Lush meal the new chef Aaron cooked a delicious meal and our waitress Ainsley was lonely too

Very pleasant lunch - hot, fresh, arrived in good time. Helpful and friendly staff - would return. One improvement for me would be a separate handheld paper gluten free menu - to save having to refer to an app.

Generous portions for lunch deal. Enjoyed

Boil in the bag type food. Fine if you like that sort of thing. Service okay, but nothing special.

Go to this pub every Monday and it's a lovely atmosphere and I would like to especially mention Rachel who is always so welcoming, professional and I watch her she is such a hard worker an asset to any team

Today I joined 3 old work friends for lunch as we do each month. Two of us opted for haddock & chips only to be told that deep fish fryer was broken (yet again !!!) so no fish,scampi, fishcakes etc were available. Switched our choice to ham,egg & chips and would you believe they had no ham so this was knocked on the head. Though we didn't fancy it we decided to go for sausage & mash. When the meal eventually turned up there were deep fried battered onion rings on top of the sausage. How could they deep fry onion rings but not haddock etc ? The broken fryer has been offered as an excuse many times over past 12 ,months or so. Buy a new one for God's sake. I don't recall an occasion when our foursome has ordered differing meals and no hitches have arisen - something wrong every time.

Really great service from Rachel today. She was lovely and friendly and really looked after us. It was busy, but she made us feel very welcome. Thankyou!

Most impressed with Rachel “the memory lady” not only remembered what i ate and drank on previous visit but also my table number ”…..put an elephant to shame !!….the lunch was pretty good too.

We just popped into the Deri, decided to stay for food. The bar lady/ waitress Rachel was so lovely, although she was working in her own, she made us feel very welcome, like we were having a meal at her home.

Lovely atmosphere good table choice menu was varied ordered Fish and chips . Young waiter/bar staff was polite friendly and efficient. From ordering drinks and then food didn’t wait too long to wait. Young man whose name was Howell was first class and deserved to be named as a n asset to the Deri Inn staff. I can’t say enough about this young man.

All our food absolutely shocking,ham egg and chips x4,the ham was not ham but thick fatty chunks of gammon,well I say gammon but it was all thick fat ,Went to dip a dry overcooked chip in the over cooked egg when asked for a soft yolk.then complained how bad meal was,they took it all away and brought back the meal with the same dried overcooked awful chips and same eggs and hard peas and bits of gammon ham with fat cut off,but it was so salty it was awful,could not eat any of it,complained again and said it was awful and food like that should not be served and the waitress never apologised and took meals away and said nothing...Will never eat there again,service gone really bad there...Wish I had my phone to take photos of the shocking meals

Disappointed ,used to go here regularly ,decided to go last week.place was busy ,found a table ,two nice fires ,settees etc.Went to order here's the issue ,one of us didn't want pie and mash wanted chips instead ,not allowed to swap anything ,other pubs let you ,couldn't understand why we couldnt.

Very welcoming place with lovely roaring fires. Myself and my partner had ham egg and chips off the set lunchtime menu. Jamie Lee, Rachel and chef Sean were all amazing and we will deffo be returning. Well done 👏

I often dine at The Deri Inn, however last nights experience deserved a Trip Advisor review. Rachel and her team did an amazing job. Ainsley serves us with a smile and promptly brought our cutlery and condiments and the food was stunning, perfectly presented and cooked by head chef Sean. We had a mixed grill and the steak literally melted in the mouth and the avocado and bacon salad was one of the nicest I have tasted. Credit when credit is due. 10/10 from start to finish. Well done team Deri Inn.

What one amazing place for food and drink. Lovely people and friendly staff. I met Ann, who works really hard and will always engage in conversation with the customers.

A night out with the family’ well we booked a table for dinner’ arrived at the Deri inn ordered drinks at the bar and sat down all to this point’ then one of the bar staff pop over and explained that There is a 40min wait for food’ are well it is what it is’ then the food arrives 45min later’ 1st meal was stone cold’ yes we set it straight back 2nd meal arrived lukewarm and over cooked’ 3rd meal arrived lukewarm again’ 4th meal arrived with the first meal by this we think let’s just make the most of it ‘ until the 1st meal we set back had one taste and burnt lips and mouth’ so all I all if you want to wast your money this is the place to go .

The welcome was great, the food and drinks were great. Parking was easy. The toilet facilities were spotlessly clean.

