Delush Burgers & Pizzas in Northampton

Go to place for post night out scran. Yes I’m doing this review 5 years late but I needed time to deliberate. Devastated my fave burger place has burnt down. Definitely was nothing to do with cleanliness. Miss you Delush. RIP. Northampton’s finest dining.

Shut down by food and hygiene safety. Disgustingly dirty.

Hope this place gets closed down soon. Disgusting what they do to their customers! May Allah look down on you!

Orderd Food £31 Absolutely Inedible. Got a call 1 hour after i ordered to say some of my order was not avalible. Never again. Tried to conplain. Got some bloke in his car who was not interested. Food was dry and tasteless and was put in the bin. STAY AWAY.

What an absolute s@#& show of a takeaway!! £26 on this!!! The chicken was practically rubber the whole thing looked like road kill!! . One meal was completely wrong and one side missing !! Called 6/7 times with no answer . Absolutely the WORST takeaway I've ever had !!!

I would give no star, ordered chicken burger and kabab both of them are tasteless. Late delivery and chicken nuggets and fries are bitter taste. I won't ever order from them ever again

Ordered food and when delivered part of order was missing and I will be ringing them when they open and getting a refund on items that was not in order

The Crispy Chicken Burger is delicious

Havent even taken the time to read the notes left, french fries were bland, felt like eating cardboard, chicken nuggets felt like they were frozen a dozen times barely tasted like chicken…

Wow if I could hit a zero star I would, no interest with food hygiene, just refer it to Uber , even though they cooked it and included a free human hair, tried once never again

Ordered at 3.18 came at 4.50 this was a kid's meal I rang them at 4.30 and suprise it came 10 minutes later hot so guessing they forgot about it and just made it as I called them

Worst takeaway experience ever had. Thin cheap burger not worth £10.50. 20 mins late. Made to run through village at 23:40 finding lost driver. Cold soggy chips. Choice of onion OR tomato OR lettuce, not all?! Phone number on app invalid, phone number on Google rang forever unanswered. I'll never use this restaurant ever again. Awful food, truly awful. Bacon fat was like chewing gum. It came late and I was made to run down the street - I deserve at least a refund for my delivery and cold chips.

The food arrived after an hour and a half after ordering. It was cold. We ordered pizza with stuffed crust. It didnt have a stuffed crust. We ordered extras on the pizza, wich wasn't there. This is the second time this has happened. The food is rather expensive for what you actually get! We wont be ordering from. Here again.

Food was cold, looks sloppy, part order missing and the kebab looked like little choped up bits of kebab topped up with chopped up burnt burger, never saw anything like it.

Disgusting service. Rude staff. Avoid this place unless you like hair in your food and then getting accused of lying when you phone to complain!

Two 'hot dogs' that were actually pork sausages. As you can see pink raw in the middle. I rang the restaurant to complain and was told that's how the sausages come, pink in the middle! I was offered replacement order but obviously declined. I asked for some kind of refund as was told straight out no! Will be contacting FSA.

Ordered pizza...waited over an hour for delivery and when they turned up was completely wrong..after ringing was told only 1 driver so can't give you the right pizza tonight..so waste of money and time pizza in bin..

It's always good to make a business for burgers and stuff but I got my burger and it was still kinda pink inside.

Recently reordered after their shop being closed for a few months. Not sure if they've got new management or just slacked. Paid 9 quid for a vegan burger which was just two buns with a veggie burger in the middle, no sauce or lettuce as requested. Pizza arrived luke warm, the chips were soggy and hard at the same time. Potato wedges were good but everything else wasn't. Extremely disappointing and will not be ordering from them again. UPDATE: They tried to save themselves by giving 5 quid off. The pizza was late and the guy at the counter claimed the driver tried to call me (he didn't), I called him out, he then said "we've got a new driver", the pizza was rubbish which keeps up with the theme of all their food nowadays. They used to be a great business but now...God knows what's happened. DO NOT ORDER. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

After waiting 2 hours the food arrived stone cold missing bits and one pizza had obviously been stacked on the end as the pizza was all squashed at one end. This is the second time the order has been unsatisfactory. Would not recommend anyone order from here

Had takeaway from here last night, probably the worst takeaway I've had. It turned up over half hr late. Food was cold, rock hard and thrown together. The worst mistake I made was I had a burger with loads in it, which just meant there was more to be wrong with it. Hardly touched it. Never ever again.

Ordered using justeat! This food was absolutely awful! Salt seemed to be there only seasoning which then left it inedible and don't order spaghetti and meatballs unless you want a layer of thick overcooked grilled cheese on top with no seasoning!

