Deli Licious in Oxford

Probably a bit pointless opening!! Never no ingredients. No ham, chicken, lettuce, tomato or COFFEE.

Los tres ciclistas hemos estado terminando nuestros paseos en Oxford y sus alrededores durante varios meses en Deli - Licious (¡en realidad es la única razón por la que voy!). Imbatible.

Una pequeña cafetería con comida recién preparada y una pequeña tienda de delicatessen con muchas golosinas. Grandes desayunos, sándwiches, tostadas, sopas y pasteles / quiches.

Paré para un inglés completo hoy. Buen desayuno con una taza de té, servido rápidamente, frijoles horneados usualmente tibios pero bien. Lo único que faltaba era un miembro del personal feliz y agradable en lugar del infeliz que tenía

Este café es encantador, cómodo y tiene buena comida y productos, todo lo que necesitan hacer es limpiar su máquina de café a fondo y regularmente, como ex barista reconozco el sabor amargo del café donde esto no se está haciendo, y ha sido como esto por más de un año ¡Solución fácil!

Popped in by chance and very glad we did. Lovely paninis really full tasty filling and lovely and soft. Very nice staff and chai latte is brilliant.

Just driving past and fancied coffee/breakfast. Lovely coffee and delicious breakfast baguette. Friendly staff. All good!

Delicious food, particularly the cakes and the fresh sandwiches and paninis. Can easily customise your order (extra cheese, no mushrooms etc.)

Just locked out of my house so sought shelter here. Lovely staff. Very nice carrot cake and tea. Nice and warm.

Last visit was a long time ago and wasn't good. It had been a favourite of ours for a while, partly because it is so local. January 2019, went for a walk and decided to try again. Disappointing. Polite young lady took our order but then the wait was long, and the place was empty apart from one table. Two simple paninis at £4 each as well - not sure if it would have been more if we sat in. The cheese was barely melted and most of the ham was cold. Sadly not enjoyable. The establishment is clean, quaint, and welcoming so I've not scored lower for this reason. Been to a similar establishment not far from here recently which is cheaper and better quality. It's such a shame. Would love this to be fantastic again as per when it first opened, but it's still not quite right.

Deliicious was the perfect place to relax and have afternoon tea for two and scones and cake. The food is very good Staff are friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable Place is clean as are toilet

Both the food and the staff at Deli-Licious are hard to beat - great little family-friendly place to grab a bite to eat where nothing is too much trouble for the very welcoming staff. I highly recommend it to all!

Lunch time visit with freshly made sandwiches . Well filled . Great coffee and cakes . Asset to the area .

Very welcoming atmosphere. Perfect place to enjoy a hot drink and read a book. Staff are friendly, and the chocolate brownie is to die for!

The perfect place for lunch, the home made soup is particularly delicious and service is always friendly and timely.

Beautiful cakes and a proper cup of tea but please keep lemon for those of us who don't take milk with out tea. Plenty of room although busy and friendly, helpful team

Lo único bueno de tener un amigo en el Hospital JR, es que pude volver a Delilicious. Estaba cansado y realmente esperaba que el Deli hogareña bastante todavía estaba allí. Mis expectativas eran muy altas y no me decepcionó. Mi café con leche era cremosa y robusto.

Yo vivo a la vuelta de la esquina, y siempre me encanta visitar este Deli. El personal es siempre muy amable y atento, parece que realmente tienen una pasión por su trabajo. Toda su selección de pan, pasteles, tartas y el menú del almuerzo es increíble y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Nunca estamos esperando demasiado tiempo para que venga a ti. El ambiente también es muy acogedor y hogareño, que es algo que es realmente difícil de fabricación, hace que el lugar sentir realmente especial. Sencillamente el mejor café en Oxford.

