Food was absolutely amazing, we had the 10 course taster menu, what an absolute delight.

Fantastic restaurant, we go a few times a year and it is always tremendous food! The cocktails are also great too.

Brilliant food, and fantastic costumer service!

We have just visited Dhoom during our stay in Dunfermline. We have never been here before and chose the taster menu but we are a veggie/vegan couple so all the dishes were vegan that we had. WOW words cannot express how delicious the food was and what a culinary masterpiece of authentic Indian food which the Chef has prepared. You are truly transported to another continent. The staff were so helpful, friendly and knowledgable, that we need them to relocate to Liverpool. Thank you for such an unforgettable evening.

Decoration full of Indian Vibes and food was fusion. We tried 7 course menu was delicious and different. I wished if they have dessert also part of 7 course menu. Must try- veg / non veg option. Very friendly staff. Arpan was great.

This is a tasting menu from an area in India, this night it was Chennai. I was looking forward to the experience as one of my daughters had previously raved about her night when Mumbai was the theme. This was however totally underwhelming. The first course was good which was a small onion bhaji and the main meal didn’t disappoint. The other courses (about 7/8), lacked flavour and texture. They were all soft with no texture at all. The red wine choices were also non existent. Not worth the £30 price tag and as they only change the menu every 6 months, it will be a long before we think of returning.

Our 2nd weekend in a row having lunch. Honestly the best place in fife for food. The owners are lovely and the people working their are incredibly kind and attentive. They always make time to interact with our little girl and she enjoys getting a chapati. The menu never lacks , its always served at such a high standard. The coffee and banana kulfi is vegan! And delicious! Thank you Dhoom!!

Visited today for our second time in two weekends! Love the food so much and the staff are just as great. We come in with our little one year old and she likes being entertained by all the staff! Our favourite restaurant by far and love coming every time. Thank you again everyone, can't wait for our next visit!!

Have been here several times and on each occasion, we have been blown away by the amazing food, the wonderful staff who always make us feel so welcome. Dhoom's menu is so unique, not the same old dishes that you get elsewhere but new combinations that make Dhoom way better than any Indian food I've had before. Looking forward to our next visit.

The food and service are top notch at Dhoom.

The starters were almost a meal in themselves, all beautifully displayed and brought to the table with an explanation of each one. So tasty it was hard to choose a favourite. The main course was superb and we were too full to try anything else. Wonderful atmosphere, lovely staff and a great place to dine

Absolutely insane the best Indian food I have ever eaten, but the food is only 50% the service was second to none, they take you on a journey and they explain where the chefs mind is with such a degree of passion, never mind rosettes the deserve a star! Think my servers name was arpen, he made us feel so at home and his recommendations where class

Lovely place nice staff unfortunately I didn’t like the majority of the food as it was mainly South Indian food. Having been in India I prefer the North Indian food but that’s my preference. Lamb curry was nice and the kofta . But lots of people would like this. Not expensive

Have to say I keep expecting to be disappointed but once again the welcome from all the staff is exceptional and the new chennai menu was superb. There cannot be anywhere else that treats you like family and feeds you so well. Fantastic experience as usual

A fantastic time here. The food was fantastic, with a rotating menu every six months I will be back. It wasn't just eating food it was an experience. Not a fan of spicy food, I will say the flavours made it well worth it. It was spicy (to be expected), but just enough to not spoil the taste of the food. In one night, I had tried so many new flavours, like never before. The service was also fantastic! They're friendly , they take genuine interest and they care about their food. We mentioned it was my friends birthday which caused the celebration. When I asked them to take a group picture for us, they took an additional photo and made an adorable photo frame with the picture inside. It genuinely made our night. The place was clean, well decorated and comfortable. The furniture and decor was interesting and it created a comfy atmosphere. Also we learned so much about what we were eating too. It was great overall. I highly recommend it and I will be returning !

