This is a funky and friendly cafe in the centre of Boston. We found it by chance after a long walk by the river and looking for a late morning coffee. Friendly service and atmosphere and well-made coffee. We liked it so much we went back later for lunch and had delicious freshly made sandwiches with a side order of fresh skinny chips. Good and efficient service from young people who were friendly and seemed to like their work. Highly recommended.

Just have to say what a delicious treat the Tapas from this already fantastic cafe really is. In these dark times of no ‘going out’ and not being able to meet up with friends, it’s great to be able to have a little bit of Spain delivered to your door(or in our case collected...any excuse to get out). We’ve tried it a couple of times now and all of the dishes have been spot on. From an old favourite of ours Patrón Peppers to the latest addition to the menu, Chicken Thighs in Sherry (off the bone). It inspired us to make sangria 🍷. The best ‘night out’ we’ve had in for ages!

I had dashed in quick and hadn’t had chance to read the sign at the front whilst in there the petite middle aged woman shouted “get your mask on” in an aggressive manner which had me slightly irritated I had mentioned to the younger woman about the situation to which she said “that’s how it is “also abruptly but not to the same extent as the other one , to be honest for the prices they charge I think she could have said it in a different tone there wouldn’t have been a problem , COVID or not you don’t speak to customers like that I had started going there with a friend every week needless to say we won’t be returning !

Last Saturday was our first visit since lockdown. What a lovely welcome, didn’t have to say a word as the staff remembered our usual order, now that’s what we call good service. We are regular visitors to this great cafe. Food is great - the scrambled eggs on toast is the best I have tasted anywhere! There is a great vibe in the place - laid back atmosphere and a small team of friendly, welcoming, staff. The selection of cakes is something else! The peanut butter stack is to die for! Well worth a detour from the market place for a visit.

Fantastic visit to Delfino while on a flying visit to Boston. Wide selection of coffees that were expertly made. Would definitely recommend the melting chocolate cake served with cream. Was like a restaurant dessert! Our daughter throughly enjoyed her hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and our cappuccinos were delicious. Although we didn’t have a meal, the menu was extensive and there was lots on offer for those who are vegetarian or vegan. Non dairy milks were also available which was a bonus. Service was great. Friendly staff who knew their product. Would definitely return again to enjoy breakfast, brunch or lunch! If you’re in the area, search them out.

Stumbled across this absolute gem whilst searching for somewhere to stop for lunch with my wife & 3year old. Best service I've had in a long time, huge menu choice, absolutely amazing cakes, friendly attentive staff & the coffee outstrips the high street chains by miles. Clearly a popular place, but that's because it obviously gets things right. The Barrista was brilliant, taking time to talk through the menu & discuss each cake option with enthusiasm & passion without ever exerting pressure to buy. The food was freshly prepared to order in no time, the soup clearly quality hand made. All round just great service & the only reason that we will return to Boston again. Thank you, the country needs more businesses like this.

It was a decision between here and a popular coffee chain but I will definitely be back here and would rather spend my money here! My mocha was probably one of the best I’ve had, super smooth and a lovely flavour. You can tell the coffee is good quality and not bitter. We also had a piece of cake each, this was just as tasty. Lots of choice on the menu, will be back for lunch. Very friendly and welcoming staff, good atmosphere too. We dropped in here for a coffee but were tempted by the lovely display of cakes. Indeed, the staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable that they were easily able to describe all of the cakes on offer. We were able to sit in comfortable chairs watching the world go by. Whilst we were in we saw the staff be helpful to everyone who came in whether it was someone needing a door held open, furniture to be moved to fit in extra people or high chairs. It just felt really homely. The advertising boasts 'the best coffee in Boston' and I don't know if that is true but it is certainly good coffee.

We visited here for lunch after reading previous trip adviser reviews. We wanted to go somewhere child friendly for a light lunch. Upon our arrival we were met at the door and advised we could move chairs around to suit our needs. Unfortunately they didn't have a high chair for our son but they were happy for him to sit in a tub chair. They do have a baby changing area. The wonderful menu was explained to us with a large variety of sandwich fillings and different types of bread. They have gluten free options too. Then there is a vast array of gorgeous cakes which can be warmed and can be had with cream or ice cream. The food is lovely and freshly made. It arrived very quickly too. The service was very friendly and the staff members all knew what was in their products. We will definitely be back.

We don't visit Boston regularly so weren't sure where to get a coffee and some lunch. Looking for one of the regular chain coffee shops we came across Delfino down a small lane off the Market Place and decided to take a chance - and what a great decision! A great atmosphere , quality fresh coffee (Best in Boston?!) and brilliant staff. The location is quaint and vibrant. The premises have an international bistro atmosphere without the high cost. The Spanish Tapas evenings are a speciality. The place is scrupulously clean, smart, comfortable and very well managed with attentive staff who really care about their product and staff. Independents can outshine the same-old coffee houses chains and this cafe proves the point very well. Beautiful fresh cakes, pastries , croissant etc also available. A great place to meet and unwind. Internet is also available and small business meetings would also be appropriate. A must visit for anyone visiting Boston Lincolnshire! There are very reasonably Tapas evenings which should not be missed for a genuine taste of Spain. Visitors to Boston will feel as though they are really on holiday. This coffee shop was nice and myself and my husband had breakfast and coffee here. We sat down and our coffee's were brought over to us with not too long a wait. But it seemed to be a very long time in between having our coffee to the actual breakfast being served! When it was finally brought to our table I asked for a glass of water as by the time our breakfast had arrived our coffees had been drunk. The waiter said yes ok I will bring that over, well I waited and waited and looked over and said about my water and again I was told it will be over, nothing! Then my husband said again about my water and advised again it would be with us in a second, the water never materialised and I had finished my breakfast gasping for a drink!! It would seem as I had asked for water and there isn't a charge for that I was not given it or given any priority as other people that had ordered after us seemed to be given everything they had ordered. It doesn't really take 2 seconds to pour a glass of water and I stall cannot understand why we were never given it, there was no mention or apology of it when we got up to leave, not good customer service at all!

BUT and its a big BUT the toilet was grim. Couldn't understand why even though they'd got everything else right they'd failed to take into consideration the state of the toilet. Being women and I think most women feel this way a clean toilet is a must to every establishment so come on Delfinios get it sorted because we liked everything else about you so much we've decided to give it another go in the hopes they'll have rectified the problem, especially as we're looking for a place to meet friends on a monthly basis.

Cutting through Dolphin Lane, we noticed Delphino and decided to give it a try. Dolphin Lane is quite narrow and this could be easy to miss.It was quiet when we first went in, there being perhaps two or three more customers. We wanted just two coffees and something for a snack. Our order was executed promptly and was very acceptable. The accommodation includes a number of comfortable armchairs which create a relaxing atmosphere. Our visit was late morning/early lunchtime and whilst we were there a few more customers came in, some of which appeared to be repeat visitors.I'm not sure why, but I got a feeling that Delphino hadn't been open long. It is independent of any chain and therefore deserves to succeed. Perhaps more prominent advertising along Dolphin Lane might help?Passing by recently, I notice they also offer a take away deal now too.

One of my favorite pubs. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Great service. You can sit by the fireplace and drink warm coffee or beer. It has its own charm, just walk through the door and you feel like you went back several dozen years.
