Catered Hen Party weekend, we had fabulous catering for a themed evening on Friday and a formal evening on Saturday. Both evening the food was great, but the formal evening meal was stunning. The entire team were accommodating, friendly, and left no trace that they had even been in the kitchen. Highly recommend for any private dining event.

Used Derbyshire eats to cater for 16 when staying in Hope, great communication, great staff and great food. Would highly recommend and will certainly use again in the future. My only suggestion would be to add a couple of canapés to extend the experience but this does not deter from a great experience.

These guys catered for 17 people including children with ease, we had a superb three course dinner cooked by the talented Tom and served by Nick and his lovely wife The whole experience from start to finish was seamless and would highly recommended this team to anyone looking for a fine dining quality meal in the comfort of your own home ( or in our case a holiday home for the weekend) We all had a fabulous time celebrating two birthdays in Derbyshire

5 ⭐️ Couldn’t recommend them enough, they catered for 15 of us seamlessly with several dietary requirements in our rented holiday house. We had an Italian themed tapas which was amazing quality and tasting food. They were shown the kitchen and they did everything else so subtlety from there, even cleaning everything up without question. So friendly and easy booking and communication. Thankyou!

We used Derbyshire Eats to cater for a hen weekend in a large cottage for approx 20 people with a 3 three course meal. The team were amazingly efficient as they just went about their business prepping meals in the kitchen before serving, completely unobtrusive and professional. Very friendly team, lovely meals; we were all really pleased with our slap up meal choice ...even if we ate too much!

Nick and Tom provided a superb family dinner for us at our weekend farmhouse venue. Their consideration with the menu was so helpful, the food was first class and delicious and the service was so professional and discreet, making the evening a very special experience. Absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending them.

Tom is the chef and Nick is well im not really sure what his title is but he manages the booking and liaises re the menu, he meets and greets you and is your friend immediately - what a team. Nothing was too much trouble we ended up creating our own 3 course menu for 12 and the food exceeded all expectations. The table looked lovely and Nick popped back and forth between us and the kitchen not intrusive but very attentive. These 2 deserve all the bookings they get and you wont be disappointed with the food and the total detail to attention, its worth going back to the Peak District to have them cater for you.

We have been here many times and spent hundreds of pounds over the years but we won't be going again. We were celebrating our anniversary and booked in advance making it clear that one of the party is GF due to a severe allergy. We arrived to find one male server who clearly was unable to cope as he was doing the bar as well as serving on the tables. We had to sit in the bar to start without being offered a drink then were taken to our table but despite reiterating my allergy I was served gluten containing bread which I had to point out. It was taken away and replaced by molten GF bread followed swiftly by a sirloin steak in what purported to be a peppercorn sauce which, although tasty, contained lots of unexpected herbs and was extremely watery. We were asked if we wanted a side and were sold a cauliflower cheese which chef bought to our table pointing out that it contained GLUTEN!!! At no stage did anyone apologise for selling us a side that was totally inappropriate. Nor did they enquire if everything was satisfactory. When we came to leave a miserly 10% was knocked off the bill which included the gluten containing cauliflower cheese! You'd have thought the least they could do was subtract it from the bill but no they charged me for it! So in reality the 10% after subtracting the cost of the cauliflower cheese came to an allowance of less than 2 pounds! Needless to say I was not impressed and felt the servers paltry allowance for what he called the gluten fiasco was wholly inadequate and really added insult to injury.

Lovely independent bakery. We had 2 sandwiches to take away. They were very good. Ciabatta and top quality fillings for a very reasonable price. The sausage roll was amazing. Friendly service. Will definitely return when in the area again.