There's a difference between cooked & uncooked but this... DISGRACEFUL!

Food incorrect, smothered in sauce, cold and frankly disgusting. Phoned to complain and the guy wanted to argue telling me I was wrong, i had to read his own menu out for him and he still didn't understand. Place has gone downhill. No wonder they had 1 star food rating, if staff can't get customer service right then they won't be keeping anything clean and hygiene won't be a priority... I will never place another order here again.

the food we ordered was not what we were given . The burger was trash and inedible. The chilli con carve chips and cheese came with no cheese and 1 tiny spoonful of chilli . Had to put the chips on the microwave urghhhhhh. A few days ago when we ordered the food was cold and we ordered pepperoni pizza and didn’t get any pepperoni. No more excuses we can’t order from here anymore

Used to be good. Last 2 times ordering food has turned up late, only delivered after calling to complain. Both times arrived with food freezing cold and items missing. Will never use again,not sure if there are new staff or owners... gone downhill in past few months

Most awful customer service. Waited over 1 hour, and was told food would be on its way, then at 2 hours, told someone called to cancel the order. Number 1 - GET MORE DELIVERY DRIVERS, Number 2 - HIRE ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF. AFTER 2 HOURS MANAGER THINKS WE WILL WAIT FURTHER 20 MINS FOR A TAKEAWAY. CLOWNS!

Excellent food. Pizzas and burgers are especially nice. Not long been refurbished so has some nice seats to sit in while you wait if you collect.

They have a 1 star rating from the food standards agency. This is the worst food outlet in Northampton for service and food quality. Not recommended

I had a very tasty donor kebab and the chips were delicious .

Best place in Northampton, no doubt, the costumer service is so good and helpful, the quality of the food is just amazing, definitely will order again.

An hour and a half to get here. Forgot a portion of chips and all our drinks. And the beautiful little cherry on top was charging an extra £1.50 for no reason as we'd already seen delivery charge was one pound. On informing them of this on the phone, they were rude, couldn't justify the extra cost and have guaranteed I will be telling EVERYONE I know, never to use them. To delush, your awful attitude will cost you customers. It just did with us and hopefully a lot more after reading this review. Your food isn't so good that you'll get away with treating people so rudely! Utter shambles

Food delivered late and it was not what i ordered. When i rang de lush, very argumenative response and no refund offered. This used to be very good so i can inly assume under new management and underqualified staff. I will not order from them again. If i could give zero stars , i woukd. They need to be reported.

This was my veggie kebab. Apparently this is one of their most popular meals and this is the standard that they all arrive in. Management were not interested in rectifying the situation and stated it is how it comes.

Right. Hands down, worst place I've ever eaten from in my entire life. Horrible food. Even horrible customer service, extremely ill mannered staff who don't even have the courtesy to speak with respect. Ordered food at 10 o clock, called them back at 11 they said 20 mins, called them at 11.30 they said 10 mins called them at 12 o clock they said driver has left 5 mins called them after 15 mins they again said 5 mins, I end up falling asleep and the driver arrives at 01.30AM! And here's the best part, delivered me half the order with no drinks,fries,nuggets and chicken wings and charged me the full money, when I went in and realized half the order was missing, I called them to say half the order was missing and that it took them 3 hours to deliver, the staff member told me to "eff off". UNBELIEVABLE. I have no clue how these Cowboys are still trading.

Absolutely disgusted with the customer service. Ordered pizzas which took forever to come and when they finally arrived they were cold and the orders were wrong with missing items. When we called to complain the man stated 'we do not need customers like you who complain, don't order from us again then'. Would give this place less than 1 star rating 🤢

Ordered via Just Eat, missed items from order, when I phoned to complain I was told never to order from them again as they do not need difficult customers like me. Also the worst takeaway pizza I have ever had, bland and cold. Need to be able to score zero star for this.

Our favourite post night-out restaurant of choice. No reason to ever go anywhere else! The chicken box is our favourite

I got attracted to this place as it looks like fancy burger restaurant from outside. Then I got inside I sow dodgy cables on the floor in kitchen and dust on kitchen floor probably not cleaned for months. I walked away. If place is not clean I would not order my food from there.

You call to order and they tell you it will be half an hour. 3 hours waiting and they decide to stop answering the phone!

Order food at 7:00pm got to 10pm after ringing twice saying it's on the way and still waiting after ringing third time they couldn't even find our order. Wouldnt bother ordering food from here.

Not very good. Ordered doner and chicken Shish. I can’t put my finger on it but there was something not quite right. From the outside it looks really nice but poke you’re head around the kitchen and it’s lacking tlc.

