Desi touch is the Indian restaurant I trust,ways hot, always tasty and today in particular both the lamb and chicken were perfect 👌

It was good and we enjoyed the meal just seems like the chicken tikka masala’s was lacking chicken which we was a bit underwhelmed about due to the prices of them

every time we've ordered from here, we've never been disappointed. the food is quality, flavoursome and piping hot when received. delivery drivers are always friendly too. recommend over and over. thankyou

Delivery time was quick but the food was cold, you would think with the fast delivery time the food would have been piping hot.

Had meal for 1 samosas tiny,and chicken balti very bland,i wont be using again

I have been here a fair few times and the food and service is usually good but I was left utterly disappointed by the food and the shocking service over the phone. Truly gutted to leave this review but they ruined the evening

pay a lot for a small potion of pilu rice . Didn't get any free nana breads for ordering over £30 . like Earlestown Tandee

Always delicious! Love Desi and has been one of our favourites for several years.

Food took nearly 2 hours to arrive, was told delivery vehicle had broke down! A phone call to update would of been fine. But nothing! Customer service goes a long way! Then items of my food was cold that had been sat in the broken down vehicle! Sent replacements to which weren't right! Shocking!

The food would have been better with more then 5 pieces chicken in considering the price and size of the meal

Used desi touch for years, best Indian takeaway I’ve had. Never had a problem with the food always been amazing. Went today both curries were watery and extremely bland, hardly any meat in the curry. Everything else was okay. Change of ownership?

Food quality and value is mega!!! Unfortunately though, I left a comment asking to leave my food on porch without a knock, even called up the restaurant to ensure that this is being carried out. And the delivery driver still knocked saying info hasn't been passed onto him, can't fault him but I think its important to ensure such requests are carried out.

Hot Tasty well cooked Delicious never had a problem with a meal from Desi

Just ordered a summer sizzler , was absolutely lovely and just enough for 1 person , would recommend, staff very friendly and was ready in no time

I feel bad leaving a poor review but ultimately this came down to poor quality. The delivery came early which was great, and the guy who delivered was really nice, but it doesn’t make up for poor quality food. We had three meat dishes, two rice and two garlic naan. The the meat dishes came hot which is a definite plus, but the taste and quality or the food wasn’t great. None of the meat dishes had much flavour and the one medium spicy dish was anything but. I think what tipped this from a three star to a two star was the naan breads though. They were thin, slimy and stretchy. I suspect they were undercooked and put into a bag where they sweated and went slimy. Here’s hoping Desi read this and improve, we really need a good reliable Indian takeaway in the area 😕

Food is spot on but, as of recent (past 4 months) service has dipped. Ordered food and 1hr 25mins later still hadn't turned up. Rang to get an update and the usual spiel of "it's on its way" was used. Given its 30 seconds from the house I gave them 10 mins and it still hadn't turned up. I arrive at the takeaway to find they hadn't even started cooking it... hopefully this is just a blip because the past 4 years has been spot on.

This order arrived ok, the chicken balti had hardly any sauce with in and no rice, on making a call, they said they would send a driver with more, I expected a fresh order instead it was just rice which we were expected to eat with a cold balti. Very dissatisfied indeed £28 wasted

Lovely food, really fresh, my curry sauce was a little on the warm side rather than hot, and was a bit too sweet, I think I should have chosen bhuna rather than masala, but overall the quality of everything was really good. Will definitely order again.

Normally spot on, one of the meals didn't arrive as it went in someone else's apparently from what they said. So we had to go back and it messed the night. Can't fault the flavour and quality but the portions were really miserable compared to normal. Really disappointed. 6 little pieces of chicken in my vindaloo. The rest of the company also said really tight portions, not like that for the last 6 or so visits. Cost of living I guess. I will be trying elsewhere next time.

Incredible starter, curry, rice, chips and Naan

First time order from this restaurant but won’t be the last. Food was hot and tasted amazing. Think a good gage of how fresh the food is is the quality of the chips and the chips were hot and crispy, meaning they were fresh as possible!! Would highly recommend!!

Food arrived late and was missing poppadoms and onion bhajis missing from the mixed starter. They had been paid for, and the chutneys did arrive but what is the point without the poppadoms. Everything was also cold on arrival and had to be reheated. On the plus side, what we did have was very tasty once heated up and I could recommend on that point. But paying £4 delivery to receive late, cold food is not acceptable especially when there are missing items. Delivery driver was extremely pleasant, but on the whole would probably not order from here again unless collecting and making sure order is correct and being able to take straight home. Which kind of defeats the purpose of Just Eat as we only use it when it has to be delivered.

Suffering with a cold so thought I'd try and fight it with food, this was everything I needed. So good.

Ordered a variety of things and everything was awful. The lamb in the mixed kebab had a grainy texture and strange taste live liver. This place is really hit or miss, sometimes can be great, not tonight though.

Chicken tikka masala was quite spicy and tasted like a jug of salt had been poured into it. Wouldn't order again.

Ordered at 19:30 - food didn’t arrive until 20:45 When delivered, had a madras delivered instead of butter chicken Rang restaurant and explained I had plated the madras onto the rice when realised it was the wrong one Delivery driver returned with butter chicken only - had to use the rice I had already covered in madras sauce and unable to eat

Overall, very poor & overpriced, the curry sauce was a generic one, with a few spices thrown in to try & make it taste like a Rogan Josh, lamb was small, gristly pieces. One poppadom for 75p? I'd finished the poppadom long before I'd finished the overpriced small tubs of dips, the only positives were the mushroom pilau rice & garlic & coriander naan bread. I definitely won't be ordering from here again, lesson learnt.

Literally about 4 pieces of chicken in the jalfrezi. Onion bhaji sooo greasy they were inedible. Ordered cheesy naan and failed to see or taste any cheese. Very very disappointed

Great food from here cooked fresh collected on time. We had the theoretical meal for two and it was excellent quality and taste will defo use again.

Never eaten from here before. Have great experience in eating Indian food. Tried a few different places of late than our normal Palace visit. The food was good and would order again no problem. Onion bhajis are hard to get right. They can be too dry, these were excellent. As was all the food.

Bit annoyed. Usually from here its decent. But forgot the salad. Chicken tandoori starter was abismal could barely pick any meat off it it was mainly all fat and went cold as soon as i put it on a plate. The rice was cold and the chicken tikka main was lukewarm at best. Im not at all usually one to leave a bad review or complain. Especially not with this place the service is usually above average. But having to pay £17 for a bowl of cold rice, fatty chewy chicken with no salad that went cold quick is beyond a joke. Other places ive been give double the portion and food arrives a lot hotter for less of the cost for the same order. Really dissapointed :/

Delivery was not a problem! Food was just excellent.

Chicken vindaloo was lovely and was still red hot when it arrived.

The food came luke warm. We ordered over £35 of food which we was suppose to get a free starter which wasnt in the order.the naan breads come undercooked. The burger had a puddle of grease it was dripping my nephew coildnt even eat it hes only 4. I'm absolutely disgusted by this order will not ever go back.

Very bland , I got a Rogan josh sauce with a chicken tikka shashlik the chicken was cooked very well but the curry sauce (what makes your curry night) was really bland and had no spice it flavour whatsoever.

The food arrived 30 mins outside of the delivery slot but I always expect a delay when I’m ordering from a place in Newton. The food was excellent. Would have been full stars but the naan bread let it down. It was really pale and doughy. Not sure if they’re made in house but either way it was undercooked.
