Kaspa's Desserts in Cardiff

This used to be the craze a few years ago when it opened. But each year it seems to be getting quieter and quieter. It must be down to the other deserts shops opening up on city road the past few years. But to be fair, their milkshakes are always good!

A lovely place. went here last week and ordered an oreo cookie bash and it was amazing the atmosphere is spectacular with plenty of seating with a takeaway service. totally recommend. only thing that isnt good is that some times it can be a struggle to find parking.

the lady at the cash desk was not nice, she didn't ask if I wanted ice cream or whipe cream and she didn't give us ice cream for waffles when ordering for over 40 pounds I've been here many times before but I won't come again Should change the service.

Very Good, but the decor was a bit damaged and some of the kids were running wild

I love these places the atmosphere is great the service is great and the food is great but more effort needs to be made where there are people with special dietary requirements there needs to be more sugar-free options, dairy free options , wheat and gluten free options

Just wanted cake & ice cream but my order was messed up. Didn’t bother complain as staff spoke poor English. Ice cream was nice, cake wasn’t. Waited ages even though there were loads of staff & No customers, the place was empty. The tables were clean but the place was in poor repair. Won’t be going there again.

Ordered through Uber eats (said delivery would be between 15-25 mins). Ordered at 8pm ended up receiving at 9:20pm. Desserts were melted, ice cream was liquid by the time it reached us. Will not be ordering again.

Never open everytime we gone there very disappointing 😞

Can't go wrong with going to Kaspa's for a milkshake. Aso tried a tropical twist smoothie. Only downside is the straw and how it gets soggy fast and impossible to use.

I had a lovely experience here, the dessert was lovely, ther staff was very friendly and the overall service was great. A particular staff member called Layth was really nice. As soon as we stepped in he was already on it to serve us and make sure we got seated. I’m from London and hardly get good service when I have been before. In general everything was better at this establishment. I would highly recommend

Absolutely howling. Asked for a table and the guy walked into a table which had a water dispenser on. Amazing entertainment, haven’t laughed that hard since 2014. Great lad just watch where your walking 👍

Over an hour waiting to collect 2 milkshakes on a Tuesday evening. what a waste of time and money

Good place to eat in your favourite desert. I love Strawberry Indulge Waffle and fresh vanilla. Bueno Waffle is also good with Bueno Gelato.

I liked kaspa. But they need to sorted the smell on the rear area ( like toilet drainage)

there was literally a hair in my ice-cream n it def wasn't mine bc it wasn't the same colour and also the crepes were so bad they were more like bland pancakes no offence

my friend found a hair in her food and when they complained they told her she planted it. just cause we were a bunch of teenagers. she would never do such a thing. we were all shaking as they threatened to call the police. they refused to rewind on the cameras back to when she found it and they treated us horribly. terrible management! so appalled

Lovely Place. A good place to chill and relax. If you have the cravings for desserts and Ice cream. This is the place to be. I usually hang out with my friends here. Oh.. the Taste is exceptional. Love everything about this place. The ambience is great. The staff are friendly. Would recommend anyone to check out this place. There's one in City Centre and City road. You also get a discount if you're a student.

Excellent chocolate ice-cream and service.

If you have never visited Kaspars you must. I have eaten both in restaurant and had takeaway they never fail to impress. All the staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. They have a great selection and you can custom make any desert of milkshakes. I mainly tend to order waffles and milkshakes which are always delicious! My favourite is the white strawberry indulgence and Ferraro Roche and snickers milkshake (please see pictures)

It is overall Ok icecream store… could do better…the milkshakes menu has different flavours but they all taste like vanilla icecream with less flavours..the sundae menu are ok but could improve with more different variety of options.. waffles are really good and delicious please try them..

Legit one of the best dessert shops in Cardiff, definitely my favourite.

In a single word, it was just a mind blowing…. Moreover, highlighted thing was ambience and customer service… just excellent… Especially, who managed front office….

