Dhaaba 66 in Leicester

Came here for a brunch/lunch. It was quite but our food came out in a good time. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was tasty and really well priced. Would be 5 stars but it was really quiet when we went in

Their breakfast is amazing and tasty, not too pricey as well. I would recommend the Desi Breakfast.

I didn't realise that Dhaaba 66 had been open for 2 years, we thought we would try out the Tawa selection with Lamb Handhi, Chicken biryani, seekh kebabs, masala fish naans and fries. There is enough food for 2 adults and a child. All of the food tasted amazing, the flavours of the lamb, hand made kebabs, biryani and the masala fish was some of the tastiest food I have eaten out. Not greasy or oily, and served hot. Prices are very reasonable, we found the food tastier than Tipu sultan, ok the venue might not be as lavish but Dhaaba 66 is substance over style. You will thank your taste buds, try it out. They also do a indian breakfast from 8am 7 days a week, we wil try it out next time.

Third visit here, previously I have had curries and grill, but today I bought my family for desi breakfast. MashAllah so impressed with the quality of there food. Fresh puri and parantha with delicious chana etc etc. Will definitely be coming back.

Lots of competition in the area but heard lots about this place especially for their breakfast. Will come back to try this, on this occasion came for dinner Plenty of seating and wasn’t too busy Lots to choose from on the menu You can tell just from the smell of the food this place serves authentic dishes The price is good and it’s good value for money Everybody love their dishes. Fresh and full of flavour I had the mixed grill which came out sizzling on the plate. Decent portion size too Great cuts of meat and amazing favour bit of kick but nothing over the top ate the whole meal Would some here again and deffo recommend Staff are friendly and the place is clean Keep up the great work guys

We went here last week Friday for breakfast. Nice, quiet, clean place ordered the loaded mix desi tawa breakfast, Gol Gappai, Keema Paratha, and a jug of mango lassi. The food was fresh and hot, and the paratha was a decent size. Keema Paratha was tasty and my children enjoyed them. Pooris were big and fresh and went down a treat. Gol Gappai were delicious I could have eaten so many of those 🙈 My only qualm was the mango lassi, it was thick and gloopy, like it took its time to pour out the jug. I didn' t like the fact we got plastic cups either, those days are LONG gone. Also they don't accept card payments here which is an inconvenience.

Worst customer service possible .. rang them to let them know that there halwa wasn’t the way it normally and is very watery . the lady with no manners at all told me to leave it on the side and it will thicken up with time and hung up on me..really bad customer service will NOT be going again …and that was our breakfast ruined !

This was the worst experience I have ever had eating out. The waitress was absolutely rude constantly sniffing sneezing. Cutlery was dirty. The food was served dry although we ordered a tawa. We had to keep getting up to ask for more sauce, that took forever to arrive.i can imagine if the restraunt was busy, but it wasn't at all. When making payment the waitress was absolutely rude. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to any of my friends and relatives.

Well priced and quality home cooked restuarant. There is always a trickle of families coming to eat in the restaurant. The atmosphere is just decent standard family restaurant.

It was very nice. We really enjoyed the food and the staff were very nice especially kulsoom she was very friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The food was very tasty and it tasted like home made. everything we tried was very nice. we had the karahi chicken, paneer masala, nihari and lamb curry and the mixed grill which was 10/10. Kheer was also very nice they even had prayer facilities which was very helpful. Will definitely go again.

We go here regularly for desi breakfast and karhai. Today we went there as usual for the karhai. While we waited we ordered Gol Gappay and Karachi Bun Kebab. It tasted 10/10. They gave us complimentary Jaggery Rice at the end. Definitely recommended. Will go again

It was a fabulous experience, loved gol gappy and bun kebab😍😍would love to come here again.

