Delamina in City of London, Westminster

This is the second time I've been to Delamina in Marylebone. The food is superb and the staff extremely professional and efficient. This visit we were celebrating our daughter's birthday and they gave her a lovely dessert with a candle on the house which she absolutely loved.

Le restaurant est très bien placé par contre franchement, il n’est pas très agréable de manger avec la table de votre droite et de votre gauche qui participe à votre intimité. Les tables sont tellement proches que cela en devient risible. Impossible de manger dans le calme. Les plats sont bons mais pas oufs non plus.

Excelente y delicioso. Delamina es mi restaurante favorito de todos los tiempos. Las papilas gustativas están garantizadas para hormiguear. ¡He comprado el libro de cocina!

A reliable favourite. Great food well priced welcoming staff great service I never feel rushed. It’s unpretentious and my W1 restaurant of choice when meeting friends

A truly great all-round experience - friendly staff, prompt service, delicious food and a good choice. Rare to go to a restaurant where everything on the menu is amazing! Undoubtedly the Jaffa breakfast is my favourite as it has a bit of everything. The Cheesecake cream is a must. It's my favourite restaurant = so much so that I bought the recipe book to learn to make my favourites.

Four of us we shared the olives, the crispy oyster mushrooms (very yummy), charred cauliflower and the humus, followed by the chicken, seared tuna, hake and the pitta balagan. We finished with the cheese cake and the halva. The wine list was decent and the service excellent. Prices are reasonable.

Lovely warm welcome and relaxing vibe, good to see people lingering and chatting after they'd finished eating. Superb, punchy shakshuka and I loved my grilled ras al hanout free-range (so few restaurants say this) chicken and red pepper puree.

Food & wine as delicious as always & our server a delight 😊. We were x4 pax at a lovely table by the open kitchen, first time downstairs. Our vegetarian guest was blown away by such interesting choices 😅! Very cosy & buzzing, a delight. Thank you.

Stumbled across this great spot! I live in London and so go to brilliant restaurants regularly, this did not disappoint! We had a wonderful meal and I will definitely be back! Recommended to all of my friends! Great food, service and atmosphere!

Fui a Delamina Marylebone con amigos antes de un concierto en el Wigmore Hall, y fue una experiencia fantástica. El ambiente era cálido y acogedor, perfecto para relajarse, y el servicio estaba atento de principio a fin. Compartimos una selección de platos – berenjena ahumada, cordero, champiñones y batatas – todos llenos de especias ricas y sabrosas. El vino tinto israelí fue una excelente adición, complementando cada plato maravillosamente. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar para cualquiera que busque comida deliciosa y un ambiente acogedor. ¡No puedo esperar para volver!

Menú creativo e inusual que ofrece cocina de alta gama mideastern. Un aperitivo de pan de pita cubierto con yogur, fruta, especias y otras deliciosas ofrendas fue maravilloso. La lubina a la parrilla sobre carbón vegetal en una cama de yogur condimentado era excepcional, así como el atún aromatizado con arándanos. Había muchas otras ofertas interesantes en el menú. Servicio atento, servicial y una amplia selección de vinos por copa.

Mi esposa y yo cenamos recientemente en Delamina Marylebone 🇬🇧. Nos gustó la mezcla a veces intrigante de sabores y sabores. Las gambas estaban muy buenas, y la cocción de la carne de res en rodajas era perfecta. Sin embargo, los platos eran a veces demasiado aceitosos (por ejemplo, la coliflor) , y los postres (fruta y ganache de chocolate) eran absolutamente poco notables. Nos gustó la decoración y el ambiente del restaurante aunque, cuando está lleno, el lugar tiende a ser ruidoso. El servicio fue amable, profesional y eficiente. El precio (unos 120 £ por 2 sin vino) era razonable para un restaurante de Londres.

