Such a shame that bar prices are different depending on whether or not there is a rugby match being played. This is so disappointing for someone who lives close by, and contributes to little or no atmosphere on a Saturday night. There are cheaper places nearby with a far better ambience. Think again please Eli Jenkins.

Great place for a beer and a meal. Very well priced and relatively cheap in comparison for other bars in the bay. Sports viewing is spot on and the pub is always welcoming and warm. Happy hour Monday to Friday 5-8pm. Awesome.

My wife and I enjoyed great pub fayre today. 2x Large succulent steak meals, 2x pints, 2x large red wines. £50. Steaks were impeccable. We got there at 5pm, before the hordes arrived from the Millennium Centre show, and as 'Happy Hour' began. The place was cosy, and the bar staff were friendly and helpful.

Sister’s birthday, so had a pint or two, then had two 10oz rump steaks, cooked to perfection, outstanding food, defo coming back.

Very quiet on Tuesday lunch time. I didn't eat but a glance at the menu suggests a pretty generic choice including burgers, pizza and small plates. Lots of keg taps serving about 6 lagers, 2 Brewdogs and 2 Camden. Only one welsh beer on tap, Tiny Rebel Cali. Of 3 hand pulls, only one in action serving Cornwalls finest ubiquitous Doom Bar. Poor representation of Wales many breweries given the proximity to Crafty Devil and Pipes.

A pub that's self described as purveyors of craft beer sells the most generic craft beer on the market. And technically brewdog and Camden ale are not craft beer. To make matters worse the Hazy Jane I ordered was sour and tasted nothing like it should. Had two sips of it and gave up it was that bad. My partners camden pale tasted OK though. Overall, extremely disappointing.

Decent pub in the bay. It can get a little busy if the sports are on or it's just a Saturday night meaning that the serving time can drag to a crawl and tables don't get cleared quickly. There is no nice view either, despite being in the Bay. Decent sized outdoor area. Happy hour is excellent value at £4 per pint (Madri is on there, but the more premium options like Asahi are not). One of the better options in the area and I'm turning into a regular.

Only £4 a pint and the staff were friendly enough. Do not, and I mean it, DO NOT get the cheeseburger spring rolls as you will be disappointed. I saw them, though this is going to be amazing but they just don't work.

As a woman travelling alone, it can often feel intimidating entering or eating alone in a pub however that has not been an issue at Eli Jenkins. I have visited the Bay 3 times over the last few weeks and Eli Jenkins has been my go to for food each time. I have had no complaints about the food or service and have found it reasonably priced. I will be going there again when I visit the Bay next week. The ability to order from the table via the QR code is particularly useful as it means I don't have to leave my coat etc unattended or have to bring everything with me to the bar.

Top quality hospitality from the barman

Brilliant service from start to finish. Arrived with a mate for some lunch and ordered the mega mixed grill which was well worth the money and cooked to how we asked. Tyrone served us and nothing was any trouble. Recommend for those looking for somewhere to eat and chill with a drink. Definitely will be back again.

Polite staff but the food wasn't the best, tasted bland need plenty of salt. Cheese wasn't cheesy just a little underwhelming for £30.

We booked for an evening meal. On arrival the place looked in a fair state, some tables were full of plates, glasses, with no one sat at the table. However a quick enquiry at the bar, a table was soon cleared for us to use. We ordered food which arrived and was nice & hot. A bit overpriced for what we had, same for the choice of our drinks. May call again

It's really good value for the food and portions. Nice sat out in the garden terrace on a summers day. Look out for gulls... Crackin!

Don't go here if you want to eat. I travel for business and frequent this place regularly for a nice pint and a well priced meal. This has changed. The last 3 times I've been the kitchen has been closed at 7pm. One time the barman actually thought it was funny to point out the chef was at the bar drinking. 60 pound or so a visit. I'll take my custom elsewhere. Very poor.