Had a great today earlier today with 3 families. We visited with kids and definitely felt like the ambience was good. We ordered the food and felt welcomed by the owners. After ordering, the staff was bringing the food one after the other but forgetting to get basic things plates, cutlery, glasses etc. We asked the staff to bring those multiple times and it felt like she didn’t really hear what we were saying. We had to then involve the owner and he got the staff involved in ensuring that we had everything we needed for our brunch whilst we were there. Apart from this, the food was superb, not oily, pretty good taste, and good portions. Overall apart from the staff experience, would visit again. The owner also mentioned to try their Karahi which is their signature dish and is cooked in a unique way. We are definitely visiting soon to try that out.

Prices are high but quality is nothing. Me my daughter got stomach ache after eating dhahi baly in there. I think it was expired.they should work on their food quality.

They put as marketing that as an English breakfast u get 2 toast 2 hash browns and 2 sausages and the food came out cold the bread was sweet and the cashier has a negative face and the overall experience gave me a bad stomach Never coming back

Sunday morning, plenty of parking, halwa pori,pratha omelette chana, chicken wrap, and smosa chat. All the food was really tasty. I'm definitely going back with friends and family.

The food consistently meets expectations, but there have been two instances of overcharging. Firstly, during an in-person visit to the restaurant, I ordered a curry and some Tandoori Naans, only to find that the total was higher than what was listed on the menu. When I inquired, I was informed that prices had increased, and they were in the process of updating their menus. Several months later, when I placed an order over the phone, I confirmed the prices listed on their website before finalizing my order. However, upon picking up my order, I was once again asked to pay more than the online price. The explanation given was consistent - the website hadn't been updated to reflect the new prices. This practice feels like a clear breach of customer trust. If the establishment is unable to promptly update their menus or website, they should still honor the advertised prices as a matter of respect for their customers. It's disappointing to feel misled in this manner.

It’s ok. If I compare it with Chaiwala, then its quality and taste does not match. We had tried karach chai and cheesy chips. But it’s cheaper if that matters.

Masha Allah. Great sahor food at 2:45 am Surprisingly I got Halwa puri and chana. Really great Also we loved desi nashta. Very good. My Son realy like the kids meal. Chicken nuggets and chips. Was really different but greater then other fast food shops. Service was really fast and friendly. and was great car park spaces too in front I recommend all families to go and eat in till 3 am. I visited Dhaaba 66 on dated 25th Jan 24 at around 21:00, I do like the environment inside and I do to say very good customer service. The food I tried on first time is brilliant. Above all it has a specific PLACE FOR NAMAAZ (where only one person can perform) which I really really like it. I do recommend it to all my family members, colleagues and friends. Thumbs up to admin.

When in to have a dasi breakfast and ask please do not but onions in my egg,asked them 3 times still in the end they but onions in the egg which I have an allergy. The staff didn’t even come an say sorry Would I go again no Would I recommend someone no Not at all

Went to this place last week. We ordered papdi chat, samosa chat, one Aloo paratha, a karak chai, 1 soft drink and 1 chocolate spread Shana paratha. The food was very nice, the service was also very good. However the cleanliness wasn't up to scratch, bits of food on the floor. The state of the toilet and sink was way below par. I think if you could focus a bit more on cleanliness you can be right up there with the best. Like I stated the food and service was very good.

Good quality food at very reasonable price and good hygiene rating. If one is looking for lahori taste of Kharai then this is the place. Dahi baray also quite good, Pakistani style, not the usual sweet dahi baray that one finds in other restaurants. My go yo place for dahi baray in Leicester

Been there yesterday with friends, everything was fresh cooked. Hygiene standard was up to mark👏👏. Food was excellent but I love the Nihari 10/10.. definitely will come back again.. customer Service and staff very friendly and respectful 👍👍👍👍👍

Mix grill quite reasonably priced, Chicken karahi with garlic naan made great combination, this place was recommended by a friend & now im in love with thier food, fresh & tantalising ideal place for small parties & functions

I visited this place on a Saturday evening with my friends. Food was hit and miss. Gol gappay and samosa chaat were so flavoursome and tasty however channa chaat lacked flavour and seasoning and masla chips were served cold. Mango lassi was ok. Another thing I would like to highlight is the slow service despite the fact that more than half of the restaurant was empty. There was no order in bringing food to the table, and served one after another and a long waiting time between them. And I think that was the reason chips were cold because they probably were ready but forgot to bring them. This place has authentic Pakistani taste in food and has potential to grow quickly if service can be improved. Would recommend going here.

