We had the most delicious meal. The starters are so tasty and just the right size and the main courses are amazing! The manager was really kind and attentive and checked back regularly to make sure everything was ok. The place has a really nice vibe to it and locals appear to enjoy meeting up for drinks there and I can understand why! All in all excellent

Soooo. I eat a lot of Indian food. We ordered the mixed platter. Chicken was juicy, lamb was phenomenal. Everything was cooked to perfection! Even the rice was banging. The owner was a great host and even gave us a complimentary shot of the best moonshine I've ever tested. He is very knowledgeable and the bar provides an extensive selection of amazing spirits. Plus a playlist of 80s music in the background. What more could you ask for? Get down here!

Its three years since my last review so I thought t was appropriate to write another. We have been to Dhaba many time over the last 3 years and introduced a great many friends to their exquisite cuisine. Last night, yet again, they didn't let us down. All the food is prepared fresh, the flavours and spicing are off the scale. Add to that great beers and lovely people and you are on a winner. The only shame...it was so quiet in there on a saturday night

Second visit here and the food is unreal. Shared the Big Boy Platter, such good value big portions of food and each item on the platter is 10/10. Staff very friendly as well, really good atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Take away .. delivered.. took my taste buds to a tantalising tasty delivered curry. Right on my doorstep. Succulent Goan Prawn Curry, leaving a tingling sensation on your tongue drowning the fluffy rice.. It's totally slurpy deeeeelicious...

I recently reviewed this restaurant in July, and gave it 4 stars because of fairly slow service. Having returned and had absolutely exceptional service I had to do another review upping it to 5 stars. The food was so delicious and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend.

Really tasty food. Had high hopes because of the good reviews and the food certainly didn't let it down. The star for me was the Chicken Jeera- really spicy and tasty. The lamb chops and paneer also really good. Only drops a star because although the service was friendly it was a little slow, especially as there was only 1 other table. I would definitely go back though and recommend.

Hi. I visited here quite late. Had a beer and got chatting to the barman/ manager. So, the venue is very cool and the food was quite frankly amazing. It was spicy and very flavoursome. The manager opened the kitchen for me. If you want to try real sikh food with great company go there Matt (dad of student who lives nearby

went had just had what maybe the best causal eating place in the uk..rustic decor an owner who talks you through his vision with passion... we had the fortune of going during the india Pakistan match and the atmosphere was sensational..the food came over 3 orders ...first the pani puri and chaat both fresh and like falvour bombs...next i had the chops and they just melted in the mouth i enjoyed them so much was tempted to order again but was advised the bad boyz where the restaurant signature dish and was i impressed. with the the cost of living going up the owner explained he had not increased prices for the last 3 years ..which i applaud as i would pay double for that food in london....great job keep it up....

Dhaba59 is an Indian sports bar. The food smelled amazing; unfortunately the smell was the best part. Dhaba platter (mixed grill), 14.95 £ was poor, the quality of the meat was low. The chops were chewy, I did not eat them after trying a bite. The chicken wings were rubbery. The kofta balls, though flavorful, made me sick the following day (I will leave out the details of that experience). Naan bread was average. They were out of poppadom. The Gobi59, cauliflower bites in homemade masala batter were odd for a lack of better vocabulary to describe them, there appeared to be 2 different kinds (?) and the cauliflower did not seem fresh...maybe it was previously frozen (?), 4.95£. We chose to sit outside. To say the black table tops were disgusting would be an understatement. I used water and napkins from my backpack AND hand wipes to attempt to clean our table, the table did not appear to have been washed in a very long time. The old food tin that served to hold napkins and utensils was also filthy as was the sharing plates brought out with our meal (finger prints all over the plates). There were two plants in the garden, a small tree and a dead large plant. This garden area has such potential with just a little effort could be a fantastic space. Service was poor. From entry to ordering to leaving. I tried to be friendly in case the guy was having a bad day but he remained cold/distant, even rude at times. He was more interested in being on his phone. We asked for water numerous times, the water was brought out with the bill! Not that this can be controlled by the restaurant but there was a child who screamed the whole time we were there. The child was inside the restaurant and the screams radiated out into the garden. The back portion of the restaurant was opened to the outside and that portion seemed cleaner and had a nice atmosphere (see photo).

I liked the presentation of the food, the girl was quick to attend, the drinks took a while it was a bit crowded maybe that's why

This place is all about the food. If you're on a date night go somewhere else. If what you value is great Indian food at an affordable price this is the place. Can get a little noisy due to the big screens but you can sit in the garden if you prefer something more peaceful. Delicious street food served by nice people.

After an average Indian meal the night before, we thought we’d try Indian street food - basically Indian tapas. Each of the dishes we tried were imaginative and absolutely delicious. Lovely staff and a great atmosphere. It helps if you want to soak up the Indian experience by having Asian radio playing while the Indian cricket is on the TV which for us, really added to the experience. Loved it. We’ll be back.

Had to avoid tomatoes as my husband doesn’t eat them; helpful waiter made recommendations and we had delicious nachos and a tasty platter. Would heartily recommend.
