else this time. Delivery time and food temperatures were on point, though.

So the first time we ordered from hear the delivery took longer than expected and on arrival we noticed that the pizzas was not what we ordered. After speaking to the restaurant they had offered a free pizza on our next order. Today we placed an order which was said to take 50 mins. It has now been 2 hours and 32 mins!!!(STILL no sign of it) We most defiantly will never order from gear again.

I ordered a pasta pomodoro and margarita pizza. The pizza was okay although the dough did go hard very quick and was difficult to chew. The pasta was a little too hard and could have been cooked a little more and the sauce was not like any pomodoro iv had before. It tasted like they just mixed my pasta in tomato paste. There was no seasoning and i coukd smell and taste the starchyness

I’ve ordered from this restaurant many times before. However, unfortunately on this occasion I found a small piece of glass in my food. Fortunately no damage done but a concern none the less.

Found glass in the pizza. I saved the pizza and glass to show the manager. He came round to see it the next day, I was offered no refund.

Lovely pizza. Quick service and when a slight mistake happened with one of the pizza sizes, we had another one with us within 10 minutes and they let us keep the smaller one too. Massive thumbs up

Pizza was cold and slightly burnt. But the contents were tastey. The chips were greasy. My dessert was not in stock but was never contacted to discuss perhaps an alternative one and was given cash back by the delivery driver who tried to offer me less money than what I paid for the dessert because she didn't have change. I then showed her my order summary snd she went back to her car to arrange for the full amount.

superfast delivery time, buts where praise ends. billed as "traditional" pizzaria, my expectations were let down. coundnt even tell if it was really cooked in wood oven, as pizza had no browning/charring or taste that a wood oven usually gives. cant tell if the pizza dough was pre-made/mass produced but the garlicbread definitely was, with uniform perforation giving away thats its not homemade dough. if you bill your establishment as "traditional" using "fresh ingredients" you set up an expectation. the owner should look on youtube for tips on how to make fresh dough, its cheaper and creates a better/tastier/more authentic product. as someone who lived in italy for 6months. this ISNT italian pizza. dont usually write reviews, but this place really annoyed me! could be so much better....but isnt.

I ordered 2 pizzas. had to wait 1 hour for delivery driver to call me and ask for directions even though I literally live 2 minutes away, after 5 minutes directing her she eventually located my flat, surprise surprise my order came wrong. one pizza which wasn’t the toppings I asked for. this is not the first time this has happened. won’t be ordering from here again.

my pizza was incorrect as the Italian sausage ran out. they didn’t even have the courtesy to call me offering me an alternative. I want a refund as phoned up they told me a new pizza would come in 15 mins. it is now 40 mins! not happy I want a refund

Ok so it was half an hour late i ask of extra pepperoni but there was very little on it ,dont no what the cheese but it was not good.wont be going back and for those that think its the best in North London you need to get out more.i was in a little pub in Hastings this weekend and there pizza was great made in an oven in the garden? so why are shops serving up junk ...must be for a quick buck..

Ordered spinach as an extra topping on my pizza, expecting nice fresh green leaves as with most restaurants - instead I got blobs of mushy/ over cooked/ tasteless slush that actually ruined the entire pizza! The calzone was the same - filled with more of the wet mushy stuff, along with just blobs of ricotta - tasteless & just very wet/ sloppy! We abandoned the calzone completely & forced down a quarter of the pizza each just because we were so hungry! The rest will be sadly binned! Total waste of time & money! I’ve given them 2 stars as the base was ok, just everything added to that was a disaster!

Garlic bread is not very garlic’y but the carbonara is really nice!

The Lasagne we ordered turned out to be pasta and meatballs! You can add lots of different elements to your "Lasagne" when you place your order but if they don't have what you want, they shouldn't send something else without informing you first. Having said that, the chicken in cream sauce was delicious!

Order time was 19.38 with arrival due at 20.55. Food was good apart from garlic bread which didnt have enough garlic. Pizza And salad good
