Great beer, great food, I had the tikka lamb chops, tikka chicken and chips all fantastic. Atmosphere was great, really rocking. A wonderful experience, staff were super friendly. A great time had by all

Fantastic place with lots of screens perfect for matchday football. Service is great with a wide range of drinks on on offer inside and outside in the garden which has more screens and plenty of seating. The food is fresh and amazing, the mixed grill is stunning and highly recommended. I have eaten here multiple times and consistently tasty high level food. Great atmosphere and can't wait to be back for food,drinks,socialising and fun.

Great place to meet friends, great footie pub has a whole lot of screens to watch sport. Great friendly staff. Great food in fact so good I ordered two extra butter chicken dishes for the girls at home exceptional was their review.

Visited on a couple of occasions now just for a pint Great selection also have red stripe on tap not seen for years i was greeted lovely by the staff and the manager, the menu looks amazing looking forward to trying the dishes soon 💯 also a big thank you to the manager for letting me borrow her phone charger will definitely be back soon Also really great atmosphere in the pub and the locals are really friendly Kev 👌👍

We bought a take away from here and it was AMAZING! The chicken curry is perfect! The mixed grill was huge (It would be nice if the mixed grill could have the option of a curry sauce as a side). I wish I'd found this place before! We're now planning a trip to visit.

Came in tonight to try out the food and see what the place is like since the dungeon. I was blown away. Food was fantastic I had the chicken tikka sizzler and the misses had butter chicken curry. Both great and a very fair price. But the staff are the wow factor. We even had a great chat with Karran the manager about the journey the place has taken before and after covid. Definitely worth a vist even if like us your not that into sports.

Best sports bar in Southampton!!

Queit simply amazing. I had the butter chicken curry and chips and I've never had a curry better, was expecting average food from a bar/pub type establishment, but I my expectations was smashed. The bar staff were extremely friendly and nice. Would definitely come back if working away in Southampton again.

I don’t really follow football but the food here is absolutely brilliant so don’t let the fact that it’s a sports bar put you off if you are not into sports

Eventful evening at the bar and grill, the service was very friendly and the food excellent. The mixed grills were delicious and very impressed with the naan. Would definatly come again.

I had the privilege to DJ a birthday party here tonight. It's an absolute delight to see such a thriving, bustling venue here in Southampton. The bar staff, security and management are second to none and made the night so very special for the birthday girl. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I used to love this pub. Although it didn’t have a great ambience (dirty sticky tables, uncomfortable seating) , it USED TO HAVE that most important value for money good food and drinks. I have been a weekly regular here, sometimes even visiting twice weekly with my friends and/or family! But recently (in April 2022) they CONSIDERABLY INCREASED THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING BY 20+%!!!! Every item in food menu went up by almost 20% and every drink went up as well!!! This is not digestible! We are all facing inflation & so I would have understood if they increased the price by 5-7% or so to keep up with inflation … But the way they have increased prices is outrageous and close to EXPLOITATION! If they don’t reverse this, they will lost many of their regular customers who will recognise this RIDICULOUS PRICE INCREASE and choose to stop visiting!!

Went into the 5 rivers last night. Could not believe how big this Sports Bar & Grill were.Loads of TV's so great for watching Football ⚽️ etc Huge downstairs area. Very clean & tidy Lots of Saints memorabilia around ❤ The food was absolutely delicious & all the staff were so friendly. 🍽🍸🍺🍷 A great place for eating & having a drink 10 out of 10 Will definitely be back soon ❤🏆⚽️

Lovely pub serving amazing tasting Indian food, generous portions and excellent value, would highly recommend. Rather impressed with the spacious garden with plenty of screens to watch the football.

Saints pub on game days. Large downstairs and outside area too. Food se Asian style. Very highly rated on trip advisor for good reasons! No car park. Public car park 200 yards. 1 mile to st Mary's stadium. 20 mins.

Exelent bar looks really small from the front but very covid safe and a massive garden at the back with plenty off tvs all round the pub and garden to watch your sports excerlent pub

Best mix grill to grace this earth

The grub was first class chicken tikka basket had 2 of them whilst watching the rugby it was that good. My fat friend Richard Hogg couldn't stop dribbling when the food was coming out . Brilliant beer garden will be back to watch some more sporting events. The only problem its full of scummers.

Visited for birthday celebrations last weekend!! The team were friendly in sorting out this booking for 12 of my friends. We had a great time, enjoyed the mixed grills and kingfisher on tap was great too! The lamb chops were so tender and succulent!! Perfect place to watch the football, we visited on the last day of the premier league season and it was well worth the journey from Oxford!

Not only was the food great, the service was second to non! Friendly staff, exceptional at what they do! The variety of sports coverage was wide and we could see tv from every corner of the room! I would 100% recommend this sports bar it's the best I've been to... (Internationally)!!! A really good pint and experience!!

My favourite place outside of london for a mixed grill and a few beers. Pool table and sports games football, cricket etc. The staff are brilliant as well.