First time at Dhoom ! Don't know why I've left it so long . Thought it would be over rated but it was a most enjoyable outstanding experience ! Will definitely be back soon ! X

And this eclectic list includes Rules Restaurant in London's Covent Garden, and the sadly, now defunct, Le Poulailler d'Or in Paris's First Arrondissement, as it was in the 1980s. The passion, dedication, and skill of chef-patron Mr Prasad, and his staff, weave a welcome as warm and as rich as the delicious dishes which they serve, infused with herbs and spices from across the Indian sub-continent. But there is no standing on ceremony at Dhoom: the food, speaks for itself. My first visit to Dhoom (it will not be my last) was in the company of beloved family members. We were treated to the sumptuous 10-course Chennai Taster Menu, and each course was served with an enthusiastic description of the ingredients, and summary history of the dish - an enriching, and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Dining at Dhoom is not just 'eating out': it is an education.

Had lunch with a mate today , popped his dhoom cherry ive been about 12 times now . We are both chefs cooking at 2 rosette level and were blown away. vibrant flavours great presentation exceptional service , stunning decor and great ambiance cannot recomend enough ........ go on pop ur dhoom cherry today ...... we will be back mext month for the 10 course .... well deserved AA rosette wouldnt be shocked if u get another next inspection as i couldnt fault a thing

Dhoom is a fine dining place serving Indian food. They serve a variety of Indian recipes with both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. They have a great ambience and excellent service. We visited this place for dinner while we were on a trip to Scotland. We were served by Arpan and George. Both of them are welcoming and helpful. Provided us with a good explanation about the menu and recipes.

Astronomically good experience tonight. Went for the taster menu and the chance to have each dish explained to you with all the love and care with which they were prepared was a delight. Friendly engaging staff, delicious food, and a great set up to encourage return visits to try the different regions as thenmenu switches around. I'm so glad such a restaurant exists in Dunfermline to show the variety of Indian cuisine. Thank you for a wonderful meal!!

Visited for the first time and loved the whole experience! It is a testing menu which I didn't know beforehand so you will need 90 mins at least to get through the 10 (yes, 10!) courses but each of them is small and different and unusual and all so exquisite. I don't say this lightly, it was a dining experience, not just a meal out. I will definitely be back!

Superb food and the service is first class with staff taking time to explain what each dish contained.

The Food here is absolutely amazing , loved the taster style , only dropped a star as there is no way of ordering a larger portion of your favourite items. The only issue I had with the service was the thickness of their accent meant we didn't understand what they were saying about the food. But they did try to explain everything. Honestly this is a top notch eatery and the seating options are fun and unique.

Of a 5 day scotland trip this was the best food AND service. Such creative food, so many little touches which show a restaurant going to such efforts. Delightful staff and the head chef/owner even brought out some of our dishes and personally explained the story. Fantastic restaurant (please open in London!!!)

Loved it. Cracking value for money, some.really interesting dishes.on the tasting menu I'd never have ordered but loved. Was so full couldn't eat everything, so pace yourself! Fun bustling atmosphere. The only negative for me was the metal chairs - they were very uncomfortable - if not for that, it'd have been 5 stars for atmosphere too

Quite easily the nicest Indian food I’ve ever eaten! And I’ve been to quite a lot all around the UK. The food was absolutely delicious after the first 2 courses you get a palate cleanser ,madras filtered coffee with banana and that was delicious too. I had the goat curry for my main course and that was the same,delicious. A really good atmosphere and very attentive staff made it a fantastic experience,all of the staff who served me explained each dish and it’s origin Arpan one of the waiters was very helpful and polite but George went out of his way to explain that none of the food was cooked with dairy and that is why all the food had its own unique flavour.I would drive back from Manchester to eat here again it was that good.

Very friendly people and nice place

I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves it. The food is just great, the decor is fun and nice, the staff are friendly and prompt. I am allergic to lentils which is a huge ingredient in Indian cooking and every time they have gone the extra mile to accommodate me, giving me good options and some that are for future menus. I am happy this place is doing well in Dunfermline as it deserves it and the town needs it. From conversations with friends, people travel from across Fife to come here. So definitely come.

I have been here several times for both lunch and dinner and I am always amazed. The service is spectacular. The dishes are delicious and I love the way the tasting menu is presented and explained. It's always fun going to Dhoom. I also really love how much they give back to the community and make that a priority. A really fantastic place to eat.