Popped into Kaspa’s on City Road for the first time in a good few years. Whilst the prices were significantly more expensive, the food is still amazing, staff friendly and service was fast. Would return in future. Slight shame about the location and major lack of parking though!

I and my friends were planning to have some dessert after dinner, that’s when we happened to pass by Kaspas. I was amused by the service offered by the staff, the desserts we ordered were reasonably priced and of great quality. Would surely visit the place soon.

Found it quiet appealing especially with waitress taking order politely inspite of huge crowd. The ice cream and sundaes were really good . This was refreshing as we left Coco gelato to grab ice cream here due rude behaviour of Coco gelato lady waitress. Will prefer KASPAS anyday now

Went into this place because the kids love a kaspas desert from where l live, they sat down to look browse the menu l needed to use the male toilets, walking to the toilets there were over turned tables and ripped seats looked really shoddy, l opened the door to the toilet and didn’t even walk inside, the floor and toilet was covered in urine and the wash basin was stinking, l can only imagine the hygiene level behind the desert bar, took the kids and left it was disgusting

Spent over 100 pound with this restaurant and the customer service and food quality was bad they got 2 items wrong We never got the 1 item and the seats and table we was sat at was no cleaned they was sticky and the floors looked dirty I will not be going there again

Amazing place food is amazing and reasonable top notch deserts they have a wide variety from ice cream to crops to there fantastic waffles.

Very nice as a treat, but not cheap. I and my son had the bananaberry crepe (£6,95 each), with banana, strawberries, chocolate sauce and ice cream. My wife had the Sicilian crepe (£4.85), a plain crepe with lemon juice and sugar, also with a portion of ice cream. We also had a mug of tea each, £1.95 each. It was very nice and the staff were lovely. I would recommend even though they are probably one of the most profitable foods for an eatery to sell and not so healthy for the eater. Go on, spoil yourself :-)

Ordered a butterscotch waffle today and it was really amazing!! Pleasing environment with good customer service !! Bit disappointed since the brownie waffle was out of stock .. But the food I was served was amazing !! Would definitely come again!!

Very expensive for the quantity of dessert

Staff were terrible and nobody seemed to know what they were doing. Forgot about our order and was really tacky in there. On the other hand the 2 stars are for the two desserts we had that were decent. Wouldn’t recommend going there unfortunately

Nice place for a very filling dessert or if you’re craving some sugar. There’re a lot of choices and prices aren’t too crazy. Resembles an American dinner but only for desserts. The staff are very friendly so I’d probably go back again sometime.

Great Waffles and drinks all round. Can not wait till the next visit.

Orederd a home delivery ..got here in amazing short time super fast delivery ! Orderd carrot cake 3 ice creams as sides ..good portion of ice cream and exceptional taste had to put one in freezer so full however the size of carrot cake for price is a little on mean size and not blown away by taste to make up for it wouldn't ordee cake again just not justified I like my food but even a bit bigger would be good value for money. Not much icing or whatever it was on it apart from meany slice was nice ..

Ice cream is lovely, don’t get me wrong - but with the amount of servers they have you can’t order at the table, you have to go up to the cashier and wait in the queue. They’re obsessed with where you sit and bombard you as soon as you walk through the door despite the place being empty. The waitresses’ attitudes leave a lot to be desired, as if you’re a pain just for walking in. If I were you I would just go to coco gelato down the road. Such an awful experience over having some ice cream!

grimy and grim. staff don't want to be there (understandably) so the service is always terrible and snail slow.

