My now wife and I had our wedding reception at DRFC. From start to finish Chris and his team at DRFC made things easy and we had the most fantastic reception at the club. We can't thank them enough. We highly recommend going for a pint or planning an event there.

Private event held in the club, plenty of seating available, great choice of drinks at a very reasonable price with quick and efficient service from the staff.

Disappointing turnout compared to other years for a showing of The Greatest Showman film, there is something to said for eating/drinking and enjoying a film outdoors, it was very well organised as usual. Had a drink before the film started sitting on the terrace overlooking the rugby field it looks fabulous,

Visited the Rugby Club two night's running for screenings put on by Quad of Grease followed by a firework display and the following night the Greatest Showman. As always these were well organised events, bar was open for drinks and also food available if you needed any.

We needed a venue with good parking, disability access ,a large bar and dancefloor. That would allow us to bring in our own caterers and provide the necessary equipment for them. The rugby club ticked all the boxes. It was a great night and brilliant value too. The staff were lovely and the manager was very accommodating. We were able to go in on the morning and set up and leave the rest to them.

Great friends and lovely staff with rugby playing on the big screen when we get bored of the cars and games in the car park what more could you want. O OK then good food and drink full house

I'm member of the rugby club and I come here every week fantastic bar area for parties and meals fantastic outdoor area for any activities

Had around 100 guests at the Rugby club with a live band. Had a fantastic evening great venue for a party or event. Staff were friendly, drinks were well priced and the food was delicious. We had veg lasagne, chicken curry, mediterranean pork and beef borginion. Amazing time would definitely hire the venue again.

Derby Rugby Club hosted a Quad screening of the iconic film Dirty Dancing followed by a Fireworks display, a great crowd, mainly ladies, I wonder why, a great night was had by all.

On a sunny Sunday afternoon watching the ladies rugby match then enjoyed a Hog Roast washed down with a few pints of cider, what is not to like about that.

Great place to visit, especially on match days. Good simple well done pub grub is its strength, along with very well looked after ales. Not a fine dining venue, but very good at what it does.

If you want a good place for parties, business events, meetings, team building (indoor and our door) then this is the place. Loads of parking, just close to City Centre and easy to find. Good pricing and packages to suit all pockets and budgets. Catering is excellent, lots of choice, BBQ's a specialty.

Great room. Good venue. Friendly staff. Clean. Fabulous buffet. Would recommend. Definitely would consider this place for any future parties.

we found the perfect place to hold our mothers wake . the function room was ideal and can be split for smaller or larger functions from 20 - 200 plus. the staff lead by leigh on the day were outstanding , with nothing too much trouble , the food was superb , and our every need was catered for ,it was a super send off for a wonderful mother . the whole atmosphere of haslams was quite outstanding, with verandhas with out standing views . a lift for people who struggle with the stairs . in fact all needs are catered for. a massive thank you to leigh and his hard working team for making a difficult event as stress free as possible.thank you. i would definately reccomend this venue for any such party ie weddings , and any partys along those lines. thank you again.

We recently held our wedding reception at Haslam's. We loved it. It was extremely good value for money and the guys couldn't do more to help us set up, looked after us throughout the evening and then cleaned up after us! The assistant manager even popped in on his day off the next day to help us pack our stuff in our car (including the wedding cake which they cut and stored in their chiller) and bring everything home. Can't rate this place highly enough for any event you're planning. Great value and flexibility to every need. Thanks also to Roy the resident DJ - brilliant mixes and preparations/time keeping!