Food felt like authentic Pakistani food. I ordered the Achar lamb and it was delish. The karak chai and Kashmiri chai, spot on. The only change I would like that would enable 5 stars for atmosphere would be to have a section of seating for those women who wear the veil. Other than that, thank you!

Customer service is zero, price is higher food is not worth for the price and even though they don't have card payments. I went to try first time extremely disappointed and I never go back again.

I went there yesterday & it was freezing 🥶 cold no heating that my teeth were chattering. Although we called them b4hand to order a Bombay sandwich & bhel puri it still took a further 20 minutes for it to come out. The sandwich was stone cold & made with cheese slices & the bhel was a mix of packet chevro & whole load of tomatoes & drenched in imli sauce. I have been through their reviews & they all seem to be worded the same like “ best in UK” “best in Leicester” etc etc seems like they have been comprised by friends or family. Finally they have such a huge varied menu which they can’t cope with. Maybe if they concentrated on a few good dishes & made it their USP they may succeed. It’s all a big mish mash. I won’t ever be going there again. Btw this is my 1st review ever on Google as I was so upset & absolutely freezing 🥶 that it gave me a headache due to how cold it was!

First order with them. Tried Chicken Biryani. They asked us if wanted spicy or mild. I went for spicy. They added extra Green chill for spiciness. The taste was almost there, I would definitely try again. The flavour and authentic taste was also appearing with look and taste. The quantity was enough for both of us (we paid £6.99) Restaurant was clean, plenty of seating area. Tablets and chair clean. Staff cleaning and looking after restaurant. Good effort.

Ordered the ‘dhaba special’ loaded chips. Was told on the phone £6.99 but at shop had to pay £8.99. A good quality filling meal in its on right, and I did enjoy it. But £9 for loaded chips is quite the ask, compared to others on east park road, hence the 4 star rating. However, I can say that these are the best loaded chips I have had in England. I would recommend to try the place out because I had the curries etc a few months ago which were very nice, fresh and reasonably priced.

If you want to eat something desi/hilal/ mouth watering/ homemade food then you should visit Dhabba66 and try their Nihari, karahi, qorma, daal, burgers dahi bhallay,gol gappy etc. Best restaurant in the whole Uk

Best place for desi foods. I tried Nihari, lamb karahi, bbq wings, chicken karahi, desi nashta. Everything was superb. 10/10 taste and presentation. Affordable. Best shakes.

Really enjoyed the ambiance, desi food / kids food at very reasonable prices and taste was delicious, will give 10 out of 10 to karahi & Nihari, in comparison probably best in leicester, karak Chaii was awesome. Owner himself was present and was serving along with his team and all were really helpful. Highly recommended if you want good food. I am regular customer now. Very good experience. Food was delicious. Everything was made to perfection and tasted like a proper authentic Pakistani cusine. Enjoyed the parata, chana and chai. The chilli paneer was also good and the masala chips. Definitely will be going again.

We had chicken samosa and there is no chicken stuff inside. Instead we got corn and aloo more. Karakki Tea is also is not upto the mark

Saw this place open and empty in the morning and decided to pop in for some chaii and masala egg. I tried the masala egg in desi paratha. I really liked it. They even put in the extra chilli I requested. Overall the food and chaii tasted good. The service is a bit slow but I hope that improves over time as their customer base grows.

Took my parents who visited us from Karachi to visit here. They really loved it - the food and ambiance tastes exactly like back home. Really loved their Nihari and Brain masala! Havent had this good breakfast and desi food in the UK!