Absolutely fantastic experience exquisite food brilliant service

This is the most outstanding meal I have eaten in a very long time!!! Feel like I was transported to southern India in my tuk tuk. The 10 course tasting menu was expansive unique and delishious. The only criticism I have is that when discussing each course, the waiter was too softly spoken to hear his description. Will absolutely be back!!!!

Visited tonight to try the new Chennai Dinner Taster Menu. Simply fabulous. As usual each dish was beautifully presented and explained by the staff. Great friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. We are regular diners here and have sampled all taster menus in the past two years, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and now Chennai. A true delight

Relatively new too Indian food so was a little apprehensive before going. We had a table for 9 for a birthday. Food was absolutely outstanding from the first taster too the last. All 9 of us enjoyed every course. Flavours were fantastic and the food was cooked to perfection. Can not recommend highly enough. Was also a great way to try various Indian dishes being new to that type of food. Will 100% be back !

Indian street food experience Set 10 course meal - 9 street food size courses and a choice of main. You won't go away hungry! Food was good although the first course soup we had was so spicy it made our eyes water! Owner and chef explained he goes back to India a few times a year to try out new street food for his menu and this month it is good from Mumbai. Great atmosphere - very busy and full so book a table. Very good value at £45 a head including a bottle of wine and an aperitif.

Dhoom is a brilliant experience - we had the evening tasting menu and every course was a delight. Our table was a mix of vegetarian and meat eaters and the menu catered to everyone. All members of staff were cheerful and friendly, both food and service were 5/5. Will definitely be back but will make sure to skip lunch before my next visit!

Dhoom is our go to place for Indian food! I always recommend it to friends who come to Edinburgh because it's worth visiting Dunfermline just for Dhoom (and of course many more things, but mainly Dhoom). Their food is highly acclaimed and for a reason. Perfectly seasoned, comforting food. All staff members and the owner are extremely pleasant. They also do a tasting menu, which is a great culinary experience. We already tried two different ones, as they change them every few months. 10/10 recommend!

A nice restaurant with authentic Mumbai cuisine. Nice service, tasty and colorful dishes - I recommend it.

Don't get disappointed by ordering pav bhaji. You will be served burger bun. Funny part is the guy who served didn't even know how pav bhaji looks until I showed him a photo from Google. Quantity is too less for the price of £16.95 / person. Only now I realized he added £1 as community help without my permission. This is cheating. I should volunteerily donate for the cause. Beware of this charter!

Had the 7 course taster menu lunch today. Nice friendly welcome and seated straight away. Service was prompt and all courses explained. Food was lovely and very tasty. Will certainly be back.

Amazing food, friendly attentive staff. Fantastic atmosphere. Only criticism is, what the staff say about the dishes when they bring them to the table could also be written on a laminate piece of paper, perhaps even with a small map of where its from for reference. Sometimes it was hard to make out what they were saying over the busy atmosphere of a successful restaurant

This place is absolutely fantastic, from the food, to the atmosphere, to the staff. I cannot fault one thing about this restaurant. The Mumbai Ten course menu was one of the best things I've ever tried. Staff mentioned this changes to a different region in Indian and will have food famous from that area every 6 months. Myself and my partner will definitely be back next month when it changes to give that a go. 10/10 would recommend

Best Indian street food in the whole of Scotland, maybe the UK. Such a different twist on amazing food and the staff are incredible. Always happy and willing to help. Tasting menu is the one and only, you have to try it!! Lunch is a bit lighter with 7 courses over the 10 in the full menu. Wouldn’t miss out on a. Chance to go again and again.

Love the tasting menu with the ten tasters before your main course. It is interesting to hear the details of the fooda and where they originate. It is nice different regions of India are championed and frequently changed.

Visited on a Saturday evening with friends. Restaurant busy with a welcoming & upbeat atmosphere. Tried the 10 course tasting menu, the menu changes every so often, our experience was Mumbai but is due to change to another region in April. Food was excellent couldn't fault anything, it is Indian street food & the way each course is served is unique, the experience was 10/10. Staff are very well trained, the restaurant is spotless, highly recommend for date night or with friends. Will definitely return to try a new menu.