This is the second visit in about 3 years but wont return. The seating area is a bit tired and needs repair or replacing. You enter and wait by the sign and eventually someone see you and takes you to a seat, the chair I sit on wobbles. We are giving a menu but the girl fails to tell us that we need to order at the desk. Orders placed and as last time they arrive separately . You dont go to a restaurant and have your meals delivered with a gap of 5 minutes for each person. The sundae was a pre made glass of frozen Ice cream and strawberry pieces with fresh cream and ice cream on top of the frozen stuff. My cheese cake was bland and ive had better from a supermarket. I have to say Heavenly Desserts in Windsor place is much better

attended about a month ago and a female staff member with brown hair gave me and my friends a very dirty look when there was no need she stood there for about 5 minutes doing it, my friend was too scared to leave. After we received our milkshakes they were so watery we couldn’t take a another sip. Awful service and not nice milkshake will not be attending there again

Took more than 5 minutes waiting to order, no one was attending. Another 10 minutes waiting for a soft ice-cream. There were a few staff/crew but didn’t know what to do. Absolutely horrible service.

Of all the hype I've heard over time that dessert only restaurants were the new craze, I was expecting alot coming here and was Dissappointed somewhat before we got to the door. It was not well lit in comparison to the surrounding independent vendors. We were not greeted upon entry and were only asked if we were eating in when we were wandering back and forth to see if there were free tables in the rear. Once seated we were told to pick from the menu and order at the desk. The interior was as dim as the exterior and the seating seemed untreated and worn. The embroidered signage on the seats were filthy. The toilets were closed with the exception of the disabled which was in disrepair, the door was hard to secure shut and lock, the toilet roll holder was empty and a large toilet roll was placed on the wall rail. The hand basin only supplied cold water and the dryer was hanging out of the wall. The waffles, ice cream and coffee that we had were absolutely amazing but everything else seemed to let it down. Even the staff did not seem keen or happy. It's a shame really.

First time here and would not go back. Very unfriendly welcome from the 2 girls working. It was Freezing cold in there and very dull atmosphere. The place was dirty and the toilet floor was soaking ( no wet floor sign ) Desserts didn't come all together. Absolutely rubbish.

I has a amazing experience at this shop. I was served by a lovely lady called Jazz and I was treated with so much respect, I have been back to this location for over 10 times now. I would definitely recommend ♥️

Staff were so welcoming, friendly and really good at their jobs! They were so attentive to my 6 year old chewing their ear off and listened to her stories, then the food came out and she went quiet!!

This place was my favourite dessert shop and now is the worst of the places. We went in for a 10pm dessert treat. They denied a table, only because they were closing at 11pm. Fair enough!!! Last customer entry is limited, and we had a take away. Strawberry indulgence was soggy with rotten strawberries and chocolate poured over the waffle. My first and probably last experience of a take away. Will remember and hate this place ever again. All the more staff were rude to express and serve.. thanks for your service.

Great desserts, only let down by extremely low service and disinterested staff.

Went here today for my Auntie's Birthday. I ordered a banoffi waffle and they served me a Banoffi choco nut waffle... I have a huge nut allergy and if it wasn't for my Aunty pointing out she was pretty sure it was nutella on my waffle i would have eaten it and possibly ended up in hospital. When pointed out i didn't even get an apology. It was as if the staff didn't care at all. I even had to chase them down for missing items from out party as well. My child needed the toilet before leaving and it was absolutely filthy in there. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in god know's how long. Urine everywhere and just very disgusting. If he hadn't been bursting i would have taken him elsewhere to pee. Very disappointed with our experience and lack of care by staff.

Had a beautiful pancake with nuttella & smarties, it was lush... yummy

Place was filthy tbh. There was food squashed on the floor around our table. Little girl wanted to use the toilets and only 1 disabled toilet was open. Which was filthy dirty. Urine everywhere. The main toilets have been OUT OF ORDER for months now. There is a legal requirement which had to be met by eat in restaurants. Which these people are NOT fulfilling in a safe and hygienic manner. Re. Food. Waffles were coated like the chocolate was rationed and the crepes were as thick as pancakes if not thicker! This place used to be really good. Bow going completely down hill!

The place is very cosy with the most delicious desserts in town. Staff is more than polite and welcoming. Always a pleasure to visit.