Este lugar puede conseguir 5 estrellas fácilmente por muchas razones. Excelente comida, restaurante encantador y buen ambiente. Se pone ocupado aquí, así que siempre reservar mesa con antelación. Asientos dentro y fuera. Gran selección de comida que se ofrece desde vegetariana hasta carne y pescado. Todos los platos son deliciosos. Pedimos shawarma y su casa especial Jaffa casa estilo Tel que eran increíblemente buenos y shawarma con huevo frito y hummus, tahini estaba en la parte superior para probar algo diferente. No puedo decir que los precios eran razonables de acuerdo con la porción pequeña, pero hy es Londres. Todo lo que noto es una cosa, debería haber puerta en la entrada del inodoro no cortina porque está justo al lado del mostrador y en medio del comedor lo que me hace sentir incómodo cuando la gente usa los inodoros 🙁

Deliciosa comida, excelentes sabores. Excelente servicio. No es la primera vez que he estado y sin duda volveré en algún momento, ¡así que eso lo dice todo!

Reyrb visit for us The most delicious food. Best single element was the truffled artichoke under the mushrooms, but in a very narrow run off, best dish was the sea bream special with yoghurt and courgettes. Brilliantly balanced, bursting with flavour. Masses of veg led food. Also cocktails were great. Really delic. And terrific service.Will be back. The atmosphere is busy and vibrant rather than demure and romantic. Great meal.

My favourite restaurant in Marylebone and one of my favourites full stop. Food is always great - very good for sharing so no one misses out. The flavours are delicious and ingredients fresh and thoughtfully combined. The cheesecake is amazing. I was there for my birthday on Monday night and my cheesecake arrived complete with candle! Staff are really friendly and the service is attentive. Plus you can take away anything you can't eat because everything is so delicious it's easy to over order!

"Our second visit but unfortunately standards had dropped. Mainly signature cauliflower did was undercooked and not hot throughout. Table was directly impacted by sir conditioning unit putting a cold chill across your shoulders. Other dishes fine but …….we may now try others. Staff friendly but our meal was rushed making us think restaurant is chasing numbers not quality of service."

This was my second visit to Delamima and the food was even better than in March . Everything was outstanding from the salad with goats cheese and apricots , and the amazing charred cauliflower to the charcoal roasted sea bass and seared tuna , and finally the desert of kadayif nest with vanilla cheesecake which was so good we ordered another one . Our server was very friendly and helpful . The only area for improvement I think is the wine list - maybe some good Sardinian reds ( we had a bottle of Chianti Riserva which was ok but not memorable ) or Sicilian whites and reds , or perhaps some of the wonderful Lebanese reds . We can’t wait for our next visit .

Excellent food and we had a lovely attentive waiter, Peter (from Prague). Every dish was so beautifully prepared and flavoured- it’s worth trying as many as possible and sharing!

Loads of wonderful vegetarian options, tasty and beautifully presented. Unfortunately a mistake was made with our party and we had pre- ordered the pre- set vegetarian menu, starters were fine but then the mains were brought it and it was all meat, despite email confirmations (2). I was pretty horrified but after a while a vegetarian dish was brought out for each of the vegetarians in our party. Everyone else was very happy however and everything looked and tasted wonderful. I would definitely go back, only other down side was how noisy it is there but that is not the fault of the restaurant.

In absolute shock at the customer service and treatment of potential customers at this place. From the moment I called to want to book it was the most unfriendly man called Marco who made it very clear me & my guests can only have a sharing menu which is fine but I just don’t appreciate being welcomed like that and being told they can’t help me through the phone all has to be via email. I sent an email requesting to speak to someone who is experienced with individuals who have access needs and disabilities in order to avoid feeling anxious throughout the whole booking process. They don’t know how to accommodate individuals with allergies either and they were unaware of what to do as around 3 people had a shellfish allergy. I cancelled my booking over 24 hours in advance because of illness. Marco called me to ask why I cancelled and to explain the policies. I was aware it was 24 hours but apparently it’s 48 hours. I have access needs which I didn’t realise it was 48 hours for only a specific number. Either way I treated with the most disrespect and Marco said F*** you to me and charged £420 which thankfully didn’t go through as I had moved my money. However once realising that it didn’t go through he started charging in small amounts each time. Unfortunately he managed to take out £40 and even after taking this money carried on attempting in small amounts for 30 minutes. He just did this to be petty. Worst customer service, rude people, swearing at customers and mistreating someone who specified has access needs is just disgusting behaviour. I felt discriminated and so disrespected in more ways than one. Do not recommend at all.