Este es un lugar precioso para ir a por un café y almuerzos ligeros. regularmente llevar pacientes al hospital jr - y yo vengo aquí mientras estoy esperando a volver y recoger ellos. Kate y su personal siempre cálido y acogedor, el café es estupendo, y los bollos de fruta es el mejor de todos. Me encanta la decoración y el ambiente relajado. También hay unos cuantos regalos para la venta. Muy popular - ya sea para comer en el restaurante o para llevar. Estoy deseando que llegue mi próxima visita.

Tuve un desayuno muy delicioso ayer y está muy bien preparado. Sin duda vale la pena la relación calidad-precio. Las chicas que trabajan allí son muy dulce y adorable! Muchos venden un regalo de navidad, lo que fue muy útil! Altamente recomendado!

Wonderful place to grab lunch or a cup of coffee - staff are so friendly and helpful, food is delicious and fresh, great variety on offer, reasonably priced for the quality, nice ambiance, lovely decor and it has great shop to buy treats, jams or crafts. Highly recommend!

Lovely fresh baguettes, which we often get for lunch (take away), as work close by, but today had the best home made mushroom soup & warm brown baguette with butter (eat in). Nice place and friendly staff.

Very nice service a little expensive chicken baguette & coffee take out £6.20 but nice products. Would visit again would recommend if you would like a quiet spot for lunch.

Been a while since I have been in as previous couple of experiences (between my last review and this) it was really inconsistent.Went twice within the past week. Again, inconsistent. First time, not dreadful, but could have been a bit better. Had a feeling I was going to be back this week based on schedule so left an overall review until such time.This time, we ordered the same. Few simple panini's, with cake. All of our panini's were sub-standard. Not particularly warm. The ham in mine was barely warm so I ended up pulling most out.One family member had a quiche which he did not enjoy so left virtually all (apart from the piece he spat out). He said the taste just wasn't great. The cake slice varied from very dry to very moist. It is a real shame, as I have sat in here and had takeaway and the service been excellent and they work exceptionally hard, but it is inconsistent and pricey, which when you get something below par doesn't help.No doubt I will try again in the future.

I first went to this wonderful deli/ coffee shop when I was visiting the neighbouring hospital, 5 mins up the road. It has now become a regular haunt... I love it!It has such a lovely atmosphere and a real community spirit, something that is hard to find these days! The quality of the coffee they serve is outstanding! The food really is deli-licious!!! The sausage rolls are all home made and to die for! The cakes too, are all freshly made and there is a wide choice! All their soups are homemade and produce is sauced locally.It makes a change to find happy staff too, all the girls are smiley and chatty. The owner seems genuine and kind and obviously loves what she does!Most importantly, it makes my hospital appointments more bearable,knowing there is a deli-licious treat waiting for me at the end!!!

Always happy and smiling and nothing is ever too much. This deli is where I come to every morning after my night shifts. Would highly recommend it.

We stopped by the deli for a quick cup of coffee on our road trip. I wasn't expecting anything special, but this place blew my mind. The moment I walked into the door I was greeted by the nicest girls. They were so knowledgeable and Wales me through every dessert on the menu. It's safe to say I had my cake and ate it too. I worked backwards from dessert to lunch because I knew if they can make a cake like that they must make a wicked sandwich. My quick coffee stop turned into an hour lunch and I plan on returning every time I'm in the country despite what the detour might be. The food and the staff really are DELI-LICIOUS!

Love this little place, always met by friendly staff, food is consistently good and well presented, followed by a lovely selection of cakes and treats for dessert accompanied with fine coffee.....what's not to like! And with parking straight outside its always my first choice of cafes in the area!!Leon

I was so impressed and touched by the personable approach of the staff and the incredibly warm and welcoming charm of the place. The food, although costing more than a co-op sandwhich, is definitely worth it. They make it freshly in the kitchen to order, the cakes are home-made and the portions are generous. I wish I lived locally so I could go all the time! Can't wait to return - thanks Deli-licious!