Wow! This place is officially the worst takeaway I've ever had. After waiting a solid hour and a half three boxes of stale cold cardboard arrived. No wonder it's buy one get one free! If you really want a takeaway, just... don't. Dig around in the center console of your car for a month old McDonald's chip and you'll be sorted 🤢🤢🤢.

Normally pretty Good, but ordered today, food was late so I rang they told me the driver was on route, another 20mins later food arrived cold. 1hr and 45mins in total!! Was starving so age the food but cold soggy chips and cheese is not nice!!

Food is nice enough but too many times ive ordered and not recieved my whole order. When ive rang they always tell me they will resend the food but it doesnt arrive.

All our food arrived cold and completely inedable. Was Made out to be a liar about this and refused any kind of refund as it's against there "policy". I would recommend avoiding this place unless you like waisting your money. Wish i would have checked their reviews first as they clearly don't value their customers. Will be reporting to trading standards and eho.

Placed an order over the phone person on the phone kept talking to other people should have taken that as a bad sign! Asked what size pizza I wanted even though I hadn’t asked for pizza. Wanted to pay card so told a card machine would be brought to the door. No card machine brought to the door .... paid over the phone. Opened up food 2 orders missing. Gave my son his meal to find out it was stone cold (as was other food) told new food would be sent straight away but still waiting .....

Ordered rump steak kebab. Could not eat it as steak was so tough!! Ordered bacon and cheese fries which were great, except there was no cheese. And for a second time, I was given chocolate cake instead if the toffee cake I'd ordered. Once bitten, twice is the enough. Never again.

Worst place to eat ever!!! We went there with my partner to get take away kebabs we paid and had to wait 10 -15 min so we had time to look at the place. It was very dirty everywhere and everything. Full rubbish bags in aswell. Kebab Meats on the grill when switched off - cross contamination.Lucky that we had shish kebabs and meat was on very hot grill so I wasn't scare to eat it and that was all what I had only meat with sos. Couldn't think of eating salad or bread from there. Never again!!!!

Horrible experience We ordered over an hour ago The food has come minus our chips and stone cold to touch. They said ok we can make more but wait another hour for delivery after already waiting an hour. Every time there's something wrong with this place

The order was missing item it was over 30 mins late and the items that did arrive were wrong. Used to be alright but never ordering from there ever again.

There wasn't much of a problem with the pizzas, but I ordered sides that didn't arrive with the delivery. I was told by the driver that I still had to pay for the stuff he hadn't got and to call back and they'd come straight away. I called back. I was told they were on their way. It's over 2 hours now since my original order and some of us have to go to work in the morning. I wouldn't be pissed off if I hadn't already paid for them. This place used to be good, but the pizza wasn't great and I've paid for sides that never came. I've called back. I've been polite and explained, but NOTHING!

Gormet burgers are amazing. Must try. Phat portion of chips with every burger.

I have been ordering from De Lush for over a year now (University student, cant beat an £8.99 18'' pizza with chips/drink.) .... As I have never had issues with their delivery service and I would use it roughly once every 2 weeks, I feel they are extremely good and reliable, I personally feel that if others have had issues with them and payments/orders, that the customer was likely at fault, the staff cannot hear you on the phone very clearly so talk slowly and clearly and have them relay what you said back to you and you will likely have a brilliant service, just like myself.

I ordered my food and they didnt deliver it but took they money out anyway when i rang them they said they were closed and the person i spoke to on the phone was very rude he said "I didn't take no money off you" when they did and they wont refund it which they better otherwise they are getting done for fraud!!!!!!

I love this place been getting food from here for the past 8 years im now classed as a regular costumer so you know I get free stuff sometimes, there kebabs are excellent Thousand Ireland sauce is to die for!! Kids menu is great nice great portions for little tummies. variety of Healthy food that taste great, lovely friendly service, that makes you feel great about the rest of your day. Pizza's are always cooked to perfection. Recommend there Curly fries!. There normal fries are the fine cut ones..lovely. Burgers are nicely done to. Great low cost prices which is excellent to go with there high grade food, Downside is sometimes when me an my hubby have ordered to a different address other than our own they have forgotten sauses or given wrong sauces but has only happened a small number of times in the whole 8 years I have been eating here. If your hungry and you need something thats filling & tasty on the way home from the pub or club come here!! yumm :-)

The worst experience ever. The staff was very rude. My order wasn't right and they refused to change it. I asked my burger without onions (as I'm allergic) but received with onions anyway. When I complained the person who works there said and I quote "It's not our problem. Take out the onions and you'll be fine" Never again!