The best proper authentic Indian we have ever eaten. The chef/owner is so enthusiastic about what he is creating it’s inspiring. We usually visit around once a month because it’s that good. You haven’t eaten Indian until you have eaten here!

This is like our 20th time visiting. It really is our very favourite restaurant. This was our first time taking our 1 year old daughter and she loved it! The staff were incredible with her. Made such a fuss. We also took my mother in law, as it was her birthday, and they were so kind and generous to her too. Her first time and she loved it! The food cannot be beaten - it’s incredible. Everything about this restaurant is brilliant. You’re massively missing out if you don’t try it!

I'd heard a lot about Dhoom before going so I was quite excited to go and see for myself. I opted for the 7 course lunch taster menu which offers a sampling of Indian street food from all different parts of the country. Most of the items brought to the table I'd never eaten or heard of before but every single one was so delicious and immediately hoovered up leaving me wanting more. This being a tasting menu the portions are very small, as to be expected. I now want to go back to try the 10 course option and will definitely be going back perhaps to check out the ala-carte menu. The staff were very friendly and offered a little bit of the history and backstory of some of the dishes as well. I'd wholeheartedly recommend a visit here, absolutely fantastic and a massive credit to the Dunfermline restaurant scene.

It was our second visit and we opted for the lunch set menu + dessert + cocktails. Both my husband and I enjoyed various flavours and textures of this multi-course meal set. Food is very well seasoned but not too spicy. Staff is very friendly and placed has got a nice ambience. Definitely recommend for those who'll like to try different flavours!

What an experience. Service and food second to none

The food experience was very disappointed. Starters were nice. But my main was terrible. They use cubed chicken which is shame, you expect better quality from a place as highly rated as this and the price you pay just doesn’t do the food quality justice. Nice place and nice service

Place was recommended and it certainly lived up to reputation. Warmly greeted, full explanation provided on menu choices, we went for the 10 starter meal . Food was excellent and very well presented. Staff explained each dish and were very attentive. We will be back, definitely worth a visit if in area

Just had a beautiful meal with friends here. The theme for the meal was Mumbai, so after various starters to give a taste of Mumbai we then had our main meal. All seven of us are stuffed! We will be going again. So good to get genuine authentic food from our local restaurants . Dhoom is a class act. Thanks guys.

Honestly this place has improved massively over the years. I one stage didn’t know if I was having my tea or getting a tranquil history of West Indian culture. In the first 30 minutes of our meal we were bombarded with starters, 9 in total. Each one better than the last. Goat curry at the end to round up the 3 points. 10/10 for 2024 🇮🇳🪷 .

Visited here today for a colleague’s birthday lunch. An absolutely superb experience with delicious food and fabulous service. The restaurant has a really cool vibe with tuk tuks and swing chairs! I’m already planning my next visit - thank you so much.

We visited this place on a Saturday evening, we were lucky enough to get a table without reservations.. this place is always busy.. i felt like i am on a culinary experience when i was here, staff introduced all the dishes how it is made and served, feels like i was a part of Masterchef Journey… i dont have the pics.. this proves i was so mesmerised with the services provided… it was indeed a wonderful experience… will come back soon

Mumbai Dinner Menu After having tasted the Mumbai lunch Menu several times I decided to attend on Monday night to have dinner. Loved every morsel of the starters, especially the corn cone. I was initially apprehensive of this but was blown away. Could have had 7 of them and been quite satisfied. It was nice to attend on a quite evening as Head Chef Prasad was very attentive and told of his culinary Journey to Chennai and his creative process in constructing the new Menu. Always blown away by the food and service. Thanks everyone at Dhoom

I have been to this spectacular restaurant a number of times. Dhoom has never disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious… every last bite! The interior inside this little gem is unreal. Atmosphere is always great. Cocktails are too good! So much effort goes into every detail in the whole Dhoom experience. I can’t forget the attentive staff… So friendly and kind and always make my experience one of a kind. I’ve attended with friends, family and my partner and I can say it’s my favourite place to eat. For every occasion. Don’t walk.. run and get a real taste of delicious indian food!