Had our first lockdown take away from here and boy did it hit the spot The Butter chicken was amazing the pilau rice melt in your mouth snd the the large mixed grill and salad did not disappoint fabulous helpful staff the flavours were amazing snd generous portions will be back ... give it a try it won’t disappoint

If you are looking for a low key place with great service from a happy, friendly and super-quick bunch of girls then look no further. We got the opportunity to be able to watch a bunch of football games and multiple games simultaneously. We had a fabulous time here. Went three times in a week!!!

The 5 rivers gave a clean and warming feel. The staff were friendly and polite and always attentive for further drinks and checking on our food along with promt clearing and sanitising of tables. Food was presented amazingly and tasted delicious. Highly recommended. *****

How great was the evening I've just had in 5 Rivers with some family and a friend?! The food was delicious and really tasty - the 6 of us had the mixed grills which were highly recommended and they didnt disappoint! The fish curry was cooked to perfection and the naans that came with it were soft, light and tasted great too! Thank you and well done to the chefs here in this sports bar. Don't forget to try the masala chips too - they are incredible! The atmosphere was brilliant too - 2 live football matches and live golf being shown on the numerous large screens in the bar! The staff were really on their game too in these difficult and different times with Covid19 - the table service was great for both drinks and food! We all felt safe and secure whilst inside for the evening! Highly recommend a visit here for both food and drinks! Thank you for a great evening!

Kips and his team smash it every time,they are following all the Covid distancing measures while also providing great table service. The food is amazing, I highly recommend the Tandoori Mix Grill. Its an absolute MUST. Can't wait to visit you guys again soon.

He estado en los 5 ríos varias veces con mi familia porque nos encanta el ambiente animado y la excelente comida. El personal es realmente servicial y le da buenos consejos si no está seguro de qué o cuánto pedir (tienen cajas prácticas para llevar si su pedido es demasiado)Si aún no lo ha visitado, lo recomiendo encarecidamente, tienen un buen covid: 19 procedimientos también, por lo que nos sentimos seguros y felices mientras comíamos allí.Compruébalo, no te decepcionará.

Fui a 5 ríos el miércoles por la noche con mi esposo, ambos comimos algo que fue excelente, me encanta la comida de canasta de pollo tikka, a mi esposo le encantó la parrillada mixta. Tenían fútbol para que pudiéramos comer, beber y ver el fútbol, no podríamos estar más contentos con eso, todo el personal es muy amable, nos atendió tan pronto como nos sentamos todos con una sonrisa.volveremos la semana que viene seguro.

I’ve been to the bar a few times, food is standard. Most staff are great and very attentive. But Bianca was very rude to me when I ordered some food! As a restaurant/bar every customer should feel welcome especially when respect is shown from the customer. She complained she had to come back to our table 2 times, I think someone needs to wake her up and tell her she works in a restaurant where table service is the only type of service available due to Covid. She then had a go at me, and told her manager to come down shouting! Terrible hospitality from a so called 5* bar/grill. She then had to the nerve to ignore and walk away from me whilst I was speaking, I then tried to speak to her manager who was too busy on the phone? Customer service at its finest

With the current complications it's hard to get the balance right at any venuebut for me the girls at 5 rivers have nailed it I haven't found anywhere that has kept to the cov19 standard while still keeping the vibe of a good bar / restaurant Hats off to the 5 rivers for a great first experience would recommend this venue 100%

Mi hija y yo salimos una vez al mes y nos turnamos para elegir un lugar para comer, no es frecuente que los dos acuerdemos volver juntos a algún lugar, pero 5 ríos es uno de esos momentos.La comida fue increíble y nos sirvieron Karen y Bianca, que fueron encantadoras y acogedoras, lo que realmente fue muy útil teniendo en cuenta que debido a que la mayoría de los lugares solo quieren que entres y salgas rápido, lo que no hace que la experiencia sea agradable.A pesar de que estaban constantemente sirviendo y limpiando mesas, siempre estaban sonriendo y riendo contigo, lo que por una vez en este loco momento de sentirnos aislados en situaciones sociales nos hizo sentir como en casa. Aunque tuvimos que quedarnos en nuestra mesa, la interacción con el personal lo compensó.Realmente disfrutamos de nuestro tiempo en los 5 ríos y será uno de los lugares a los que seguramente regresaremos.

They’re number 1 for Indian food in Hampshire for a reason. I was really well looked after by the staff and the food was incredible. The mixed grill is a must, you will not be disappointed and the wraps were delicious too. Presented great, tasted great and had a really great time. There is not one line of sight you can’t see a TV screen too for sport. They’ve definitely got it right here! Highly recommended.

Well what can I say, looking at trip advisor says that this is a five star visit, ok trusted trip advisor but never again, what a disappointment, I was overdressed, location and without bring disrespectful, felt unsafe as we stepped out of the car onto a used mattress not too far from the doorway, food was not 5 star either, dry rice, unseasoned salad and cold tasteless food, sticky tables and floors,staff very helpful and positive but slow on service, didn’t seem to come back to our table when we complained in relation to our experience.

SURPRISE, after eating Indian cuisine as a hobby, these dishes had ingredients so fresh, perfectly cooked, and worth coming back for!

It was my first visit back following lockdown and i received great service from my initial enquiry to book a table,and then on the day with great service from the friendly staff. Will definitely be returning.
