Burger King in Northampton

Terrible experience. Unfortunately the staff were more focused on deliveries. The food was cold, overcooked and dry.

Love a burger king tbh and this branch is no different. Food is good and staff friendly enough. Only reason for a 4 stars is that they no longer do milkshakes.

We went in there about midday the place was empty which we thought was strange I placed my order to someone that could not understand me then... it was cold and just rubbish. coffee was not drinkable... just the worst we have ever had ...

Manager pasha I think his name was he was soo fast making the food and also helped out the staff when they were struggling with orders. The food was soo fresh.

Today my son and husband visited the restaurant in Abington street, Northamptonshire. When my husband asked a member of staff for the key to the disabled toilet, the man shook his in disbelief and disgusted head and said “it’s just for handicapped people”. My son is nearly 5 and autistic. We rarely get to go out due to his daily struggles. Your employee made this particular day even harder. Comments like this in 2024 are disappointing and totally uneducated.

Very nice atmosphere, service on high level very kind

Absolutely shocking! Staff appear not to know what they are doing, the screens were something out of a doctor who episode that had been infected by the yk2 bug and impossible to read, after repeating my order back to me, they still ended up getting it wrong. At least it was edible and not too peopley in the restaurant, wouldn't recommend.

Like walking into a morgue, served by a woman who had zero personality and as much happiness as a cadaver. Food wasn't really hot or even warm, even though it looked like it was just cooked, due to having to wait.

Food was ok. Not great . But staff was unprofessional rude and didn't give right change back. My cup of tea wasn't full and no happy staff work there.

Food is normally prepared fresh as you wait. Not kept on hot plate as in other restaurants. (4* atmosphere because sitting area was 50% closed up)

So expensive and small portions.

To be fair "Iced Burgers" can apply to all Burger Kings today as icey cold burgers is all I have had from Burger King for the past 15 months! I went to this this branch on my lunch break from work & ordered a Whopper with cheese meal. The service was fine, The fries were piping hot & my iced strawberry drink was indeed iced. Unfortunatly so was the burger. Cold, fat congealed burger, served on an icey cold bun. I understand this is not a busy branch, but some years ago BK staff would microwave their burgers for 30 seconds before serving & this was fine. I was a fan of BK for over 20 years, but you will never see me in another branch as long as they are serving "Iced Burgers"...Maybe they are trying to start a new trend like Iced Tea & Iced coffee, but unfortunatly cold, cooked beef patties are a hive of nasty bacteria & goodness knows what else. So come on BK! You are better than this!

I don't recommend eating anything there.

Food was very nice, however the dining area and atmosphere was tragic, half of the dining area was closed off. But the other half that was open wasn’t even cleaned. A lot of dirty tables and food on the floor, bins overfilled and the cashier just standing there doing nothing. No music or anything all you can hear are the loud fans/extraction from the kitchen. Good customer service however.

Popped in for lunch today and was greeted by a male straight away at the till. He took my order and the lady behind him was already starting it. He was very polite and professional

Rude staff and they don't accept reward points. Generally unclean (although not all the fault of the staff) with people leaving trays and leftovers on the table and unclean toilets.

Clean, but very expensive for a single double cheeseburger now, nearly £7 and the bacon was cold and burger although hot had gristle which put me off

One of employees(I think Supervisor) was very rude he cancel my order beacouse I have screenshot on my phone.

Went there today absolutely disgusted classic meal showing on the bk app for £4.99 and tried to charge me £5.98 normally they check the app punch in a code then you get the meal according to the app price the member of staff refused to look at the app won't be spending my money ever again no star rating but unfortunately for me to put my review on Google I have to give it 1 star otherwise they won't post it

Would avoid this place if you are black. Manager is extremely racist. Every single visit has been the same. Today he aggressively approached my partner when I when he was not even serving us implying that we were trying to use two vouchers for one order. Before we even got a chance to explain he began ti attempt to reprimand us and telling us to stop shouting and be quiet. No body had raised their voice and we were simply answering a question. The staff member that had originally been serving us stood of to one corner mute not even explaining the situation to her manager to get him to stop attacking us. But instead waited for her manager to leave to apologise profusely as she had know her own manager was in the wrong. Again this is not the first time something like this has happened with that same manager.

My heavy pregnant partner went in cause she needed to use the toilet urgently and she was made to buy something in order to get the code to access to it . No consideration for her condition or whatsoever and 0 kindness.

Excellent service with a smile. Nice, fresh, tasty, piping hot food. Excellent portion sizes. I'll definitely come again🙂

Following all the promotion guidelines, I showed up to pick up a promotional sandwich with a friend and her daughter for whom an order for fries was placed after reporting at the checkout and waiting 35 minutes where 15 (just young boys) "other "people picked up promotional sandwiches, we found out from a Very rude.... Menager employee that we cannot pick up orders, and the person who take ours detalice and pass to waiting queue ( Front counter) doesn't know anything we've been mocked and treated very badly This menager in Arabic language the front of us says to block mobile orders.... I feel cheated

It's actually an ok place especially for a Burger King takeaway place very spacious they even have cushioned seats looks better than the one in the town centre can't fault the food at all all it was cooked fine the salad was fine onion Rings were fine chips were fine the only thing was the hot chocolate that was made to be frothy milk rather than hot chocolate I did ask for chicken nuggets it's well that was taken off off at the Checkout by somebody or they forgot to add it on but I didn't get them little bit dirty like a little tiny bit... I defo come again view is rubbish could use brighter lights in the restaurant as looks slightly dim but that's all

I guess I out grown the Burger King crave! I used to enjoy it in my teens but now I found it bland! The venue itself is not bad, but under staffed and I had to wait for a while to get the order.

Whilst standards are normally acceptable l found this time l didn't recieve what l ordered and when l reported l didn't feel that the manager generally address the error ☹️

Market Square is 5 stars, much better than Abington Square 1 star, Abington Square stops serving customers that walk in by 17.00,they have refused to serve me many times but offer delivery,which is ridiculous.Dont have this problem at Market Square,they always serve you.

The £1 Plant Whopper on the app was a bargain and tasted great. The restaurant was nearly empty but the tables were left unclean and the hand sanitiser was empty which was a shame. It's a bit gloomy in there too, could do with some good housekeeping.

Once ordered the one who served went round the back picked some sweaty burgers out a bowl about 15 seconds was ready to be bagged up. Fast food yes but what a load of rubbish. Burger King now permanently off my food list. Disgusting also fries were covered by far too much salt.

Went in and waited and waited, nobody taking any orders, left. Lousy service, definitely not fast food.

The place has a warm atmosphere with fast and brilliant service. There is usually not many people inside the restaurant, so it will be a good place to go for a quiet night out.

Usually this place isn't too busy and has plenty of seats to choose from. Today was slightly different. Although they weren't exceedingly busy the orders were backing up. There were trays lined up all of the counter and the lady matching the made food to the orders seems to perhaps have been new. It didn't look like they could cope. After collecting my food it was great as always. Maybe today was just a one off.

Would have been nice if the people preparing the burgers used food graded gloves whilst preparing. Also used the warmth of the burger to warm him self and had to return the burger with no compensation.and also the staff didn't apologize too.. so all negative.... Not visiting again....

Called in with my daughter for something to eat at 7.15pm on a Friday and was told that even though they dont close untill 8pm we could not eat in. No explanation was given.No wonder the place was empty

For £9 you would expect a premium tasting product, yes? Well I would. Sadly the Big King XL I had was the blandest tasting burger I've had in years. Burger King hang your head in shame here. There was meat in the burger but it was so over ran with cheese you should be selling this as a cheese roll. Really guys I expected better.