Great atmosphere, really busy and buzzy. Staff all excellent. We were asked if we wanted inside or outside and neither was a problem for them. Lovely menu and specials - great options. Food came in good time and really nicely presented. Full of flavour. Prices good. Nothing bad to say - only great. GM was very nice guy. Will be back.

We had been before and were blown away by the quality of the food. This time we brought friends and sampled the delights if the charred cauliflower, crispy mixed mushrooms, aubergine, salad and courgette starters. The fish was beautiful and the lamb brilliant. Recommended by a friend so our expectations were high. Delamina exceeded them. Food was innovative, fresh, well cooked and extremely tasty. Baby gem with pomelo and goat cheese salad each wonderfully well dressed; the special, hake, and sea bass from the menu each delicious and full of unusual flavours and a berry pudding out of this world. Service welcoming, friendly and attentive. A great addition to London’s restaurant scene!

I love this restaurant. The team are welcoming, friendly and also helpful with any menu queries. The food is delicious and the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are also good. Whether it’s lunch or dinner, the overall experience is very special and I highly recommend.

We heard lots of good things about Delamina. So the expectations were already high walking into the restaurant .Well, it delivered . Superb food and welcoming service .They also have a cookbook which i have bought .

We were blown away by the delicious food, wonderful service and fantastic ambience. We shared the starters, each one a gem, tucked into the main course full of flavours and squeezed in two delightful desserts. The wine list selection is varied with new and exciting labels to try. I love this place!

I normally do not write reviews on tripadvisor. But i could not resist myself after experiencing in Delamina. Wow wow wow..the food is absolutely amazing. Think I finally found the right place to have a selection a delicious vege food .The courgette , cauliflower and the Hummus are mind blowing. I think a simple idea has been executed brilliantly .I sure will be pop back in next time I am in London.xx

We had a great dinner on Saturday night. We had celebrated our friend' s birthday . The menu has lots of vegetarian option which is great as few of us do not eat meat or fish .For starters we shared the vegetarian option and the Hummus and cauliflower were so flavoursome. Service is very attentive as well without rushing. They also have gave us a free cake and candle for birthday which really was a nice gesture .

Average experience. Despite booking and being one of the first there, we had the worst table in the middle of the restaurant and people kept banging into us when they walked by. They were clearly understaffed and service was lacking. Starters were lovely and very tasty but the lamb for main was tough and chewy.

Excellent food with lots of really interesting flavours that are ideal for sharing. Really impressed by the service and the attention to detail-well worth a visit.

I've been wanting to try Delamina's brunch for at least a year and today was finally the day. We used the online booking system to book a table for four only about an hour in advance, but our party was expected and warmly welcomed when we arrived. The brunch dishes were fresh and delicious, as were the hummus and aubergine side dishes. The service was friendly and efficient. All in all a lovely experience. We will be back!

I came with friends for dinner and to celebrate my birthday. Mohammed was kind and welcoming and got me a beautiful window seat. He recommended us a very good beef. I was also offered a drink and a cake to celebrate my birthday. I am really thankful to this restaurant and Mohammed for giving me and my friend a wonderful birthday memory. The food is also very tasty and healthy. This restaurant deserves to be enjoyed by people.

I don't normally leave reviews but the the staff and food is 10/10. The dishes are really flavourful and beautifully prepared. The staff is incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, warm and welcoming, and really take their time with their customers (and that in central London!). It felt like I was invited to eat at someone's home. Maria Jose is the best - have never come across a waitress who goes out of her way to ensure you have the best evening! Thank you Maria, and can definitely recommend this place!

We had a fab lunch, staff were friendly, atmosphere relaxed and the food was delicious. I'm definitely going again and would like to get the cookbook! As a vegetarian it was perfect for me! My husband loved the lamb.

Visited Delamina last Friday. There were six people in our party. The food and the service was First Class. For mains we had lamb koftas,chicken,cauliflower and other dishes. We all agreed each dish was delicious. Delamina is an absolute Gem of a restaurant.

Our waiter, Peter, was amazing. Food was also great and so different to the normal fair with real creativity. Every dish was amazing and decor cool tool. I could have eaten everything on the menu. Also great for veggies.