Stopped for a light lunch here today. Have been several times before but thought I would do a review this time. Excellent food and it was all very peaceful. No roaring demons for one thing. The butternut squash soup was really good and piping hot and the cinnamon and apple cake was yummy :)

I'm local and a regular customer at the deli on Cherwell drive. The staff are always friendly and helpful and I can't fault them. The food is simply gorgeous. There is always a lovely atmosphere in there and really a great shop.I recommend the sausage roll and brownies!!

Equally good for groups or solo, the latte and flapjacks are especially good. They don't do gluten-free or I'd go there more.

I have just had a delicious gluten free ham and cheese sandwich. All the girls are very nice and customer friendly. The ambience is homely and welcoming. I had never been here before, but I will be coming back!

Had a great breakfast baguette this time and the staff are always really friendly and helpful as always. Great range of home made cakes too, well with a try. Can't help keep going back as it's such a nice place to relax, have meetings and enjoy a coffee and food.Always make an excuse to have a meeting here now!

I pop in here a few times a week and I'm never disappointed. The cakes are spectacular and well priced and the general selection is fantastic, whether it's one of their giant sausage rolls or a filling breakfast baguette.The deli is always full of friendly, chatty people and the staff are always happy to see us and always cheery and helpful.One of the best places to eat in Oxford.

I have recently moved to the area from London, and paid a visit to this little deli on a cold Wednesday lunchtime. Wow, what can I say? The place is an absolute treat! I ordered a sausage roll and salad, and what arrived was a work of art. Beautifully presented, and delightfully home made. I could not resist the apple and cinnamon cake, which was a beautiful way to end my lunch. I even took a piece home for later! The staff were so lovely, and couldn't do enough for me- recommending places to visit in the local area, and helping me choose a gift for my aunt. Definitely service with a smile! There is no doubt that I will become a regular face here, and will be bringing my friends whenever they visit. The only downside to Delilicious is that it's only open six days a week!

I asked for a salad that I paid 5.50. I couldn't believe the portion it was very very small and it was basic lettuce with some yellow peppers and some ready sauce. For a shopping like this I was expect much more!!!

This is our local deli and we go for take away sandwiches and cakes a couple of times a month. As my title says, the food is tasty, but not cheap, so do bear that in mind. The service has been varied on the many occasions we have been in and it depends on who you see. For example, we tend to have three or four baguettes and cakes to go with these. Sometimes you will get a bag to carry them home in, sometimes not. Today, I went in and was expected to self-serve the cakes I wanted into a bag (never had that before) - not sure if it was a new member of staff, but there needs to be a little more consistency.Their cakes are some of the best home-made I have had and it is just a shame that the price is a little high and service not consistent, otherwise this would be five star review.Staff always friendly.

I have to admit to heading here nearly every day; wonderful coffee, the stickiest, naughtiest flapjack. The offer take away sandwiches as well and the most amazing scotch eggs, even vegan ones. Always busy, and that's not surprising. Yum!

Stumbled across this fantastic little deli by mistake one day and loved it so much I go out of my way to keep going back. Food and treats that you won't find anywhere else, as well as lovely fresh rolls and homemade soup. Staff are so friendly and always make you feel welcome.Its the type of place you want to keep quiet about in case it gets too popular, but can't help tell my friends about it. Highly recommend.

I'm quite a regular visitor to this deli as I live locally and it never disappoints. The sausage rolls in particular are absolutely spectacular and the range of homemade cakes they stock is fantastic. All the staff are friendly and helpful and they offer free wifi so you can browse while you enjoy your food. Very reasonable prices and a good selection of food and drink. This is the best deli I've found in Oxford and I can't recommend it highly enough.

What can I say ? This is my local sandwich shop for work. It is a pretty shop and has lovely healthy food. I had a sussgage roll, I had one cold one week it was awful. This weekend I had it warm, was ok not any better way too much meat... I have heard from staff that the women who works there is rude but never too me.The opening times are poor, always closed when I need a cafe. Shuts way to early but when u need a deli, you need a deli. Really shame as its near major sports centre and would get more customer if open later. Food ok, expensive but nice enough...