Never sure when it's open or if kitchens are working

Came here for a Sunday roast after a long walk, half the party went up to order, while the others waited, came back to say that the prices on the menus does not reflect what you actually pay. Even the staff say the menu is not straight forward. The other half went up to order to be told they have sold out of Sunday lunches, and was also told the ones previously ordered would not be available. It all seemed a shambles, the cooks didn’t know what they seemed to have and have not. Ordered something completely different even though the reason for coming was for a roast. Seems we were lucky to not get one, as the 3 tables around us had ordered the roasts, all complained about the food and 2/3 tables food was sent back. We will not be coming back, highly disappointed as the pub is perfectly situated after a walk around the wenault.

We are weekly regulars who have tasted our way through the menu. Service presentation and customer care is top quality and we must compliment in particular Jamie - Lee , Sean and top ratings for Chef Jack

Well…….it was the first time in ages my husband and myself had been out together. Our daughter had recommended The Deri Inn and had bought us Dine Out gift cards for Christmas. So we thought we’d give it a go. I’m so glad we did. The staff there are fab! The lovely lady who took my order (after me having a meltdown with the app and a brainfog moment where I forgot what we wanted), was a saint. I’d have even forgotten the drinks if she hadn’t reminded me 😂. We’ll definitely be back (so you can draw straws when you see us coming 😂). Oh, I almost forgot to say about the food 😂. We had garlic mushrooms, cheesy ciabatta bread (which I forgot the name of so said a garlic bread thing with cheese), mixed grill and posh fish and chips. Gorgeous. I would definitely recommend The Deri Inn not only for the food, but for the people who work there.

We popped to The Derri (our local) tonight for some food. It was curry night, so we both ordered a curry. The food was reasonably priced and served quickly. It was hot and very tasty. We would definately recommend The Derri and we'll be coming again. The bonus was that because we regularly eat here, we received a 'New Year Beat the Winter Blues' discount off our food. How good is that?

The woman on the bar with the glasses was very rude and seemed to try and make it awkward for us to do something so simple

We came here for a family Christmas meal. When ordering we weren’t told there was an hour wait. 4 out of 5 meals arrived after 1 hour and 20 mins. The plain burger came covered in sauce and salad, which we sent back. The other burger didn’t arrive, neither did our side orders. The plain burger came back 10 minutes later covered in burger sauce and the other burger we had ordered was luke warm. My daughter’s pizza was hardly a pizza, more like a base and sprinkle of cheese and was burnt. The on duty manger didn’t seem to know how to manage! It’s a big pub and at Christmas should have enough staff to cope. Won’t return. We weren’t the only disappointed people.

Went for the live music and had never been before, but there was such a nice atmosphere in the pub! The music was great and the selection of beers and spirits was really nice!

Very disappointing service tonight. Family of 4 popped in for a mid week dinner. Waited 50 minutes for a mediocre burger which came with undercooked chips. Kids were grumpy and fed up by this point. Children's meal of curry and rice arrived as a bowl...

No sorry from the staff for anything, the extra long wait nor the conditions at the restaurant. Also wrote down the order wrong initially, but that was thankfully amended quickly. Absolutely do not recommend.

We visited this delightful pub yesterday, we all chose from the Christmas menu, 2 courses for a very reasonable £18.99. The deli inn is so tastefully decorated, beautiful, homely and cosy with the low lighten and open fireplaces. We were greeted warmly by staff who were all friendly, thanks Ainsley and Annmarie. We were a table of 8 and our table was beautiful decorated with Christmas crackers and good quality red napkins. The food was plentiful and delicious, so tasty, we will be returning, Highly recommend.

Called in and Hywel who was working behind the bar was so lovely and professional he recommended the mixed grill which was lovely and also a Malbec wine to accompany it. He made sure that the meal was okay for us and chatted to us to make us feel so welcome .

Love this pub, it has the most friendly and attentive staff. The food and drinks are great and the staff even better! Rachel is absolutely amazing, she is always there whenever we need anything and always takes the time to ask how we are! We always feel well looked after and super welcome, Rachel also always makes the effort to say hi to our dog which we love. The Deri is super dog friendly and family friendly, never disappoints.

Went for Sunday lunch family of 4. Only received 2 of the 4 mains ordered ( after waiting an hour ) and then told it would be a further 25 min wait for the other 2 mains as there had been some confusion in the kitchen. It was 1pm and really quiet in there, we now understand why.

Sad to see this place has gone downhill so much. Used to be a real favourite, but food on this occasion was just not good at all. Drinks and service good, but real focus on the food is needed.

Yet again Rachel has done our family proud and managed to fit us in at short notice (a table for 15) for a family celebration. Part or all of our family often frequent the Deri as it’s our local. We always have a great night and everyone is always so accommodating. A big THANK YOU To Rachel and team, see you again soon.
